Damsel in distress Alpha had been thrilled when it seemed that so many were willing to engage him and not a one of them smart enough to stay out of reach of his claws. The battlefield still seemed to call to the young the and the naive. These green warriors would have to learn quickly or die. While something akin to the fabled soul flickered inside of Alpha it as not enough to give him pause or make him inclined to go easy on those who had once been so like him. With those first few fools quickly dismissed Alpha pressed forward only to find a small cluster of warriors standing against him, just slightly forward of the rest of the dovaa forces which seemed to be trying to organize themselves. Then one of them darted forward and it was time to fight again. He easily batted away the spear of ice the cloaked figure launched at him but made no move to dodge her fists. The blows fell upon him but Alpha did not flinch, they meant as little to him as raindrops did to a dragon. His cheeks were warm from the momentary contact and friction but he would not even bruise from this attack. "Idiot" he hissed as he struck at the side of her head with a trio of claws. This time though he used only the backs of them rendering his victim unconscious instead of spilling her blood upon the sand. As the cloaked girl fell limp against Alpha a thunderous roar began to echo from back in the mountains. All at once the wind picked up and in seconds a full blown sandstorm was racing down towards the plain that the camps and battlefield sat upon. Alpha laughed, hefted the unconscious girl onto his shoulder and then sprinted away back towards where he come from and into the thick cloud of dust and sand. Quote: Erionda has been kidnapped with Silver's permission. Next meta post will go up sometime on the 7th due to it's content/timing but feel free to write some reactions to wtf just happened

Tilawen Tilawen had been searching for one of them to be the leader, but cursing as Junjie seemed intent on fighting something he could not possible kill...and all for the sake of someone she was pretty sure was dead. Standing up against this thing with little going for him than a positive attitude was going to get him killed.
Hissing between her teeth she had reached forward to grab his sleeve and haul his a** backwards, but she never got that far..it was now Erionda who was moving forward to actually engage with the strange patch work being. What was it with these people that were the closest things she could call friends? Leaping in without any strategy was going to get them all killed!!
About to push forward it was too late, the girl was struck picked up and then hauled away. Anger coursed through her body, if that girl was alive when they get her back she was going to yell at her. Walking past Junjie and gritting her teeth as she did so, she knew...she had little reason to go after the girl. She had come here to find her father and kill him, not play heroine. But Erionda was a hybrid like herself, had shown her kindness...and there was some small part of herself that would never forgive her if she let the girl die.
Turning her head sharply to Junjie she then addressed him.
"Come on. We need to move quickly." Her tone was sharp, as her gaze locked onto Esmeralda a moment acknowledging her presence and though she wasn't sure about fighting along side her...or how useful she would even be to them well...they would need all the help they could get.
Turning the staff in her hand crackled, like hot wood popping in a fire place before she strode forward as quickly as she dared move. They could not lose track of that thing.

Erionda
Rio wasn't surprised her first attack had missed. It was more of a distraction for Alpha in the end. Meant to distract the attacking Hybrid so Uassae could reclaim the injured. When her fist connected with Alpha Erionda's eyes widened with fear. His level and skill was beyond her own. He wasn't even phased by her attack. She hadn't even considered it was that weak to start with. He looked like she had no more than given him an insulting punch. Moving to step back her mismatched eyes flicked about in search of Lanzecki. She needed her sword and shield.
The hybrids heart stopped momentarily as Alpha spoke. Her eyes seemed to move at a slow pace back towards the attacker. She could sense Lanzecki's pure distress. Fear amplified from the bond between her Keindred and Uassae. The blow that connected with the side of her head felt painful, the world swam around her as Erionda blacked out with a scream.
Uassae and Lanzecki roared painfully in unison at Alpha's contact with Rio. Ignoring the intense pain Uassae shook his head as he tried to remember his instructions. Reclaim the young Dovaa. Gripping his teeth around the females clothing Uassae started dragging her back. Growling to anyone who came close enough to him. His job was to bring her back to Junjie.
Lanzecki finally blew into view his head facing the direction Alpha had dissipated into. "Erionda! Uassae... Erionda!" Creening painfully Lanzecki stomped into the ground. Lashing his tail against the sand.

Ekundayo
He looked at the opposing camp and his hollowed eyes squint in trying to get a better a look to see what camp it is. From what he can see are horns sticking up in the air and some of them having wings which concluded to his observation and nodded to Kilian’s question. “Aye, dey be the Dovii over dere . . .” And there was a commotion over there which created a terrible ache in his heart. Apparently he is not alone as he saw Kilian’s reaction for he looked angry and ready to charge over at the camp. Who is he worried about over there? Whoever it was, it made him determined to run over now as he apologized to Elleth and looking back to him as he posed the question to him. His hollowed eyes widen for he does have his reasons. Reasons that didn’t make him answer right away as he felt the nudge by Vilzun. “She might be there Eku . . . you have to go and see.” For once, Vilzun was right about it.
She might be there . . . the very words radiant inside of him as he looked back up to the warrior. “Esmy . . .” He muttered and watched him running off to the Dovaa camp with his Drakein. “Wait! Ya be crazy te go alone!” And Eku is going to be crazy like him for he’s going with him as he palmed his face; groaning at the decision that he made. He reached for a knife in his bag and used it to cut the stitches open from his lips and pulled out the blood threads as he stretched out his jaw before looking at Elleth with a sheepish grin. “What? I might be screamin’ dere and the stitches be troublin’ me.” He shrugged his shoulders and gave a brisk little wave at her as he walked backwards to the direction where Kilian ran off. “Nice meetin’ ya Elleth. Hope to see ya later if I be alive.” The mage chuckled as he spun around ran off with Vilzun by his side as he tries to avoid being seen by the other fighters until he hurried up and is running right behind Kilian.

As Erioda suddenly rushed forward in such manner, seeming to be eager to pick a fight with the strange being that he hesitated to call hybrid Junjie reached out, trying to grab hold of her... but missed. Much like the first time he'd seen her fight a dragon it would seem that she was trying to punch yet another dangerous creature. She really did like to try to punch things, didn't she? Just as with the dragon before though it didn't seem to be going all that well, the blows seeming to bounce off of him as though her fists were made of fluff. It was enough to cause anyone to worry... and he had good right to do so as a moment later she was getting knocked senseless by the strange creature, "Erionda!" He cried, taking a couple of quick steps forward toward the two of them, only to get pulled up short when Tilawen caught hold of his sleeve, "Tila?" He looked his friend over before turning his attention back to the direction in which that... thing was taking Erionda away.
It was one of those moments where he felt rather... angry. It was a foreign feeling for sure but one that felt warranted at the moment. That... thing, he really wasn't sure what to call it, had taken his friend away! He started in that direction when he noticed what it was that Uassae was doing, dragging the torn up Dovaa woman toward him. It was then that he found himself hesitating. She needed help... but surely there were other healers about? None that he knew of, none amongst the group that he was with, maybe some where in the camp but... how much time did she have? He shifted in the sand, feeling as though he were being pulled in two different directions at teh same time before he finally moved toward the Dovaa. He would help, cast a spell, help to stablize her. He wanted nothing more then to race after Erionda but he couldn't just abandon this woman. She was a stranger, yes, but she was also one that was in trouble. His mother would never forgive him were he to walk away from his duties as a healer he thought to himself before he hurried to Uassae and woman that he was dragging Junjie's direction.
Taking one knee he planted his staff in the ground, his hands moving to hover over the gruesome wounds she'd been given before they were engulfed in a glittering green energy, "Let's see about patching you up a bit." She would need rest, a whole lot of it, and would likely be unable to do much of anything after so much blood loss, but if she survive, then it would be worth it. Concentrating on the wounds he set to feeding the green energy into it, watching them as they slowly closed up. It was as the wounds were finally closed that he heard what Tilawen was saying, that they had to move quickly. He dragged himself up to his feet then, glancing at Uassae, "We will find her, keep yourself, Lanzecki, Abellio, and this woman safe alright?" He told him, lifting a hand to pat the big Drakein o the neck before grabbing up his staff, "Stay with Uassae, Abellio, he's going to need you with what happened to Erionda. Be a good boy and don't follow us." He told the Keindred, getting a whining response but the Ysali was at least agreeing.
With that done he gave the others a quick glance, worried for them, but knew he couldn't allow that strange, dangerous, violent creature to run off with Erionda, who knew what might happen? Hurrying forward he fell into step with Tilawen, their steps hurried ones, "Let's see if we can't at least keep up and figure out where he's taking her." He said, his voice sounding more then a little unhappy, eyes narrowed. His mood wasn't the best at the moment, he'd lost Erionda and he would be damned if he let anything happen to Tilawen! He would keep his friends safe no matter what!

Kilian Kilian shot out of the Oblivionite camp at a speed he'd never achieved before. Amaris was close behind him, doing her best to keep up with her angered friend. When she let out a warning growl Kilian looked back over his shoulder. He smiled faintly at the sight of Ekundayo. He may have just met the Oblivionite but he was very glad he was coming to. "Glad you decided to come. Who knows what we're up against."
Kilian frowned as he turned his attention back to the path in front of him. The Dovaa camp was becoming clearer and larger in his view the closer they came to it. His fists clenched before he reached up to his back and grabbed his daggers out of their sheaths. He'd be ready for a fight if needed.
Soon they were at the camp's edge. Kilian stopped in his tracks as he saw a figure running off into the distance. Was that Junjie? Gritting his teeth together he finally called out, not caring if it brought attention to him. He had more important things to think about at the moment. "Junjie!" The yelled name was swallowed up by all the other screams coming from in and out of the camp. Chaos seemed to reign at the moment. No one caring about a couple of Oblivionites being so close to the camp at the moment. Kilian, giving up on getting Junjie's attention turned his yelling back to the one who had caused him to run off so blindly.
"Erionda!" Kilian yelled desperately. He frantically looked around but saw no hint of the pink haired hybrid he so desperately wanted to find. "No..." He whispered as his eyes fell to a female Dovaa laying on the ground. She had been healed but he could tell it had been a violent attack. He looked up at the drakeins next to the unconscious Dovaa and his eyes widened. "Lanzecki...Uassea." Erionda's drakeins. That had to mean she was near. She would never have left her family alone for very long. "Where's Erionda?" He asked as he continued to look around the small crowd gathering. He feared the answer that was coming. Word Count: 363

OOC: Kadryn will wait to post till Maslin has! Don't worry, I'll get her to chase Alpha soon XD
Toki He heard Araceli's stuttering words and wondered what a hybrid was. I'll ask her later, he thought, now is no time for scholarly questions. Before he could ask what she meant by stitched together and how a person could be such, he heard and felt yet another thing happening.
He couldn't see what was happening, but he heard the cries and the load roar of a creature nearby. It sounded like the roar had come from a Magescian's throat, though how one of the two-leggers could produce a sound that usually came from a dragon or Drakein he couldn't figure out. He felt magic nearby and his long years in the desert told him that the magic had summoned a sand storm. Disgust filled him, didn't who ever summoned it know the dangers of sand storms?! Nature didn't take sides in a battle and when you unleashed her powers they'd hurt all not just your enemies!
"Idiots! To summon a sand storm of all things! They shouldn't mess with nature, bad things come from that!" Toki hissed as he quickly grabbed Araceli's clothes in his mouth, picked her up and moved behind a tent. He then wrapped himself around her and covered any openings with his wings so she wouldn't get smothered by the incoming sand.
In a roar of his own he bellowed out "Hide yourselves fools! If you get caught in the open in this storm you'll choke to death on sand!" He was safe, the Kiandri's of the Desert knew sand storms of old pnce they were fully grown, faced no danger from them. In fact they usually went out and slept in them since they did such a nice job of cleaning scales.... Magescian's though, he and his clan had seen their bodies after being caught by a sand storm. They'd suffocated to death.

Araceli Araceli gave a surprised squeak as Toki grabbed her and drug her behind a building. She saw the storm coming just as his wings surrounded her. "Thank you Toki." She whispered as she hugged close to the scaly body of the drakein. She hadn't known much about the race before now and still didn't really know much. All she knew is that she respected this particular drakein. He'd helped clam her nerves in ways that she didn't think possible at the moment. She felt safe with him near by. Maybe it was because, as a Dovaa, she had dragon like qualities to her? She wasn't sure. Word Count: 106

Maslin
Maslin frowned, hybrids were permitted in the camps provided they seemed willing to help with the war effort on some front. If one had snuck in under false pretenses and started killing people it didn't bode well for those who were just minding their own business. " I can't do anything about it," he replied with a shrug. He couldn't exactly walk away and go home at this point.
When the shouting got louder followed by a distant roar Maslin moved to the tent's opening and lifted the flap to peer outside. He couldn't tell exactly what was going on but the wall of orangish red cloudy dust flowing towards the camp and the suddenly high winds told him enough. He pulled his head back into the tent and shot Kadryn a concerned look. "We have bigger problems now."

Both Kavanna and Damian looked at the scene before them with horror. All in a matter of moments, a monstrosity above all else found the Dovaa encampment, struck down one of the Dovaa, and then ran off with another girl.
Everyone seemed to be in utter shock as to what had just occurred. Kavanna, without thinking, ran as fast as she could towards the lying girl. She was being healed by a healer near the camp. Then the monster ran off with another. This wouldn't do. "We need to go after it! We can't let it get away with this!" Kavanna called back towards the Dovaa in the camp. Damian agreed. They would need to chase after that monster as soon as possible.
Damian ran to his mother's side and the two then decided it would be best to try and gather a few people to go after the monster before they just took off alone. "Who is with us?" he called, raising his scepter to the sky.

Tilawen
Tilawen had slowed her pace when she had noticed that Junjie had lagged behind, half turning she realized with a snort that he was tending to the dovaa woman who had been ripped up by the creature. How could he be wasting time with that one? He didn't even know her, and if she was conscious she would probably stick a knife in him. Anger welled up inside of her though as she returned her gaze to where the creature had been ahead of her...all that was left was..a wake of dust that was its path.
The wood in her hand crackled and popped in anger, for now she had lost it. By pausing to see what Junjie was doing she lost the creature who had Erionda. Moving forward she wasn't about to let that stop her. Though it was going to be a lot harder now that she couldn't see it. Foot steps fell in line with her own. Tilawen didn't need to look over to see who it was it was Junjie though she was still annoyed with him for helping some stranger when it was Erionda was the one in trouble she felt a bit relieved that he was back at her side.
"We have lost him." She murmured the fire in her tone was evident as she slowed her hurried pace looking quite cross.

Esmeralda
Her warning bells set off as soon as the girl started her powers, what the hell was she doing if she was Dovaa? Unless she wasn’t at all a Dovaa and she was about to take Esmeralda down with… Was that ice magic? Maybe this girl was a Hybrid and she was half Orderite, that would explain why she was so close and why she was reacting in such a way towards Esme. The Peisio Dovaa hadn’t wanted to admit that the ORderites may have provoked them into this war, but now she wasn’t so sure anymore. Maybe they had instigated this, and now she was going to be taken down by one of them.
Esmeralda would had no qualms shouting for attention or even using her own powers against the warrior, she was not beyond getting the girl killed if she truly was with the Orderites. When Taliwen also began looking like she might prepare for battle, Esmeralda stared at her too. What the hell was going on? But it was Jun’s expression and his words that made her turn too. The Peisio had no words for what she saw, even at this distance she could make out the weird form.
And there went Junjie going off towards this creature… Well. There were other Dovaa there, gathering now around the creature, other warriors as the Dovaa camp awoke. She didn’t wait for Tila or anyone to tell her what to do, those were Dovaa out thre fighting that thing, she had to go or Erisi would have her head if he had known she was so close to the battle and hadn’t helped. So off she went towards the beast, while a little behind on the group she reached them when Jun was done healing the Dovaa girl. She was glad he was on her side and not the other traitorous one.
While the Dovaa girl was saved, the one who had readied herself to attack her seemed to have been taken by the monster thing. Everyone was talking about following it to save the girl and then kill it. Esmeralda was unable to do both, the other warriors would need healing and she couldn’t run off with the group. They needed someone who was a trained battle healer, not a scholar.

Kilian Kilian gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. This was driving him crazy. Erionda's drakeins were distracted and she was no where in site. Ekundayo had not caught up with him but he didn't care. Kilian looked towards the storm that was coming in on the camp and took a deep breath. He could last through them. He'd been through a few during his time on Eowyn and the cloth over his face helped tremendously and of course he had no eyes to protect. Amdia was surprisingly tough too. Maybe it was the Kiandri blood running through her? He wasn't sure.
All that he knew was that he was heading head first into that storm after Junjie. If Erionda wasn't around the camp then that meant she'd run off with Junjie. Kilian took off running into the storm, Amadia close on his heels. "No time to wait for Ekundayo. He'll just have to catch up." Kilian said to Amadia. Agreed. She said in response. They had to act fact and the longer the stayed at the Dovaa camp the farther ahead everyone else got. Plus, he didn't feel comfortable in an enemy camp. Word Count: 193

Ekundayo
A grin was seen on his face as he ran with Kilian to the Dovaa camp. Already he has made his mind about what he wanted to do in this battle and the mage was completely satisfied with it; even if he might get another stern talking with Cassius. Eku really didn't care. "Heh, of course I be comin'. Ya be crazy to go dere alone so I gotta go wit' ya." That was the plan, but then he heard a straining cry by Vilzun which made him stopped running and looked back to see him moving so groggy and tired that made him groan out loud. "Vilzun! Dis is why ya be needin' a diet mon!" Of all times to need a break! But he can't leave him behind as he ran back to him and pushed the Keindred to hurry up. Hopefully after this, the Keindred will lose a couple of pounds or more.
He was late to hurry up but soon he had arrived to see a massive storm ahead and also some people have headed off to it. Even Kilian and Amadia has ran towards to the storm and he knows he has to go there. But the moment he was about to take a first step, there, he saw Esmeralda. The mage froze in place the moment he saw her at just in complete and utter shock. "Esmy . . ." Why was she here?! She's not a battler at all! But that didn't matter right now as he ran towards her and dropped his scepter to the ground as his arms was wide open and pulled her into his embrace so tightly. He held her so tightly for it felt like ages since they last seen each other as his head pressed to her side of her head. "Esmeralda . . . Esmeralda, I be so happy . . . so happy te see ya. But not here at the battle d'ough . . ." Eku chuckled for it was the last place he would ever see her and the most dangerous place too. But she was safe and that's all it matters.
Vilzun began to cry out to him to tell him that they had to go and follow them as Eku looked over to see him. Whatever it was over there, they need all able body battlers. And it means he has to go now after he just saw her again. The mage looked back at her with a frown on his face since the parting is so painful. He reached his hand in his bag and reached over to grab his knife and gave it to her; grabbing her hand and forcing Esmeralda to grab the knife. "Protect yaself Esmy, please . . ." His other hand reached up to caress her face as his fingers grazed against her cooling Peisio scales for he wanted to remember her face just before he went off to battle.
He stepped away from her and walked away to get his scepter but then the mage stopped walking. This can't be it. He doesn't know if he's going to make it from whatever that is going on. And so, he turned around and walked back to the Dovaa as he grabbed her by the wrist to pull Esmeralda up close with an arm wrapped around her waist. His hollowed eyes stared down to her eyes and he then leaned down and kissed her upon her delicate lips. The mage kissed her passionately seeing him closing his hollowed eyes for he wanted her to know how he feels about her if something were to happen, but he will come back one way or another. He slowly parted his lips away from hers as his dark lips brushed against her and he smiled as their foreheads were pressed against another. "I be back . . . Esmeralda." And he finally stepped away from her and ran off with a hand scooping down to grab his scepter tightly in his hand to join with the others with Vilzun by his side.

Temporary truce
Marcus had been on the other side of the camp when the disturbance began and as people crowded around the problem area it had become hard to see hat was going on. Initially dismissing the incident as a fight breaking out amongst untrained warriors he had continued to discuss with his council the best way to turn the tides in their favour. It was only when a series of terrified screams rang out that he had turned his attention back in that direction. Too late he spotted one of his own being attacked by a strange creature that was like a mockery of all the magescan races combined. Held aloft in the sky on his slowly beating wings Marcus had no time to issue a command or take charge of the situation before more people surged forward to challenge the stranger and found themselves injured and then captured. Something inside the man twisted painfully, if only he had taken the situation serious at the onset. The situation got rapidly worse as a massive cloud of dust and sand billowed out from the mountains and threatened to engulf the camps. For the first time in ages the peisio dovaa swore as he lowered himself to the ground and shouted for the emergency orbs to be brought to him. As strong winds began to whip across the plain, pushing sheets of sand with them the man balled his fists in frustration. This was the last thing he needed right now, an unknown enemy, visibility brought down to near zero and air filled with grit in the midst of battle. As he awaited the emergency orbs Marcus ordered those around him to back up, the moment he had sufficient space the man began to transform. He had not taken dragon form in a very long time but the peisio dovaa remembered how to summon the magic from inside him that unlocked the change. When all was said and done a massive blue dragon was parked in front of the camp's main tent. Marcus kept his head ducked behind one wing though, to prevent the sand from getting into his eyes and nose for the moment. None too soon a pair of familiar boots came into view and a large chest was laid at the peisio dovaa's feet. He reached out with one claw and flipped open the lid. Inside were large orbs filled with dragon's souls, they were even bigger than the ones given to apprentices when they chose their clans. Carefully he lifted out a silver with that was filled with wisps of dark grey soul magic resembling trapped miniature tornadoes. With the orb secure in his left claw Marcus launched himself into the hazy orangish air. Marcus fought for a moment against the wind, wings beating furiously before crushing the Ayrala orb in his claw. Instantly it was easier to move and remain steady in the air as the essence of the Ayrala dragon temporarily filled him. Using the power of wind , magnified many times over he fought back against the storm created by the unknown beast out in the mountains. He had to tame the winds and clear the air if there was to be any successful pursuit of the.. being that had kidnapped one of his people. ~ Aevah's eyes were directed up at the sky, she watched through a gauzy scarf as Marcus sought to tame the unnatural winds with his own dragon soul enhanced magic. Rather than coming from his hands or any magical weapon the dovaa directed the air magic with his wings and the large blue limbs had a faint silver glow to them right now. Marcus was so distracted right now he could be felled in an instant. Aevah was honourable though, despite Marcus' accusations towards her and her people she would not stoop so low as to attack the man when he was trying to defend them all. Always preferring to use the magic gifted to her by Seren, Aevah had no dragon souls on hand to help out although she could see several orderites nearby who were using ayrala orbs and a few who seems to be using gaili souls to create small walls of rock to divert the incoming sand away from the main camp. ~ Draco was no mage and the magics Soudana had shared with him were useless in this situation. He also didn't care for the way using a dragon's magic made him feel. The Oblivionite leader swiftly retreated into the safety of one of the tents and waited patiently for those better equipped to deal with whatever disaster had originated at the dovaa camp to end. He had seen something truly disturbing through his binoculars and not a one of his peers knew what to make of the monstrosity they had caught glimpses of. Fortunately the man did not have long to wait to find out. When the winds died down and the air was no longer tinted orange Draco reemerged to find the dovaa camp hoisting a white flag bearing a shield. Pale coloured flags meant the other side wanted a temporary truce or to negotiate, the shield meant the stubborn old dovaa was requesting help. It figured Marcus would fail his first time trying to lead, he might have won the leadership of the dovaa people long ago but he was not meant to be a general. It had been nearly a decade since anyone had raised such a flag and that had been when what could only be described as a swarm of Kiandri and Firani drakein had decided to descend upon the battlefield threatening all three races. An answering flag was being raised now by Aevah though and if for no reason than to satisfy his curiosity Draco ordered the same. For the moment there would be no more fighting. Quote: [ Marcus has requested a ceasefire and aid, everyone is now safe to approach the dovaa camp. We will move out to catch Alpha, his accomplice and Erionda the next time the meta updates. BTW Brolis says Marcus' dragon form is about the size of an elephant, not taking wingspan into account. For those of you that ran ahead please roll a 12 sided die, If you rolled odds you were caught between the two wind and sand forces and are trapped in sand.(not a big deal, you can dig yourself out). If you rolled evens you surfed that crazy storm like a boss. You can also faintly see a blobby collection of shapes rapidly disappearing into the distance.
