Ow! Oooh! Euuurgh! Ah! Friction, my immortal enemy! Cartwright's eyes begin to get rubbed against the bottom rope and he doesn't like it! He needs his eyes! To like see and stuff! This is some dirty heel shizz going on right now and that job belongs to Cartwright! Cartwright tries to use his hands to grab around Salem's face, he can't see what he is aiming for but the eyes or nose or even mouth would work, anything that he can rake at to try and stop this!

(Sometimes. Haha.) X then slowly started to come to but was still quite dizzy and foggy as she sat propped up against the barricade near the time keepers area. The trainer there asked if she was alright and moved a light in front of her eyes to check for anything unusual, but after a few moments things cleared and the trainer also cleared her saying no concussion and she would only be sore. Which she was, her head was throbbing lightly.

Salem was reveling in his unconventional assault of Cartwright, taking full advantage of the rope friction to try impairing his opponent's vision and resolve. But Cart contested this, flailing his arms wildly to try and tear apart the M.W. Deuce. A stray swipe of Cartwright's hand clawed into Salem's cheek, leaving a fresh gash of red as the rookie yelped, rearing back to shield his face with one hand. Once a couple steps away, Salem would snarl and grab Cart by the back of the neck, trying to run him shoulder-first into the nearby ring post in retaliation!

(Two-day auto?) The wily veteran known as Cartwright was run shoulder-first into the nearby ring post, a 'clang!' heard on impact that sparked a round of cheers from the audience. As Cart staggered a few steps following the collision, the Asylum Champion would catch him by the wrist and jerk him towards the ropes, trying to throw the cocky contender back into the ring with a hard Irish Whip!

Well darn it, Cartwrights desperate attempt to fight back didn't work out very well there did it?! He is now whipped back into the ring with force! Cartwright kneels down in the centre of the ring on his knees and asks for a time out and begging for mercy from Salem!

Salem succeeded in tossing Cartwright back into the ring, looking briefly around at the fans along the barricade as a surge of excitement and adrenaline ran through his veins. Suddenly, the rookie Asylum Champion began beating his chest with his taped fists before grabbing the bottom rope and shaking it wildly with a righteous shout.
"Come on!" Salem yelled, smoking up the crowd as he did a double jump onto the apron, then to the second rope. Spring boarding head over heels overtop the ropes, the M.W. Deuce attempted to nail Cartwright across the back with a front-flip leg drop across the cautious contender's back!

Salem wouldn't even consider Cartwright's offer of a time out! That's so not Based! The Based God would look down on Salem for these unbased actions! Salem must be mad because he has no swag! That's his problem! Well if Salem isn't going to consider Cartwright very reasonable offer of a break right in the middle of a match, then Cartwright is going to roll out of the way of the leg drop! That's karma!

( xd Karma's a b***h!) As Salem soared through the air, the first few rows were lit up by a dazzling display of camera flashes as fans tried to capture the captivating moment forever in their memories...however, as Cartwright cleverly rolled out of the way, this memory would soon become one to be forgotten as Salem's shins struck the canvas with a heavy, hollow thud. The M.W. Deuce's eyes snapped wide open, gripping his calves as he rocked backward in pain, rolling to his side only to see his nemesis in the ring with an arsenal of instruments to incite pain with.

((And it never touches the bad guys! You read that?! NEVER!!!)) Cartwright could see that Salem grabbed his calves, so what the hell, let's try to fluke this! YOLO! Cartwright walks over to Salem's legs, lifts them up and then tries to flip on to him for a classic pinning position as Cartwright firmly grips the legs to give Salem some more pain to think about! ((Can't think of the name right now, Cody Rhodes did it on Raw I think if it helps! XD))

(I've been here, bro. Just wasn't sure what you were going for, honestly - then, I realized the answer was staring me right in the face! xd My bad.) Salem was still suffering from his lackluster leg drop, disoriented and debilitated as fatigue started to ache in his limbs. His reactions were slowing, his recovery becoming more strenuous by the moment. These details conglomerated into a set of circumstances that didn't bode we'll for the Asylum Champion, who suddenly found himself pressed against the mat in a painful pinning combination. Cartwright's crafty and creative cover showcased the contender's cleverness, the referee starting to count the pinfall.
"One!" the official started, Salem struggling to get himself out from under Cartwright's leverage. But his legs didn't have it, unable to pry himself free from his opponent's clutches. Desperately, his hands reached out to attempt something, anything to change his fortunes.
"Two!" the referee continued, fans uproarious with the prospect of a potential pinfall. Just as he'd heard the word, the rookie's wrapped fist gripped something firm and smooth, and blindly, he swung for the fences to attempt clobbering Cart with the object in hand from the many that'd been thrown in by X earlier, this one being a kendo stick! Hopefully he could connect with his counter before the fateful stroke of three!

((Sounds like you got it! Can't find a name for it! D: )) Cartwright could feel a victory within his grasp as Salem was putting up no resistance! He was hooking on to those legs with as much strength as he could when a kendo stick smacks off of Cartwright's chest, forcing him to break the pin as he rolls off of Salem to hold sexy pecs in pain to cheers from the crowd.

(Haha. My bad, I thought I was waiting on you. XD) Salem had narrowly avoided losing his beloved Asylum Title thanks to a little quick-thinking and a lot of hurt courtesy of the kendo stick. The crowd was quick to get out of their seats at the sight of Cartwright writhing in agony, but the M.W. Deuce was slower to get on his feet, struggling to pull himself back up to a vertical base by using the ropes for leverage. His legs were still stiff and sore from Cart's snobby submission/pinfall, leaning against the top rope with weapon in-hand while waiting for his opponent to start trying to stand.

Snobby submission pins are where it's at! If it ain't snobby, it ain't worth trying! And if anyone knows about snobbery, it's somebody as swag-tastic as Cartwright! That obey cap ain't cheap you know?! Cartwright moves his hands away from his chest as he gets back to his feet and looks at Salem, still struggling with his legs, like a shark that smells blood.
