"What if I want two?" Ime asked, clutching her coin purse to her chest.
"One is enough," her mother insisted, chuckling, "Now go ahead. ... and don't leave my sight!"
The slightly disappointed youngling approached a stall with stuffed buns and bought one, carrying it with great pride. It was then that she spotted one of the women she had seen battle in the tournament. She had lost, granted, but she had done a good job of kicking butt with someone seemingly older and more experienced. Without question, she hefted herself onto the bench and sat beside Kelina, giving a soft sigh and looking to her as she began to eat.
"I saw you fight. You were really good."

Sorry for the wait- my best friend is over for the week and I've kind of been avoiding the internets. Luckily, Ime and Kelina don't have to skip off to battle any more! |D

Kelina was eating her noodle soup stuff when a young girl came and pulled herself up onto the bench beside her. "I saw you fight. You were really good." The little girl said. Kelina turned to her with a smile on her face. "Thank you!" Kel said genuinely. Any compliment made her feel feel great even though she lost. "To be honest with you, it was my first battle and I was extremely nervous!" She said with a laugh, scratching the back of her neck. "I lucked out though, that my opponent was kind and well trained so the worst I got was bruises. I'm Kelina." Even though the youngling said she had seen her fight, Kel thought she should still introduce herself.

"I'm Ime," the youngling nodded, taking a bite of bun and politely chewing and swallowing before she spoke again. "I'm glad you're not hurt, it looked like he was real strong. I like girls who fight. Girls shouldn't just cook food and make babies, that's what my momma says and she's always right."
Ime peered around her as if she were an adult having a completely reasonable, friendly conversation with another mature individual. Her brows furrowed and she sighed for dramatic effect.
"All girls should be able to fight, and you can fight too now," she nodded.

Kelina was shocked when Ime started talking. She was so mature for her age! "It sounds like your Momma is very wise. I believe she is correct too, I think girls should be able to defend themselves. Being able to cook is a plus too, because then you're a triple threat! No boy would stand a chance!" Kel laughed at herself before turning back to Ime who was looking around and eating a bun. "Do you have any idea what class you want to go into when you get older?" She asked the youngling.
[Hijil:Watching the fights] Hijil frowned, fiddling with a string of beads in her pocket as she watched the fights. Her eyes darted back and forth as she watched the movements of her battle, restless with worry. It was shaping up to be an intense battle. Hijil was slightly relieved that it was equally intense on both sides, but her worries were not completely mollified. She didn't want to see her love torn to shreds, and that still was a possibility.

Shirin: spectator stands
Sometime after her match had concluded, the Wind girl made her way among the spectators to watch the rest of the tournament. Maybe she could learn some new tricks this way!
The fight was exciting, but even so, she couldn't help noticing that the Shifter girl nearby looked more worried than excited by the fight. Now why would that be? She thought for a moment, then gently remarked, "Do you happen to know one of the fighters down there?"

Rastian had meandered away from the crowds until he felt healed enough to stand again. The fire blasts he had endured from his opponent were tough, but left his with feelings of hope of what he could soon become if he tried hard enough. A book wasn't the right feel for him, he knew that now, and a staff seemed well in order. Maybe someone would be kind enough to trade one to him?
He had noticed Biroki wandering through the crowd and waved to him as he moved towards Dyakida's stall. He recognized her from one of his trips to Jauhar and hoped that she had something that could be of use to him.
"Hello, how are you today?" He said, greeting Dyakida warmly. "Might I be able to see some of your staffs, miss?"
All the while, Echowen had begun to scurry about the crowds. Rastian had been injured! He was not supposed to be wandering around! The little Sprite huffed and folded it's arms across it's chest. His best friend was nowhere to be seen! UGH! Glowing eyes scanned the crowd and locked onto another Sprite who was fluttering around the Bookie's stall. A grin formed on his face as he zipped over towards Peyla, chittering along the way.
"Hello, sister Sprite!" He chatted, fluttering his wings. "What is it that you are doing over here? People are this way!" He pointed towards the crowds before noticing the shiny coins littering the Bookie's stall. SHINIES FOR ECHOWEN! He fluttered forward and swiped a coin from the stall before the Bookie could see him. "This is for Rastian!" He chirped.

Aminah and Sathe || Standing at Dyakida's stall (post 5)
Aminah laughed at Sathe's delight with the whole situation. It was good to see her having fun here. And she could see the want in Sathe's eyes at the mention of the fish. She had heard about it from others, and was hoping to keep it a surprise, but the cat was out of the bag now. She would have to go and find one that was just perfect for Sathe when they left Dyakida's stall.
Aminah looked at the selection of staffs Dyakida had pulled out. They were intricately carved, but missing their crystal. It was odd to see them without it, but they were pretty none the less. "They look wonderful Dyakida. I'll help as best as I can." She lowered Sathe to the floor in order to take a better look at them all, and feel their weight and reaction.
Sathe smiled with delight at the compliment for her big sister. Of course Aminah would win everything! She was the best, and she was so strong with magic. She got a questioning look on her face. Did Ilyra have to stay here as well? "Why can't you watch it? Are you stuck here too?"
She nodded her head to Dyakida. Of course she would help. "You're welcome, Dyakida!" She squirmed in Aminah's arms, all ready to take off and start her job. When Aminah had let her down from her grasp, she smiled broader and jumped in place. It was harder to see what was going on behind the stall table, but she would have to make due. The fighting was about to start soon anyways, so she would be busy soon enough.
((crap. I accidentally edited the old post, so now I lost my fourth post info. Shhhhiiitttttt))

Tau || At the food stalls with Vollerei (post 5)
Tau finished off his plate with some effort. The flavor wasn't horrible, but to him it just felt like he was chewing on snot. Not something he wanted on his tongue. He smacked his lips a little, trying to get the residual feeling off of his tongue before they moved onto the next stall. "More like an Alkidike, huh? I guess they're more like war paint then than chick magnets." He shrugged his shoulders and touched his hand to his face. It felt oddly refreshing not having anything on there, though it made him feel a little naked.
He let Vollerei pay for the next stall and took the fruit pastries from the vendor. He sniffed deeply at the food, enjoying the familiar look of the bun-shaped thing and the smell was promising. "These look so much better than that goopy crud we ate at the last stall." He took a large bite out of it and sighed in relief. It was fantastic. Tau looked to Vollerei for her verdict and spoke with his mouth full. "Raiding a bandid camp? When do you have time for all of this?"
((apparently I didn't learn my lesson because I just did it again sweatdrop I'm so dumb sometimes))

Niabi || At Liira's stall (post 5)
Niabi nodded at Zuri's remark about the stall owner's furs. They were well made, from what Niabi could see at least. She had no clue about judging the quality of furs. "There are a lot here... and it was my fault really. I s-shouldn't have been t-touching at things without knowing if it would h-harm the m-materials..." Niabi had already aplogized to the girl behind the stall, but she felt the sudden urge to apologize more now that the tension was disbursed.
She returned Zuri's squeeze with her own and another 'thank you'. "I... will actually. My m-mothers thought it was a good... idea." She didn't know right now if she agreed, but if it could make her mothers happy, she would try at least.
The large Alkidike woman who had saved her had left on her way, and Niabi sighed in relief. She was so grateful. She thought that maybe if she could include the woman behind the stall again, it would make up for her earlier botch. "I a-assume you will be fighting also, Zuri. Will... you be in the t-tournament?" She directed the question toward the fur trader.

Liira || At her stall (post 5)
Liira nodded to the Alkidike. "Sure, no problem." At least this woman had manners enough, and even wished Liira luck with the stall. She didn't really know what to do with that, but muttered some sort of thanks. "Hm, yeah, pelts, thanks." She reclined in her seat once more, ready to be in peace before her fight.
But the other women had different ideas. The timid Alkidike turned to include Liira in the conversation. It was a nice gesture, but Liira didn't feel all that nice about it yet. "Yeah, I'm fighting. I need to get away from this damned stall sometime." She grumbled a bit as she spoke and continued on with the conversation. "Can't say I'm not looking forward to beating that jerk's face in with my bow." She eyed the timid Alkidike; there was no way this girl was going to go anywhere in the tournament with that attitude. She was much to wimpy to get anywhere. Liira almost wasn't sure this girl was really an Alkidike with all that she had heard about them.

Post 5 for Volle Ray and Senja are still at 4.
Vollerei
She enjoyed the bursts of delicious hot fruit jam as she bit into the pastry making nummy noises and she ate it. She also handed one to Zweil to keep him happy and to stall in screeching attempts at begging.
She smiled at Tau's comment on her people's markings being more like warpaint then.. chick magnets. Technically it was a magnet for attention, since Vollerei certainly felt that some markings looked much more attractive than others.... "Well, I certainly find some markings very attractive.. frankly without markings you just look weird.. kinda reminds me of uncooked dough.. plus you aren't green. More weirdness." She said this with a teasing grin, not meaning any harm in it. She just wanted to tease him a bit. Yeah, the earthlings looked very different, but not like he wasn't nice looking.. just odd. Vollerei hadn't quite decided if she found the oddness attractive or not.
"Mmmmmm. This is much better." She agreed while making happy noises as she ate the last of the pastry. "And I had to go raid them. They were stealing food! Food thievery is the worst crime!"
[Hijil:Stands] It had been so long since anybody had actually spoke to her that Hijil assumed they weren't. She kept watching the fight until her subconcious tapped her on the shoulder and she looked up. She hesitated, unsure of whether to say anything at all. But she did want to talk. "Yes." she said finally, turning back to the fight. It seemed like enough to say, but what if the person left? Now that she had it, she didn't want to lose it just yet, even if she didn't deserve human contact. "Do you?"

Chandra: Post 2
The young mix blood was still watching his colorful menk swim around and around the glass orb when the alkidike woman showed up. It wasn't until his brother spoke that he even tore his gaze away from the fish to look up and be wide eye'd at the sight of Jerarda. This woman was speaking to them and she was so tall!
Looking to his brother he quietly inched closer to him clutching his new pet, the new woman was intimidating, like how mommy could be when she was in one of her moods. But this was a stranger type of intimidating and he glanced to Aysurn when he piped up about the guy she was inquiring about could be her boyfriend.
Looking expectantly at her now, wondering if this could be some sort of forbidden romance, or perhaps he had broken up with her? All sorts of senario's were running through his head right now.
[Biroki: around, moving to Dyakida's stall] Ah! There he was! Biroki weaved through the crowd to join him. "There you are! I w-wanted to talk to you about..." then he recognized the stall, and the woman behind it. "D-Dyakida?" he said, surprised and almost delighted, "I didn't know you were here!" but it looked like she had set up shop. "Th-this..." he gestured, then became flustered when he remembered that she wouldn't be able to see it, "This stall... Its a good idea!" Ah, and that was... "Aminah?! Briella?! Oh wow, y-you're all here..." except for Zuri, but Zuri was somewhere. It counted. Although he had missed Ilyra's exit, he managed to notice Ilyra. Was that... an alkidike? She was so... so... pink. "uh. Hi."
[Peyla: at the bookie] Peyla looked at the other sprite with suspicion. He looked strange, he was all brown, but he had white markings. White markings were okay. [Hello!] she said, fluttering over to greet him. Maybe he could help her with her plans, [He has a lot of shinies, but he swats. I wanted to take a...] Before she could finish telling him, he stole a coin! Well! She couldn't be outdone! Following in his tailwind, she swiped another one. the bookie shouted at them both and began brandishing a stick. She held her shiny up. [He has a lot of shinies] she said, [But he's stingy and wont give me any... But he gives them away to some people and not others!] she said, [Everybody likes shinies. Everybody should have shinies, right?]
