Shu appeared to be more at ease than what she was earlier from when she began her training session. Chuckling at her first remark, Shu smiled at her as she bowed before her out of respect. "There's no need for such formalities madame. If anything, I should be giving you a bow, considering that you're a member of the legendary Royal Guard." She then remained quiet as she began to listen to Houmei's words.
She did speak some truth about her zanpakuto not being a weapon and all. Shu couldn't deny what she was saying, though she did have the urge to protest one thing about her words. "My main problem with my zanpakuto, Sensō no megami, is that she loves to take on various forms. Most zanpakuto take on the form of one weapon, and maybe two on some rare occasions, but my zanpakuto in particular has five different forms."
Pausing, her zanapkuto then started to turn into black energy, as it eventually started to change form. "Beruserukusōdo!" Once done, her zanpakuto changed appearance from a naginata to a black dadao."See what I mean? I try not to treat my zanpakuto as a weapon, but sometimes I just have to when it comes to learning how to properly wield some of her forms. I'm just glad this is my last shikai form to fully master before I can begin bankai. Shame that won't happen for another five years."
Pausing, she then noticed a voice yelling inside the training grounds. Looking in that general direction, Shu couldn't mistaken the voice to be none other than the lieutenant of the Seventh Division, Santiago Hale. "Santiago! Is that you?" Yelling with some curiousity, Shu didn't really bother with stepping forth and checking to see if it was him or not, as she was more interested in this member of the Royal Guard, considering that she never actually meet a member of the Royal Guard, and her father sure as hell didn't count as a member considering the fact that he turned down such a position...

Glancing back at the young lady, Houmei was silent as she protested. Shu spoke of its five forms and then willed it to change shape into a Chinese saber. It was interesting to watch, to say the least, being that Houmei hadn't seen one that could change forms; not like that anyway. Not one that had five actual forms, only ones that could change shape. She wondered if, perhaps, the Spirit inside was a stubborn little thing, and that was the reason for her struggles. If so, Shu was going to have a hard time with Bankai in the future. Or maybe they didn't see eye to eye.
Or so she thought, up until Shu mentioned something that caught her attention. So it was simply an issue of learning the basics of the weapon and understanding the mechanics of it. Not simple in execution, but simple in principle. Houmei couldn't say how similar a naginata was to a sabre in terms of use, although she sure knew how to fend one off. It was tricky to proceed without seeming standoffish.
There came a knock on the door and someone's voice rang out. It sounded like a male, Houmei mused, turning her eyes upon the door. It was not as though it was her dojo, so she wasn't going to deny anyone entry. Once they were let in or walked out, Houmei continued."I understand your frustrations, young one, but my advice remains the same. Take whatever process you did for the one in your hand and apply it to the other. But enough words, I think. You won't get far on a stagnant dummy. If you're four weapons in, it should start flowing naturally when you're forced to learn."Houmei paused, flipping the katana around and sliding it back in place."Come then, make that pole arm again and attack with all your might. Young man, feel free to jump in. I wouldn't be worth much if I couldn't handle two youngins at once."

☆ ★ ✪Santiago stood there feeling what was going on, which for now was very little. He waited and still no answer but then he felt a fluctuation in energy from the Lieutenant. Not knowing what was going on he stood anyways thinking of everything that could be going on assuming that it was just a training session since that's what this area was used for according to the random members of the squad that decided to help him. That's when he heard the lieutenant's voice from inside the training grounds pleasantly surprised him. The voice belonged to Shu Feng Hiroshi, one of the vice-captains to Squad 4, one of the strongest Lieutenants, and daughter of the captain. The question she had asked was if it was indeed him.
"YES IT IS SHU!" Santiago answered back, disregarding any titles.
☆ ★ ✪He waited a bit expecting the door to be opened, however he was still left outside. He considered it strange that she would acknowledge him, yet refuse him entrance. He figured it had something to do with the mysterious energy with her and waited patiently for either one of them to let him in. As he stood there he started registering what they were discussing coming to the conclusion that Shu was still trying to master his shikai, a skill that he had to do too. The raven haired boy had heard rumors of her shikai possessing multiple forms, but hadn't actually witnessed it. He figured that it must be very difficult to master so many different weapons considering his own difficulty in being fluid with one form much less five. Because of this he held a respect for her and her skillful mastery in the forms that she did have mastered and her swordsmanship on top of that.
☆ ★ ✪At some point he quit focusing on what was on the other side of the door once he felt and started hearing the footsteps to the door. He saw an unexpected sight once the door was open. It was someone from the Royal Guard, Seiran Houmei to be exact. She wasn't who had expected to see and being so close he could feel her power even though she wasn't even unleashing any of it. He walked in listening quietly to what she was saying to Shu.
'Wise words from a true master.' he thought to himself.
He watched carefully seeing her put her weapon back and turned to look at Shu at what she was doing. He turned back quickly to face Seiran Houmei once she said that he could join in. He hadn't planned on sparring with anyone, much less someone from the Royal Guard, but decided it would be for best since he to needed to master his shikai eventually. He turned to Shu to speak to her quickly.
"Only if Lieutenant Shu allows me to," being respectful once more.
Santiago had placed a hand behind his head reaching for his zanpakuto in case, preparing for anything that was going to happen in front of him.

Shu smirked at her comment about her past training. "Oh if only that were true. Though who knows? Sensō no megami might give me a break and who knows? I might even get the chance to learn bankai earlier." Chuckling, Shu knew that bankai training was long from her grasp right now, as she still needed to complete the mandatory five year training for her last shikai weapon.
After hearing Houmei's words, Shu's weapon started to turn into black energy, as it started to take form of her previous shikai weapon she was using earlier. "Nihon no ryū Rīchi!" Once yelling out the weapon's name, it fully took on it's true form, as it stood in it's full glory. "Very well. Just try not to wipe the floor with me during this spar, alright?" Smirking, she then used shunpu and appeared a few feet in front of the Royal Guard member.
Swinging her weapon towards her opponent, Shu was cautious with giving enough space between herself and her opponent. She wanted to get a better feel of the weapon's long range capabilities, as it could prove to be quite useful for her on the battlefield. "Oh man, I hope to God she doesn't destroy me with this training session of her's."

☆ ★ ✪Santiago viewed Shu's zanpkauto transform for the first time ever changing from the weird looking knife into a huge spear like weapon. It was something that was strange yet interesting. Viewing it he wondered what the other forms looked like if those two looked awesome the other must be equally awesome. He loved it and it's idea, but he wouldn't trade his zanpakuto for any other zanpakuto no matter how awesome it looked because his zanpakuto is something that has helped him survive. He then laughed at the comment made by Shu saying about Seiran wiping the floor with her. He then stopped to think about it realizing that she would be wiping the floor with him too since he was likely to join in.
☆ ★ ✪As soon as he thought that Shu began her training using a very quick shunpo to get to the Royal Guard member. It was quite impressive considering he was so slow compared to hers. He decided to pull out his zanpakuto from the sheathe behind him and put it in a defensive position, the sword going at a diagonal angle at 45 degrees. With that he used a shunpo of his own to get on the left side of Seiran doing a diagonal slice that would be coming from in front of her aiming to cut her from the bottom of her stomach up to just below the cervical part of the spine if it were to hit.
☆ ★ ✪As he attacked he planned out his next attacks based on the different ways that the member would react. He had chosen his attack to avoid conflicting with Shu's attack since she needed to work on her "Nihon no ryu Richi" and would try to make it to where it was easier for her to practice her basics on the guard member, not that he would be able to do much seeing as how much stronger she would be compared to him and possible Shu together. If Seiran were to move to her right he still might be able to hit her with the tip of his sword but that wasn't likely so he guessed that she would probably use her own shunpo to escape and get away quickly and easily, in which case he would attempt to get chase after her even though he probably wouldn't be able to keep up if she evading. His best bet was to follow Shu's lead and assist her in hes attacks anyway he could.

A very forward attack by the female; it wasn't bad, perse, but it was quite direct. Houmei put the least effort into dodging it as possible, sliding her feet backwards to avoid being cut by the weapon. While it would have been simple to proceed like this, simply dodging everything Shu had to offer, it wouldn't do much good for the young lady in long terms. So while Santiago appeared on her left, Houmei's hand was already on Suzaku's hilt.
In response to his swing, she pushed the handle down, rotating the entire weapon around using her sash as an axis-- twisting in the process-- to simply smack it away with the weapon's saya. Immediately following this, whilst it was still upside down, Houmei pulled the weapon, saya and all, from her sash and altered her stance, but not before tossing the boy aside with Sho aimed at his midsection. Dropping into a partial crouch with both knees bent, left arm drawn back and right extended forward, she grasped Suzaku's hilt with her left hand and rested the tips of the fingers of her right hand saya nearest the blade's tip.
All in all, the dodge, block and action of her taking a stance was done in under two seconds. Come the third, Houmei thrust her saya forwards at Shu, aimed at her chest. The original attack was deadly, fast enough to stab her before she could react. But this was training; Houmei drastically lowered the speed and power to just slightly above what Shu could naturally adapt to. She was putting pressure on her, purposefully, to make her learn.

Shu wasn't surprised when she noticed that she effortlessly dodged her attack, as it was expected for someone who was in the fabled Royal Guard. She regained her footing and jumped banck, as hse watched her effortlessly dodge Santiago's attack with ease, and suddenly noticed her weapon coming straight her way. Without hesitation, Shu managed to narrowly dodge the attack thanks to shunpu and the fact that her opponent had to hold back considering these two were only lieutenant level opponents.
Appearing above her opponent, she swung her zanpakuto down towards Houmei's back, as she was going to make sure that she could exploit this to her advantage. "Come on! Please let this move work!" Thinking to herself, Shu was worried that this woman's speed might be incredible. If this were the case, this would certainly become a trouble detail for Shu for the duration of this spar.

☆ ★ ✪Santiago wasn't very surprised at the perfect dodge and defensive tactics that changed into an attack all in the same motion. Her entire counter was very fluid and perfect, showing off part of the reason why she was a member of the Royal Guard even though she was taking it easily. He was easily flung away and was attacked with a Sho without even saying the spell name. A piece of him was glad that he was a master at defensive moves quickly covering himself with the top half his zanpakuto. He wasn't quick enough to cover the entire blast though and got hit with the top half of the kido pushing him backwards causing him to flip until he gained control catching onto the air using the same principals as standing on air. With his zanpakuto sealed still he probably wouldn't be able to help Shu very much so he decided to use his shikai.
☆ ★ ✪The black haired boy let his Spirit pressure to fluctuate as he focused on his zanpakuto spirit.
"Here we go." he said to himself before saying out loud, "“Look into the soul and show them their fate, Tenkū no fōchunterā!"
His zanpakuto started flashing and it broke apart. At the same time the sky started changing darkening, starting at where he was starting. The darkness started spreading through the sky and stars started flashing. His entire zanpakuto had disappeared and had started turning into 22 rectangular shapes around him. The cards stopped flashing and stayed floating around him. The sky at this point was completely black with stars shining brightly enough that there was almost no change in lighting. At that point his spirit pressure calmed back down going back to normal. The cards started moving around him as he started going forward to get back into the fray.
☆ ★ ✪By the time that he had finished releasing his zanpakuto Shu was already in motion with her attack and decided to wait for Seiran's move before he started helping out Shu.

Only a fool left their weapon extended after such an attack; Houmei drew it back sharply."I thought this was Shikai practice, young lady." She said calmly. A readjustment of the weapon soon had it over her shoulder, kashira aimed at the descending Lieutenant while the other released. That was of no consequence; it wasn't like it could distract her; it was pretty though."Wide open."Houmei said calmly, glancing over her shoulder.
Hand on Suzaku's saya, Houemi thrust it backward (across her shoulder) so fast and so sharply that it created a burst of air meant to strike Shu's weapon and toss her back just enough. It was also possible the recoil would make the pole collide with her face; Houmei wouldn't make fun of her or anything, of course. The speed at which she had shifted the saya made her shoulder red from the friction."Practice parrying more often; sometimes you simply cannot dodge."She added, taking her eyes away from the fourth lieutenant.
Onto the seventh. Straw sandals scraped across the floor as she overtook the young man. Naturally she wasn't lenient about it, not giving him much time to think before she was close enough to cut him down. In fact, she was quick enough that flame had only started to spread across her wound beneath her clothes just then. Instead of assaulting the boy with her sheathed weapon, however, she chose to bring down the end of the saya on the ground in front of him. The floor cracked outwards, cratering, as a shock wave rippled from the point of impact, able to throw him backwards. Houmei was not honestly happy about this attack, feeling it counter-productive to training, but perhaps it would draw him into attacking so she could spend her time defending against both of them.

Satetsusen (刺鉄閃, Iron-Piercing Flash) [On Shu] Houmei performs a thrust with her weapon that is so quick and powerful that it creates a highly-compressed blast of air strong enough to blow a hole through a metal wall. If it doesn't cripple the opponent, it will certainly fling them backwards.
Kagonotori (籠の鳥, Caged Bird) [On Self] While sealed, a fraction of Suzaku's power leaks out, as if the wings of a bird through the bars of a cage. It grants Houmei her most basic ability; regeneration on a small scale, or healing through flames. When she sustains small amounts of damage, normal-colored flames spread across the wound and repair the damage within a second. This works on cuts, sprains, bruises, etc. With bigger wounds, Houmei would need to release her Zanpakutō in order to heal it.
☆ ★ ✪Santiago viewed as Seiran quickly counter Shu, making it look like child's play, yet still acting as a mentor giving instruction as she blocks. It was impressive to view the strength and intriguing to see that her zanpakuto seemed to have abilities even as though it is sealed. He wondered if it was something that she trained or something that is unique to her zanpakuto. The black haired boy quickly shook his head once, not having time to focus on something so trivial at the moment, but in that moment that he took his eyes off of Seiran, she was already in front of him. The attack that he believed she was going to perform was wrong. He assumed that she was going to attack him straight on so he started to move his hand to try to get about six cards to block him, the cards lining up in a diagonal each one filing in to get a guard but it was for nothing since she had attacked the ground, sending him back flying with the shock wave. The cards in front of him blocked some debris that came flying at him but he decided to try to attack since she was so close to his cards.
☆ ★ ✪As he flew backwards he sliced downwards with his hands sending the six he used to defend forward to attack her but figured they were to slow to get her.
With his palm forward, Santiago chanted the spell, " Hado #1. Thrust (衝, shō)!"
The extra push of the kido pushed the six cards faster aiming straight for Seiran's front. They would impale if they hit since each cards was as sharp as a knife. As he continued backward he used his other hand to bring the other sixteen cards behind him to stack with a little bit of arm between them to cushion them using the flat side of the card so he wouldn't cut himself. As he got closer to the wall he felt each card as they stacked up pushing a little bit into his back to keep him from hitting the wall. The little pockets of air helped the impact from hurting anymore than what it was, but figured that it was better than hitting the wall behind him. Once he had regained his footing, the cards returned around him, the only ones that had yet to come back were the ones that he had used in his attack. He started moving around towards Seiran, opening his hands up. Four of the cards spread apart around the royal guard member in her current position. He closed his hand to bring the cards in towards the one point, which was Seiran's body.

As Shu went in for the attack, she noticed that her weapon came straight towards her shikai, as without warning, she was sent flying back. The force of her attack was enough to make her own weapon whack her right in the face, as she slid across the floor, groaning. "Damn. Just how strong is this woman?"
Sighing, Shu eventually composed herself, as she got back up and looked at her opponent, as she watched also easily counteracted Santiago's attack. "Damn. She's good..." Surprised, Shu continued her attempts to land a successful attack on her opponent. This went on for a few minutes, and eventually went on for a few hours, as the next day eventually fell on the Seireitei. They went at it all night.
Shu was drenched in sweat, as she gasped for air, exhausted beyond belief after her fight. She made her zanpakuto turn into black energy, as it disappeared and turned into it's sealed state. Shu sheathed her zanpakuto and eventually got up after catching her breath. Reaching in her pocket for some water and a green pill, Shu drank some water and eventually swallowed the pill, as she eventually felt awake and less exhausted than she was before.
"Props to you Houmei. I gotta say this has been quite the training session. Nevertheless, thanks for the pointers." Shu smiled, as she seemed to be rather grateful that Houmei took her own time to give her some pointers, as well for her fellow lieutenant, Santiago. Turning to him, Shu waited for him to compose himself after the spar. "Oh hey, don't forget about that meeting Commander Tennyou called for. We're apparently supposed to be in attendance, so don't forget man, alright?" With that, Shu waved good bye to the two and proceeded to head over to the Royal Council Room. [Exit]

An attack propelled by Kidō came at her."Creative, I'll grant you that much. Needs improvement."Came her remark as she smacked them out of the air so quickly it seemed like she'd only made a single sweep of the weapon through the air."If you had charged them with lightning, I may have had a little trouble."Her suggestion was vague; rather, it was to the point, but the ability to do so was a whole other thing. He hit the wall and around her were cards; it sure was an interesting Zanpakutō this one possessed. It felt... somewhat similar to her own in a loose sense. Houmei was already prepared to deal with the return of the ones she had smacked away, so dealing with those was little trouble at all.
Of course, she chose not to and instead demonstrated the perceived flaw in his plot, which was that they only covered two dimensions, not three. There were too many gaps to choose from, she picked a single one and bum-rushed him yet again. Instead of striking him, however, she pointed the end of the sheath at his throat. With her Kenatsu, it would feel like a blade was at his throat. But instead of stabbing him, Houmei whipped around and swung her weapon, flicking the saya from the sword hurtling at the female lieutenant. And she was gone. In the split second Shu would take to react to the flying sheath, Houmei would attack her from a blind spot with the sword drawn but turned around.
And somehow she'd get out of that off screen. But it was not to be seen, no. Time passed by quickly and before she knew it, hours had been tossed away in lieu of a training session. As to be expected, Houmei hadn't broken a sweat. But then again, high resistances to heat and a replenishment of stamina would prevent such a thing. Soon enough, it was time to part. To Shu's thanks, she expressed that it was her pleasure, bowing humbly to her in return. Her stance shifted just a bit, her right hip jutting out while she placed the back of her knuckles on her waist.
Prying open a single eye, Houmei tapped her shoulder with the sheathed weapon, watching the youngsters head out while contemplating her next move. Shu mentioning the Sōtaichō got her thinking about what she had previously cast aside, that she'd been looking for the woman before being side-tracked by the munchkins in need. While she was busy thinking, the flaming spirit congealed himself on her other shoulder, nipping at her ear after he didn't get the attention he wanted. The pain quickly subsided, and after giving the avian's beak a light flick, as if to scold it, Houmei returned her weapon to her sash and glided out the door.

☆ ★ ✪Santiago listened the words coming from Seiran. It was something that he should have done, but it would be something that he had to practice. Regardless of how good he was at kido, and he did excel in kido more than anything, he always had a little trouble using two different spells at once, even if they were two low leveled spells since it takes different energies. He had assumed that with the added speed he might have been able to at least scrap her but her swordsmanship was so quick that she quickly knocked them out of the sky. They returned to him and his next attack was defected just as quickly. He was pretty clever in the way he used his skills but they were still nothing to the member of the Zero Squad. She ended up in front of him and getting close enough to him to cut him had she had her zanpakuto unsheathed yet he felt a blade to his throat anyways. 'Must be another one of her sealed abilities...' he thought to himself.
He relaxed when the both the weapon and the owner were gone from him and he quickly sent out his cards to help out Shu from the attacks with either from the sword or from Seiran herself not that she would mind probably. He shunpo'ed closer to get himself with in range for another attack. Then another. Then another. He and the other two continued on, sadly without dealing any more damage than how they had started to Seiran. They continued for the night and into a part of the morning before they stopped.
Santiago was panting and and sweating. He long since taken off his top not really minding showing his skin off to the two women seeing as how he was around more women whenever he was in the forge without his top on. They had decided to call it a day seeing as how they had gone into the next day which was when the big meeting was, which he hadn't even remembered until Shu had mentioned it before leaving. Soon Seiran left leaving him to stand there. He picked up his top not really having much choice in the matter but to put it back on seeing as how he would probably be late unless he went straight to the meeting area. He willed for his zanpakuto to return to it's sealed state and he decided to carry it around rather than put across his back. He looked around at the training ground seeing all the damage the place had taken during their training period before leaving but as he left he felt the weight of using so much energy in a day had done to him. He took a step and felt all the energy drain from him. He started feeling warmer, like a fever and he felt his body heavy. He didn't have a special pill or something that could make him feel better so he decided to just suck it up until the meeting was over.

After leaving the Underground Hospital Complex, Shu brought Junshiro over to the Hidden Training Grounds that was assigned specifically for Shu to train with her sensei's over the years. Being the daughter of the Captain of the Fourth Division did come with it's perks, and this was certainly a perk by all means. Arriving at the entrance. As Shu entered the training grounds, she noticed that there were several unseated members of the Fourth Division who were finishing up with cleaning up the training grounds, as all the old dummies were replaced with new ones and everything inside the training grounds was fully cleaned. Shu thanked the seated shinigami, as they all left the training grounds, leaving Shu alone with Junshiro.
"Welcome to my personal little sanctuary Junshiro. Not many are allowed here since my pops had this renovated for my shikai training. Anyhow, so what's the rules for this spar Junshiro?" Asking with a grin, Shu wanted to see how much her skills improved in comparison to her last spar with the man, which barely lasted that long considering the difference of power between the two.

As Junshiro followed her out of the elevator, he had seen the giant doors. Amazed, he was surprised to find that squad four had this place hidden. When he entered into the room with Shu, he saw some of the random squad four members cleaning up and had already replaced many of the dummies with new ones. He looked at Shu when she had asked him what are the rules for the spar, which he had to think for a moment. He had noticed she didn't call him Puff Balls which means she been wanting a spar to test her skills. He knew how Shu work, and he knew she wasn't one to mess with especially with Kido. He then smiled"Well well well..."he said as he began to lay out the rules."Okay...we will use shikai if things get interesting, sadly though my zanpakuto she is in a mood right now."he said laughing a little.
"She thinks I don't show her off enough."he said as he looked up to the ceiling"hahahha wemon.."he had thought. Forgetting she could hear his thoughts, not Shu's , Kami had slapped Junshiro in the back of the head which he had a twitching eye look on his face. He shook it off after a few seconds, which he had quickly thrown his haori over on a dummy."Well Lady Shu how about some hakuda first then kido, all the way to zanjutsu?"he said as he stood firm. He began to crack his knuckles, and pop his neck to loosen up a little.
