Ruby was inside the circle right next to Zoltan, but not for long. Dorian protection spell literally lifted her off her feet and tossed her out of the pentagram. Black flames formed around Maues making his practically untouchable. A Fallen lingered right above Ruby when she landed in the hard grainy dirt patch area. The creature hissed with joy or so she assumed as it got ready to penetrate her torso with its bone like claws. The girl happened to see his shadow shading her and was able to roll out of the way avoiding the attack. The Fallen's claw dug into the dig allowing Ruby the time to separate her guns and shot the monster right between the eyes. Like Claudia, ninety percent of the time the girls' aims are accurate but there are the rare occasions when they miss. Ruby couldn't help think about how much of a tool Dorian was to Zoltan, but the male was probably to brainwashed that he would never notice. Once Zoltan completes his plan...if he succeeds that is, Dorian will be at his mercy. He toss the apprentice away like an old shoe when he no longer proves to be useful, or to her understanding that's how these things work.
Barriers from the blonde appear to reassure that nothing would interrupt their pointless arrangement. Claudia figured Alexis would give up naturally and return to whatever she was doing to be helpful in the fight. The blonde was only left in the arcane barriers for a minute before they disappeared as their creator soared through the skies. It almost seemed like the magic user was abandoning the fight entirely, but she was trying to get above the canopy probably for better aim. Claudia didn't need such assistance because she knew she could handle these worthless Fallen at their own level. To bad her partner is in a state of unconsciousness to help her out, however, she can fend for herself just fine.
Taking out one golden arrow and loading it, she ran towards the enemies and began stabbing them with the spear tip. One small touch or contact with the light made the creatures withe in fear or they were simply vaporized. The light destroyed their molecular structures, as the Doctor puts it, making it impossible for them to regenerate. A Fallen foolishly encountered the blonde and swung its claw at her, well in this case right above her. She bent her body back at the last minute limboing under the claw. She erected herself and maneuvered to the back of the creature killing him effortlessly and a few of his little buddies. She had to release the arrow at some point so once she had made an open area, she leaded into the air shooting the arrow into the ground. Much like the shadow magic, light seeped out from the source and whatever unfortunate Fallen touched it they would die, of course. It was a rather fitting end for the beasts.
Alexis' plan soon broke through as a mass of creatures surrounded Ruby. The girl hadn't been holding up well through the whole battle and it seemed she consistently needed to be rescued. The girl energy had been depleted from way earlier even though she had time to rest, but it was't enough to rejuvenate her entire being. The stars shined brightly as missiles from her one true friend put an end to some of the Fallen around her, others she shot herself with fire bullets. It was sort of an artificial source of pure light, and yet it caught the beasts off guard just as well. "GO, ALEXIS!"Ruby shouted in praise, however, the her bullet may have drowned out her voice. In any case, she shot a fire bullet into the air for Alexis to show that she did care or hoped that her companion would perceive it that way.
The illuminated stars were enough to distract the Fallen which gave Laxion and Claudia an opportunity to attack Dorian. The shady male had placed all of his attention into his master leaving himself unprotected. Laxion used a metallic rope from his weapon as a bow string. He pulled it taught between two trees and joked about her packing an over-sized arrow. She could conjure one, but it would literally take the rest of her energy to do so. The shadomancer cleared a path once more and then scaled the tree once she got to it. After she was near the bow string, she muttered some words while gesturing hand motions. Slowly but surely, a transparent shadow arrow was created to epic portions. Use the last of the golden lit arrows she conserved, she touched the shadow arrow transferring the light from the small arrow into the larger one. If this arrow stuck Dorian or any of the Fallen, they would be one from this world with no chance of returning. The boy had placed himself in front of Zotlan and if they were lucky, they would be killing two birds with one stone.
The albino noticed the glowing gigantic arrow at the corner of her eye. She knew where it was aiming towards and she needed to evacuate the area before she got hit. Luckily, most of the Fallen were widely spread out so she was able to make it into Adi's light barrier with ease.
Claudia gave a look to Laxion and without wasting time loosened the arrow. The girl lost her balance and fell to her knees, while grabbing onto the tree branch she was standing on.

Adi didn't realize the screaming was coming from her till she had to take a breath and another scream was ripped from her throat. Whatever the young man was doing, whatever forced he was attacking her golden shield with was literally painful. With every black ghostly fanged shadow blobs came at the shield it bounced off but not after she felt like she had been struck against the head with a mallet. Crying out, she still tried to maintain the shield and as a headache grew, it became considerably more difficult. Plus holding Nyru protectively as well as the orb that glowed with the barrier. Seeing as the object of considerable interference, Dorian enjoyed the sounds of the Gypsy's screams; the grin on his face at every cry was proof of that. However, begrudgingly, he was not able to fully enjoy the sight of it. He ended up having to face and protect those that would have attacked his master, though he wasn't particularly worried. The ritual had to be completed and that was the task, Dorian was given. The Fallen helped with that, and he was very glad to have them. Attacks flew and light flashed. Fallen creatures fell, some to be replaced with others from the fog, others did not. But hearing the crying out of names, Dorian kept his eyes on those that were actually planning something, and that was the one male fighter that was conscious and the blonde Shadowmancer. They were up to something and with time and watching, Dorian soon learned what. Their idea of a giant light infused arrow was smart, perhaps a little too much. They were however strategizing now, not just stupidly rushing blindly forward. Above him, an attack like falling stars came and that giant arrow came next. With a wave of his hand the sparkle of stars was blocked with a shadow layer of black swirling looking gases. In a curved formation it acted like an umbrella, not much unlike the Gypsy's shield, however, not fully. A mad grin on his face, Dorian was ready for that strike and when it did, he did not dodge or run way, no he ran toward it. "You'll have to try harder then that pests!" he cried and a black wall looking to be shadow however, to dense to be that alone, Dorian halted the arrow in its path outside the pentagram. With a leap and graceful roll in the air right after the wall blocked the giant spear, the apprentice came down on it, using his own weight to force the glowing tip into the earth and never touching the ritual. Perched atop the weapon and would be attack, the grin remained. "This is a barely a warm up for me...you all look rather spent."◑__________________△__________________◐

The arrow was soaring through the air like a giant phoenix, the brightness of it burning the eye-holes of each Fallen on the ground. It came closer and closer to Dorian and Zoltan, and Laxion gasped for a second as he waited in anticipation! Then he was filled with angst as the giant spear-like arrow stabbed an unholy wall and was placed tip first in the ground after. The stars around them still pummeled down ont he remaining Fallen, none of them able to stand up from the weight thrust down upon them from Alexis. None of it getting to Dorian though, his unholy umbrella keeping him more than protected. He then beckoned them, and Laxion felt the pain, the ache. He looked around at them and they were all exhausted. Adi, painfully keeping the barrier up, Nyru unconscious, himself out of breathe and Alexis' rain of stars becoming less and less potent.
And then the funnel of flames around Zoltan pulsed with a bright light, the flames enlarged like beating hurt once. Laxion looked over the mess and watched in awe, he only hoped that it wasn't too late. And then the flames burst open and dissipated, as if there was no more oxygen for the black fire to breathe and died out. On the floor, crouched was Zoltan Maues, a dagger made of bone piercing the floor and the pentagram. Now, the Underworld could no longer interrupt, he had absorbed that too. The ritual... was complete. The area fell silent, he was breathing heavily and tugged the bony blade from the filth of the ground. He then stood up, looking at the ground, listening to the only screams that could be heard from the Fallen under Alexis' star-fall. His shoulders hung like a rag-doll until he whipped his arm round and threw the dagger, it hit her arcane platform with a screech as she fell through and the stars stopped. Laxion cushioned her fall though, with a gust of soft air beneath her back before she touched the ground. "Alexis!" he cried, running over to her, to comfort her, but she got up and brushed herself down, wiped the tears away and scoured at Zoltan int he distance.
Maues had slowly walked over to Dorian with a deathly weight upon his shoulders, and then he spoke up, saying "No need to give me what i want, Alexis, but if you're so pleased with me i won't stop you". He then looked up and his eyes were glowing blue, with a misty blue essence drifting from them, presumably the twilight of all the moons that were now beginning to recede back into the clouds, finally. But none of them vanished, they all stayed there. "I'll kill you" she said, across the way, watching the very few remaining Fallen get up and crawl towards Zoltan. "Don't lie, Alexis Truesvale" he then blinked as the essence in his eyes vanished and turned back to their yellow, usual self. The wizard scowled at him, she hated him, more than anything else or anyone else before. Zoltan put a hand through his hair as it fell back into place, he then looked at Dorian from the side, and then sighed. It was more a sigh of exhaustion, though it was obvious he was more than ready for a war. It was his posture though, his mannerisms, his tone of speaking, it made him feel in control, like there wasn't a single thing that was a secret here.
Nyru then was somehow behind Adi, and placed a hand on her shoulder to tell her not to worry about the barrier anymore, he can defend her from now, not the other way around. "You can't tell me im lying, im certain of what I'm going to do"
"But you're not, you can't promise anything like that so early on. That's exactly what your father did"
"Alexis!" shotued Laxion as he held her back, she then screamed "and i'll continue his promise! How could you?!"
"he didn't understand the purpose of the expedition-"
"you lied to him! And he tried to do what's right and you killed him!"
"He stopped me from doing what's right".
Then a portal opened behind Dorian and Zoltan, where two men dressed in typical arcaz robes, now tattered, and out-dated, walked out. They didn't say anything, they looked a little dazed if anything but Alexis realised how their clothing was almost ten years old. Alexis looked at the people, and then at Dorian and Zoltan again. "Are-are they your servants?! The people that did it?.." she then ebgan to break down, she knew all too well what kind of portal thatwas, it was a time portal. Amongst her tears she managed to say "i loved him... and you just used him, owned him until he was worthless"
"but isn't that what love is, Alexis? Owndership? As the bible goes 'i am my beloved's and my beloved is mine' as it goes"
"don't quote the bible at me, you don't get it" Alexis retaliated, heartlessly. "it's not that someone belongs to you, it's that you give yourself to them, and i doubt you've ever given anything to anyone"
"except maybe nightmares" added Laxion, holding Alexis close. Then Zoltan replied with a grin "To give yourself to someone? Like you have the 'arcane magics'"
"what?"
"You think i havn't observed you? Ever since slaying that greater demon? You've declared yourself tot he so called pure magic oft he sovereignty, and i didn't see you joining Team Elixer because you wanted to make friends" and then she froze. "that-that sn't true..."
"of coarse it is. All three of you only joined for the pointlessness of power, of respect. To become 'the greatest' i believe you'll find, Alexis"
He always had an answer, and he was never wrong, Alexis did join to become a better wizard, she didn't really care for the people to begin with, but after meeting them she's cared for them, and wants more than to become the ebst wizard of all time, she wants a life. But right now her old goals of avenging ehr father are coming back stronger and stronger. But Zoltan didn't seem like anything would defeat him. And they only had so much time before all the moons would vanish and end the ritual, at least for the moment Zoltan was recoveing. But now, it seemed like it was time for talk, not fighting. Alexis was mortified, speechless, and then Zoltan turned his shooting mouth to Adi, saying "I tried my best with you, you know. I wanted you to join me... but i suppose i was right in not asking you. Instead i just used you to spy"
"that's right" he said after a moments pause. "I knew exactly where you were, when you were. But you took that coin so graciously, and you never spent it. Was it that you wanted to keep me close to you? Couldn't bare to let our small meeting flutter away?"
He hadn't gotten to speaking to Claudia or Nyru yet. Or Ruby for that matter.

Claudia and Laxion's efforts seemed like they weren't going to go to waste, but Dorian proved to be a more reliable villain than they had anticipated. He stopped the arrow with nothing, but a wall of shadows and his own weight even though the man probably didn't weight a feather. The blonde was for the most part exhausted and hanging on to the branch was starting to prove to be difficult. Her partner was being shielded by Adi in his unconscious state as the girl screamed in pain. It was tormenting to listen to her because it sounded like her body was being tore to pieces. It was similar to the way En'radial was writhing in pain towards the end. That unbearable noise reached her ears and kept ringing in them until she covered them. This made the shadowmancer wobble a bit on her support beam, but not by much because even in a weakened state the girl maintained excellent balance.
Ruby saw the flash of the golden arrow fly and then after that she didn't know. She had to shield her eyes from the sensitive blast from within the barrier. The blacked haired female beside her was screaming because of the Fallen around from earlier tried to break through. The albino watched as the fire that surrounded Zoltan began to glow. For a minute, she thought victory was in their hands only to be mistaken by the sudden appearance. The black flames vanished, and the cocky but intelligent male decided to give everyone his good graces. He used a bone shaped blade, possibly from his own body, and penetrated the pentagram. Was this part of his plan? Was he fueling the incantation with his own energy? Ruby knew for a fact that she wasn't going to receive an answer for those questions anytime soon.
Alexis was still proceeding forwards with her falling star attacks wiping out what little Fallen were left on the battlefield. The massive golden arrow may have not stuck Dorian, but it vaporized most of the Fallen and that was for certain. Suddenly, Maues hit Alexis' arcane platform in one fatal swoop sending the girl plummeting towards the earth. Ruby's eyes widened in horror and she was unable to produce a sound. Luckily, Laxion caught her with his wind magic to cushion her blow to the ground. He was a true hero, unlike her who just stood back watching her best friend fall helplessly through the air. Zoltan then resulted to taunting her knowing that anything they say he would be able to retort from it. Thinking of a witty coming back to kick them down more than they already were. He had won this battle no doubt because he had all the time in the world to chit-chat. Alexis wanted more than anything to pulverize him with what little strength she had left, but Laxion forbid her from it. She would have done the same.
More surprised seemed to come their way because now a portal opened behind the two dark males out of nowhere. Two men exited the Time Slip, dressed in funny clothing that was from this era. Ruby was confused, however, Alexis and Maues would perhaps enlighten her on the subject. The two out-dated men had some kind of connection to her companion's father and Zoltan doted on the matter until switching his tactics. He even tried to use religion to justify his own means! Sick...was nothing seared to him? When he brought up that team elixer joined together for their own purposes, Ruby couldn't deny that he was correct. Although, exceptions changed and just like her teammates she grew to care and love them more than anything in this universe had to offer. She would gladly give up wanting to know how she truly is, if it meant spending another day with them.
Turning to Adi, he felt it was her turn to be chewed up and spit out. The two had met before, not be accident of course, but he had an item of his that he used against her. Ruby and Claudia were shocked to say the least. Nyru was up now, but whether he heard anything or not remains to be unnoticed since he always retained his unfaltering posture. Maues was wrong, and Ruby couldn't stand idly by to listen to him talk. She still had some energy left to spare and didn't intend of wasting it. She placed her guns together, unconcealed the blade, and stepped out of the portal strolling over to Zoltan. "Your some great wizard, Zoltan even though you couldn't simply trick an old man or defeat Alexis the first time we met. I even got you a couple of times, but I will admit I was scared of you. However, your fear over me don't stop me from protecting my friends! You'll leave them alone if you know what's good for you!" She lifted her sword ready to take action.

For Dorian, seeing the exhaustion and the disappointment that they tried so hard to only fail now, well it gave him a sense of pride and ego boast. So effortlessly he managed to thwart them all, it had been too long since he had used his powers to this extent. Dorian was motivated even more to open the book his mentor had given him.
Seeing the flume of flames burst out and then extinguish into nothing, the apprentice knew his Master was finished. And sure enough there he was, so leaping down from his perch he waited as the others did, but for completely different reasons. Zoltan spoke and Dorian remained quiet, and catching the tired glances of his Mentor easily, however well aware such a thing wouldn't stop him. In the off chance of it doing so, he was there to keep Zoltan safe.
Dorian only paying part attention to the new arrivals they had been anticipating, When Zoltan turned to the Gypsy he made sure to pay attention.
Adi herself, not sure when, or what was going on, was still maintaining the barrier out of sure will and habit. She never noticed when Nyru had woken and moved, but a hand on her shoulder made her start and broke what fragile concentration she had left. Like a whoosh of air leaving one's lungs, the barrier broken down like shattering glass only it was silent. Rur'Adika's world spun and swayed but she managed to stay awake and vertical, however, unsure how that would last.
His verbal sparing match with Alexis which he was winning, allowed Adi some time to get to her feet with Nyru's help, the orb now clutched in her hand the size of a small ball. But Zoltan's attention on her now, well her tired head shot up. Mortified and angered, she glared daggers and then some with her warm chocolate gaze.
She would have spoke had it not been for Ruby interrupting whatever she may have said.
"Put it away Ruby...its what he wants to antagonize you into doing something rash...it's his way clearly," she droned with spite and temper. "So don't be so full of yourself 'Michael'," she hissed out using the name he had used to introduce himself. "You peeked my curiosity, as I did yours or you would never have used me the way you had," words challenging and calling him out, Adi tilted her tired chin up, taking slightly shaking step forward however her skirt hid her shaky needs. "Such an old coin, something new...and curiosity only drove me to keep it....you may be in-love with your own image and idea of yourself, doesn't mean someone else will! Do the world a favor and get over yourself you pompous b*****d!!"
"How dare you!? Hold your tongue before I remove it for you!," threatened Dorian, clench jawed and fist as he stepped forward.

No sooner than Zoltan had finished, he was taking some verbal abuse too, some defensive sentences of presumably heart-warming notions. He was glad, to say the least, to see the wizard girl giving up, he could only bet that back in the day she would have looked up to him. He was so favoured before he leftthe sovereignty, he only became hated when the syndicate tossed him aside. Before the gypsie could reply though, the young albino girl replied first, she threatened him with her blade, threatened to him that he should leave them all alone. "I believe it is you that came here to interrupt me? I've never had any such intention scare you" he had his arms out by his sides to gesture whilst he spoke. And then she was told to put the sword down.
It did lower, a little, but the gypsie had her own few words to say to him. He certainly took it like a man, he was used to being foul-mouthed, but no one understood him! No one is evil in this world, everyone just has their own view of 'right'. She was more intelligent than he thought though, she knew what he was doing, like he was wearing a billboard saying I'm trying to antagonise you'. And then she spat words of acid at him, but Dorian wasn't going to allow that, of coarse not!
Holding an arm out in front of Dorian's chest though, he reassured him with "It's okay, Dorian". He then grinned as he looked around at everyone. "We're all very alike" he then paused for some breath, taking in their faces. "You all have my determination, you all wanted to become better, to become stronger. As for my image, i'm simple. You, however, dress up to impress mentally-challenged men who willingly hand over their last pennies."he's seen everything. Because of that damned coin. "Don't you all see? We all have our goals. I'm just trying to fix a broken society."
"Do you mean to question the Occult?" asked Nyru, his helm opening now and turning to the circlet on his head again. His face was filled with surprise, shock more like. The Occult were the government of all Magic-folk, even higher than the High Guild of Absolution. They stayed in Non-magic Earth for the most part, in Absóluté. Whilst the guildeam is run firstly by the High Guild, the Occult is the ruling government beyond it that give roders directly to the High Guild, who moved them down to their guilds, respectively.
"Who else?" question Zoltan, grinning at Dorian. "they're trying t protect the non-magic folk, the elves should surely know that's a bad idea. They're destroying our planet and we sit here idly, like sheep waiting for our next command?! And they trap us here to eb questoned by two dragons"
"How could you question that? The Occult has kept peace between our worlds for the last 2000 years, we could just heal our planet from here!" retaliated Alexis, again. But this time Zoltan still had an nswer, replying very quickly "By keeping us locked up, by letting the problem live. Do you not remember that it is them that began religions, that began sins, that made giant wars that to this day have caused for Hell to emerge, to cause us to be here. I'm not the bad guy here, you're just the Occult's pawns"
And then there was the sound of a weapon being pulled from its sheave, Nyru had his blade againa nd muttered "stop that"
"stop what? Telling you the truth, Caster? Isn't that what you are? I thought Caster's were officially a part of the Occult, able to vote, walk in and tell them your views. I don't see you-" and then he was interrupted for the first time, ever. "stop that!" Nyru repeated as he swung with a giant shadowy blade that appeared from no where! Zoltan wasn't ready to defend, but Dorian however?

Ruby was told by the gypsy to back down because that's what Zoltan wanted was her to attack. Probably so he could catch the girl off guard, and no one would be able to save her. Everyone was far to exhausted to even move and there was no way she could take him on alone. Last time, she miscalculated and almost got killed if Alexis didn't coming in and save her. The albino lowered her weapon and listened carefully to ever conversation to find out more about Zoltan. So far, he is the world's judge and it doesn't matter if you sound correct because he'll still beat you.
Adi didn't seem to trilled with him because she was tricked by his kind alias, and in some way helped the pompous b*****d. Dorian also took up for his master, but at what price was this boy giving his life to him? Suddenly, Zoltan tried to relate to all of them...and in a sickest terms he was somewhat right. Team Elixer had banded together to become stronger, but again things changed for the better of them because friendship was replaced with a lust for power. It didn't sound like an amazing change, but to her it was because she'd rather be Ruby than R.E.D. any day.
Ruby didn't quiet understand politics, but Nyru did sense he knew that Zoltan was referring to the government. Non-magic earth wasn't destroying their own realm was it? Wasn't the vote unanimous to all citizens of both magical and non-magic origins to live separately? Nyru said the Occult had kept peace for over 2000 years and she saw no reason for that not to be true. In government matters insisting about this subject, Nyru may have the upper hand in this augment. However, Zoltan reviewed their worlds as a prison and in some way he was correct again. Why couldn't they interact with normal people? Would they be ridiculed because some people don't know the meaning of special?
The antagonist kept his opinions strong until Nyru took action. This served as a signal that it was okay for her to attack as well. The man would be distracted by the shadow sword while she could attack his little crony. Her and Nyru would be able to take both of them out with no assistance required. She ran up to Dorian and swung with sheer force.
Claudia watched every conversation and movement go on speechless. She could barely comprehend her own thoughts at the moment as she tried to get down from the branch.

He couldn't believe what he was hearing. The Gypsy wench was slandering his Mentor, insulting his very essence in a way, and what he stood for. Dorian felt the ire in him rise like raging beast of flames. The young man stepped forward to defend Zoltan but his mentor had other plans and blocked him; making him stand down. "But Master Zoltan," he protested, but he didn't even get a glance as his Mentor carried on talking. However stiff and agitated as he was, Dorian stood down and just glared daggers at the gypsy woman. He would slay her...slowly and painfully and watch that light in her flicker out like a dying flame. Adi herself sensing this, shivered however, stood her ground. Listening to Zoltan, she could see it yet,he made good points on all he talked about. Mentioning the Occult was a touchy topic for most, and for Nyru it clearly was more so, not that Adi knew why. However, she didn't expect him to attack however, the attack flashing past her that made her jump away. And then Ruby seeing her opening attacked as well. "Ruby, no!" Adi cried. Dorian knowing his master and mentor was still not in full strength or shape to be fighting or defending, this time he stepped forward. Blocking Zoltan with his body, he was at the ready, though the albino girl attacking was a surprise however not unexpected. It didn't make a difference to him however, he was ready. With just a flicker of a thought, Dorian had let his magic work and form along his forearm. Inky black tongue like flames, a dark metallic gauntlet appeared on his arm just as Ruby's blade came down on his arm; halting the assault. A grin on his face, he gave to but a second to realize the position she had put herself in, her middle exposed from the force she put behind her attack. With his other hand he cast a wall between him and Zoltan, as the Shadowmancer came in for the strike. Though a stronger attack, making him work harder, Dorian was able to deflect attack and attacker. Flinging Nyru back towards a woman he particularly hated, in a hope to flatten her or at least hurt her with her own companion. In that same moment, Dorian let his fist burst with life of his inky shadow magic and swiftly with inhuman force punched Ruby in the stomach. The force behind it causing her to tossed back in the direction she had come to attack them. Adi however, gasped silently as she saw Nyru's attack deflected him sent flying back...at her! Too stunned to think properly, nothing magic wise crossed her mind. Rur'Adika's only instinct was to lift her arms slightly as if to catch Nyru, but soon realized that it was a stupid idea. She was weak already on top of just being a simple human Gypsy, no military training. Yet she still stood there, thinking only of Nyru as he came tumbling through the air at her. "Weaklings..." Dorian hissed out, almost as in pain. For on his face was a cut, slash from the blade Nyru wielded. Though flung back and his attack deflected, where he had slashed the wall, a cut appeared on the apprentices face. The blood though, was dark, near black and seeped slowly; not your average every day blood. ◑__________________△__________________◐

Everybody wants to rule the world" When the attacks came, Zoltan was surprised at first, he wasn't expecting an attack so swiftly. He should have known better, however, but Dorian his loyal apprentice used himself as a living shield. Though he managed to deflect much of the damage, he still become wounded. Wide-eyed Zoltan watched as Nyru and Ruby were both flung back and almost chuckled at how puny they were. Laxion felt something then drop in his stomach when Nyru went flying back towards Adi, and it all happened so fast that he couldn't do anything to stop Nyru from falling on top of the wondrous girl in a collapsed mass. "why, you!" Laxion lashed out, though he was several feet away he slashed with his spear and the tip shot off like an arrow attached to metallic rope. Maues saw this, and retaliated quickly. The spear tip wrapped itself around his arm and the inside edges caught onto his flesh like hooks. He then bega pulling the rope back with his own weight, puling Laxion along the ground slightly, like a dog holding a toy. "It's pathetic to think i could ever reason with any of you..." he muttered. And then his arm began to bleed and flesh teared, at first Laxion thought he was doing well, but then his foe continued to tug and pull. And then, with on swift action, Zoltan pulled the elemental flying over and with his spare hand he pulled a long, bone sword from his knee cap, it must have been concealed in his lower leg, but how? He could still stand whent he blade came pertruding out his flesh and lashed across Laxion's chest. It cut through his armour easily and left a bloody line across he when he plummeted to the ground. And as he turned back tot he others he pointed his blade and said, with a skeletal face, his flesh slowly eroding to reveal nothing but deformed bone and muscle. "I gave you all a chance, and im not sorry to say we're going to have to kill you - Dorian. The Gypsie is yours, she's of no use to me anymore". Those that were awake, wanted to do something, but Alexis was exhausted, and Nyru, after helping Adi up, was recovering from that attack, he could feel his head beginning to thrum with pain, each second like a drum beat. Alexis looked upon the horror, though, this is what Zoltan Maues had become, something of death, of gore, it was beyond that of the Underworld or even of what Hell could muster. But then, oh, then, his flesh began to take on a blueish tint. "And now that my ritual is almost complete, i shall be taking to Absóluté, thankyou" "NOT SO FAST" then came a young, british accent from over the corner, from a neatly placed blue box. He came old holding his sonic screwdriver, glowing green at Zoltan as he rushed out towards them. "Well, you've become ugly havn't you, with you're, moony antics!" Clara rushed out after him, they were both standing not far behind the others, keeping a good distance between Zoltan and Dorian. The Doctor, had a serious glare across his face and persisted to point. "You listen here, Zoltan Maues. That world that you want to destroy, there is not a single person there that isn't important. Now, i dont care what you're little mission is, but you're going to murder thousands, billions of innocent people. And whatever this Occult is, they don't know the half of it. I've saved that world more times than you could remember and each time i've left my own mark, an impression on every living soul that has ever watched me" "you dare to defy me? A man in a box?" "that's me" replied the Doctor, still filled with angst. "And you know what? Every other evil that has ever come across me... they run in fear. And so should you" and then the sonic buzzed as he suddenly pointed it over towards the dar mark ont he ground, and then he swooped it up tot he sky at the moon as Zoltan fell to his knees in pain, he maoned in a brief moment of agony as a blue, misty aura as wide as the dark mark on the ground shot up towards the moon, little, static-like cracks stretching across the air until it hit the moon. "what... what have you done?!" shouted Zoltan, trying to stand. "Oh, its nothing really. Sorry, are you still connected to this intricate little circuit you've made? You're like that bit of pointless information stuck in the middle of a wifi connection that gets lost when you turn it off. See, i'm reversing the polarity of your time vortexs and also, my TARDIS is already half-way to fixing the areas atmosphere, and when it spreads... you'll vanish from time and space" he ended with a deadly stare. It's the moment of the Doctor. "There's a room where the light won't find you

Nyru's attack plus her's seemed to take Dorian by surprise, but the male was more formidable then the two excepted. Like before, He protected his master with the black wall of flames and when her friend tried to strike it hit the wall sending Nyru flying back. Unfortunately, the direction he was propelled back was towards the gypsy and there was no way to stop him from landing on her. Hopefully, Adi would be able to stand the force of his crushing weight falling on top of her. "Nyru!" Ruby screamed out his name, but it was no use because had her own situation to deal with. Dorian had converted the black flame wall into gauntlets to block Ruby's offensive. His arm was arched up and when the girl's blade hit she continued to push down leaving her middle exposed.
The albino was more intelligent in battle tactics, but this move made her look like an idiot. Everyone knows to never leave you middle unprotected or else the enemy will take the opportunity to gain the upper hand. A blow impacted to her stomach and the girl was sent flying back, hitting the ground multiple times. Claudia's eyes widened when she saw her partner and her sister get thrown around like rag dolls. She maneuvered her way out of the tree and onto the battlefield. Ruby had coughed up blood from the attack, but she was still willing to stand up and try again. The blonde got to her and tried to hold her back convincing her that it was pointless. However, Nyru managed to injure Dorian even if it was a tiny scratch.
Laxion couldn't stand to sit back and listen to another one of Zoltan's arrogant speeches. He threw his spear Zoltan's way and it wrapped around his arm ripping away his flesh. The man's arm started to become invisible under all the blood, but Zoltan didn't even twitch in pain. Instead he transformed into his grotesque exposed muscle and skin form, dug out a bone from under his knee cap, and stuck Laxion in the chest. The male was protected by heavy duty armor, but the blade sliced through it like flimsy bread. The albino's eyes widened as she noticed a good amount of blood rushing down Laxion's chest. She struggled away from Claudia whom was holding her back and ran over to her injured friend. She lifted him half way and held him close as she looked at Alexis trying to hold back tears.
It seemed like the end, but the Doctor came to save the day! He used his sonic screwdriver on the pentagram messing up the ritual. The attack was effecting Zoltan and the man was forced into submission. The Doctor said he saved the world countless times and she had no reason not to believe him.

She never moved, never stepped aside as Nyru came closer. No instead she committed to the moment and reached her arms up. It was rather foolish, but Adi always did what she could to help others when the moment arose. This one she may have regretted a whee bit as suddenly Nyru came in contact with her.
He hit her with such force it took her off her feet. I t was like getting hit by an horse drawn wagon on the loose. As soon as they met, Adi knew she would have bruises the shape of Nyru's armor. Tumbling and rolling across the ground, the gypsy didn't know which way was up. By the end of it, her world was black, and took a few moments for Adi to realize her world was motionless. Her head throbbed even worse then before and her body ached, right along with feeling the weight on her chest and legs.
Groaning she held her head. "...my head..." she mumbled. Content to lay there, Adi didn't open her eyes till Nyru was up and offering her a hand to help her up. With his help she managed to get to her feet and stay there, she had to lean against him for support just to remain standing.
Not sure what was going on, Adi wasn't aware of anything till the Doctor came bursting out. That was when she took in what Zoltan had become and it could only be Zoltan. Monstrous and a contorted figure of something once human; a thing of nightmares, and she was sure to have some. More frightening was that Dorian was told to kill her, and if the others had problems, she would be an easy kill. The Doctor unfazed though came forward and with a rant and some how waving around that object of his, changed something. For Zoltan was on his knees in pain.
As soon as Zoltan was on his knees, Dorian knew something had gone wrong. Rushing to his Mentor he stood at his side, however not kneeling at his side, having to stay focused.
"b*****d!" he cried at the strange man. "Try as you might, I will not let you, just like the rest of the swine here!!"
Determined and viscous, Dorian raised his hands a heavy stomp forward, threw walls of darkness came at them. However, before reaching them, the walls forced into black spikes large and long enough to pierce and go through a adult human's torso with easy.

The Doctor & Clara Theme song: I Am The Doctor
And suddenly, there was a bright blue flash of light as Alexis plunged her staff into the ground infront of everyone, she had already lost her vision through the tears of Laxion suffering such a wound, and placing all her weight onto the staff as it prodded out of the ground she cried "Doctor... please! Whatever it is you're going to do" she tried not to continue crying as she let out "... do it now...". Amidst her action, she was attempting to protect them all from the walls that came towards them in a mass of spikes, she was exhausted, and would make one last stand. From her staff she was conjuring her own arcane wall made of hexagons that glowed, but with each impact from Dorian' magic, they cracked a little further, from her nose came blood, the pressure on her mind forcing her body to retaliate.
Laxion could only see blackness, he coudl hear muffled cries, muffled crashes in the background and felt his body being lifted, and then a great stinging pain across his chest. It was as if someone had whipped him with a razor hot chain. Soon, he came to realise that Ruby was holding him, weeping for him, and then he gritted his teeth as he breathed in harshly, realising the pain he was in. "ah!" he began, squinting his eyes. "R-ruby" he hissed. "don't worry about me!" he was struggling to speak properly with all the pain.
Meanwhile, the Doctor had begun his plan. "there's one thing you need to learn about me!" began the doctor, as he pointed his sonic screwdriver at a different moon int he sky and then Zoltan went plummeting to the floor, no longer on his knees in pain. The bluish tinge he was getting from the moons was now beginning to rot, his flesh turning to black charred muscle. He was roaring in pain. "clara, quickly, get in the TARDIS, i'll tell you when!" he said quickly, as she nodded and ran off into the Tardis next to them. "I'm ready!!!!" she shouted from the impossibly huge room. Nyru then joined the effort with Alexis, he had a plan, but he knew the only way to do it would be to destroy her staff. The source of power, it was obviously the crystal, and then he decided it woudl be worth it. As he stepped away from Adi, his shadow stepped off the ground and turned into a black statue, exactly where he was standing for her. And then he ran to Alexis who was crying in pain and then - he held out his palm and sent a concentrated beam of dark energy through it.
There was a sudden chime in the air, as two different magic's collided and suddenly the protective wall against Dorian's attack was engulfed by the explosion. Nyru and Alexis were fine, the explosion only defeated attacks, it didn't even effect people! There was a dark, shadowy but static explosion through the air as it nullified aggressive magics, that was because of Alexis' crystal, it was one of Entei's himself. When it was destroyed, it let out an arcane burst that would interupt any other arcane power.. and since both Zoltan and Dorian formed the basis of their magics from event he slightest arcane teachings... that was effected too. Only for a few minutes though.
"now!" shotued the Doctor, and Clara pulled down a leaver in the TARDIS as the light on top of it lit brightly. And then, the great white light shot up into the sky and plunged into the clouds. And then Zoltan tried to get back up to his knees as he looked at his bony hand, even his bones were beginning to splinter, to be destroyed. "Dorian!" he exclaimed. "I-I'm... Dying!" he was trying to catch his breath, although he never even needed to breath! "Go... You won't survive!" at firsst it seemed like he actually cared for the boy, but then he said "You're the only one that can bring me back! Use the Demonaria! Find the right moment! Find the right place! And for go-" he wanted to say god, but even the holy word mad ehis throat fill with agony. he then skipped the word and ended with "for the sake of us.. Remember!"
His chest then thrust out as his arms went flailing backwards, energy pulsed from him outwards along the floor, many of the trees leaning as if a large gust of wind had hit them. Soon enough, the moons in the sky were beginning to vanish, the sky becoming darker and darker, Zoltan deteriorating more and more. And then Alexis recovered, in the blur of her vision, the muffled sounds she saw those men, those outdated arcaz men, and they were cowering! They were going to go back inside the portal, but when her vision sharpened... she could see that the portal was beginning to die... she couldn't help but think... her father is there, and she'll never get to see him again.
"Haha!!!!" exlcaimed the Doctor. "Okay everyone! Hold on just a few minutes!" and then his smile left him as he quietly said "And then he'll be gone." And then he qucikly remembered, btu had to shout loudly amongst all the distractions going on! "Everybody! We can't stay here for too long! or the Time continuum will break us apart!"

Claudia saw that Ruby had other priorities to attend to at the moment and she had to get back to her partner. Nyru had once again been pushed into Adi, but the two recovered. The blonde ran over to her companion and stood at his right side as the Doctor made his dramatic entrance. The female wasn't medically inclined to help Laxion, and Alexis was going to make her own decisions regardless to anyone's warning. The arcane magic user struggled out into the open battlefield supporting herself with her staff. She was exhausted and reached her limit long ago, but still had the audacity to assault Dorian. His eyes were set on making Adi suffer for reasons unknown. She wasn't sure why Dorian hated the gypsy with a passion, however, it may have something to do with her and Zoltan's meeting earlier.
The albino's arms, hands, and middle were soaked in body as tears flowed from her red eyes. Laxion let out a cry of pain that must surged through him when he twitched. Ruby was also holding him in an awkward position hearing him basically start to choke on his ow blood as he spoke. She re-positioned him as carefully as she could even though he lied to her about being fine. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." She repeated over and over as she shook with fear. Neither Alexis nor Laxion had received an injury so extreme and she thought he would die of blood loss.
Suddenly, Alexis moved forward sending an attack Dorian's way. Ruby couldn't assist the two at the same time and this really tore her apart inside. Alexis was straining her body that she was starting to bleed and if she let go of Laxion she would lose him. All she could do was sit there and cry like a five year old lost in crowd trying desperately to seek out her parents.
The Doctor had the advantage was was slowly, but surely destroying Maues plans as well as the man himself. As the moons rotted over, meaning they turned a dark brownish color before disintegrating entirely, Zoltan's skin was crumbling into a black mess. It almost looked like the man had been lit on fire and left on the grill to burn. His screamed of pain taunted Ruby and Claudia, however, the blonde had the option to cover her ears. Ruby turned away from the horrifying scene that she couldn't even comprehend. The girl's mind was so muddled with all the different actions going around, but she had faith in the others to end this fight once and for all.
Ruby was a bit relieved when Nyru ran to Alexis side in order to protect themselves from Dorian's attack. Everything happened so quickly that she could see the two through the collision of the blast. "Alexis, Nyru!" She yelled at the top of her lungs as her heart sank. Her worried had vanquished as her two friends had combined their powers to make a protective shield for themselves. The Doctor's plan worked, but Zoltan didn't give up even when death had already claimed him. His pawn, Dorian would find a way to bring his master to reek havoc on the surface once more. When that day came Team Elixer, the shadowmancers, the light sorceress, and the Doctor as well as his partner Clara would be ready. For now in her agenda, Zoltan Maues has been temporary defeated or at least it seemed so. The portal that had been opened was slowly closing with the two time travelers from before. Alexis was occupied with it in a concerning manner and Ruby only hoped Nyru would watch over her. She stare down at Laxion hoping that he would live.

Everything they had worked for, everything they had done together to gain the strength, the knowledge and the resources to achieve this goal, was grumbling beneath him. Right along side with his Master and Mentor's grumbling figure of splintering bone and deterioration of flesh. Not only were they losing the power and the end goal of the ritual, but Dorian was watching painfully as Zoltan gradually disappeared before him. "No...no no no, NOOOOO," he cried coming to kneel by Zoltan, quiet clearly the grief and despair in his eyes honest and true. Dorian's mind was racing to find a way to reverse this, to end the connect so a part of his Mentor would still survive, but his knowledge was limited and his strength ineffective. For once in his life he felt helpless, and hated it greatly. More so when Zoltan told to abandon him, as he wouldn't survive the aftermath that was coming. "No Master I can't leave you!"Desperation was clear in his voice for all to hear. Zoltan may have long let go of his humanity, but it was clear, a part of Dorian's still clung to him. Even if it was only toward the single man that wanted world domination and destruction. The apprentice tried to hold his Master together like pieces to a puzzle however, the pieces quickly disappearing...and by the end of it, there was nothing left. Dorian was alone, the group before him forgotten in that moment of time as he stared with watering eyes at the place his mentor had once been. Like a torrent building, Dorian finally let loose an agonized cry of pain, angry and outrage; face buried in his leather gloved hands. Then the young man was facing them, staring hate and daggers at them all through the spread fingers of his hand. However, it wasn't the same look as before, one eye a dark onyx another was a slanted yellow eye, looking more similar to that of a feline then human. Dropping his hands, the group found just why that was the case, for part of Dorian's face was morphed by black shadows, swirling and living across his pale human flesh, like a tattoo however alive. "You all will pay for this. Maybe not today, maybe not this month or year...but you will all found yourself dying a painful death. I'll find you...be watching you; stalking you in the shadows and in you nightmares at night. I'll kill you all for this, and watch your world burn."There was an eerie calm to Dorian's voice as he made his vow of vengeance on them. Adi found herself shivering as that slanted yellow eye burrowed into her like it was clawing at her soul. The stare almost painful she almost couldn't breath, but then he was leaping to his feet. Dorian running to the edge of the cliff face, and even a hesitation he leaped. However, just as he was beginning the descent into the air, a black oval portal appeared and the apprentice disappeared beyond it. Shaken, however, with the Doctor's warning, Rur'Adika found her adrenaline kicking again and leaving the shadow brace behind moved closer to the group. Reaching Ruby and Laxion, she grimaced at the sight of the nasty wound she didn't remember seeing him get. "We have to get him tot he TARDIS Ruby, regardless if its wise to move him or not, he can't stay here. Come on help me..." she stated firmly but urgently with care as she put one arm of the spear wielder over her shoulder and waited for Ruby to do the same. "It's alright Laxion, we'll get you taken care of, just hold on a little long alright...show me that warrior-caster pride I hear so much about."◑__________________△__________________◐

Alexis Truesvale I couldn't take it, couldn't stand another minute

Was stripped away from me the minute that you died
Legends Scattered...
Slowly, but surely, the horrific being that was Zoltan Maues was actually dying before her eyes, Alexis managed to recover from the explosion and saw that her father's murderer was falling to decay. Laxion was still in pain and trying to tell her it's alright! Sure, he was never expecting to get through life without pain, but at Asmodius... the army never really needed to go into real battle very often, this was his first. And he had been badly wounded. As the moons int he sky vanished the light canceled completely when Zoltan was no longer in existence. And then Dorian made a hearty complaint at them all, he vowed for their death. Nyru stared from the distance when he heard it, and at that moment he thought he can't get away! but he was too fast, and barely out of energy as he darted for the cliff and vanished. And then he heard the cries of pain from Laxion, but Adi and Ruby were there already. Everything happened so fast, so soon, and was over just as quickly.
As Laxion was carried towards the TARDIS he said "Alexis.. where's Alexis?" through his pained speech, he knew Ruby was there, but his other team mate, he wanted to know she was okay. Nyru was beside him and at this moment he gazed around and stared onwards, heart sinking. "Ruby... What is she doing?!". Alexis was standing right before the portal, it illuminated her into a dull silhouette before its blue light. The portal was like water, a ripple in existence. Through it were blossoming trees and fields akin to that of Asia, Non-Magic Earth. But there were.. floating mountains in the background? It was too hazy to make out, but Laxion suddenly forced the girls so that he could look back too. And then the Doctor rushed beside them and his jaw dropped. Alexis turned around and gave them an unsure smile. She wanted to go through, in her head she kept thinking about her father, and noted that Laxion and Ruby will be okay. But she's waited her whole life for this, and tears began to drip down her cheeks. "What are you doing!?" shouted the Doctor, distressed all of a sudden. "My dad... he's behind there... isn't he?! I could just walk through, fix everything-"
"But you'll be lost in time, your time stream completely out of order! You could ge tlost, anythign could happen-"
"Al-exis" Laxion grasped for air as he tried to shout "you- you can't" and then tears became like fountains down her face as shared stared over to them, shaking her head, lips curling as she tried to say "But this is what i've been living for... w-waiting all this years. Knowing something wasn't complete... and now it's here! My dad is through there, and i can save him!"
"It's not natural.. please.. Alexis... i can't stop ti from closing, the atmosphere is already trying to fix what is broken and once it closes i can never get you back! Not even m TARDIS will get trhough!" even the Doctor's voice seemed a little knocked up, it wa slike he'd been through this sort of experience before, and it made Clara worry. She then turned to the others and tried to find out info from them. "Will she, really, really do this?! Is there not.. anything you could do to stop her?" and Laxion shook his head, unable to speak, btu hopefully Ruby would.
And then Alexis spoke up. "Doctor..." and he stared over, waiting for what she had to say. her head shook slowly when she said "By the time this closes... i'll be gone. I know that. But please... whatever happens.. don't blame yourself. None of you. This was my choice, and i'll be happy. No matter the outcome. So please... all of you, know that i'll live well, or die happy. I will think about you all, all the time, and don't let my empty space go noticed..." she tried to hold back some tears as she continued. "And Doctor. Do one thing for me. There's a little girl waiting in Neutral City, in a cold garden, and she's going to be waiting a long, long time. And she's going to need a lot of hope because she's going to find out her dad is missing, and will never come back... Go to her, tell her a story... she loves stories.
