My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Brother Race (first choice): Hippogryph Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): N/A What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A few of his feathers. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?"He always told me I was the featherhead. He was always kind of the...yanno, the dependable one. A stickler for the rules, a little too serious for his own good." He shook his head and clicked his beak a few times in agitation. "Funny that I managed to get out of that wasteland, but in the chaos I guess he got caught up. If he's still alive, maybe you can point him this way. I'd appreciate it."

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Any but a parent would be good. Race (first choice): Wind Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Alicorn What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Some feathers from his own wings and some sparkly rocks that Kali found for him. Short IC Response: Zavis nosed his lifemate gently before making his way out, very cautiously, out into the darkened meadow. She'd understood his want for privacy. He took a deep breath and looked up at the shining star above, lighting the meadow, Zavis' skin twitching nervously, he was never comfortable out of his beloved trees. "Wishing star, i know i've been before you before, asking the same, me and my Lifemate have been trying for children for a while yet but i worry that when we are blessed.. they'll have no knowledge from my family." he sighed and shifted his wings uncomfortably. "They'd have their mother's history but i fear that when asking about other family, i have nothing to tell them" he took a deep breath "I have no memory of my family, nothing, not even vague shadows. If you could guide anyone that used to know me, towards us you would make me a very happy stallion indeed" he closed his eyes and wished very hard to himself. "Please star, i want to be able to give my future foals knowledge of their history on my part" He left the feathers and the shiny rocks on the altar, nosing them carefully before taking one last look at the star "Even if you can't bring them to me, please, keep them safe" and he went, running hard, back into the treeline, back to his beautiful lifemate.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Older Brother Race (first choice): Unicorn/Kirin? Race (2nd choice): Unicorn What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of her lanterns(that won't light) and glowing beads just incase her brother couldn't find the lantern. Short IC Response: Labyrinth glanced down at the lantern as she set it down. She had many of these laying around in her abode. This one had a very deep meaning to it though; it was her first ever gift from someone. Her older brother. With a small sigh Labyrinth's glowing eyes glanced to the skies above. "You granted me my life, a life in which I lead those from the darkness into the light. I hold my lanterns and beads very close to my heart.. For that I hope you grace me with my older brother. A stallion built for this job, he has always done a better one then I could ever.."
She flicked her unicorn tail, taking one of her beads from her hair she settled it beside the unlit lantern. "Please show him the way back home. Like I have shown others the way back to their's.." With that she left, the clearing darkening from being absent of her many glowies. But her bead shone as best it could for Labyrinth's brother.

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Sitting on the damp grass and looking up at the sky, she felt a sort of presence surround her. It held a curious sort of feeling to it and made her feel like she should explain herself. "I'm not sure as to who or what it is you might be, but I would like to introduce myself." She spoke the words slowly and softly with a sad sort of smile. Her eyes began to glitter with tears that threatened to fall. "I have not been good in the past but I have tried my best to be better." She uttered the words but found herself falling sort to explain just how bad she used to be. "I..used to think it was okay to flirt with those who were taken and couldn't take no for an answer towards anything. I met two wonderful beings who changed my life for the better but they have both left my life." She just managed to finish the last word before she started to choke on tears. "I loved him so much and he vanished from my life, I am so lost without his light." Sayoko sobbed the words, not really sure if they could be understood or not. After some sniffles and blinks to clear the tears, she looked around to see if she could see anyone or anything around. There was nothing that could be seen by her eyes. "I don't know if your still around but I want to continue on my path of good, I don't want to be lost again, I just want my light back." She uttered the words and the realization came to her about just how lonely she really was without someone else by her side. 10 Things I Like: Flowers Colorful Things Things that shine/glow Fluffy Feet Fireflies Edited Manes/Tails (long, poofy, fluffy, etc) Things that are out of the ordinary (things that seem out of place) Unique/ Special Trinkets Unique ears Unique Markings (Markings that are special/not normal like hers) 10 Things I Don’t Like: Unedited manes Minis Bald Things Evil Soq Talons BEES,WASPS,ETC - big no Lots of human clothing (sleeves and small things are okay) clashing colors clutter horns What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?: After a while, Sayoko had calmed down and just managed to look up at the night sky at the right time. A star shot across the sky and seemed to glow and shine brighter than the rest and it streaked across the black. She found herself gasping in surprise at the light radiating from the star before she blinked and it was gone. "Wait, no no come back!" She was up on her feet within seconds and trying to run after the star. It was a futile effort though because the star was long gone. Her heart seemed to sink and she started to lose hope that she lost her chance. "In hopes that you are by some miracle still lingering around in that darkness, I desire a best friend by my side. Someone who will bring light, warmth and comfort back into my life. In return for this wish, I will leave you with something things I treasure the most." As she spoke the words she pulled out a rather shiny black feather from her mane, a blue flower and a small shiny and sparkling red gem. The red sparkling rock was what she valued the most but she would gladly trade it for someone to make her happy again. She nudged the items into a circle in the grass where it was she was previously sitting. "I hope we can be friends in the future great star." She spoke the words softer than before and still with the same sad tone but this time it held a hint of hope for a better future.

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Cenotaph shook as she stared into the sky. There were so many others around... So many others who might hear her. See her. Eat her. She didn't know how this thing worked, but she'd been spying on others from the shadows. They all seemed to introduce themselves. "I... I..." She took a breath. "I am Cenotaph, daughter of Copena Jolon and Hard Tack..." She took another breath, this one much deeper than the first. "You see, star... I'm scared. And not about normal things. I'm scared of everything." Her eyes began to fill with tears. "And I'm always so alone. I don't like to be around others because they might eat me. Or hurt me. I just don't know what to do anymore." She winced as the shadowed creature living within her made its way to the surface, cackling and clawing at her skin. It made its way to her ear and the mare began to cry. She looked up to the star, desperately pleading. "Oh, please, star. Help me on this night." 10 Things I Like: 1. Naturals! 2. Fluff! - Manes, tails, hooves, everything! 3. Curly hair 4. The mare had seen the others bring things for the star, and sighed. Sadly, she had not known of this and had to improvise. She glared at the ghoul on her back and mumbled, "I wish I could leave you." Instead, she reached to a bundle of flowers that had fallen apart on the ground in front of her. "We don't get such pretty things out in the dark forest where I live, star. I think they're the prettiest things I've seen." She looked around her to all the other offerings. "I'm sure you can get flowers like these any time you'd like. I'm sorry it's not much... I didn't know." The mare sighed and turned away, certain her wish wouldn't be answered with such a pittance of a gift. Maybe someday she would have her friend.

A piece of her fur and fanged necklace. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Enchante looked upward at the moon with an almost blank look upon her face, it was time to spend out a prayer. Tilting her head back she let out a deep howl into the night hoping for any surviving member of her family to answer her cry. It had been so long ago when the sickness hit and most of her family had died. She had once had so many brothers and sisters but that was then and this was now. A flash off to the left distracted her internal moment of weakness. A shooting star floated across the sky and she knew it was somewhat childish make a wish, but make one she did. "If you can hear me out there... I would like to see at least one member of my family again." She paused awkwardly and looked around feeling almost silly hoping her familiar companion Lyka didn't catch her doing something this... silly. "If possible."

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister preferred, but a brother would be okay too. Race (first choice): Wind Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A ribbon and a feather. Short IC Response: "I've been alone for so long," Denika murmured as she set the feather wrapped in pink ribbon at the altar of the great star that was making it's way across the skies. She had heard the legends of the star; far brighter than any other, it was said that the star could grant you a wish if you wished hard enough and wanted it badly enough. As soon as she'd seen the star, she'd started for the fabled altar, knowing exactly what she would wish for.
Closing her eyes tight now, Denika folded her wings about her, settling them on her back and bowed her head reverently. She would wish as hard as she could, and hope and pray that the Wishing Star would hear her and grant her wish.
"Please, I miss my sister. My heart is so empty without her. If she is still alive, if she's still out there, please bring her back to me," she said, her soft voice carried away on the night's breeze. Carried all the way up to the heavens and the star, she hoped. "Please..."

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Race (first choice): Hippogryph Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Feather Leavings, since material possessions mean little to her. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? It was lonely out there on that cliff face, watching the storm clouds roll round and round as lightening snaked across the bottom. There was just a small patch that revealed the first and only star to be seen that night. "Little star, you are like me. Alone in that small space with clouds to keep you company." Cyclone said as her wings flicked slightly.
"While I love my home, my family, the Thunderbird Herd is home like yours is the sky. But my heart pines for something that was lost. Someone that was left behind all those moons ago. I don't know who or what it is, but something cries at night. I hear it within my dreams, someone crying, ever crying." She looked away a little, those golden eyes watching that small star surrounded by clouds. "If there is a way, a way to stop the crying. To bring who it is to this place, please. I ask, I wish, save that of which is lost. To bring them here and take away their pain. I wish not to hear the crying anymore."
Her topnotch falling back, she just watched the star as it twinkled over head. Hoping, praying that she was heard. With a final sigh, spread her wings to take flight and continue her patrol, leaving behind her offering of her latest malted feathers.

A True Friend
Who is Wishing?: Kawani Persona
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Tomasita pushed her scruffy bangs out of her face and slung the quiver containing her bow and arrows off of her shoulder. She took a seat cross-legged on the grassy hills, hands resting in her lap. “Wow this is weird. I’m talking to a star. Uh, o-si-yo, Wishing Star! Or you know, whatever you’re called. I guess you probably have a real name that no one knows, huh?” The young woman cleared her throat and began picking at the designs dyed onto her leather pants. “I’m Tomasita, one of the Kawani Natives. I used to help my mom make baskets for the Soquili but ever since my brother went missing, I’ve been helping my father hunt.” Her dear, precious twin brother had not been heard of since his hunting party was attacked by a skinwalker. “I’m pretty good at it, I guess. I can’t handle the bigger bows, but my aim is decent.” Tomasita shrugged. She didn’t always hit the bullseye, but it was rare she missed a target altogether. A breeze caressed the moonlit grass, making the woman’s short hair brush and tickle the back of her neck. “The thing is, I don’t wanna stay in the village. I want to go and look for my brother. Or at least find out what happened to him. But my parents say it’s too dangerous to go out alone.” It was a valid point. “However, if I had someone to go with me, someone who could protect me and help me look for him, I think they’d let me go!” She smiled widely, hazel eyes, gazing up at the Wishing Star.

10 Things I Don’t Like: Baldness Braids Visible inner organs Bones Pink Full body/human-esque clothing Small creatures (they’re for eating!) Water Neons
What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Tomasita grabbed her quiver and undid the front pouch. She pulled out a small necklace with an obsidian arrowhead attached, adnored with turquoise beads on either side. “This was my brother’s necklace. He always took off when hunting because he didn’t want to lose it. And now I’ve lost him…” She scowled, staring at the necklace absently. “Anyways, I’m giving this to you now. If it’s in your power, maybe you can use it to help me find him.” She gave it one last look before placing it in the grass. Tomasita straightened up, hooking the quiver back over her shoulder. “Alright, Wishing Star, I’ve got to get going now. My parents will freak if they wake up and find me gone. I’ll see you around, I guess.” The young woman made her way back down the hill, leaving the necklace behind her to glitter under the pale moon.

A lock of his hair Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Apatite's eyes flashed darkly as he brooded. It had been this night, a year ago, that the unspeakable thing had happened. His tail twitched involuntarily. He appeared, to any old observer, to be standing strong, completely unperturbed, but if you looked closely, there was just that extra edge of tension running through his body, across his tail, down over his brow, that hinted that something was very wrong.
His gaze swooped up through the waters to stare at the night sky once more. A bright star shone far overhead. His gaze sharpened into a glare. He took an almost shaky breath, before furrowing his brow and shaking his head. "This is ridiculous." He muttered, before reaching around with his teeth and clenching them down on his mane.
With a sharp tag, he tore off a mouth-full of hair and spat it down on the ground. "Just turn back time. Let him live. Let them all live." Then he turned his back and swam away.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Long Lost Daughter~ C: Race (first choice): Wind Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?: A couple of his feathers and his glasses... Short IC Response: Toki placed his offerings for the bright star before it. Such a bright and glorious thing. He admired the night sky. so seeing a star so brightly shining brought a smile to his face. He only hoped with such admiration he had for it, it could bring him what he was looking for. Continuing to look up at the bright star, he began to make his wish. "Hello Wishing Star, I've heard many great things about you. And I'm hoping you can fill a void I've come to feel. You see, After starting a family with my dear love Elune, and raising my children the best I could, there seemed to be something missing. With my parental instincts growing as my children did, and then them leaving I can't help but feel like there is someone missing from my family..." Toki looked to the ground and then back up to the Wishing Star with a sigh. "You see, I don't like to talk about this, but maybe I needs to be done today. I didn't have the greatest past... I was a delinquent to say the least. Doing whatever I wanted when I wanted. And that included hooking up with mares just as messed up as me. I tried to be careful, but sometimes you just get caught up in whats going on and accidents happen... You know... He paused, starting to think of how hurt his child must have been not to have a father around. It hurt him, thinking about it hurt him. "I know I have a child out there, I just know it. And I need to explain my absence and welcome them into my family... Where they deserve to be." Toki didn't know what else to say to tell the star what he wanted. He was sure it made his point. So all he could do now was smile and hope for the best...

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: - Alt FormTell the wishing star a little about yourself: Bao Li trudged to the alter with a heavy heart. It seemed like there weren't many who understood her. Most of those she befriended ended up hating her or she inadvertently upset them due to her "other half" pulling a mean prank or saying a mean thing to them. Her green eyes flickered towards the brilliant star and a small tear welled within them.
"Oh, Wishing Star..." she whispered softly into the wind. "Please here me a-and grant me this wish."
The wind gently blew her hair about her muzzle and she cracked a faint smile, taking that as a small sign that the star was listening.
"Please, find me a friend. Any friend... someone who understands my..." she hesitated. How do you explain to a star that you possibly having a split personality as considered a deformity in your mind? The spirit mask that plagued her flashed and shimmered in and out of existence, and she shook her head. "... well, me... Understands me. Someone who won't call me a freak or run away from me. Someone who will be a true friend..." She let her wish trail off as she watched it faintly glimmer above her, then sighed.10 Things I Like: -- Minis -- Males -- Anything goes -- (She's a rather open hearted mini. XD) 10 Things I Don’t Like: -- Baldies -- Full body clothing -- (She's also not too picky... XD) What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? "All I have to offer you is this..." She plucked one of the bones from her braids and the string that with it and then managed to - although painfully - pluck a feather from one of her ear-wings before tying the feather and bone together. It took her some effort, but she got the task done. She nosed her 'gift' onto the alter and looked longingly on the star once more.
With one more long look to the star, she left the offering in it's care, hoping the spirits heard her heart's wish....

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister preferred, but not opposed to a brother! Race (first choice): Kirin Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Unicorn What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A couple of her feathers and some fruit gathered together with her familiar. Short IC Response: She glances up once again at the bright star, feeling odd and maybe a tad bit shy in even asking for such a thing, but deep down, the mare truly did have a wish. "Dear bright Star, I know this maybe be silly coming from me," she murmured. "But if you could find it in you to consider my wish, I would be honored and blessed." Taking a deep breath, Dark Side blurted out what she wished for. "I would like to find my sister, if that is at all possible. She and I were different together and she was the only one I ever felt truly close to. And I miss her deeply. I've not seen her since she left Father's herd and... I want to find her again." Perhaps that was a big wish to ask of the Star, but it was the one she always secretly harbored. "Thank you for listening." The mare bowed her head in thanks.

An Extra GiftParent 1: Amaia (AlexiaSilver) UncertParent 2: Vincent (-[The Spoof]-) UncertLink to Breeding Permission: click - special permission for this event only Lifemates: No What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A drop of his own blood and a knife. Short IC Response: Vincent approached the place where he was to leave his offering. It would be good for the family to expand its numbers, and Amaia was suitable enough. Any offspring of theirs could be trained adequately to follow the family's beliefs. He withdrew a knife from it's sheath hidden in his hair and knicked himself with the blade enough to draw a small trickle of blood to the surface. He had taken the knife from Amaia and was now coating it in his blood. Perhaps this would be enough. If not, he could always make more children the old fashioned way.
He placed the knife on the ground, looked up at the sky for a moment, and disappeared back the way he'd come.
