Careers and tests? This was the next step to learning and becoming a full member of Halloween society in her own right. The city had a whole lot more folk in it than her town back home, so Levi wanted to aim as high as she possibly could to show them that tatzelfolk could be just as smart as the next critter. All that learning done in classes was going to be put to the literal test right now. The notification had said this was their one chance to determine their future. Whether that meant it was like some sort of fortune-telling test or a test of their efficiency in their desired field, Levi didn't know. However, it sounded like the sort of challenge she was willing to undertake- that was what mattered most.

Tail held high, the ghoul wandered into the examination room. A day filled with potential and a winning spirit! When you head into a fight, you've got to keep your head in the game. This might have been why the tatzel's attention wasn't on the danger lurking nearby. Papers and pencil at the ready, her eyes kept on the letters printed on the paper, flipping to the next page just to see how long this thing was going to take.

That was when it hit her; right in the back of her head (dripping down her hair) and drenching some of her tail. It's gooey... TCHHHHSSSSSSSSSHHHH~ Levi's nose scrunched up and her teeth clenched, fighting the temptation to turn at look upon the individual that had given her a bath of what she hoped was mucus. That was something she could at least shower away. She'd been stuck to unripened candy corn goop before, and that stuff was a pain to get out of her fur.

A moment later, the tatzel realized the damage that had also been done to her test. Oh JACK-! Swiping at the mixture of various greens and consistencies, Levi tried to reveal the last two questions on the second sheet to no avail.

What was worse- whoever had done it was still sniffling from behind her. Never had the tatzel thought of using profanity as loudly as now. At the same time, never had she fought so hard to keep silent for the sake of not being kicked out of the examination. Just keep to the questions, ghoulie... Trying to shield herself (and her pages) from further damage, Levi's tail arose and coiled behind her. For the greater good, it would have to take the brunt of the potential goo blasts from now on.

For the good of her future.

West was never in the mood for a test. He could think of at least twenty-two things he would rather be doing at the moment, but this was required and he wanted to graduate, so he was present. He recognized a pale pair of ears and a tail up ahead and sped up, only to find himself sprayed with a gooey layer of snot.

He closed his eyes and thought of punching someone so hard their teeth broke through their chin. He imagined what it would feel like to throw human infants down a well. He pondered setting up some sort of conveyor belt that provided an endless line of annoying nerds, perfectly positioned to get kicked in the nads. Nothing helped.

The boil wiped his hand down his face and flicked the muck he had gathered onto the floor.

"THANK YOU. SO. MUCH."

He grabbed an envelope and took the nearest seat. Ruined for life or not, this was going to be the fastest jackdamned test taking experience he had ever known.

After he had filled in as many answers as he could, West threw his pen on the desk and leaned back in his seat. The snakey utensil flailed angrily, pushing his boogery envelope across the tabletop. Something was still inside.

The boil pulled out the note, read it, crumpled it up, and threw it at the head of the nearest student. The ghoul turned around, a look of terror on her face as she unraveled and read the note for herself. She then hunched back over her test and began furiously changing her answers, presumably to minipet poop.

...An exam.

They had to take an exam.

An exam that came out of nowhere.

...An exam that came out of nowhere and was apparently crucial to determining their future and whether they could even graduate.

Like many of the other students, it was obvious that the possibility of not graduating had been the last thing she had been expecting when she rolled out of bed that morning. No matter which way she looked, all that she saw were the terrified faces of her classmates as they filed into the room and each found a desk to sit at.

When the test began, she let out a shaky little breath and moved to pull out the papers from the envelope.

...Only for the top page to be splattered by a generous helping of snot before she even had a chance to begin. Looking horrified, the baku lifted the test paper by the corner of the sheet, her expression twisting in one of disgust...and then panic. W-wait, this was a really important test! She couldn't just skip the questions! Maybe she could just...shake off some of the snot...

The next few minutes consisted of Xiu trying to make out as much of the questions as could, trying to fill in the blanks from where the words were obscured by the thick gloop. Finally, she moved to pick up her pen...only to realize that it wasn't there where she had left it to the right of her paper. Instead, a glance to the left determined that it had moved itself...and was presently scribbling all over the second (and previously her only clean) test sheet.

The baku felt close to tears as she proceeded to wrestle the damn thing into submission. By the time she finally got control of it, the other half of her test had been thoroughly covered in doodles and scrawl.

...She was going to fail this, she knew it.

Top half of first test paper is...covered/obscured in snot. Xiu wrote her name + date beneath the mess. Other answers:

- Understanding of the Legal System
- Understanding of Human World
- All of the above

Page 2 is covered in scribbles.

- FEAR and a squishy physical body
- Very carefully...?
- All, but especially those concerning (a big gap here where she has to skip over a giant, scrawled smiley face) humans and understanding them
- Average

- Third Year
- None of the above
- All of the above

The instant that Thackery began working on his exam, it was obvious that he was not prepared for this.

Namely because he couldn't even remember the date.

He slowly scrawled a happy face, hoped that might somehow work, and was too stressed out after that to answer anything properly. The rest of the first portion was a mixture of what looked like an actual attempt at the answers, an attempt at a joke, and doodles.

They weren't the pen's fault this time, though.

An exam…

WHY.

If Clyde could shoot lasers, the test paper would have been on fire by now. His right hand gave a nervous twitch before reaching over to grab a pencil, but…it didn’t move.

What…?

... Career aptitude test?
Wasn't this those forms you filled out to decide what you wanted to do in the future? Miasma really didn't see why it was necessary to fill one out in order to graduate, but... she was never one to turn down a test, and she HAD been keeping up with her studies so... no worries, right?

Though... it didn't help that whoever was sitting behind her was making some obnoxiously annoying sniffling noises. REALLY! She was trying to concentrate here, for Jack's sake.

She managed to finish with ample time, mulling over her answers and poor penmanship. It was all that sniffler's fault for distracting her.

Well, out of all things Alice would have to remember as being a new student, there was an exam. Not just any Exam. It was The Exam. An exam that would mean either life or death to her new undead life here in Halloween town.

No, no, no, no, no. I know one thing, and this exam will be the 2nd death of me, she thought as she was handed the envelope.

Quote:
Rolling a 5: Your Haunted Pen jumps out and starts scribbling random doodles all over your desk, and anything it comes in contact with. You have to wrangle it to submission.

Alice wasn't sure how to do any of the things that were presented to her at all. Not to mention that her pen seemed to have been cursed. All it wanted to do was scribble on everything, doodling on whatever that stupid pen could write on. It had almost tried to write on Alice as well, until she had used both hands to try and keep it still while trying to finish the stupid exam that was present.

Name: Alice Marie LaToure
Date: June 7th (I believe)

Where does FEAR come from?

What are the Key Elements of a Human?
The Key Elements of a Human are that they have no special abilities, like being able to run fast, fly, things like that. They live in another world than us. They do not have any special features. From what I have heard around, there is a fraction of Humans that want to kill us, called Hunters I believe. Also, we can gain FEAR from them, they hold Fear, the source of it even. We scare them to get Fear so that we can live.

If you were in FEAR handling situation no. 2DAC Class B. How would you handle this situation?
I would do my best to do what I would think would be following orders, and most likely, since I haven't taken the class as of yet, to protect my fellow classmates, and then secure the subjects. I would follow any orders that are given from higher level members.

Which classes are important in taking to graduate?
All the basic classes, followed by, depending on what one would want to take, the classes that most interest in that person's career choice.

Where would you consider your level of FEAR Mastery?
Very low since I am very new to Halloween town.

Circle the Correct Answer:

I am currently in:
•First Year
•Second Year
•Third Year

Circle the Correct Answer:

My goal is to become:

•Understanding of Humans
•A great team of staff
•Students that care about me
•All of the Above
•None of the Above
•I am not too sure why I am here

Please excuse the illegibility of the paper if there is any.

There, thought Alice, I finally finished it. Alice was relieved that she had finished the Exam. Sure, her pen was going haywire, scribbling all over the paper, yet she did try, with both of her hands, to write as legible as possible so that the people who would be looking at this would be able to at least somewhat read it. Her hands were as sore as undead fingers could possibly be, that they felt as if they were going to fall off. Luckily, they didn't, or she wouldn't be able to do anything.

She was well pleased that she had finished the Exam. Hopefully, with good news, and not bad ones.

Damien was writing his exam under his desk.

Upside down in his seat, with his legs locked around the back of the chair. "Stupid backwards paper." he grumbled, trying to make himself just as backwards to read it the reversed printed page.

This is how he problem solves.

An exam? Since when? Was she late?

Probably. Millie had a habit of losing track of time. Thankfully she clearly wasn't the last one as she was greeted by a mob of students that carried her away like the tide of an ocean.

"Waaaahhh!" She screamed frantically, helpless against the sea of students that carried her into the gym. Grabbing an empty seat and holding onto it for dear life, she clutched the packet in front of her as others settled down enough for her to relax enough to open the packet.

One of her pencils jabbed her rather violently. "Ow! Hey!"

Millie glared hard at the now stationary pencil. "What was that for?!" She screamed at it.

Cradling her hand, it was clear that it would make for a rather painful test. Maybe writing with her other hand would be best. Frowning at her test, this wasn't off to a great start.

Sdkfljdlkjsldkfjsdlj Look, maybe the thing wasn't quite as drastic as having no future if he didn't do it, but Mort was a little more serious than usual at the moment. Having pissed off Red, the best chance at getting Boogeyman training at least at Amityville, he needed to make sure he was still able to be considered for one. Well, assuming the whispers in his head allowed him to think clearly.

. . . And assuming he translated the paper from its (purposefully?) backwards state correctly.

Okay, so writing with her non dominant hand was not easy.

And as it turned out, neither were the questions.
Fear was a part of every halloween resident. It was a part of the school and the world at large. While it did come from harvesting humans, they needed to exist first to use it properly, right?
Millie tried scribbling an answer as best she could, but with her non dominant hand, it barely resembled anything, much less the answer she wanted to say but with her hand getting easily tired, she needed to be brief.

As the test went on, her answers got shorter and shorter because her hand hurt no matter which one she wrote with. Millie wasn't that worried about the results so she just picked what was best for her. Why would she be here at school if she already knew all the answers? It's not like they'd give her a career not long after enrolling and showing up.

Being a first year was great. Millie grinned and looked around to see how many third year students were sweating.

Quote:
Answers since you can't read them without a magnifying glass:
Healthy FEAR: Weapon and Mind
Aspects of Human: Emotions and strange hats
Situation: I would set something nearby on fire.
What classes:
-How to handle FEAR
-How to get rid a hunter

He heard the voice over the loud speaker and his brows furrowed. He was having such a good time chewing on some random mini pet that decided it was a good idea to walk past him. And now he has to to and leave the mini pet unattended to from his mouth? Unfortunately this sours his mood completely. The boil swiftly grabs his bracelet and his clothes so that he may engage in testing without an issues from the teachers. Especially the ones who do not find him being named endearing.

He sighed loudly and stormed forward to where the test is to be take , thankfully he didn't need Matteo's help to find his way there. He wondered if the puppeteer boil and his weird friend where there already.

It didn't take him too long to arrive at the test area. His eyes going blank, still agitated, but more so confused when he looks down at the paper he picked up and sits down in a chair. He wondered what exactly did they mean for a career aptitude test. And wondered what it meant that he was going to suffer immensely if he failed.

With his brows furrowing, he paid no mind and began to read a question once the test taking started. He was fine writing his name down. And the first question was the most basic. But as soon as he finished... His pen decides to move on it's own.

The feathered boil's eyes stared blankly. '...if it is moving on its own... Then it knows the answers..?' That's what Zephyros believed. And so he left the pen to fill out the form without giving it any trouble. Not until it began writing p***s everywhere. At which point confused him, because.. 'Pen is what?' He wondered. Then Zephyros decided that.. It wasn't finishing its sentences. So he spends the rest of the few TIME in the beginning wrestling the pen down and helping it finish it's sentences.
