Elijah did not have to be told twice to get the hell out of Dodge. He saw the monster puff into dust and he was on his feet like lightning, high tailing it for the exit past the chaos the animal pens had become.
This time, luck was with him and he made to the entrance and out into the carnival proper. Now he just had to hope he didn't get waylaid on his way to the carnival exit and he'd be home free.
Poor Athene... didn't even get a thank you.

Aldebaran was happy that people on the same side as her was popping up more and more. First was the pretty lady in purple that now seemed to be heading towards the silver haired man. She shouted towards her. "Kick his butt, Miss! He shouldn't be hurting people who can't fight back!"
She was more than ready to send another phoenix to bother the card-man, but Aldebaran was afraid that she wouldn't be able to use it anymore. Instead, she went over to a smaller youma that seemed to look like a large rat of some sort, gave it a nice kick like she would if she was kicking a ball, and the thing vanished.
When another Senshi with wings on her butt gave her the thumbs up, Aldebaran smiled happily. She paused for a little bit, watching the Senshi in auction. After the Senshi punched the youma in the face, Aldebaran jumped up slightly and cheered, slightly unaware of how much danger they were still all in. "Yay," Aldebaran let out as she gave the Senshi her own two thumbs up.

Ida's mouth was a grim line as she watched Opal recover from her barrage of petals, the attack powered up from before, but still not as powerful as she wished it could be. Unfortunately, if she cast it again she would be out for the count... so the rest of this fight would have to be old fashioned brawling, unless worst came to worst and there was no other choice. Her second use always had to be a finishing move, or it left her terribly vulnerable.
"I don't truly want to fight you. Release the energy and star seeds you've taken and you can go in peace." The senshi said as she danced back on her toes, keeping her arms up to defend herself. The bracelet about her hand made a tinkling sound as she moved, glinting in the light. At least this fight was having some effect... this particular officer hadn't stolen any thing else from the remaining civilians for a while now. Just gotta keep this up until she tires out or opens herself up for the finishing blow.
Opal was beyond posturing or false protests and questioning why they can't all just get along? ******** getting along! She'd have none of it. If this senshi didn't fear her now she'd damn well make sure she would. One way or another she'd end it. She advanced faster, coming up toe to toe with Ida. For a moment once she stopped she didn't move again. She wanted her opponent hurt and scared.
"You want me to give it all back?" She slammed her hand into the senshi's chest, moving to grasp the girl's starseed. "Make me."
Cause God knew she wasn't about to give them back on her own. Total: 149 Starseeds: 2
Pompeii glanced at the chibi and had a good feeling that she was about to pick a fight with a much bigger danger then she had yet to face. But she wasn't going to back down, not until this insanity was done with. She just had to get to them first.
A youma blocked her way... A large dog like creature that bared its fangs and didn't seem to want to go after anyone else. When it pounced she punched and it did nothing more then roll off of her back onto its feet. Pompeii way was truly blocked and she had to dust it before she could continue after the silver haired nega.

she will be held up one way or another till you get on or until this part is done ^^
There had been witty words right there on the tip of his tongue; something smart to say, something flashy as he summoned his weapon back right from beneath the little runt of a senshi's foot. It was right there and had almost made it past his lips...
When a beast of a youma smashed through the side of a nearby pen, sending pieces of metal and shards of wood flying towards him. He cursed as the force shoved him back, knocking him rather hard into one of the stands. That would teach him to showboat in the middle of a battle...

Beyond frustrated Pompii circled the youma wearily... trying to figure out a way to dust it when a different youma apparently took offense to a cage and shattered it, taking out the silver haired nega in the possess. A shard of debris bounced across the straw and blood scattered ground. A quick doge to the left distracted the dog youma long enough for Pompeii to grab the shard. After a tussle with the youma she use it like a dagger to dust the thing. "Good riddance."
Limping from a twisted ankle, stupid boots, Pompeii finally made it back to the chibi's side. Glancing at the nega Pompeii shook her head sadly, "Karma is a real... Twitch." At the last moment she changed what she was about to say, after all she was standing next to a young child.

Got to love the little or in my case odd rolls ^^'
Lassell, watched the chaos unfold. There were so many questions reeling through his head. Was he risking his secret identity? would everything work out? Why on earth would negas wreak havoc on an event that was meant for fun. He watched for a second longer before he heard a civilian scream at the sight of a youma. He rushed over to the location and raised his hands his harp appearing. He eyed the youma down carefully before deciding on a defensive tactic.
The chaos unfolding sorta ruined his date but he couldn't do anything it was part of his job description as a knight. He hustled over and targetted the youma preventing it from attacking and sapping the energy of the poor civilian. He had no time to think before he aimed a hit in the gut of the youma.
Leda watched in shock, if not a bit of excitement, when the lion returned and tackled the lieutenant instead. Once the beast landed upon her, Leda diverted her eyes and searched the crowd for something more she could do. Throngs of youma intermixed with far too many people and animals to count... How was she supposed to know where to go, what to do? The other senshi appeared to handle everything on their own, so what did they need her for? All she managed was to dust a couple youma and piss off a lieutenant. She couldn't even attack her right...
The only feasible option she could come up with was to run. She needed to take a breather, to escape the madness if only for a moment. She needed time to think, and she needed to hear herself think. All this noise, all these people shouting for help and direction... She didn't know how the other senshi managed it. Maybe she wasn't cut out for the senshi life after all - if she couldn't save these civilians from the clutches of the Negaverse, what good was she to the White Moon cause?
Leda skirted the lieutenant's tango with the lion and made a beeline for the entrance. Maybe if she could escape from here, she could do some serious reevaluation of her choices... And live to see another day. It pained her to abandon her allies, all these people who needed help, but she understood that she could do nothing in this situation. She simply wasn't equipped for the job.
So she left.

Athene felt a sense of relief as the dreadlocked guy finally seemed to listen and started moving, hopefully to get out of here.
A ‘thank you’ would have been nice, but at least that was one less civilian to worry about – and it meant that he could finally manage try and track down the chaos signatures that he was sensing.
Making his way through panicked civilians, on the loose youma and rampaging animals was easier said than done however, although Athene reckon that he was managing to do a relatively okay job, given that he’d only been knocked down twice by frightened civilians trying to get away.
Now he just had to find where the Nega officers were. He hoped Ida and Tsui were faring okay in this craziness.

Roll 1, page 1 Roll 2, page 2 Roll 3, page 2 - youma dusted Roll 4, page 4 - youma dusted Roll 5, page 4 - youma dusted Roll 6, page 5 ----------------------------------------- 1 civilian rescued (Elijah) 3 youma dusted
Pompeii had a job to do so with a smile at the chibi she headed a short distance away to try to get more people towards the entrance and turn youma to dust, there was little she could do about the wild animals still running rampant. She was about to go after a youma attacking a civilian when a shadowy horse came charging at her.
The youma horse was no less then 15 hands tall, fast, and mean. Pompeii dived out of its way but didn't have a chance to make it to her feet before the demon creature wheeled on its back legs and brought its wickedly sharp hooves down by her feet. She rolled across the debris strewn floor picking up scrapes and scratches.
The suddenness of a hand plunging into her chest took Ida by surprised and for a moment all she could do was grab at the forearm protruding from her chest and hold on for dear life.
Oh, god... not like this...
When the pain of having her starseed grasped finally hit her, Ida screamed in agony and fear, adding her voice to the countless others who were struggling for their lives. As badly as she wanted to believe that the Negaverse was simply misguided, time and again they just proved to her that they were no better than the monsters they commanded.
She had to fight the panic that flooded her at this cruel violation, knowing at last how Tsui had felt when Painite had tried to rip her starseed from her chest. Attempt to kill her, or not, the Orchid senshi couldn't afford to be soft this time. She had to be strong...
Hauling back her arm, one hand still in a vice grip around the other woman's arm, Ida swung at her face and put all of her weight behind the punch.
Opal enjoyed the look of stark panic and terror in Ida's eyes and reveled in that feeling maybe a bit more than she should have. What she wanted to do she'd accomplished.
Unfortunately, in that state of panic the senshi wasn't in her best form and when she swung the Nega stepped back, her hand sliding out of the others chest without her precious prize. She suspected General Painite would have been very pleased with the starseed of a senshi.
"Are you going to leave me alone now, Senshi? Or do you really want me to finish what I started?"
The terror was what was important. She'd instilled that in her opponent now and would happily still continue on to finish the job if able and she made that known with her look. She could imagine that kind of trauma was hard to shake but she couldn't be sure. She assumed, and hoped, that by now Ida would realize how over her head she was and would let her get back to her job to pursue things she had a prayer of being effective with - like youma.
