Ironclaw squawked in surprise, turning around as she would see the Zorua attacking, the two were plummeting through the air and still the Zorua was fighting like a truebred flier!
She turned in mid-air, her body sagging and weighing, they were crashing to the ground... but she had to time this right, or face crashing into it right on her back!
With her wings fighting from being folded back by the wind, she sent up her claws, and as the Zorua came closer, grabbed out, trying to catch the Zorua mid-strike!

The attempt would fail however as the Zorua manoeuvred through the air at angles impossible for even the most adept flier. It wasn't a matter of skill but physical limitations. Still brimming with confidence from his earlier strike the Dark-Type would manage to get passed his opponents defence, slamming into Ironclaw's leg...but the despite the actual hit her own natural defences would halt the blow. She could probably count herself lucky this was no Zoroark!
Snuffing slightly the Zorua would prance away back to the ground, the shadows leaving his steps. The land was where he was mightiest of all, and so he had no reason to remain in the air.
The Zorua would hit the leg with a clashing shudder of metal, but not as much a dent, luckily for Ironclaw!
However, it wasn't quite over, as she looked behind her, he could make a landing, she could not! She surrendered her wings, folding them to drop like a stone, but only so she could turn, her body twisting the right way up before she suddenly opened her wings, letting the wind suddenly catch her and send her upward again, her belly just avoiding brushing the ground!
She wheeled up and round, her eyes searching, until in an instant he found her prey, the shadows gone from his footsteps...
[Got you.] She cooed silently to herself.
He wouldn't see it coming, like any other small carrion she had hunted in the wild, he turned, diving. As he seemed so secure on all fours he had seemingly forgotten about her!! Beak blazing forward, she set forth to end this with one final, decisive Peck!

Indeed this would be the decisive strike, and with it the Zorua would collapse onto the ground. Rather then clearing however the mist would intensify, turning black as smog. A brief image would flash before them quicker then the average blink, and the Zorua's body would be gone, and the mists would recede. They'd defeated a Nightmare, though clearly it was just an agent, an extension of the true beast's will.
Jasmine wouldn't be leaving empty handed however, as she'd find an odd little thing left in the beast's place. A small, semi-translucent purple shard of what looked to be glass or crystal.
[DREAM SHARD: 1 Use. Awaken's a Pokemon's hidden potential, unlocking their Dream Ability in place of their true one.]
As the Zorua would fall, Jasmine was almost an instant away from hollering Nightingale in to try and see to the fallen Zorua, but it seemed it wasn't meant to be. In a maelstrom of black and eclectic flashes, in an instant, it was over.
Even Ironclaw would blink, checking her beak, there wasn't even a drip of blood, just like a dream, it had came and went. [Huh.]
"Well... that was... different..." Jasmine mused, watching on.
[Not to follow a cliché however?] Burnout would float down, the crystal in sight as he would hover over it for the others to note.
In moments, Jasmine was over, struggling for a second, but still she managed to pick it up herself despite the braces, in time enough for Ironclaw to arrive aside her.
"Well... guess we've got something to remember that Zorua by..." She bit down on her lip... killing, even in an apparant dream left a bad taste in her mouth, "This might be important though..."
With that she popped the thing in her satchel, the strange crystal saved for later, as Ironclaw would help her up, the crew heading forward once again...
[You think we'll have any clue what just happened?] Nightingale asked. [That mask? And the smog and everything else?]
Jasmine pursed lips as she settled once again in her seat. "I guess there's only one way to find out from here..."
"Let's keep moving and see."

Venturing further into the land of the eternal dream Jasmine would find herself met with an odd sound before an odd sight. An odd sort of warble would reach her ears, sung in a tongue neither Pokemon, nor a language she'd find herself familiar with. The possessor of the voice was a Miltank, staked out in one of the few patches of grass one could find in the rugged mountains...and yet rather then in the grass, she stood on a barren patch of ground right in the center of it. Perfectly circular, she seemed to have worked out some sort of ring, though one far too small for a Pokemon Battle. Sitting in the middle of the ring, though there appeared to be an appropriately built chair off to the side, the singing Miltank seemed to be polishing some sort of shield.
It was Jasmine of all of them who heard it first, the girl blinking as she'd crane her head, turning to the side toward the sound, but apparantly no other had yet noticed it, suddenly pulling back on Ironclaw's armor to try and turn her slightly, "Wait! Hold up!"
Ironclaw would halt, not that Jasmine was strong, but it certainly felt annoying to be tugged upon, she frowned, but she ceertainly expected something important to get her attention so sudden... [Yes?]
As Ironclaw would stop, so would the rest of their caravan, as Jasmine would nod, and they'd turn, one by one towards the sound.
There was the Miltank, her strange circle and chair... Jasmine wasn't sure WHAT to make of it all, blinking again, but she had to garner the Miltank's attention at least... "Excuse me?"
"This area isn't safe, is there something you're waiting for here?"
There was a slight bounce in Ada's step as she walked, Impromptu bobbing his head up and down walking like a show dog would next to her. Every now and then the girl would stop to let out an encouraging statement along the lines of "are you READY?" or "Who's the greatest?" To which the dog would just yap in response. The duo was excited of course, who wouldn't be? It wasn't every day stuff like this happened! An extraordinary event called for an extraordinary attitude, and these two were showing it to the fullest!
Ada would be looking to the left and impromptu to the right, occasionally switching sides. If they were going to find anything at all they'd have to stay attentive!

A darkness would seem to roll over the area ...from the moment that Ada took her step off of the rainbow ....the area would grow to match a thunderstorm all around her.
A flash of thunder would make it clear that that is exactly what she had walked into to ....as a voice would declare dangerously.
"Well ...well ...well, look who we have here?"
The girl that came out of the darkness was unbelievable familiar as she would flick her hair to one side, and then sneer at her step sister."
"Cinder-ella."
It was a horrible pun, and the girl knew it, but still didn't care.
"You little horrible rag a muffin. No one wants you nor care about you, and your entire family except for your mum is nothing but cowards. So, I am glad I get a chance to meet you here ...it's time to put you in your place."
The girl would cackle a bit at her own use of words.

For a moment the Miltank would continue singing, finishing that last verse she'd been performing during Jasmine's terribly rude interruption. Her reaction however wasn't nearly so calm. Doubling over, the Miltank actually rolled head over tail, landing in something of a heap before shouting ">STAY BACK!<" She screamed, grabbing at her udder protectively ">YOU CAN'T HAVE MIEN MILK! ALL YOU HORRIBLE LITTLE CREATURES WANT MY MILK!<" She cried out angrily, moving her hooves to cover her considerable udder, already dripping. It didn't seem likely she'd actually been milked for quite some time, and based on her actions it seemed likely to have been a problem long before the nightmare came.
Jasmine's hand hovered in mid-air as if she were about to ask a question, but lowered, not quite sure where to begin...
Talking to these dream creatures was a strange affair... She could certainly see a pattern emerging, but with this one, she didn't quite know how to act on her irritability...
She wasn't sure talking was going to help, but still...
"No, no, it's okay, promise?" She tried, "We're here because there are bad forces at work... And... THEY might want to take your milk!"
She fought with herself for a way to back herself up, an idea popping into her head, as she'd open her satchel and pull out a ffamilier looking bottle of white milky goodness, "See? I already have milk, so I wouldn't try and take yours!"
She slipped the bottle quickly back, just in case the Miltank would try anything.
"It's really not safe out here, can we help you in anyway just now?"

Rather then calming her down, Jasmine's display only seemed to rile the Miltank up. With a look which couldn't be claimed as anything short of absolutely aghast, the Normal-Type would cry out ">I KNEW IT! YOU ARE AFTER MIEN MILK!<" With that the Miltank would rise ">One taste never works! Then all they want is mien milk! Well no! It is mien, and you cannot have it!<" Abruptly the Miltank would snort, adjusting her stance slightly ">And if you will not go Isabella will make you!<" She declared, eyes narrowed...yet there was something off still. Rather then standing at the edge of the ring like in a Pokemon battle she stood only a step from the center, half bent as if stopping in the middle of a crouch, her forehooves placed on her knees. It looked almost like...a Sumo Wrestler?
Jasmine sighed... It seemed like she was stuck in a narrative, no matter what she said, the Miltank would not be calmed... And now, there it was striding into the ring!
She took a moment to consider, they could have moved on, but she didn't want to leave it alone for whatever nightmare came next.... She'd already failed the Psyduck and Buneary...
"Alright." She said aloud as down she'd slide carefully from Ironclaw, crutch at the ready as she moved toward the ring herself!
[I think we've had enough of THAT behaviour!] came the warning-less decree of the Skarmory as a beak plucked Jasmine bodily upward, then plopped her down on the chair suddenly at the ringside, the girl poking thoroughly Undignified throughout as she was handled like a chick.
Jasmine went to protest, but Ironclaw only shook her head. [Dont sort, this is what we're here for, right?]
Glancing to the Chansey, Ironclaw gestured at Jasmine with a wingtip. [You take care of her, I'll take care of Mary Moo over here...]
Eyes set, she walked into the ring, her talons clicking and jangling in their metal like a cowboy's struts as they went for High Noon. Facing down the Miltank, she stood firm, one foot stamping down on the ground, then the other. [Ready Isabella?]

PokéSumo! Objective: Push the other Pokémon out of the ring! Rules: Power is decided by the Pokemon's weight x Their Roll. To successfully push a Pokemon out of the ring you must roll at least twice their weight five times without being pushed back. First Pokemon to push the other out of the ring wins!
The Miltank, apparently named Isabella, snorted once, followed by a rather loud moo before stopping the ground once with each hood. ">You a big one. Isabella no like them big. Cute and small is best!<" She announced before rather abruptly plowing forward. Throwing her weight around the Miltank immediately began thrusting her forehoves forward, slapping at the air and soon enough a certain Skarmory as she attempted to push the big metal bird backward!
Ironclaw didn't have appendages per se to perform a traditional Sumo stance, nor did she have the knowledge even to match it, but she did know one thing...
And that was how to throw her weight around!
As Isabella would come at her, she would move forward quickly, quick enough that Isabella would find her face pressed against a heavy metal chest along with her hands, that the two would be locked together fighting for momentum, as Ironclaw's thinner, but manoueverable legs sought the traction to keep pushing that Miltank back!
[Cute and small... like you!?]
All the while, their audience watched, as Jasmine looked from her seat, picking up a strange paddle-like object beside her. "...Am I supposed to do something with this?"
