I'm still reading through all the info and trying to sort it out in my mind. I'll make a post if I have any relevant thoughts or questions. Pretty sure I saw the word brothels mentioned somewhere though which is exciting.
It's not too bad having a lot of npc's as long as they're used to good effect. Might not be great for your poor drawing hand though.

Yeah, know what you mean...awe poor blobs.
Yeah made the mistake of reading ahead on game of thrones soooo not again.
I only saw the one ad and it is was like need to see this now.
Father times seems like somebody you need to get drunk so they tell all.
Oh saw the university npc, so is there going to be a npc run school or just a place people meet to rp?

Yeah. I keep telling myself...
don't make so many NPCs.
But but...OTL....storyline has to come somewhere
and I can't just leave it all faceless.

Since it's only me doing all the typing and organizing >>;
it is more than likely I have enormous holes everywhere.

The School is only for Talents. XD
To learn to control their magic skills.
And the others who feel like a post-graduate learning.
I don't want this to devolve into a school B/C though...
since everyone is mature and most likely too old for school.
I was thinking of just making the classes into quests for the Talent
characters to do.
i.e. a premade, do it yourself adventure story style type quest
where you do several assignments and practice sessions (in rp cannon)
and this unlocks a magical ability. OvO
The setting is just done at the school.
Am I making sense? XDDDDD

I have this compulsion to read the book before watching
the movie even though I know I'll just ruin it all.
i.e. Iron Man 3 and me reading the Cannon Extremis Arc.

Yes,oh that will be cool and better to move things along so the talents aren't in one place for too long.
Oh before I forget, I agree that having a lot of npcs is a great idea. It can help keep things organized and tell people who to go and what not.
Yeaaah my sis is like that also needs to finish things like really bad movies. le sigh.
Yeah reading ahead can ruin a show/movie for you or keep you from watching something really crappy.

Yup. XD The classes will be something like college.
Loose schedules and they go in whenever they want to.
Just gotta poke a professor or a Magi to teach them things.
Yeah that's what I noticed...which is why I didn't knock out NPCs.
So if META happens there's always enough NPCs to herd the people around.
D: Yeah. All the people who didn't know about the Cannon Extremis Arc enjoyed the movie Iron Man 3 thoroughly. While those you read up were all RAGING...especially in tumblr. XD

Could be. But it would all be conjecture.
More myths and legends than true information. XD
Since this is a one way portal.
Once you've gone into the world of Nocte
there's no finding your way back.
So yeah. There might be a possibility of legends concerning
weird disappearances of people...and portals appearing out of nowhere.
But since it's a one way trip....you might be able to see a bit inside
before the portal closes..but nothing comes back out.

I know you said that the user run shops will after a point in stages the shops become a place that grow the character in their chosen path/class(besides rp requirments)?
Yeahhh I was kinda like that with thor, huge mythogly nerd so thor was like eh..wait what oh come on.

Like oldbies meeting the newbies.
Will probably have a thread later on where we can approve of character made shops/businesses and if it lives long enough become a part of the Map of Nocte.
However the Portal Centre has an introductory manual to the world. XD
Which is manned by one of the NPCs. This doesn't work so well with Talents though because their powers manifest later while Denizens get the tattoo once the cross the threshold of the portal.
XD I swear Natalie Portman is wasted as Jane. The character of Jane is so insipidly written. I kind of like Darcy more....

XD Talents don't need anything special in the 1st stage.
They look normal human.
But just consider this shop is timeline what timeline
so your character can be from the past, present
or imagined future. Just have to be 100% human.
