User Image Kita took a step back, bending over to look more closely at the woman's hair. It was unusually green, and it seemed to change in length, not to mention the strange flowers sprouting from the top of her head. Were they moving? No, they couldn't be. She jumped back when the woman stood up, asking about why she had to do this or that. Obvoiusly, the woman, Renne, as it had been provided, had no idea how slaves worked when in a high-class store, or hotel. The sprite had had some fun watching Renne crawl out of the closet, wondering if she crawled a lot, and if it was possible to get the woman to crawl across a table like women did in movies and books. Oh, she would love to have dessert before dinner, or better yet, she would eat something a little different for dinner. A devilish grin found its way onto her lips as she thought about it. Oh yes, it would be fantastic.

"Well, the men want you to go to the front desk and then they make you fill out a form about your home life, and what purpose you would like to use the slave. They then give you some options that fit what you want, and you then can wander around in this rooms. Some people come here looking for someone to clean, and others for something a little more sexual." Kita winked at the woman, folding her hands behind her own back so she wouldn't accidently grab anything and scare the green flower haired Renne away. Maybe she was looking for something of the sort. She wasn't the type to be bought for that sort of use, but since this Renne was so adventurous and lovely, she might have the woman thinking she were the pleasure slave, and not Kita."So, Renne, what are you looking for?"

I'd go walking under a paper moon...

Renne did not like the grin she was seeing upon Kita's lips. It was paranoia that was starting to settle in as she scratched the side of her head a little, something a small domesticated animal would do when trying to scratch their ear. The young elf heard her out, though. Her face contorted to a look of disgust briefly--not liking the term "slave." "I am not looking fer anyone to either of those sorts." It was peculiar that she kind of brushed over the wink...or was just completely oblivious to it. Possibly both. "Me parents belie'e that I am not mature enough to handle the Gardens on me own. So, they told I to go find an assistant in the ads." A shrug came and went. "Chose here instead. It would be approximately the same price, but at least I would be able to con'erse with the folks more freely rather than in inter'iew format."

Finally getting a chance to look around the room, even without permission, Renne realized there was really not much here. Glancing upwards to the daisies, who were more curious about Kita than anything else in the room, Renne finally turned about on her heels and clasped her hands together--luckily, it was muffled thanks to the fingerless gloves. "Moon sprite, correct?" Good to know Renne was mostly paying attention. It was then she started mumbling to herself; looking up to the rather boring-looking ceiling and started to count off a few things--or at least it seemed like it when her fingers were moving as if calculating. This was where the young elf unintentionally ignored Kita--going off into her own calculating world as she paced back and forth; careful not to be so heavy-footed. Her face contorted to a pondering look, lips pursed to the side and a bit of tongue sticking out from the opposite side.

It was only a brief moment, though, that Renne's face continued to stay contorted before finally straightened out and finally turned back to face Kita. Sadly, whatever--or if she did--Kita said while Renne was pondering was simply thrown out the door as the young elf paid absolutely no attention to it whatsoever. "From what I can recollect from me studies 'bout yer species, which is really not much in the first place, ye like outdoors. That also states the ob'ious when I came in here and ye were just singing fer no apparent reason; which I like by the by, but that is not the point." Ah. Nerves were getting to her now, babbling was the nerves' best friend. "Me apologies fer not doing it the proper way as the Hotel desires it, but would ye like to be me assistant fer the Gardens? It is the city gardens, but me parents and I created it. Well, that and it is on me property as well, so it would only make sense to keep the guardianship in the Archer family. Or else it would be just a big kerfuffle and most likely the peonies would start the riot and it would be a bigger mess than the shrubbery riots of the Camelot Age."

User Image Kita wrinkled her nose, wiggling it as she found herself being temporarily ignored with the exception of Renne making sure she had her facts straight. Yes, she was a moon sprite, and no, she didn't like being ignored. Her hands wet firmly on her hips, and she stomped her foot, about to say something about people rudely having conversations with themselves after barging into other peoples' rooms and asking them to keep it a secret. She wasn't asking for much, just a bit of acknowledgment that she was even there, which was given the moment Renne stopped pacing and opened her mouth to talk about the garden. Kita's eyes grew wide, glowing a bit at the excitement.

"A garden? Are there lots of flowers? Oh! I just love flowers! Do you have any moon flowers? They're my favorite. I'd love to help you with the garden." Her face fell then, and she dropped her head, embarrassed. "Oh, but it wasn't the plants' fault back then. The sun sprite and I got into a big fight, and some of the other sprites and fairies tried to stop us, which displaced our magic and made the plants angry. We didn't mean to." Kita slowly looked up, her lips still a bit pouty, until her moonlight ball came to float in front of her and she grabbed it, letting a smile on her face. The ball was right, she needed to pack if she was going to go somewhere. She stepped back over to her closet, and reached for her suitcase, which just so happened to be tucked away at the top of the closet. She was too short. She grabbed a chair and drug it over, standing on it as she brought down her suitcase, and then glared back at Renne. "I'm a sprite, you can't expect me to be tall."

Quirking an eyebrow a little bit, having flowers grow out of one's head kind of states the obvious there would be flowers in the gardens; but she did not say anything. Only giving a nod instead to both the flower question and the moon flowers; she just did not want to admit quite yet the gardens are quite peculiar. Kita will figure it all out in due time, though. Renne's face contorted to when the young woman spoke about her and the sun sprite. That was not her history books stated--she made a mental note to dig further into that. In the meantime, the daisies had a look of curiosity when they--along with Renne--saw the ball float in front of Kita. The yellow daisies seemed to have started to converse amongst themselves before the young woman started to drag the chair over to the closet. Renne chuckled a little before shaking her head slightly. "Hence I lo'ing shoes so much." Taking off one of the heels with ease, she slumped down to where the white stocking foot was on the ground, seeming she was maybe an inch taller than Kita herself, if that.

Placing her shoe back on, Renne brushed her dress downward a bit before heading to the door.
"Take yer time getting ready. I do not know how long it will take fer them to reprimand I followed by filling out anything necessary to get ye out of here." Giving an assuring smile and a small nod of affirmation, she headed out the door and closed it behind her before heading back towards the front area--but, ya know, being escorted by two of the guards.

User Image

Nearly an hour--and some raised voices--later, Renne came back with the guard Kita spoke to in regards of her food. It was the young elf, however, that only came into the room. "Okay. So, technically, ye are not a'ailable to I. Long story, but I am taking ye regardless." Defiance and determination could be Renne's middle names at this moment. Quickly taking off both of her shoes and holding them with one hand, her other hand took a hold of Kita's free wrist, lightly though, before turning about to reach and give a light knock on the door with the toe bit of her shoes. Quickly looking back to Kita and her ball, there was another barely above whisper. "We all ha'e to keep quiet and be as quick as possible, we only ha'e four minutes. And whate'er ye do, do not let go." Four minutes until what? That was when the door carefully swung open with Robert on the other side. He gestured the two out in a silent motion after making sure the coast was clear.

Keeping quiet, Renne's hand intentionally slipped from Kita's wrist down to her hand as she kept a good grasp on it. Moving outward, she followed Robert directly behind him; keeping the same pace as he had walking. It just seemed to be a casual stroll; he turned his head to look back every now and again, but it also seemed to be casual, like he did this on his normal patrol. Getting to the end of the area, he made sure the coast was clear as well in the main lobby. It wasn't, but if the three stuck to the plan, it should be fine right?

Finally walking out, Renne was relieved it was just a small set of a staircase. Looking back to Kita, only to make sure it was still her hand she was holding onto. Robert, luckily, was calm about all of this. Either he had done this before, or just wanted some kind of adventure. Either way, this completely benefited both Renne and Kita. A couple of the clerks gave a nod to Robert, but seemed completely oblivious to the two women. Knowing there was still a bit of time left, but not a lot, the young elf gave a small tug to the young woman as she picked her pace a bit and made a bee-line to the door. There was no straight-shot as there should have been as Renne accidentally bumped into a different client; having one of her shoes drop. Going wide-eyed, knowing whatever kind of spell or whatever it was Renne did was officially gone. Quickly moving Kita behind her, she tossed her towards the door.
"Run. Stay on the bright side of the streets. I will catch up when I can." Grabbing the dropped shoe, she looked back up to the man whom she accidentally bumped into and gave an apologetic look. "Sorry I will be doing this to ye." Pushing the man with as much strength she could muster, she did her best to use him as a temporary barrier between the other guards and herself before running out of the Hotel as well to try and catch up to Kita.

User Image Kita watched the woman go and starting folding all of her belongings into her suitcase. She didn't really have much. A few outfits, a nice dress, and her ball. For a sprite, Kita still loved heels. They made her tall, just as they did for Renne, well, average height. The moon sprite had come to terms long ago that she would never be tall. Even Napoleon had been taller than her, but in all fairness, everyone else at the time were super tall. Basketball would have been interesting back then. She was a little surprised that Renne had known about the plant revolt back then, but perhaps she had read it in a book somewhere. People who weren't there seemed to have exaggerated a few things and left some others out. Of course, no one truly knew that the Sprite and Fairies were at fault. Normally, they kept the plants happy so that nothing happened, but with all of them battling each other, the plants went unattended. "I don't see why she didn't just go to the front desk in the first place. I would have probably been on the list they gave her. After all, when you're looking for someone to help with a garden, we're usually one of the first thought of. What are you doing?" She closed her suitcase and held the moonlight ball with both hands, staring at the swirly white center as it changed into a moving picture. Kita let go of the ball and jumped up and down clapping her hands. "Oh that's fantastic! I love the full moon! Maybe we can fix you up a bit. You aren't as talkative as you used to be."

Kita whipped around when the door to her room opened again, and Renne told her she was going to go with her, even though she wasn't supposed to. Well, it sounded like fun already. She smiled as Renne grabbed her, and smiling even brighter when Robert was the one at the door. During the time she was at the hotel, between masters, Robert had always made it a point to bring Kita her food and sometime eat with her. If he wasn't so happily married, and Kita didn't like girls, one might assume the pair had a romantic relationship. She wasn't allowed to say anything, though, so when they were making their way to the door, she whispered a farewell to Robert to her ball, watching it float over to him to tell him. No one else could hear it, of course. The ball was only audible to the intended and Kita. The jerk on her arm pulled her attention back, and she was quickly being shoved towards the exit. She rolled her eyes as she did as Renne had told her. They could have saved a lot of time and trouble if Renne hadn't been in such a hurry. Kita could have simply shrank and hid in the woman's purse or something of the sort, and then Renne could have been escorted out of the building for breaking the rules, and ta-da! But, no, she had to do it the hard way. Womb born creatures were so prideful sometimes.

When Renne ran over to her, Kita smiled.
"Maybe we should have talked some more." She ripped her ball in half, making two smaller balls, and throwing one at the entrance of the hotel, watching it become a crystallized wall that stopped anyone from coming after them. The other ball, she gave a little kiss and whispered an apology to, before smiling at Renne as if nothing had even happened."All right. Where to now?"

Rather glad she did not put her shoes on while running but a bit saddened that the stockings now had rips at the bottom of the feet portion. Using Kita temporarily as a crutch to place the shoes back on, she cleared her throat a little bit before straightening out the dress again. The daisies kind of shook their heads as if disappointed in the one whose head they were growing out of, their attention was near instantly given to the ball when it was split in half--as did Renne's. Furrowing her eyebrows a little bit; only to guess and hope the barrier on the Hotel is very temporary. Looking back to the young woman, she canted her head a bit and for the first time, gave a wide grin. "Why? Fer ye to hang out there and be bored fer much longer than ye ha'e? What would be the fun in that? Plus, we would ha'e had nothing to speak of while we were walking to the Gardens." Possibly true. However, she did gesture on ward along the same side of the street.

Walking on, luckily it was not much far of a walk, Renne gave a side glance over to Kita before giving a small chuckle.
"Since I was unable to recei'e any files 'bout ye, how come ye were in there?" It was a good way to start a conversation, Renne believed. Not only that, but it gave her a good amount of time to ponder if the house was clean or not. Or even if she had any room at all. The young elf failed to calculate all of that prior to going to the Hotel--she honestly wasn't expecting get one so quickly. However, she was most certainly not regretting the choice. All the while, though, she did pay attention to the young woman.

User Image The moon sprite had a bounce in her walk, a childish thing, but something which showed how energetic and restless she was. She smiled as she walked, going backwards when she found herself a foot or two in front of Renne. It didn't help that she had a song playing in her head, and she was tempted to sing along to it, but she had been asked a question, well a few, but most had seemed rhetorical. She put the moonlight ball in her pocket, her bouncing steps now matching the upbeat song in her head. Kita was one of those who felt as if they might go crazy and kill someone without music, so whenever she could, she had a song waiting to be played in her mind, or some little ditty she could vocalize. Perhaps Renne liked music as well. Perhaps not the music Kita listened to, but music all the same. Kita stuck out her tongue in disgust at the thought of having to listen to classical music. A few of the faster songs were fun to dance around to and act like a dolt, but she couldn't stand music without lyrics. It made her fidgety, as most things did.

"I was captured by some idiot, and he sold me to the men who own the hotel. That's the thing about specialty sprites, we can turn a pretty nice profit for those who catch us. You know, there are sprites and fairies specifically for taking care of plants, didn't you want one of them? I can take care of plants, but the moonlight isn't all that important to plants." Kita spun around on her toes, a full three-sixty, the song still loud in her head. She nearly wished it was night so she could play the song for Renne as well. She could do so much more at night. The blasted sun was a nuisance sometimes. Even in the day when you might catch a glimpse of the moon, the moonlight was blocked by the sunlight, and Kita's powers were very limited. If she was lucky, she wouldn't disappear with the next new moon. She was very tired of becoming invisible. After first, it was fun, but after a while, she had no one to give her something to do. "Renne, do you live by yourself? I didn't use to. I grew up in a village, but then I went to live all alone, and that's when I was captured, you see? So if you do live alone, then you're very lucky to have me now, that way no one tries to take you or anything. Although, elves are pretty common, so I really don't think it would be all that much to capture you, but you still can't be alone, because of robbers and bad spells. As you'll find out, I don't need to breathe all that often, so I can talk a lot for a long time without taking a breath. If you did it, you'd have to talk really fast to get it all out at once, but I don't talk too fast, do I?" Kita was aware that she did talk fast, but she was so used to her own speaking, that she didn't know if others though it was fast or if they had a hard time following what she said. She tended to get off-track quite easily.

Masaru, or Saru, as he was often called by others, heaved a soft sigh as he lounged lazily across the bed provided for him by the Hotel des Esclaves. All in all, his living conditions weren't bad, the hotel provided him a small room all his own, as well as his own bathroom, the only downside was the fact he was here pretty well against his will and it was boring, there was nothing to do during the longs hours awaiting someone to purchase him as a slave.

Perhaps if Masaru had been able to use his powers, he likely wouldn't even be in this particular situation, but more importantly, would have a way of entertaining himself since he was in this particular predicament. But due to the collar about his neck, Masaru was left with only his thoughts and his own company, which was proving to be a lot more boring than he would have liked. The young neko male had already taken a cat nap just moments before and upon waking, had scooted himself to the edge of the bed, letting his eyes stare down at the intricately colored carpeting, arms folded beneath his chin, all the while his black furred tail flicking back and forth lazily.

Though Masaru's eyes were on the carpet, his thoughts had turned inwards, likely playing through the circumstances of his being at this hotel. Were it not for the brilliant mind that lay within his skull, he would still be in school, making friends, barely scraping by with grades, and generally living an all around decent life. Instead, he had been born cursed with intelligence, quite a bit of it as well, and it was due to this simple fact that he was sitting here now, or laying, so to say. Jealousy ran rampant through the world of powerful figures, and when they began to lose money, well, Masaru became disposable, actually, ridding themselves of him had become priority one. Masaru had only narrowly dodged their attempts at taking his life, three or so times before these particular power figures had realized that the tricky little neko boy wasn't going to be taken out so easily.

And so the plan had changed, and though Masaru had been able to dodge death, he had not been so lucky to dodge a kidnapping. Now he was here, locked in a room that may as well have been a cage, his powers negated by a damn collar that he found to be a bit itchy, and most definitely uncomfortable, and perhaps more than a bit offensive. Yes, he had the ears, tail, and qualities of anyone's beloved pet cat, but he was highly intelligent! A prize even, he shouldn't be sitting here left to grow stupid and fat for however long it took to find someone to purchase him.

That was another thing, Masaru wasn't all that eager to be purchased like a piece of hardware and taken to live somewhere he probably wouldn't like, but even if he did, he certainly wouldn't be lorded over by anyone, especially someone who considered him a possession. He played the memory of that fateful night over and over in his mind, wishing he had seen it coming, wishing things had turned out differently, but alas, until he perfected time travel, there was no way to remedy his situation. He could only accept it for now and hope that some moment of freedom would arise, or at least the opportunity for freedom.

Just hand me the ******** thing so I can go home. You may smile now, but when your precious hair catches fire, whose going to be smiling then? The tall figure stood at the front desk, handing the petite desk clerk his form, towering over her as if she were a child. She truly was a short woman. And that horribly cheery smile on her face was driving him nuts. What was there to smile about? He leaned forward a bit, not seeing anything under the edge of the desk that might cause the woman to be so dang happy. Her voice was even annoying. "Excuse me, Sir, but this isn't very specific. Perhaps if you filled out a new form with some more information, I might be able to run it through the system and get you a match. Here's a fresh one for you" Is she a bird? I swear there was more chirping in that little speech than talking. Fine, I guess I'll fill out another one. The red haired man did just as he was asked to do, filling out the form. He did it exactly as he had the first time. Even the spacing between words was done to a T. It could have been a photocopy. As he handed it to the desk clerk, she stared at in disbelief, her smile faltering a bit. She didn't argue with him this time, entering what little information he had given her into the computer. It took a while before she finally printed something out and handed it to him. "Here you go, Mr. Pizot. If you follow that man there, he'll take you to the room numbers on that paper there. It is suggested that you talk and get to know the 'guest' before you leave."

Reese, the red haired tall man who had been responsible for knocking the chipper desk clerk's smile, snatched the paper from her hand, and started down the hall the suited man was standing near. Honestly, he could walk down a hall by himself, but it would just be faster to follow the rules and not cause trouble. He didn't say a word, preferring to keep his mouth shut when he really had nothing to say, anyways. The first door he was led to held a neko inside, what his name was, Reese didn't care to read. He opened the door and stepped inside, hearing the faint click as it shut behind him. He didn't say anything, just standing there, eyes dark as he looked at the boy. Better than trying to give me a fairy girl. Cats take care of themselves, so let's just get this over with. He didn't move from the door, and his face didn't change to show any emotion. His voice was rough, and dark, something that fit well with his behavior, but wasn't deep enough to be anything like a drill sergeant's, though what he said was a bit forceful.

"Grab your crap. You're coming with me." He didn't see any reason to say more. Anything that needed to be known, was pretty much said right there. The boy was going to need to pack his belongings, and then Reese was going to take him home. There was really not much else that needed to be said, not really. He could tell the boy his name was Reese, and ask what his was, but names really didn't mean anything. He could ask the boy about being a neko, and tell him that he was a salamander, but it wasn't as if they would talk to each other all day and share stories like a couple of old biddies.

Masaru, much in the fashion that a cat would, lazily glanced upwards as the door to his room suddenly opened, allowing the entrance of a certain red-headed male. Masaru contemplated the entrance of such a person, wondering if this meant he had been purchased. His eyes gazed from top to bottom and back up again, but that was all the movement Masaru made, sizing up this male before him in the way only a cat could, very judgmentally. On first glance, Masaru was able to tell this man would be the strong silent type, after all, he hadn't yet said a word, just stared at Masaru with this fierce expression on his face.

Masaru might have said something then, but then the man was speaking and despite the fact Masaru liked the sound of this man's voice, he did not appreciate the rude manner in which he was spoken to. He said nothing in reply, but sat up on the bed, those ice blue eyes meeting this man's gaze in a show of dominance. Though Masaru was used to bossing others around, as well as letting his sometimes cold exterior dictate how others acted around him, he was not used to being treated in the same manner in which he treated others. It was foreign to him, this whole being order about thing and he very much disliked it. This dislike showed on his face as he narrowed his brows, arms folding across his small chest.

Masaru wasn't sure where to begin and so a bit of silence was drawn out between the two before Masaru finally spoke, sliding from the bed and to his feet in this rather elegant and liquid manner, standing at a full height of five feet seven inches, short in comparison to the man before him, but this fact wasn't going to intimidate Masaru. In fact, it emboldened him, making his next words sarcastic, his conceitedness showing now that he was met with someone to talk to.
"Such a rude greeting, whatever happened to polite phrases and pretty graces? Perhaps you're much too dense for such things, hm? Your observation skills are quite low too, aren't they." Masaru was of course referring to the fact he had no possessions to pack, the clothes on his body were the only things he had arrived at the hotel with, his captors hadn't really stopped to ask him if he would like to bring anything with him, and so Masaru had nothing. For Masaru, this beginning banter was his way of starting a power struggle, though he had no choice but to go with the man, he would make his dislike of the situation known.

Reese stood there, watching the boy as he was watching him. He didn't mind the silence, it was pretty nice. Actually, he really liked it, but he didn't let it show on his features. He just stood there, taking a moment to glance about the room. Well, the place looked like some princess had thrown up. It was bland, but daintily so. He didn't like it. He turned his attention back to the neko as he got up from the bed, and noticed how short he was. Crossing his arms, giving me lip for not tilting my hat and acting like a pomp; at least my sister will like him. Maybe their weekly bitchings will sync up. The redhead saw no use to argue, and so when he opened his mouth, he only agreed with what the boy was saying. "You're completely correct. Rude, stupid, and self-centered; that's me. Now, are we going to go, or did you want to stand here some more?" Reese didn't really care if the boy wanted to take anything with him. Obviously, he had clothes on, but he didn't think he wore the same thing day in and day out, but if he didn't want to take anything with him, rip them off and steal the sheets even, then he couldn't make him.

He had to admit he was being a bit cold, but he didn't want the neko to think they were going to become best friends. Reese didn't need any friends. His sister bothering him was enough. Eventually, the boy would understand that he was pretty much allowed to do whatever he wanted in the house, as long as he didn't go in Reese's room. If anything, it would be like that dreaded fairytale where the prince becomes some ugly, only to trap a person in his home, forbidding her from a certain area of the castle, then the prisoner would love him and he would become a prince again. The only problem was, Reese, wasn't a prince, and loving him wasn't something he wanted anyone to do.

Masaru was fully prepared to battle it out with this red headed gentleman, sure that he would get defensive like most people did when they were insulted, especially by a stranger, a stranger that had been purchased and was now technically a possession. But Masaru never got to say his well thought retort and well place criticisms, caught completely off guard when Reese suddenly agreed with everything Masaru had said, completely steeling the young man's thunder.

Put in his place, Masaru's cheeks flushed just barely and he crossed his arms tighter, his eyes looking anywhere but at Reese. There really wasn't anything in this room that Masaru wanted or even owned. The young man had only a few changes of clothing the hotel had given him, since he had arrived with only the clothes he had been wearing when he was abducted. He shrugged slightly and grabbed perhaps an outfit and a half from the closet, throwing the articles of clothing over his shoulder before he turned back towards Reese, looking up at the man with disdain and more than a little distaste, it was safe to say Masaru didn't particularly like Reese all that much. If first impressions were anything, Masaru didn't imagine he would end up changing his mind about the red head either.

His voice was a bit quieter, a chastised kitten as he moved a bit closer to Reese, a frown upon his face.
"I suppose standing around won't get us anywhere.." Masaru gazed at Reese, his tail flicking back and forth behind him, waiting to be shown the way to wherever would become his new home. Masaru was not thrilled by any means, but he supposed a change of living space would be a bit more exciting than his prison cell within the Hotel des Esclaves.

Reese didn't watch the boy as he went about the room, grabbing whatever it was he wanted. He was contemplating whether or not the neko would try to strangle him in his sleep. If he tried, at least roasted cat was a possibility. It didn't seem as if he liked him, made perfectly obvious when the small one looked at him. Well, at least we can glare at one another if we get too bored. If not, we can write songs about how much we hate each other and cry in various corners of the house. Reese had highly sarcastic thoughts, a result of entertaining himself all these years. He wasn't that sarcastic outside of his thoughts, preferring to end all conversation as fast as possible. He wasn't one for conversation, and when the neko didn't seem to want to ask a bunch of questions about where he was going or who the red haired man was, he assumed the boy wasn't a conversationalist either. As much as he hated to admit it, the tiny bit of information he had given, and the hotel still managed to find someone who actually fit what he was looking for.

With him in the house, he wondered if there was anything he needed to do. The only part of him that seemed to be feline was his tail, ears, and the silky way he moved, like a jungle cat ready to pounce. Reese had to admit he kind of liked it, but those thoughts would be saved for another time. He opened the door, standing against it to hold it open for the smaller one, and very nearly smiled. He truly was glad the cat didn't like him. Once they were out of the room, he walked back to the lobby, keeping an eye on the neko and shot a glare at the perky and overly joyful desk clerk, who looked a bit surprised by the gesture. He led the boy out to his car, opening the door for him, and walking over to his side to get in. Reese didn't like rental cars, and as much of a pain it was to have to wait for his car, he put up with the wait because he found his car far more comforting. Once they got to Switzerland, they would have to take a cab back to the house, and Reese was glad it hadn't become cold and snowed yet. He would like to enjoy the sun a little bit longer. Once they got to the airport, Reese ironed everything out with the passport clerks, saying very little, grabbing the boy's wrist to take him with him. I hope you're not afraid of heights, kitty. Maybe the boy would be happy he was in first class where he could nap without a crying baby next to him or some overly chatty old woman.

Sorry for sort of just dragging Masaru along. Figured they wouldn't spend too much time dawdling about. You can start the next post in Reese's house thread.
