There was something in the kid's hair. Len frowned and looked closer. Wait. The boy had ... dog ears? And there was a tail sticking out from under the blanket. And the noises he was making sounded more doglike than human. Had he ... had he brought a monster inside? Had he just let a dragon half kill him to save something that had never needed saving in the first place?
"What are you?" he spat, suddenly furious. "You're not human!"

Fluffy merely stared up at the human as he frowned, clutching at the blanket sheepishly and attempting to curl up into a smaller ball on the floor as he peered up. And then tried to scramble back at the sudden yelling. Blanket abandoned he scooted away and found a desk to huddle under instead, tailed curled around him as he looked up rather terrified at the man.
What had happened? What had he done? Another low whimper as he opened his mouth and then slunk lower. Hadn't he been a friend? He gave him a treat right? [I'm Fluffy.] He was a Cerberus, wasn't that obvious?
...then again maybe it wasn't, as he looked down at his own odd form confused, then back up to the person. Was it something the humans did? Why was he even like this? He'd never been this way before. "-oo?" It was trying to mimic the word he'd heard several times. That noise. 'You.' But sadly, it was closer to a little half mumble of a noise not too unlike his own normal sounds than anything.
The kid - or whatever it was - scooted away at Len's shout, hiding under a desk and staring at him with betrayed puppy eyes. It wasn't attacking him. It was, in fact, acting very much like a kicked puppy, and Len felt bad. Then he felt another surge of anger for feeling bad about it; but the anger melted slowly as he got another look at the kid. Puppy. Thing. Whatever. It was just sitting there and trembling.
Did the kid shape mean that the creature was just ... a kid? A puppy? This was confusing. Len stepped back out into the lab and picked the blanket up. If this was one of the creatures from the park, maybe it was just a kid. They hadn't been made that long ago, and this one wasn't being aggressive, like the black dog creature that had accompanied them on the way to the docks.
"Wait," Len said, and crouched down in front of the desk. "Are you that dog? Good doggie?" he tried, uncertain.

Leonard had been close to being bombarded with more tears, caused by confusion and a general lack of understand. Thankfully the fact he hadn't started yelling halted the growing knot in the Cerberus' stomach as he remained hunched over in his spot. He did flinch lightly as the man moved, though only froze and watched as he lifted up the blanket and moved over slowly.
There was no aggression in Fluffy's posture, if anything he was a good submissive little dog. That didn't even know how to walk straight anymore. Though as the man crouched down and spoke again, the previously low ears perked up a bit, and his tailed wagged a bit. [I'm always a good Cerberus.] Was the reply that Len couldn't hear, thankfully he did bob his head a bit in a mock fashion to humans at that before moving a bit.
He didn't reach out a hand for a hug like a kid might have, but rather tried to headbutt the man and bury his face in his chest. Because that was how he always got close to things normally.
Yeah, it was the dog from before. Len had less than no idea as to why the dog was now a kid with a tail, but he'd seen enough impossible s**t yesterday and today. He'd gone past shock into a kind of numb acceptance of magic. What was a dog turning into a kid after all that?
Maybe, he rationalized, maybe the puppy had been in danger after all. Obviously he liked humans, and a monster who liked humans might get attacked among all the monsters who obviously didn't. The thumping and battering on the walls of the building suggested that the monsters were trying pretty hard to get inside and kill the humans. The puppy might get put into the same category.
Len held the blanket out, then jumped a little as the kid headbutted him and hid against his chest. He wrapped the blanket around the puppy's shoulders and patted his back tentatively. "Yeah, you're a good puppy, aren't you? You did a good job helping us. You don't know how to be a person, do ya? Well, that's okay, you're just a puppy. You can't go downstairs, but do you wanna get on the couch? How about that?"
He cast a nervous look at the windows. How long would it be till the monsters outside broke through? What would happen then?
Fluffy! Caesar yowled outside, throwing himself against the building again. We save! We save!!
He was easily roped into the theory that the human had taken the cerberus. The bigfoot didn't know why but he could only assume it was a bad thing. The only time they'd ever been brought inside by humans was for bad things.

Banshee screamed along the side of the building. They had taken one of hers, and it was crying- she could hear it.

She looked to the few monsters that were helping and nodded, plodding once more against the side of the building. It was a sturdy building, assuredly, but nothing was impenetrable. She looked to the little (from her perspective) bigfoot that was helping her. < We will save him! > They would. Definitely.

Busy looking over the books he didn't mind the other man moving around in the room or Cora typing away at the computer. Feeling the reach at his shirt he turns to Cora and lifts a brow at the screen. Leaning in to read the information that had popped up, scratching his head soon after. "...Hm." Thanks to all the screams and roars coming from outside, coupled with the shaking of the entire building from time to time thinking wasn't really happening at this point beyond short burst.
What in the world was going on out there?!
Even if he couldn't concentrate for long a sentence stood out in the passage to him as if it were written in bold; Monsters and creatures of Fear have it in for humanity, and only the Hunters stop them. Hunters? Like with bows and arrows? What did that mean, Antonio rubbed over his chin then peered towards the stairs when he heard a man shouting in the office.
The sounds seemed to only be getting louder, there was shouting in the office, his heart was nearly in his throat and - Where was Cora! Panicked for a moment he turns swiftly to look and spots her getting ready to move for the other man. "..." He chuckled softly, mostly to calm himself down, though in all honestly likely looked a little insane for laughing at that moment.
The office walls echoed loudly as it continued to be obviously attacked from the outside. Breathing heavily he peered to the computer, the man not having moved behind it yet, striding over he looks down at Cora then leans in and punches a bunch of random things into the computer. Technology and him were not friends, however you never know when just mashing buttons like on a super Nintendo controller will work. After he was done he moved back and offered an apology, "Sorry about that.." The office, he should go check that out, flushed he excused himself back up the stairs to see what was going on.

Around 6'0ft in height and has curly brown hair along with a tattoo on his arm. his clothing is now tattered and filthy. Brief Character Profile: Stubborn. Anyone that's met Antonio knows he's a little uneasy around a large number of people, one that prefers to do his job with as minimal talking as necessary after all he's there to do a job not make a friend. While he's a bit of a hard-a** when works involved he is able to cut loose and lay back when the situation for it arrives. He's an observer by nature which can have him coming off a little creepy at times.. well that and his own twisted sense of humor. All in all he's a generally silent sweet man until his temper gets the better of him or his 'inspiration' strikes.
At least the two new additions had acknowledged her presence in some, not in a formal greeting which would have been highly acceptable but their passing eyes made it obvious they saw her unlike some other two. It would be enough for now as she completed her circle of the building, finding nothing since... really she had no idea what she was looking for.
But then, came something that caught her by such surprise. The fluffy Cerebus suddenly... changed. Reaver's eyes went wide and she stopped in her tracks but how fluid his shift went, and how sudden his cries became so human like. Maybe that's what attracted the others to come and attack, let alone the human out of the building - only to retrieve the now human looking-ish... boy back in.
[ wait! ] Reaver screamed out, as she threw herself at the building with very little effect at all. [ What did you do?! How did you do that? ] The behemoth had slightly different motives here as opposed to "saving" the pup from the human. As amazing as she thought she was already, she just wanted to try what he had done.

There was a monster inside. "Open door." he call to the little puppy thing. Yes open it so the humans could die. Seraphim felt a little kindred with the puppy because it now looked so human, but also annoyance. He wanted in with the human.

Yep, because the monsters turning into people was totally normal. Except not. And the things had no idea how to handle being human, which led to the sheepish dog. He didn't really mind the blanket or being close to people, some part of him recalled when he'd been smaller and in the labs. Before the mountain.
People were normal. He liked them. They were as close to being his parents as he'd ever had. Which kind of made him want to hide near them when he was unsure. Right about now being a good example of it. He sort of just clung to the man, tail wagging a bit at the patting and words. He merely nodded further not fully comprehending what it all was. Just that it was better than being yelled at and it probably was some explanation. Even if it wasn't.
He looked up as the man did, eyeing the windows briefly before growling at a loud crash. Even if he was small and unsure, he didn't really feel any weaker. Just.. unsure. Worse than before. Before it was just being lonely, now he was something he shouldn't be. Though the mention of getting on something was offered as he slowly worked to crawl out further from under the desk alongside Len. He did have the sense to sort of cling to the blanket, but it was obvious with how he kept adjusting his hands that he wasn't entirely sure how these finger things worked.
And thumbs? Don't get him started on that. It was just sort of curled against his hand when he wasn't once again fidgeting about. [Not a person.] Of course he didn't know how. He'd never sat on a couch before, so he wasn't quite sure what one was. Something about size and not fitting normally most likely. Still, he'd probably agree to most anything the human said at that point. He didn't know. "Tat." Mimicking noises probably wouldn't make anymore sense though. The sounds he made didn't really make sense either. Barking he knew. Growling. Whimpering. How could he make other odd noises now?
Cora glance towards Tonio, she herself not liking the noises. Placing her hands to her ears, she takes in a few slow deep breaths trying to calm herself. She just had to block it all out, it would be that simple.
But it wasn't that simple...
Glancing towards Antonio as he heads back upstairs, she felt her heart stop. She was honestly scared that something was going to happen to him. Turning towards the computer, she frowns for a moment before she gives it one more shot.
Nothing...
With a sigh, she moves away from the keyboards, crackling her knuckles before she follows after Tonio. She was curious, but scared at the same time.

Len patted the puppy's back and guided him over towards the couch. Every dog he'd ever known had liked being allowed to get on the couch. Maybe monster dogs would too. The situation had gone surreal enough that his sense of reality was shutting down in self-defense. "Here you go, good puppy," he said, and patted the couch cushions.
There were footsteps on the stairs, and Len turned around to see who was coming back up to the lab.
His current failure to do much of anything was making the bigfoot rather upset. He was stomping and pounding and throwing himself shoulder first into the building. It seemed to be working with all of their collective efforts. A few cracks were snaking their way down the walls.
