*Theador was game, he picked up some snow and put it into a ball and smiled, "hehehehehehe." He threw it at kyle, "ha ha!" He then ducked and started making his own little fort to protect himself from coming pojectiles. He only wished his siterw oudl be on his side of this little battle. Sadly that wasn't the case most likly.
Meanwhile Shortstraw walked into the room as lilly was putting hanas food on the table, "sounds to me you need a better bed. You should see about that, diffrent beds do make a huge diffrence." He sat down and looked to keria, "god the mess... so what did i miss?"

Kiera smiled to Shortstraw. "Not much." She snickered. "See, not so fun being on bath duty is it?" She giggled. "Both of them as the same time is much harder." Hana lifted her head and welcomed the pleasant scent of food. "Ahhh..." She dug in. "Where's Dante?" Kiera tilted her head. "Probably training. He trains for a few hours in the morning so he has the rest of the day to do whatever he wants." She smiled. "He's very efficient." Hana rolled her eyes. "I bet he is."
As Kyle rushed to the side behind a tree he started to gather up his own ammunition and build around the tree. Evelin made a face. "Snow balls hurt.." Kyle laughed a little and threw a snowball at Evelin. "You're in the open!" Evelin's eyes widened, stunned, but found the snowball melted quickly off her skin. Evelin felt the cold water drip down her chin into her warm jacket. She shuddered. "Right.." Evelin was determined now as she ran over to the wall and made her own fort with the wall as a firm backbone. They all tossed snowballs over at each other trying to either break their walls or drop snowballs into them.

A few hours later Theador was eventally getting tired again. However he kept trying to throw snow balls just becuse the others were. Finally he stopped however and shivered, "it's cold now." he shuddered, "can go in for coco?" He asked.
At this point shortstraw was looking aroung the house for the kids. Starting to get alittle mad, "where are they..." he stopped, "they must have went outside." He rolled his eyes, "cant keep kids out of the snow." He chukkled and headed to windows to see if he could see them, hoping they stayed close at least.

Kyle sighed with a smile. "Yeah, that sounds good." Evelin's eyes widened as she ran to a tree. "No! I wanna stay!" Kyle frowned a little. "Aren't you cold?" Evelin shook her head with a scowl. "You?" Kyle shook his head with a smile. "No, but I'm pretty tired now." Evelin shook her head and ran more into the trees. "I don't wanna!" Kyle pulled a face. "Evelin!" He looked to Theodore however, calmly. "Go back inside, okay? I'll go get your sister." He ran after her. Kyle saw Evelin again deeper into the wood but she was still and staring in fear at something. Kyle came close. "Evelin!" He sighed and caught his breath. "You shouldn't run off like that." Kyle suddenly saw what Evelin was staring at, a great big brown bear with dark eyes, pinpointed on Evelin. Kyle swallowed. "Evelin..." Evelin was frozen in fear. Kyle stared at the bear as it carefully approached her and came within a few meters of her. "Evelin..." Evelin suddenly squealed, which startled the bear as it went onto it's hind legs and craned it's gigantic paw back to strike Evelin with, however when Evelin opened her eyes, the bear was gone. She shook in her spot as Kyle enclosed around her, wrapping her in his arms. "Nothing will harm you.." Evelin felt tears welling up. What happened to the bear. Evelin then felt an intense heat around her as she suddenly saw the flames that was a result of Kyle's outburst on the bear. All trees within several meters of them were quickly burnt to a crisp like a match and the snow around them had melted to the grass. The grass itself was burnt and frizzled up, making it look like the area of a meteor strike. "I'm so sorry... did that scare you?" Evelin started to cry.

*Theador did as instructed only becuse he feared evelin wouldn't come back if he went too. However just as he was to go inside shortstraw appeared tapping his foot, "and where do you think your going..." he looked out and around, "where's kyle and Evelin?" Theador tried to turn around and run, but shortstraw was quick to cetch and rase him up, "theador yokai, where is your sister!" He replied agian, "your not in much trouble. I understand you just wanted to play. but where is evelin and kyle?" Theador pointed and sobbed sadly. As shortstraw's eyes thinned. He turned and placed theador down, "go inside and do not come back out." He turned, "i'm going to see if i can find them."

As Kyle turned Evelin around to look at her Evelin saw Kyle's orange eyes glowing. He did that? Kyle made the bear disappear? And he did that to the trees? "Are you alright?" He looked with a concerned expression down at her. Evelin stared up at him and nodded weakly with a sob. Kyle hugged her again. "I'm sorry Evelin... As long as you're with me nothing will harm you.. okay?" Evelin felt comfort in Kyle's warmth, however was still shaken up. "I'll always be with you." Evelin smiled a little. "...If Kyle is with.. me.. I'll be alright.." She burrowed into him. "Even when... things are scary..." Kyle smiled and nodded. "That's right." He hoisted her onto his back and started to carry her back to the castle. Upon seeing Shortstraw, Kyle rushed up to him however looked as calm as always. "Mister Shortstraw!" He looked to the floor then back to Evelin who looked like she was falling asleep on his back. "I'm sorry. This was my idea to bring them out here. We would have been back inside by now too if Evelin didn't run off. But I got her. I apologise, I thought I had a better handle of the situation. I accept full responsibility for this." He looked up to him as he huffed in the snow. Only the faint smell of burning wood was smelled in the distance.

*Shortstraw pointed, "did you do that or Evelin?" He turned and motioned them to head back to the house. Meanwhile Shortstraw looked to him sternly, "i wanna know what happened out there Kyle. I understand you just wanted to have some fun outside, you didn't plan on going anywhere but the yard. I'll giv eyou that, i'll let that slid just this once, but i'm not sure about keria or your father. Someone could have gotten hurt or sick." As they entered theador was sitting on the couch with a blanket and a cup of coco, however he rushed over to kyle and evlein, "you got her!" Shortstraw closed the door behind him, "keep in mind they arn't as big as you okay. They are still learning alot of things." He then looked to the other too, "i think there was a fire out in the woods. I smelt burnt lumber. Where these two came from." He explained as he crossed his arms to see what the other two parents would do.

Kiera pulled a face as she quickly went to take Evelin from Kyle. "Hey sweetie?" Evelin opened her eyes. "Mommy?" Kiera frowned a little. "You weren't supposed to go outside... let alone run off from the others..." Evelin frowned a little and Kiera noticed her tear marks as she rubbed her cheek gently. "What happened out there? Were you scared?" Kyle saw that he was being eyed by his father, as they waited for an explanation. "Evelin did that. I only saw it as I got close to her, she got scared and the trees started to burn." Kiera looked to Evelin. "Is this true?" Evelin just stared at her mother blankly, as Kiera then hugged her. It was a perfectly believable story, after what Theodore did only that morning. And Mordekai didn't know his son to be a liar at all. He believed him outright. So the others did. "Oh sweetie.. this is why we didn't want you going outside for too long.. I don't want you to be scared.." Mordekai however stared at Kyle as Kyle watched Kiera and Evelin. "Son, it wasn't your choice to make if they could go outside or not." Kyle nodded and looked to the floor. "Yes father." Mordekai scratched his head as he sighed. "Ahh... at least you went after Evelin when she got scared.."

*Shortstraw nodded, "yes at least you brought her back home." He walked over and softly cleared up the tearmarks on evelins cheeks with his thumb, "all is good no princess your home now." He looked ot Mordikei, "so what should we do now?" Lily walked over and put a blanket around kyle and handed him a coco, meanwhile she looked to evelin, "you should go and watch some cartoons with your brother." She put a towl around evelin, "i have coco for you. YOu like coco?"

Evelin jerked a nod as Kiera carefully put her down again. Evelin took her mug and went into the other room with Theodore. Kiera glanced to Kyle then to Mordekai. "Uncle.. Is it all right if I can speak to you for a second?" Mordekai nodded and Kiera led them into a separate room. Kyle looked to the floor as he trailed his thumb across the handle of his mug. "I just wanted them to have a little fun." Kyle slowly walked into another room to go up the stairs.
"Three incidents, that's three since you started visiting with Kyle. All including my own kids too." Mordekai frowned. "What, its your kids that keep running off or doing things that they shouldn't." Kiera scowled. "Your son lied to us every time. The first time when Theodore got stuck in that rabbit hole, Kyle said Theodore rolled in. The second when Kyle injured himself playing with Evelin. He said Evelin accidentally fell on his wrist and broke it. And now this. Evelin hasn't used fire yet, I would know. Kyle caused the fire." Mordekai pulled a face. "But why would he lie about that? I mean it doesn't even make sense. Even if Kyle accidentally pushed Theodore in that hole, or caused his own broken wrist, or caused that fire, why would he want to keep that from us?"

*Shortstraw however slowly followed after kyle, trying to keep low profile so he could watch him. He felt alitlte susspitious himself. Meanwhile theador was vary welcomeing to his sister as he scooted over to let her sit down with him to watch there favoret cartoons and drink coco. However in it all as he looked away, "are you okay Sissy?" He asked in a softer tone. he didn't talk like that often, only when he was worryed. He loved his sister, he was however usally in compitition with her. but times like this, he was on her side.

As Kyle walked up into his guest room that he'd barely slept in at all he sat down on the bed and wrapped his blanket around him tight. "I'm sorry, Evelin. I let you be scared." Kyle shut his eyes for a few moments before he opened them again and they glowed in the low light of the room. Kyle didn't move as a small scrap of paper floated in front of him, then burned as his eyes flashed. He watched the paper errupt into flames and it was soon reduced to ashes that fell onto the bed. "I'll do better next time."
Kiera shook her head. "I guess its not too much to worry about at the moment. You just watch Kyle for me, all right?" Mordekai nodded as Kiera smiled. "Kyle is such a sweet boy, uncle. I don't mean to be all serious about this. You raised him well by yourself." Mordekai made a small attempt at a smile before he nodded and walked out of the room.
Evelin stared at her brother for a moment then looked away. "Yeah.." Evelin smiled to him and glanced back to the tv. "I'm.. Okay."

*Shortstraw had the door cracked open as he watched Kyle. However he didn't say a work or make a single sound. As he slowly backed up, carfully and turned to go back downstairs. As he had, he looked directly for Mordikei, "Mr Mordikei..." he replied as if nothing was wrong and he didnt' see anything. As he foud mordikei leaving the room he stopped him, "i'm not the spying type but... i think i know whats going on here. I just saw kyle in his room talking to himself about protecting evelin. His eye turned goldish yellow, he started to make some paper float as he burnt it then and there. His phoinxi ablitys are more the active mordikei... but i think he's trying to supprise it. That would explainthe lies, all the thing that happend, maybe becuse of accidents that happened through his abilitys." He looked to keria, "i dont know how to do that picture transfer thing but... i sware theres more then meets they eye to that kid. I like him, but i'm worryed about his attachment to Evelin and her attachment to him." he didn't speak to high, but rather in a low tone.
Meanwhile thaodor laughed at the cartoon befor looking to Evelin then back to the tv, "next time I will save you. I pwomis." He smiled and gave her a little buddy like hug before sipping his coco, "boy this stuff is good." he nodded.

Mordekai pulled a face. "I.. Just dont see Kyle lying to me like that. And his and Evelin's bond.. I would just assume its all innocent right?" Kiera scratched her arm. "There's nothing wrong with them being attached to each other as they are, they're both just kids." Mordekai nodded. "And besides, if my son has taken it upon himself to protect your kids, I don't really see it as a bad thing.." Kiera frowned a little. "I'm not sure that's the point though, uncle."
Cale watched their conversation from outside the door and as soon as he heard enough he walked back upstairs and to Kyle's room. "They're talkin' about you, kid." Kyle burned another scrap of paper. "I didn't ask you to eavesdrop." Cale leaned in the doorway. "They're concerned about what you've been keeping from them, and your affinity for little Evelin." Kyle smiled a little, which Cale didn't think he was actually capable of. It seemed Kyle found that statement amusing. "Its not an affinity, if that's what they're calling it." Cale tilted his head. "Then what?" Kyle's smile faded, back to expressionless. "Didn't I tell you before to leave me be?" He looked up to Cale with bright orange eyes. Just for a moment, Cale felt the pressure of Kyle's aura. It almost pushed Cale to his knees as he struggled to stand, and then it disappeared as soon as it came. "I'm sorry to be so forward, but please leave."
Evelin looked down to her mug and realised she hadn't had any of hers yet. She wasn't all that thirsty. She was still shaken up from that event. Why did Kylie lie again to the adults? It didn't make sense to her. But one thing remained, he protected her. Just like those hero stories. "Do you think... Kylie will be allowed to play again?"

*Theador thought about it, "i think so. It be stupid if not." He smiled, "dont worry we play with kyle again. Just need time for daddy to no be mad animore." He nodded surly, "kyle cool."
Shortstraw shied, "that wasn't my point no. I'm not tring to sound mean or anything, just telling you what i saw." She scratched the back of his head, "kyle really makes the kids happy. And it's cool havin gyou around here too. Another man in the house helps some of us other men." He smerked, "if you know what I mean. What i ment is... kyle is keeping secrites of things i think from you. He's a good kid, but he has alot of power... it may go to his head, or sometimes slip. He maybe even just trying to keep things from you to prove he can handle it. I just figured it's good to know." He looked to keria, "i think we should let the kids off this time, give them a warning and see where that goes."
