L'inglesou found himself falling in beside his sister. So he had two more brothers and one of them had five children...It made him feel behind, in some way lacking. They had lives and children, though none of them stayed with a mate.
He wondered what two of those children could have done to deserve banishment, but he lamented asking Mar'li. He'd had a long absence from her, the way they use to talk together was not as easily done. He was more a stranger than a brother.
He had not realized how much he had missed his family until now. But to bring Nessie to them would be near impossible. And he would not leave her.
So his mother wanted to make some kind of bond. It made sense. He listened to his sister's murmmered bidding and wondered if she meant to rejoin his people.
Lukou nudged him, and he smiled at her. "Got your eyes on someone girl?" He couldn't help but smile at her. She was a bit more carefree than the rest of them. "Don't let your grandmother make you not take a mate, when you find a good one..." He trailed off thinking of Nessie.

One would assume that one could get up to all sorts of hijinks in a crowd this large and firmly get away with it. Lethe's hardened ice blue eyes took in the amassing of Soquili and scowled very slightly. Chatter, via the word of bats had made its way to the place she called home and her little bat friend had translated the message. Her eyes narrowed as she realized her chance to possibly do the job that Barracus had groomed her for. The purewalker had taken her in and raised her at his side, twisting her thoughts and slipping grand ideas deep down in her soul.
Without the gift of added insanity 'walkers seemed to possess Lethe had been so thoroughly brainwashed to follow any command Barracus would issue. As she strolled forth Lethe set her grimace into a more neutral expression as she milled around with the newest arrivals. Her features gave her an exotic look and the claws on her feet could easily be mistaken for a harpy.

She won't cause trouble but Lethe is a very troubled mare
(( If anyone from Lethe's family line wants to interact with her ... feel free ))
Lukou shook her head and turned her attention to the walk before them. "There is a stallion or two I have been around with...but I don't know if I'll settle with either of them forever..." She said thoughtfully, bringing up both faces in her mind. "They both unique in their own ways...but I believe they both have their own plans and those plans don't involve me forever." The young mare said with a final nod.
"So I guess I'll be like mother, if I have any heirs they will be raised in the swamp with the rest of us. Unless of course grandmother banishes them...I'm surprised she hasn't done the same to Rokh'jin yet. After all...something is awfully strange about her."
Guedes' eyes widened slightly in surprise upon seeing her true eldest son approaching the group. He was one she did not expect to see again, least of all at such a gathering. Upon finishing her brief talk with Malis, the older mare proceeded towards her other son. "L'inglesou. It be a joy t' be seein' ye again." She said, looking him up and down.
"Ye haven't changed since ye left. Will ye be returnin' to th' swamp after this?" She asked, giving him an almost judgmental look. She didn't expect him to return home anytime soon, but the old mare often found her thoughts drifting to trying to drag back all of her children to one place.
Mar'li fell silent once more, lowering her head as her mother spoke. She swore she could sense some bitterness that her brother had been led away from the swamp. However, she wasn't about to dare open her mouth and say anything that would take away her rightful position being next in line to take over the family.

A familiar, but strange scent caught in Rokh'jin's nose. It reminded her of her father, but it was off. Something wasn't right about it.
Just the way she liked it.
A wicked grin crossed the mare's face again as she sought out the source of the scent. Her gaze fell upon Lethe not long after. She looked the other mare up and down carefully, taking note of the bat she was also carting around, her own sleeping among the branches that entangled her neck.
"You. Mare. You are familiar...but different. You look as if you don't belong, like myself. You look...like you seek trouble." She said, smirking.

Lethe had been busy trying to pick out possible targets to try to lure out of the group in order to isolate them. She would then start in on her idea of corrupting an innocent soul. Lethe hummed eagerly in pleasure as her eyes drifted from potential target to potential target. The level of intensity in her gaze lingered on a couple before she shook her head quietly. To work on a couple one would need a partner. Lethe sadly had no one that she knew around these parts.
It was at that moment that Lethe found herself being addressed directly by another mare. Claws tore at the ground before Lethe brought her gaze to rest on the one who dared to intrude on her musing. However the challenge she was bursting to issue died as she took in the stranger. A tree that wrapped around a slender neck was the first sight that Lethe found her gaze drawn to. Next was the little bat that seemed so content to rest there. Lethe gathered this in before her gaze swept down to the creature on her back. They appeared similar. The scent the other mare carried mirrored her own a little and Lethe paused as she let the words register. "Hmm, even though you don't know me you too seem familiar. How this can be I do not wish to know at the moment. You say you seek out trouble; can I tease a further explanation from you as to how you wish to go about this?"
-As with the voodoo clan, if you wish to RP quote me please :3-
Red eyes scanned the crowd, looking for a place to move in and settle into for the evening's affairs. He had heard of the gathering from a few passers by and figured going would be a healthy option to getting his daughter back out into the world and sociable. He could only stand to see her move silently about their field for so long.
Al'ar nodded to himself once he located a spot down by the water and turned to look at the two following him. "Ciro, Melon, this way. We will spend our time here until everything properly begins." He called, descending down towards the river.
The younger stallion smiled and picked up the pace to catch up. He was constantly finding himself distracted with everyone they passed. There were so many interesting and unique faces there. It pleased him to know that so many really existed in the world outside their tiny field. He had to know more!
"Hello." Melon mumbled, albeit happily, to each Soquili he had to pass close to.
Ciro frowned slightly as she followed after her father and son. She didn't really want to spend the day among so many. It tore at her mind constantly that she would run into her ex-mate and things would just go downhill from there. She felt safe back in the field, visiting with a stallion she had just begun to open up to. Nevertheless she trudged along in silence behind him. Just as she had done the entire journey there. She saw no reason to speak for the time being.
Until a bright flash of color flew over her head and beyond the river. It reminded her so much of her father that she briefly believed it was him. Ciro paused to watch the bright stallion land across the river with two others. One of which she never thought she'd see again.
"Mother--?!" The mare cried out, charging past her father and son and spreading her wings. With a leap she took to the air and surged across the river, coming to a rather rough landing between the stallions and nearly slamming into Aleera herself.

Rokh'jin grinned when she got a response from the other mare and glanced around them. "There are many here, easy targets from foals to the elderly." She hummed, stepping closer to circle Lethe briefly. "Perhaps just stir up a bit of fun, excitement, it's far too crowded to...take any out." She mused, giving Lethe another look.
"Yourself? You look as if your mind is up to no good as well."

The cry from across the water never normally would have caused the crossbreed to flinch. But the sudden flurry of wingbeats from feathered wings that rapidly approached caused him to turn, only to nearly be bowled over by a brightly coloured mare that then nearly smacked into his mother! Indignation and cool fury glinted in his eyes, the cried word not having made sense to him just yet.
"Watch it, featherbrain!" Ae'ilvainyx snapped, voice crackling and rumbling in their immediate vicinity, snaking his head out to give the foolish mare a well-deserved snap to her rump after surging forwards!
A voice that rang with familiarity streaked amongst the wind, causing the stallion that mimicked the height of day and deep sunset to jerk. His sister? Here?! Great Spirits it had been so long! She sounded panicked, though, which worried him. Caught in his own reverie he was nearly blindsided by the mare as he swept around in a tight circle to look.
"Whoa!" Adelis cried, slipping backwards quickly, his tail rolling back beneath his body before his eyes widened. Ae'ilvainyx didn't know! And certainly, Adelis wasn't about to let his younger brother hurt his sister. Leaping forward to intercept, he warded the young crossbreed off with his ears flattening against his head for the moment, though there was no malice in his stance. Just protectiveness. "Ae'ilvainyx, it's fine. It's our sister. You've never met her. Relax. You're causing a stir."
Golden ears twitched. The cry for a mother tore at her heart, and it didn't take Aleera long to realize []why her heart constricted in her chest. In fact, she knew as soon as the voice lifted into the air. Ciro. Her daughter. Spinning to the sound of the voice that cried out for her, the palomino mare searched the sky with the incoming wingbeats, but it wasn't long before her daughter that could nearly pass for her own double to land and almost slam into her. Aleera sprang back a pace or two and then immediately swept forwards, ignoring the two boys considering Adelis had things handled.
"Ciro!" Tears stung Aleera's eyes. She'd been neglectful as a mother, and that fact weighed heavily on her soft heart. But she extended her wings, coaxing her daughter's head beneath her cheekbone, curling her feathered appendages around her daughter to shield her, considering her distress was tangible. "Oh Ciro..."
Words couldn't express how sorry she was at this moment. Dual-coloured eyes raised to peer across the river, to where her daughter had come from, fully expecting to see those that were completely unfamiliar to her. But it turned out, only one was. The other...was Al'ar. Her eyes softened before she ducked her muzzle into her daughter's mane and soothed her with a warm breath.
Just like she used to when Ciro was just a tiny little filly.
Pamuya after having sung it twenty times, in a row finally, stopped singing her silly song. The brightly colored mare, attempted to think of another song to sing. She had been singing in order to keep herself occupied, but the first song was starting to be redundant and wasn't amusing her at all. Therefore, she was attempting to find think of another one.
In her excitement over leaning of this huge event she had neglected to see if she could fine anyone she knew to travel on the journey with her. Perhaps if she had looked around she would have found one of her family members or a friend to go with her. The young mare mentally kicked herself for not doing do before moving along towards the festival
The sound of rushing water farther up the path caused her to perk up again. She swiftly galloped towards it. It would provide a cool drink and perhaps someone else would be there.
Skyla blushed, "Thank you" she said, a little shy of so much praise. "Oh.. i don't know if i'll join in, i can, if i'm wanted" she said, leaning close to WR and closing her eyes at the closeness of her mate. "Ooooooh STORYTELLING?" she asked, eyes flying open excitedly now, she loved stories, she could sing a story if she was asked but she couldn't THINK of one at the moment, maybe she could make one up later after listening for a while.
"you should tell a story Rabbit, i think you'd be great" she said to her mate, smiling lovingly at him, she didn't mind if he did or not, it was enough that he was there, with her and there was a party going on. Everything was good right now.

His ears twitched lightly at the two and swivelled as he talked.

Without fanfare Kaz made his way into the forest of the Vitterfolk. This was the setting of his bedtime stories and it looked now as magical as he had always imagined it to be. The gathering had already swelled and he could see all sorts of Soquili mingling about. He scanned through the crowd, looking for the typical blues, reds and purples of the Vitterfolk clan.
Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a large mare that stood out amongst the group. She towered over many others and her firey red hair set her apart even from this distance. Kaz couldn't be sure who this mare was but it was certain she was a troll. He approached the small group that hovered around her, staying back a few paces to listen to their conversation. Now that he was here, he wasn't sure how to introduce himself.

It had been somewhat of a challenge to get Vesper to leave their garden home, but Ellion thought it would be good for his mother to have an outing while his father was away. It had been some time since his sister had returned home to visit but Ellion knew it was hard for Vesper to have an empty nest. He didn't live far and tried to visit every few days to keep her company while Erynion was out and about.
Ellion had always been particularly close to his mother, since foalhood he had sensed something off about her. She was innocent and sweet with a childlike effervescence that often proved unnerving for those around her. Vesper was a grown mare on the outside and was certainly capable of adult emotions and decisions at times, but she had always been a child at heart. No one in their family was quite sure what had trapped Vesper in that mentality but Ellion didn't think it mattered. He found his mother's quirks both enchanting and embarrassing at times and he loved her, regardless of her past.
They had walked most of the way to the celebration, Vesper was a hopeless flyer and the few times they had attempted to take to the air she had promptly crashed into the first tree, bush, or stream that presented itself. Ellion wasn't used to the exertion and his legs were feeling tired and sore as they wearily penetrated the diverse group of soqiuli gathered in the Vitterfolk territory.
Vesper stuck close to her sons side as they moved through the river of strangers that had come together for the storytelling celebration, their bells chiming and jingling in unison. Ellion had been taller than her for quite some time now, but she still had a mother's protective instincts. It was so strange to see him out and about, grown into his own person, living on his own, it made her nervous, and she was always surprised by how big he had grown when he returned for a visit, no matter how brief a time it had been since she'd seen him last. The moment he left her sight she imagined him as the tiny sprightly colt that had stolen her heart the moment she saw him. She loved her daughter Losille with equal ferocity but she had always been daddy's little girl and Vesper didn't begrudge Erynion and Losille for their special bond.
Ellion had always been hers though, he had spent long hours in the garden with her as she chattered to her flowers and tended to their needs, had listened earnestly to her stories and rants, played silly games with her when she was feeling frivolous, and cuddled next to her every night for bed. It meant the world to her that he still visited, that he would nag and bother her until she agreed to leave the safe familiarity of her home and travel with her to a rare event such as this.
Her translucent wingtips fluttered wildly as her head swiveled this way and that to take in the sights. She squeezed her eyes closed and smiled, enjoying the sunlight playing across her face. It was abe autiful day, she leaned over and nuzzled Ellion affectionately, "This was a wonderful idea!" she exclaimed, her small face lit with a giddy smile.

Ferret WAS excited, the messenger had come by her very small family herd and told them of some sort of celebration going on so Ferret, being Ferret decided she wanted to go investigate. She'd been practically bouncing the whole way "Party party we're going to a party!" she sing-songed, anyone would think she was an exciteable young foal but she was an adult, with grown up boys of her own. "C'mon boys! we don't want to miss the party! it's going to be fun!" she called over her shoulder "RACE YA!" she yelled, and without warning took off in a run towards the gathering.
Gyrfalcon lagged behind a little, keeping an eye on his brother, making sure the distractable young stallion didn't go and get himself lost in this new territory. He hadn't been as excited about the party as his mother but he did enjoy a good time, He smiled as he watched his mother bound away, thankfully they were near enough to the gathering so that they couldn't lose her "You always beat us mom!" he called, chuckling to himself as he brought up the rear behind his brother and his father and mother.
Mithra had been walking beside his mate, Ferret, had been. But now he was much father behind as his mate blew past him in her attempt to rile everyone up for the event. Shaking his head calmly he smiled after his mate with a chuckle. "Darn.. Looks like you beat me again." He'd tease Ferret when he caught up to her in a nonchalant fashion. The large wolf/dog like soquili murmured happily to her.
Had been attentive for sometime since they had heard about the event. Along the way to the event he had stopped to look at flowers to only get nipped in the behind by his brother. Or tail pulled. He had caught right on to Ferret and went to race his mother.... But then a butterfly fluttered by him, and he moved slowly while staring at it beside Gyrfalcon. When they got to the gathering Peska watched as the butterfly landed on a tree. And then his eyes caught the glimpse of shiny and noticed the field of shiny pretty horses and his ADD flared badly. His eyes scanning over one, then another would move. After awhile Peska decided it was best to just look at his hooves or stare at the sparklelies his brother had on his feather from their grandfather.

Ferret giggled, She loved to have fun, she truly was a foal at heart when it came to seeing the world. She loved her boys with a passion, and angeni forbid anyone that messed with any of them. BUT today was about a party.. partypartyparty Ferret was as distraced and excited as Peska, she darted about, looking at one curious Soquili to the next until she realised she'd left Mithra behind. She ventured back to him "I promised we'd stay together here didn't i?" she said with a grin on her face then nipped at Mithra's braid, she wanted him to get wrapped up in the excitement "isn't it GREAT! Mithra, look there's even a little singer" she said, pointing towards a brightly colored Usdia singing away.
Gyr smiled, his brother was enjoying himself. He'd been about to race alongside his sibling and mother but Peska slowed to watch a butterfly, distracted again. Gyr didn't mind, He watched amused as Peska saw the pretties in the main area of the gathering, chuckled as his brother went from one shiny/pretty thing to another before stopping and looking between his hooves and Gyr's feather. Gyr was pleased he'd inherited that feather at times since it helped Peska keep focus on him "Peska, i'm right behind you, go enjoy yourself, Mom and dad said we're to meet them back at that small clearing about a mile back... when it got dark or we got tired.... remember?" he said softly, giving his brother a gentle nudge. "C'mon, let's go have some fun"
Mitha chuckled and nodded, "Yes.. yes you did dear." But he didn't mind watching her walk around and be excited. He wondered if Ferret had any family here aside from himself and their sons. Looking at the two doing their own thing Mithra merged into the group with Ferret. "It is a rather splendid sight to see Ferret." He agreed with her. Looking over and seeing a young singing Usidia he'd smile to White Rabbit, the pesky little guy near her. But was he was to endorsed with Skyla.
--
Peska looked at Gyr he opened his mouth to retort but then he nodded. "I suppose you're right Gyr." He was a very intellectual sort when he put his mind to it. It was just that he was so wowed and distracted by new surroundings that he didn't have the attention span all the time for it. He moved with his brother until he came upon some of the Mamaha Voodoo-like mares. His eyes scanning their interesting marks and sorts. But shortly he'd press on and see the crowd. Peska wasn't overly shy but he liked to stare. Until something else would catch him. "It's weird seeing different customs for different herds and families." He'd muse to his brother.
