He looked up at Shadeux with wide eyes, "Dude! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it! I didn't know that was gonna happen!" He yelled as he apologized. Well, at least we have a sunroof, he thought as he sighed.

A few moments passed when their doom room door opened and Shadeaux walked in, his clothes and hair caked in plaster and dust as he tried his best to dust himself off, grabbing the frilly apron and giving it a hard flap.
"I'm okay! I'm okay! Just... startled me a bit (lot) is all."

Ascreama stood up, feeling defenceless and still clinging to the pillow. "Vinnie.. Mel.. Guys!" She started but Melody had left before she had worked up the courage to say more. "Don't go without m-" She squeaked, but caught the words as Vinnie's face grew angrier "Uh, without helping me unpack!" finishing with a nervous laugh.
Ascreama turned back to her bags, hurrying to unpack colourful lava lamps and arranging the pillows upon the bed to make it clear the space claimed. "Yeah.. Being a passive aggressive coward will totally help you make friends with the crazed monster.." She thought, busying her mind by pinning her drawings up.

Vinnie's gaze followed Melody out the room, before snapping back to the blob ghoul. She wasn't getting anywhere this time, but instead of admitting that, she scoffed and rolled her eyes, sauntering back to the last free bed.
"Like I wanted to clean your slop off my blankets, anyway..." She sneered, dumping her bag onto her bed. She clawed through the junk until she found her diePod. She borrowed Melody's speakers and turned on some Ghoul Party on full volume, while she decorated her portion of the room with old photographs and pencil sketches. She threw a batik with a kraken motif over the comforter and smoothed it flat. If she couldn't go back to R'lyeh, she might as well make herself at home here.

The anxiety slowly left Ascreama's chest as she busied herself finding places for her belongings. She plumped all the pillows, meticulously stacked her many shoe boxes under her bed and decorated the small bedside table with as many lava lamps as it could hold. A small chest of drawers held her large collection of cheap nick-nacks, Japainese and lolita inspired boowellery and, of course, snacks.
She stood back and admired her newly transformed as the music started. But then it got louder. And louder. Mostly she just absorbed the noise but it became so loud that the waves caused Ascreama's slime to vibrate and dance. "What are you doing?!" She shouted over the din, rushing to the small table to stop lava lamps wobbling off the edge and smashing on the floor.

Meme nodded eagerly and pulled at her braces "I'm the life of the party," She said with a wink "Just let me get dressed up a bit!" She danced over to her bag and unzipped the top, leaning forwards into the case and it seemed to swallow her into it's depths. After a lot of digging around she grew too impatient to find the perfect outfit in the cluttered insides and tugged out random clothes. "This will do!" She said to herself; voice echoing around the inside of the case. She pulled a small shiny pellet out of her belt and held the colourful garments in the other hand. She threw the pellet down and POOF! the pink cloud of smoke cleared in seconds and revealed Meme was suddenly dressed in her new jumbled outfit. she mimicked Vani's 'ta-da' pose with a broad grin. "Whaddya think?"

"No sweat, bro..." JD sighed, picking a chunk of sheetrock out of Shadeaux's hair. "I'm sure we can get it fixed..."
Not sure what else to say on the matter, JD clopped across the dorm room to the bed he had chosen and opened one of his bags. He wasn't much in the ways of interior design, but he had one thing that made him feel at home... out of his bag he pulled a postcard in a picture frame and set it on the desk.
"Greetings from Asburied Park!" The postcard read in cheerful colors. He was homesick already.
"So, uh... what's your name anyway, bro?" He finally decided to inquire of the shadow boo as he set his free weights in the corner.

She walked out confidently as she felt Vinnie's glare upon her, like it would matter to her? She wasn't all just scales and fins. "Now, lets see," she whispered to herself as she walked down the hallway of the ghoul doomitories, "where are the other ghouls?" She hadn't seen Draconia, she hadn't seen Marceline, Demona didn't attend the doomitories, where could they all be? "Hm, I wonder if any of the boos have arrived yet," she asked herself as she walked, adjusting her glasses, "I just need to remember where they are located."

"Yeah, sorry again," he chuckled nervously, "if I feel up your shadows, I should at least know your name," he grinned trying to make the best out of an awkward situation. He clomped over to his bed and sat down, brushing off the dust from his leg fur.

Vinnie paused the music, and clicked her tongue behind her tendrils. This blob ghoul wasn't going to let up... And maybe it was the homesickness taking grip, but she was feeling honest for a moment.
"Can't help it." She sighed. "R'lyehians don't have the best sense of hearing... mostly considering our ears are... not really there... I'd wear fearbuds otherwise."
She turned the music back on, albeit at a more modest volume.

"Greetings from Asburied Park!" The postcard read in cheerful colors. He was homesick already.
"So, uh... what's your name anyway, bro?" He finally decided to inquire of the shadow boo as he set his free weights in the corner. Felix Faun "Yeah, sorry again," he chuckled nervously, "if I feel up your shadows, I should at least know your name," he grinned trying to make the best out of an awkward situation. He clomped over to his bed and sat down, brushing off the dust from his leg fur. "Shake it daddy."
Shadeaux said as he slipped his shades off and squinted his eyes tightly to keep any light from really causing him discomfort. He wiped the shades on his shirt and then slipped them on again, and they were caked even worse with dust and specks.
He sighed.
"Yeah. Like that's any better."
He slipped his journal from his back pocket and dropped it in his dresser before turning to his two roomies.
"Oh, Shadeaux's my gig. Shadeaux Gloom. The Sackman's my old man. Or Shad, for short. My friends call me Shad."
He looked back and forth between them and shrugged.
"What? I have friends."

"I uh... didn't doubt you." JD shifted as he tried to make sense of what Shad had said. "You can call me JD, man. My pop's the Jersey Devil... east ghost!" He pumped his fist in the air, proudly. He then resumed unpacking, setting up his laptop on his reserved desk. Slicing open a cardboard box with the point of his forked tail, he fished out his casketball and casually dribbled it while he perused his gorentation letter one more time.
"So, uh..." JD tossed the casketball slightly and began spinning it on the tips of his fingers. "I'm not the the only new guy in this doom, right? Either of you been going to this school already?"

Shad sat back on his bed and pulled his beret off and gave it a toss onto the bed's corner post.
"Nah, home ghouling was my trip. Then I started to formally apprentice under my old man and he decided it'd help if I got some schooling out in the real world. So here I am. Not sure why he had me join the dooms though. All it takes for me to go home is a trip in the closet -- if I'm lucky."
Shad looked back and forth between them and then leaned in with his hand cupped to his mouth in a conspiratorial whisper.
"I take a wrong turn every now and then."
