Yusake was obviously pleased that his attack hit its mark. But then there was the problem of dealing with the large, fire made tiger in front of him. Ah, but that is something he was already readying himself for. There was still a flame which emitted from the metal replacements to his shoulder bones. And that was part of what he counted on to get him out of this situation. Yusake raised his right arm into the air now, still crouched where he stopped before. The compartments had opened shortly after he stopped from the kick of his last attack. It was not a great deal of pressured air, but it would be enough. With a roar, he thrust his fist straight into the earth below him. His own body was launched straight into the air, turning slowly around as it was. He focused, and grit his teeth as he prepared the next phase of things. On each of the metal plates that made up this portion of his body was a single, gold colored square that intersected in the center of the two. They both opened as white flame continued to draw into them. Shortly after they opened though, they began to release the white, flame like aura. The sudden dispersal caused Yusake to shoot up just a little more toward where the wall was.
As Yusake's body slowly turned upright and faced the wall, he thrust his metal arm toward it, which had already begun to draw more air into it. The moment the powerful fist hit the wall, he was pushed off of the wall and through the air, where extended his body forward and looked ahead. The white flames quickly erupted from his back, spreading out to either side of his body. It wasn't long before the white flames extended out at least five feet outward, creating a pair of wings...white hot wings of fire. He slightly lifted upward before arching down, soaring above the tiger and toward where his attack hit. As he moved over the arena, the ground further down began to brighten from the flare of his wings. It wasn't long before he dived, then turned himself upright to land. Yusake skid against the ground a few feet after landing meters in front of Seyla. He stopped completely by thrusting his hand against the ground, the metal one of course. Seeing her in the condition she was in only varified, at least to him, that this fight was over.
Yusake straightened himself upright, taking a few steps toward her with the brightly lit wings spread upward. He approached slowly though, cautiously, so as not to frighten her. "Whoa...hey...hey..." he stood there, just...well, looking at her for a moment. It's not as if he could have done anything, Yusake had yet to learn a way to heal with his power, and wasn't about to try when all he knew was how to attack and destroy with it. But, he wasn't about to shiver and cry about what he had done, it was a fight, after all. "Okay, fight's over...it's about time you turned that thing off." he walked closer to her again, placing his left hand lightly on her shoulder. "Okay? Come on...lemme help you up..." he wouldn't actually hold her up or help her unless she allowed him, he did move a little closer. After all, considering what happened, it wouldn't surprise him in the least if she were afraid, hateful, or spiteful toward him and would rather he be torn up by the tiger.

Arabesque raced after him, not allowing Yusake to get away after what he had done to Seyla. The tiger was definately loyal, no doubt about it. As Yusake skidded infront of Seyla the tiger jumped up behind him, aiming to strike him in the back with a loud roar.
Yusake's questions went ignored by Seyla, his comments as well. She could barely make out his words, or his form standing in front of him. It was all so blurry...everything was so blurry. She couldn't hang on any longer...she couldn't. It was then that she fell to the ground, collapsing in a heap, a pool of blood forming around her body. She was unconscious, and now Yusake was left to fend for himself against a very unhappy Arabesque.

Mattus watched grimly from the stands as Seyla lost consciousness. He felt a surge of adrenaline rush through him, as he saw her flaming tiger rampaging out of control. He cursed under his breath. Its out of control again... He gritted his teeth and stood up from where he was in the stands. He peered over the edge.
The ground seemed to wobble all around as he realized how high he was. He then looked back to Seyla. His brow furrowed with concern. This is no time for fear of heights Matt let out a yell and jumped off drawing his gunblade. He landed on one knee, both hands planted on the ground. He felt lots of strain on his wrists. He stood up and rubbed his wrists a bit, then ran forward to where Seyla and Yusake were.
He looked around and realized how dark it was, the tiger's light was all there was too see the two of them. He couldn't really tell how badly Seyla was hurt in this light, so he simply stepped in between Yusake and the tiger.
He turned his head and smirked at Yusake.
"Sorry to ruin your fun, but this fights over."
He then gave a thumbs up (NICE GUY POSE)
"Leave it to me."
Mattus thrust his gunblade into the ground and let go of it. He then walked in front of it and crouched down so that his back was up against it. He used it to brace himself as he took off his right glove and his scar glowed orange. He then outstretched his right hand, palm towards the tiger. His left hand held onto his right wrist, to brace the hand. He then focused his element in a negative direction. This caused there to be an intake of flame instead of an outburst of flame like normal.
The tiger slammed into his palm (yeah yeah seyla said he could so chill out) , his back braced against the gunblade. He grunted and hefted all his power into his hand. Slowly the flames from the tiger started to transfer to his hand. The fire crept up his arm and soon had his entire right side covered. He then kicked the tiger away with his left foot and stood up. The flames all quickly disapated and he smirked. He pointed at Arabesque.
"I wouldn't try it again, Arabesque! You are going to fade into nothingness, while lending all your power to me. I suggest you return to your master!"

Yusake's first, and usual instinct, was to punch at the flaming beast as it roared and leaped his way. He turned to face the creature, readying a fist to thrust until...enter...whoever the hell this is! Yusake stopped his fist before it collided with the man, who smirked at him. All he could do was jump slightly, his eyebrow raised. "Uh..." he started, before being interrupted again. "Ssssure..." he could only say when Mattus said to leave it to him. He watched as Mattus practically smacked it away, and only waited, standing there with about as dumb a** of an expression as you can imagine Yusake would make. "Urr...okay...but..." his right eye twitched. "Who the f$%k are you? And uh..." he pointed back at Seyla, scratching his head. "...shouldn't we uh...fuggin' help her? Or something..." whatever did happen to that killer instinct...that tough fighter...he went and got stupid is what.

Arabesque roared, half in pain, and half in defiance. But he knew all to well that he had lost. Glancing to Seyla with his eyes she noted her state, he should probably submit before things got worse. The girl needed help, and he was keeping her from it. Arabesque lowered himself into a pose of submission. His eyes looked up to Mattus, letting the headmaster know that he was willing to be absorbed, for the sake of the girl Seyla. Now that Mattus had managed to absorb half of it, the glove was losing it's control of the beast, and it was gaining it's own free will back. Or at least whatever free will he had when he was under Seyla's control.
Seyla was cold, and her skin pale, she was losing color quickly, and her body was starting to shut itself done due to blood loss. But of course Seyla would never know this. She was unconscious, unaware of all the pain, and the simple fact that she was dying. Would she ever know if she had died or not?

Mattus rubbed his right palm a bit and looked at it. Smoke slowly rose from it and he then set his eyes on Arabesque. He was relieved that the tiger submitted to him. He didn't feel like getting burned to a crisp He bit his lip and thought of what to do. He said his thoughts aloud out of habit.
"Alright...well, if we wake up Seyla...the glove should get control of that beast again. Right now its acting on its own will."
As he reasoned aloud, he absent mindedly gripped his gunblade, still stuck in the ground in front of him. He wrenched it free from the ground with his right hand, then hefted it onto his shoulder. He looked over his shoulder at Yusake.
"...the headmaster Yusake...I'm Mattus. I'm sure you recognize my name. Oh and she will be fine, she just passed out."
He slowly walked towards the creature over to Seyla and crouched beside her. He put his hand to her forehead first then removed it. He then nudged her a bit.
"Seyla...SEYLA! Wake up! Come on...the fights over."
He looked up at Yusake.
"Oh by the way, since she lost consciousness and wasn't really fighting you anymore...thats why I stepped in. Didn't wanna see any unnecessary wounds and stuff. You are the winner."
He then turned his attention back on Seyla

Seyla didn't stir, her form still lying on the now tile floor. The arena had reverted back to its original form, now that the winner had been declared. Sunlight made its way into the arena giving light to the situation at hand. For one Arabesque still lay in his submissive position, some distance from the other three. Mattus would have to call back the tiger on his own, for Seyla wouldn't be waking up for a long time. At least not in her current condition.
There was a loud gasp from the crowd as they saw her laying there, the blood surrounding her body. Some of them thought she was dead, and others just didn't know what to think. A team of paramedics quickly raced out with a stretcher in hand. The set it down beside her and immediately put a neck brace on her. It was a general rule whether head injuries were suspected or not- better safe then sorry. The male and the female then lifted the girl onto the stretcher, careful not to hurt her any further. Another medic was on the side trying to stop her bleeding, with various bandages and techniques.
"Her pulse is weak, we need to get her to the hospital immediately or else she might die. Someone call the chopper in, we're gonna have to fly her in" The male directed, after checking her heart rate. They had already started to roll her off of the arena. If Mattus wanted to follow he'd have to deal with Arabesque quickly.

Yusake looked at Mattus with a raised eyebrow when his question was answered. "The wha? What the hell? I never yeard of ya." no, Yusake wasn't kidding, he had never heard of the headmaster or the headmaster's name up until now. "Damn...old man shoulda told me more about this frug..." he mumbled to himself about Solumone, who either neglected to tell him about the staff (Unlikely) or Yusake was off in his own little world when he was told (Very likely). "Eh...urgh...you sure she will?" he took a few steps closer to Seyla before she was wheeled off. "Tch...right...winner...whatever, you sure she'll be okay?" he narrowed his eyes a little at Mattus, giving him a suspicious side glance, a glare was more like it. After all, the win meant so very little to Yusake, anyway.

The human bodies were beginning to scatter for the battle was over and their excitement and thrill seeking was now over. As the bodies left a single one remained amongst the crowed. A wind coming from the east blew the long jet hair off to the side of the young woman. The pair of sea deep eyes watching as the female opponent was wheeled off hastly to the hospital. Growing curious of how serious the damage done to the woman was. How long it would take the woman to heal physically and mentally. It was no matter to Reaper though it was none of her concern what was her concern was the loud obnoxious mouth that could easily be heard over the bodies of many.
Steadily Reaper started to make way through the crowd. Wondering silently to herself while she pulled out a lolly pop if Yusake would take notice of her. She wasn't in her usual wear of blacks and reds. Actually she was in a mixture of violet and blacks that was quite proper somewhat. Already she caught sight of Yusake in the distance quickly closing the distance between them as she kept herself silent. The fine pink wrapper crackled as it was unbound around the strawberry flavored lolly pop. Placed within her mouth to loosen it up so it wouldn't be so hard. Reaper came to a stop behind Yusake as he spoke to the man. Right foot tapping the ground idly waiting for a moment when the two would cease talking. Then again..this was Yusake that time will most likely never come. With that in mind she stepped around Yusake as if she belong there the lolly pop coming out of her mouth and went popping into Yusake's right after asking if the female would be alright.
"I wonder at times if you even have the capability to shut up." Reaper started off as she peered up at him. "Really, Yusake, I would think you would know better then to pick upon poor little girls all the time."

She stood in silence as Mattus faced Arabesque and she shook her head, becoming dazed again. Seyla wasn't there... just this guy and a tiger.. Seyla wasn't there. And there was just the remaining people who looks were ones of confusion. "Where'd Seyla go?!" she demanded to one of them, blocking his path. "They took her away on a stretcher.. something about flying her in." he replied with a shrug and walked past her. Oh.. no... I was supposed to watch Seyla! Where'd she.. go.. ? she slowly turned back towards Mattus and stared down at him, visibly shaking. "Hey!" she cried, her voice steady. "Where'd they take Seyla, huh?! I need to find her!" Keila's voice cracked as she quickly became worrysome again. The arena's appearance didn't even affect her at this point, despite it's interesting look.

Mattus turned and faced the tiger. He set his jaw and swallowed. He didn't really want to completely absorb it, but a tiger made of fire was not meant to roam free in this world. He slowly walked up to it, as it bowed its head to him. He put his right hand on its head and the tiger slowly absorbed into his body, covering him in flame. It then all disappated as fast as it had appeared, leaving his body smoking.
He cocked his head up towards Keila.
"The med team just took her away, so I expect that she will be being treated now. You can probably visit her."
He then turned and walked off towards the exit, losing himself in a crowd of people.

Yusake stood there, unanswered by the headmaster. Though, he was spoken to in the form of Reaper and another of her shots at his expense. Normally, he would yell out, protest, or show his bout of anger by getting in her face...but this wasn't the usual situation, not for Yusake. His head raised slightly toward Reaper, and he looked into her eyes. There was a look of anger, of course...but not the overexagerated outbursts of times before...no, honest to God anger...but also a look of hurt. That was all he did, look into Reaper's eyes before walking along. If she followed...that was her business, but he would not speak, only move through the crowds, the people, and whoever else may be in the way. Honestly...he only intended on making his exit now.

The amusment Reaper had quickly left at that gaze she had recieved back from Yusake. There came along a sense of awareness that she might've crossed the line as she stood there silently. Watching as he turned and simply walked away. Her feet staying in place upon the ground as if glued there. It was just like her to say something wrong and stupid at such an inappropitate time. Was that why so many others had left her behind? She may have the knowledge and skills upon the battlefield but anywhere else she simply lacked everything. No wonder she had stuck to nothing but battle ever since that time so many years ago. Without realizing it she had been holding her breath that entire time and had finally it out.
That was when it came. A soft ticklish sort of vibration coming from the midst of her chest. Sighing out at the timing Jacob had of contacting her that boy always had the worse timing. Reaching to the cord around her neck she snapped it off not bothering to take the time to remove it gently. Fingers uncurling she gazed down at the crystal watching the way it gave off a soft hew. Strange....usually a message would've come through immediately after the vibration started. Lifting it up she held it close to her ear that was when she could hear sounds coming from it. They were faint but she could make them out as she closed off all other sounds surrounding her. Eyes narrowed at the number of voices coming in then her eyes widen a bit when the sounds of battle was coming into her ear.
".....Jacob." The crystal dropped from Reaper's hand turning upon the ball of her foot she went sliding her hand into a gauntlet as the crystal crashed to the ground. The metal locked upon her flesh the metal extended upwards to her shoulders protuding spikes from the elbow. Reaper shoved her way through the crowd needlessly making her way towards the gates that would take her out of this area. True she didn't know where Jacob currently was but it had to be on the school grounds. There were too many people in this area for him to be here. So that only left the school grounds. She was slipping her other hand into a gauntlet a perfect twin to the other as she started to disappeared amongst the crowed as she ran.
