Azlok smiled at the Corporal for a moment, even after the asinine male interrupted. This incessant man would be silent soon enough, one way or another. He slowly turned his gaze to Danik as his eyes darkened with a fire. His fists were balled and restrained by will alone. His smile dropped to a scowl as his face glowered at Danik.
"Ye get whit ye deserve. A fate nae decided by a mortal such as me, but chaos. He will decide how soon ye die. Coz ye will die, frae bleedin' out, ur th' next skirmish. Please, teel me th' nam ay yer family, so ah may give them mah blessings fur th' loss ay their canceroos leech!"
Azlok spoke, his voice barely controlled to a soft bark. While he let loose, his mind prayed to Murgoth to rid the earth of this waste of space. He cursed Danik for all he could muster. He was a priest, so it was not easy to send him this far off into anger. Hell, had Danik been a hair more respectful, Azlok would have offered him coin to attain a beverage to soothe the pain. But this man had been insufferable since the beginning and had just cut off the praise of Hrolfnir by Jierdan. Disregard for Hrolfnir and interruption of praise, was intolerable.
Azlok breathed deeply and turned his head to the Corporal, smiling again. "Ah appreciate yer cheers, but mind tae thank he who blesses me wi' thes gift. Without Hrolfnir, Ah cooldnae do any ay thes. It is by heem, 'at ah achieve these that ye have seen," he humbly replied with a bow.
"Sodding hell! Incoming! The hordes have returned!"
Azlok heard the chaos ensue. He still hadn't checked on the west guardtower. They would be down a sentry. Azlok muttered frustrations under his breath.
"Which way tae th' west guard tower? ootside ur in?" he frantically asked the Corporal.

((K. In that case... Still head for ground.))
Seeing that the battle was now at hand, Revlis dismissed the drunkard for the moment. He sought the Captain with the intent to inform him that his third ballistae is manned by a single drunk, violent, and rather volatile soldier, and see where he would be of the most use.
Action: Well, yeah, that's about it. it's late and I'm tired.

Once Ezarix finished his soup, he kicked back and put his feet on the table, listening to Litaria's proposals.
"If you ask me, I'd say the guards are more interested in protecting the town. We could go over on out own but you do raise a good point. If we get surrounded by goblins then it more than likely won't end well.
So what I'd say we do is head over and ask if anyone there might tag along with us. Tell them we heard of a goblin outpost and taking it out could push back the fighting greatly."
He stood up and stretched out before giving his neck a little crack. "You can call me Ezarix."

Litaria glanced disapprovingly as Ezarix placed his feet on the table but did not comment on them, and frowned as she listened to his proposal.
"You mean lie about it?" she asked, thinking, then sighed. "I suppose it's the best way to get people to come with us. But we're going to need to flesh the details out a bit." She closed her eyes for a moment, cooking up a story. "We'll say we overheard several people talking about the outpost on our way to enlist. Naturally we're skeptical of such rumors, but we figured if it's true it's worth sending a small team that can sneak by enemy lines to check it out and and take it down. How's that?"

Ezarix gave a chuckle.
"Well, I wouldn't say we're lying. The woman said herself she wasn't certain if there was goblins there, so in truth we did 'overhear' someone talking about a goblin outpost, and naturally we are 'skeptical' and it would be worthwhile to send a party."

"There's a difference between an 'outpost' and 'scattered goblins invading houses,'" Litaria grumbled, but she wasn't here to argue semantics with the elf. "Let's get going, then." She stood up and left, not bothering to see if Ezarix followed.

Azlok
The corporal quickly points in the direction of the tower and heads to the front himself, yelling back: "Thank you once again, master dwarf!"
You arrive at the western watchtower and your adrenaline surges as you climb the stairs and see several men and goblins lying dead already. The last man standing in the tower shoves the ladder off the wall before the two goblins remaining finish him off.
Combat Speed Initiative (Order of Attack): Azlok > Goblin A > Goblin B
Revlis
You manage to find Captain Belgrath amid the turmoil and find that he has discovered a breach in the lower portion of the palisades and several goblins are pouring through. You watch as the veteran sea captain moves with unexpected fluid grace, cutting a swath of destruction through the flood of swiping and gnashing beasts with his cutlass. A few make it past his flourish however and now prevent you from reaching him!
Combat Speed Initiative: Revlis > Goblin C > Militia > Goblin D
Litaria & Ezarix*(*Assumed)
Arriving at the palisades, you find the battle in full swing. The defenders on the second floor are struggling to prevent further ladders from going up and the militia on the ground and busy trying to seal the breach in the wall. It would seem the western watchtower and the southern breach are in the most dire need of assistance!

Litaria took one look at the carnage that greeted her eyes and felt sick; the stew she had just eaten very nearly made a reappearance. Not one to walk away from a situation that clearly needed her help, though, she took several deep breaths until her nausea was under control.
The western watchtower and the southern breach looked to be in the worst condition. Seeing that the breach was being taken care of by a fancily-dressed man (presumably the captain) and two others, Litaria decided to assist the dwarf facing off alone against two goblins on the western watchtower. She ran up, leaving Ezarix behind to decide who to help, and reached inside herself, feeling the silent pulse of magic within her.
There was no time to lose; the goblins were closing in on the dwarf fast. Litaria shifted to get a better aim and shrieked the words of the magic missile spell. The familiar exhilarating feeling of power from spellcasting flooded her as magic poured down her arms, forming into bolts that she directed at one of the two goblins.

Azlok sprinted up the steps, hearing animalistic noises and feared the worse. Sadly, the worse was true. Several dead bodies that would need to be ceremoniously buried later, littered the stairwell. As Azlok arrived at the top he saw the man kick the ladder down. "Yeh fool!" he shouted as he saw the man become defeated by the creatures. These beasts were beating a dead body, and that just enraged Azlok more. He withdrew his mace from his belt and fueled with rage rushed the goblins head on. Swinging the mace with his moving body empowering it. "Die foul beasts!" he screamed.

As he approached the palisades, the sounds of battle grew ever louder. Once in view, he took to notice where he'd be needed and analyzed the battlefield. Litaria was already rushing toward the western tower, so he decided to aid in fending off the breach. It seemed the more immediate threat.
He charged forward, drawing his spear into the maw of battle. He first directed his assistance to the other elf.

Azlok & Litaria
Attacks Goblin A*! *Assumed
Success!
Your ferocious charge lands a powerful blow on the first goblin's skull, splattering it with a satisfying crunch. As you prepare to turn to face the other beast, it yells as it tries to cut you down from behind!
Litaria casts Magic Missile!
The two homing magical bolts soar in and slam against the primitive creature's torso hard, sending it spiraling over the wall, falling to its doom.
Azlok and Litaria have gained a small amount of experience!

Revlis & Ezarix
The sudden arrival of Ezarix startles the incoming beasts as he lunges forward with his spear.
CRITICAL SUCCESS!
With a shocking amount of force, the elven warrior drives his weapon home, impaling the first creature through its heart and creates such a terrifying spectacle as he heaves it overhead that the other goblin loses all hope and drops its weapons before trying to flee.
The militia, who was none other than Corporal Jierdan, was so inspired by the deadly display that he created his own swath of destruction, throwing a knife from his boot and taking the fleeing little fiend in the neck where he crumpled over in a heap.
Ezarix & Revlis gain a small amount of experience!
((Surprisingly enough, both sets of goblins are dead... time to step it up a notch I guess!))

Captain Belgrath looks behind him and notes how well the defenders are performing before motioning for his men to shore up the breach in the wall. He nearly allowed himself to become optimistic until he heard one of the sentries shout from the wall:
"Godsblood! They've got an ettin! Take co--"
The poor man's words were taken from him as the gangly forty foot tall creature that towered over the palisades brought down his fist upon the eastern ballista installation, crushing everything beneath it. Goblins began climbing in through the gap.
Belgrath bellowed to his men:
"Adjust all remaining siege weapons! Bring it down! Bring it down! Bring that b*****d down!"
The first ballista bolt lodged itself cleanly in the monster's shoulder, and the other firmly into its chest, generating a long-drawn out moan of pain from the beast as it clutched at its wounds. In its frenzy, it stepped over the defenses and into the main courtyard, crushing one poor soldier who was too slow to react.
Belgrath yelled out as he tore through another trio of goblins before beheading a fourth:"Give him every bloody thing we've got! Fire! Fire!"
The remaining archers on the walls turned and took their shots as best they could before falling back to avoid the giant's fury as well as its unusual compatriots that now swarmed over the walls and into the courtyard. The situation was becoming dire.

Azlok smirked as the beast fell to his mace. It satisfied him to reek havoc upon the sinners. He turned to just barely notice the goblin come at him with a knife... then fly out the window. He loughed loudly and heartily. "Dunnae who ye are, but ye have meh thanks," he stated to the fair maiden behind him. He turned to face her. "Name's Azlok, an' yeh are?" was all he managed to ask before-
"Godsblood! They've got an ettin! Take co--" "Adjust all remaining siege weapons! Bring it down! Bring it down! Bring that b*****d down!" "Give him every bloody thing we've got! Fire! Fire!"
Azlok turned to the window to see the Giant being. "Down the steers, now!" he shouted, sprinting towards the stairs himself. Hrolfnir help the fellow who is knocked down, tower and all, for luck is not with him.
Upon arriving on the ground and bursting through the door he took a moment to observe and take everything in. He needed a solution, a way to resolve this destructively large force.

He took the goblin down with ease, and as he did so, it seemed to give a morale boost to some of the others. Just as he was about to push through further, a the ground shook as an Ettin appeared.
He quickly looked around for something he could use. He was running ideas through his head and he would need a Ballista and rope.
Action: Search for a long Rope and a nearby Ballista
