*Dio caught the beer and popped the capped off sending it spiraling into the air falling somewhere behind him. He then chugged the beer downing it in mere seconds. He then removed the bottle from his mouth and let out a sigh of satisfaction followed by a loud belch. He then turned to Kyrai and simply responded.*

"Do bears still s**t in the woods?"

*Dio softly chuckled at Kyrai's comment.*

"Yeah you've got a point. I'm still debating whether she was serious about that making me go boom threat.."

*Dio saw Kyrai place the case of beer on the table in front of him and his eyes lit up with delight.*

"Where the hell have you been hiding this treasure trove I tore the kitchen apart last night looking for some type of alcohol that wasn't meant to treat wounds. Also we're out of rubbing alcohol."

*Dio reached into the case and pulled out another beverage popping the top off in the same fashion as before but deciding to nurse this one for his enjoyment. He then looked at Kyrai and sighed heavily.*

"Well to be 100% honest, I don't really know. After GIT basically disbanded I tried to find some honest work but as you might have imagined fast food service doesn't really fit my skill set so I turned to a bit of bounty hunting for a good while. That kept the bills paid for the most part and got me enough start up cash to start tracking Yadi who I then followed for a few more years until we finally wound up here. I didn't really have a map or anything with me and my GPS bit the dust so I just stayed focused on following Yadi from the shadows."

*He took another sip of beer before continuing.*

"I don't know how she really feels about that. She seemed kinda creeped out by it, but you know you can't trust a woman to take care of herself so I kept an eye on her."

*Dio sat back on the sofa and nodded to Kyrai he took his leave.*

"Good seeing you too Kyrai."

*Dio sighed heavily as he had now had his work cut out for him. Finishing an entire case of beer was quite the task especially if it was to be performed alone. But his determination was unfaltering and prepared himself for the adventure by performing a few simple stretches.*

"Alrighty golden nectar of the gods. Looks like it's just me and you tonight. Seems like that's been the story for quite awhile now...."

*Drinking alone throughout the night had been one of Dio's favorite pastimes ever since he had been living a life of seclusion beginning all those years ago when his friends all left him behind and he was forced to cope by turning to alcohol and the other sinful pleasures life had to offer. One bottle after another he downed like it was second nature to him. He began to dwell on thoughts of where his life would go now. Now that his friends were back. Now that Yadi was back. The conversation between her and Kyrai earlier began to flood his thoughts once again. There was no denying that they still had strong feelings for one another. Yadi always wore her emotions on her sleeve and was very easy to read. He had known her for such a long time and spent years tracking her and watching from the shadows longing to be a part of her life again but he knew she had her own path to forge and he would not interfere. Before Dio realized it, there were already half a dozen bottles surrounding him. The cleaning robots refused to go near him after his earlier episode which resulted in the permanent deactivation of their fellow android. Another bottle was opened and quickly voided of it's contents as Dio continued the process of drowning his sorrows. He finally had his chance to be with the woman he fell for all those years ago, however everything had become complicated by the return of Kyrai who also had taken his childhood best friend from him. The though angered Dio but he knew it was what Kyle was meant for and he knew that Kyrai's return was something Yadi had wanted dearly. Frustration overwhelmed Dio causing him to throw a bottle at blinding speed across the room and shattering it against the wall. The sudden violent action caused several of the janitorial robots to go scurrying in multiple directions fearing as they might become the object of his anger. Dio opened another bottle and began to notice his vision was becoming blurry and it was difficult to keep his eyes focused. Felicia also worried him. He hadn't seen his sister since the 'incident' and he wasn't sure how she'd react if she did finally find him. Would he be on the receiving end of another brutal beating or would she finally have come to terms with what happened and greet Dio like the family he was, her one and only brother. Dio reached into the case for another beer but found it was completely empty. All 12 bottles had finally been drank and not a drop of beer was left. Dio kicked back on the sofa and buried his face into the same pillow Yadi had been using before Kyrai had taken her to the guest bedrooms. The faint smell of lavender could still be detected on the pillow and it brought Dio some comfort. It wasn't long before he had succumbed to his intoxication and began to slowly drift off to sleep. Thoughts of events to come riddled his dreams and he hoped for the best but as always, expected the worst.*

Kara stood outside the building, staring up at the walls and the doors that never seemed to fall into dis-repair no matter how long it had been since she had been away. Her mind wandered back to all of the fun times that had been had here and shuddered back from all the danger.

She wished heartily that she hadn't grown up, grown away from her family here. She wished that things had still been normal and yearned for her childhood back. She missed her mother, her siblings and her Father.

Life wasn't the same without them. She took a step towards the doors, something drawing her in. Then she blinked in surprise. The lights were on in the main lobby. She tilted her head, very confused, before she stepped inside. "Who's there?" she called out, her voice falling flat on her own ears and she wondered what it sounded like to others.

Kara paused in the doorway. There was a gun on the table and a grunting sound coming from behind the couch. "Who are you?" she called out in a quiet voice, before moving quietly over to peer at whoever was in her old home. When she saw him, she gasped and stumbled back. "Y... You! What?!" she shook her head in disbelief. "What are you doing here?"

"When did you get here?" she asked. "I've been stopping in from time to time but i haven't seen anyone until recently. This place has been..." she stopped, "Well. You know." Her foxy ear twitched. "I miss mom," she said softly.

"Years. It's been years since I've seen her," she said softly. "Ah, two years, huh?" Then she did a double take. "You guys? Who else has come back?"

Her eyes widened and she sat down heavily on the couch. "Yadi's here? Oh, Gods." she sounded worried and almost a little sick, "I can't..." she swallowed hard, "I... How is she?" she asked in aa very small voice that sounded more fitting to her childhood self.
