The night was turning out different than what the young college student had expected. Blue and green eyes stared quietly at the other, taking in the sight of beauty before them. Too bad the night wouldn't go the extra mile as her intoxicated self had hoped. Shobei pouted, she could feel Re-L's petite body slightly shake underneath her. The student cursed inwardly at being too forward to her roommate and dear friend. Her approach with females and males alike were always like this. Taking initiative if not dominating half the time and was met with positive responses. But Re-L was different, nervous. Even her speech took in a more hesitant undertone that lead Shobei to raise her body up till she swung herself slowly off the bed to stand. ' Darn alcohol. ' Shobei thought in frustration. The last thing she wanted to do was cross a line or make Re-L feel uncomfortable. Then again, if her roommate didn't want to shower with her then a simple 'no' would have surfaced by now.
Shobei offered Re-L a hand to get up off the bed as she nodded head towards their shared bathroom. " What I meant to say...uh. We can keep our bra and panties on, like bikinis right? We can talk about the party and I need to make sure you don't slip or anything. You did drink quite a lot. " Excuses, excuses. Still, she didn't want to pass the opportunity to get in the water with Re-L. It was private and intimate. No loud music, no drunken idiots trying to hit on them. They could stand or sit in the water, actually hear each other talk instead of yelling over the music and just focus on each other. After a long night it was nice just to spend time with someone you cared for even if nothing physical transpired. She felt connected to Re-L after the past couple weeks of school and living together, that's what mattered. Their shared glances and smiles as they walked to class or quietly studied in the library, all of that felt special.
Shobei clasped Re-L's hand and gently pulled her off the bed and to her feet. Now standing face to face, Shobei made sure to keep her hand wrapped around Re-L's until she was certain that her roommate was stable on her own. She then slowly let go of her hand and lead the way to the bathroom, opening the door and walking midway. " I'll be here whenever you're ready. " She nodded to Re-L then entered, leaving the door open. Her intention was to give Re-L some time and privacy to do as she pleased, whether to strip and join her or to change her mind. Shobei wouldn't mind either way. The night felt complete after they both were able to express themselves.
