Kesisk - Attacking Blue Wher 59/60
Hey! Hey! She was trying to run here, but this ridiculous blue wasn't cooperating - how annoying! Kesisk whipped back around to retaliate, white fangs flashing in the dark.

Fi'o - Fleeing 16/30
She couldn't hear a sharding thing, her left arm was useless, and there was debris falling on her, but little motivated the way pain did - not to mention the primal fear of being trapped underground that any sane person in this situation should be feeling - and Fi'o kept herself moving fast enough to maintain a gap between herself and pursuit.

Dinah - Fleeing 26/30
Dinsk had...stopped fighting? Dinah could feel it, and she was, quite frankly, astonished. It sort of worried her. Dinsk?
Away! she confirmed. Kesisk told.
Well, that was handy. With her wher safe, Dinah ran with renewed purpose.

Kesin - Fleeing 26/30
Kesi? Kesi, stop messing around and get out of there!
The emphatic, annoyed feeling she got in response made it clear that fleeing wasn't currently an option for her beloved wher, and she cursed even as she stumbled forward, pelted by debris from the collapsing mine. Then kill him fast, love.

Oops.
He had forgotten that fact, that killing the handler would just make the wher angry, but at least he didn't have to worry about his cover being broken. The mine falling down on his head, yes, but not his cover.
The rider grinned, glancing back and forth. He had two choices now, to run or to fight, and with the rocks falling, he wasn't sure if it would be safe to fight. He would prefer to, to take out the wher but he wasn't sure if he had the time to spare.
Perhaps he'd try to run, but if the wher went after him, he'd probably have to fight anyways.

D'lek Fleeing North ---------------------- D’lek continued wandering through the network of tunnels—oh dear. Had he missed a fork, was that the right path? The voices of his group, and ones he didn’t recognize—that must be the miners--not to mention the sound of angry whers was getting closer rather than further. D’lek exited into a main tunnel in the hopes of getting his bearings and was at first relieved to see Dinah and Kesin running further back in the tunnel. He looked around and got his bearings, they needed to get out of here-now. ---------------------- HP: 26/30 (12 bandages in possession)
Result: Close? I don't know how you go from far to close that quicly, but I'll think of something.

D'lek Fleeing North ---------------------- Now that he could see the others rounding the bend D’lek made a mad dash for the exit, it was closer than he had expected. Mokah and her wher were missing, had she headed South? D’lek couldn’t remember anymore. Not that this isn’t exciting, but we have to get out of here. His thought was followed by the realization that the ceiling in front of them was weakening, and an unhappy pair of miners was hot on their heels. ---------------------- HP: 26/30 (12 bandages in possession)
Result: Far Again? Apparently he'd gotten mixed about-perhaps he remembers a small shortcut taking him away from the miners & whers again?

Fi'o - Fleeing 16/30
Ive?
Yes, Mine? Will you be out soon? came the almost-cheerful response. While he could feel that she was hurt, she had said that she was fine, so really, there wasn't much to worry about!
No idea, but you know how I told you to be quiet? I changed my mind. Talk to me. Not being able to hear was extremely disconcerting, but maybe listening to her dragon would offset it. It was better than silence, certainly.
Okay! About what?
I don't care. Just talk. Then a wave of dizziness overcame her, and she stumbled, losing a significant amount of distance in the process.

Dinah - Fleeing 26/30
With Dinsk safe, Dinah could now worry about more pressing matters, like the mine that was going to cave in on them if they didn't move fast enough. It would be a really awful way to die, not to mention far too soon for her! And not nearly awesome enough. If she went, it was at least going to be fighting, not squashed or suffocated.

First die: Mokah. Second die: Mokask.
Mokah: 26/30 HP 9 bandages
Mokask: 56/60 HP
The pair pressed on, moving almost at random through the tunnels. Mokah only had a general idea of where the exit was, having not bothered to try and memorize the map, and she had to trust that her sense of direction was accurate. Mokask had even less idea where they were going, she was just following her handler. When the pair came to a junction of many tunnels, Mokah paused briefly, not sure which would be best. Mokask, on the other hand, thought she smelled fresh air blowing in from one of the tunnels. Come! she told her handler, bounding down the tunnel, leaving Mokah to scramble after her.

Kesin - Fleeing 26/30
What a stupid, awful sharding night this had turned out to be! Why had she signed up for this again? She could have been sleeping safely in her bed, but no, she'd had to sneak into a mine, leave her wher to fight another, and try to escape a cave-in. Kesin looked back as she ran, gauging the distance between herself and the rest of the group...and their pursuers.
She was so not going to get caught! Not if she could help it!

The group running to the north exit was in sight of the exit now, a lone torch burning at a dark hole in the rock. Water sluiced down the cracks of the vein they ran through, the barks and calls of their pursuit dogging them. The earth shuddered again and the rock above the front of the group shifted, keened as its structures were torn from ancient roots to tumble into the tunnel below. The cloud of dust was choking, the wall before them seemingly impassible and with no other branches leading away they were trapped with their enemy.
V’ell and D’ei had been unfortunate as a wooden beam had fallen across them, lodging in the rubble and pinning them. Cuts and gashes adorned their bodies now and splinters threatened to stab them if they struggled against the rock and wood pinning them. Behind, Rill and Risk, Fi’o, Dinah, and Kesin were left to fend off the wher and humans. One wher had had its skull crushed in the second cave in and lay motionless further back as the two humans and a green wher brandished pickaxes or teeth.
For Mokah and Mokask, the tunnels seemed never ending winding labyrinths. It was no straight shot to the exit and the enemy was at their back. Three whers and two humans were trying to force them into a dead end and the glint of metallic hide behind meant they were matched in power - it would be no easy escape. They came to a cross roads – three choices, left right or straight – to dodge their enemy.
As Kessisk and the blue fought, E’lov escaped. The green wher’s charge went wide as he ran and in the time it took for her to turn about the rider had already ducked into the night and hidden. Her sensitive vision and sense of smell gave her nothing useful as she paced, looking for him – the scent was everywhere. InstructionsNorth Group: You’re nearly out but you’re facing three very angry individuals! V’ell and D’ei, you are pinned – take 2 damage and you must wait for 3 other posts to be made before you can escape and join the fight. Additionally, everyone take 2 damage from tunnel collapse. Creature - HP - Damage - Dodge Green Wher - 35 - 1d6 - 1d8 Blue Wher - 40 - 1d6 - 1d6 Brown Wher - 45 - 1d8 - 1d6 Bronze Wher - 50 - 1d8 - 1d4 Gold Wher - 60 - 1d6 - 1d4 Human - 30 - 1d4 - 1d10 Opponent Green Wher – 29 HP Opponent Human 1 – 24 HP Opponent Human 2 – 24 HP -Each character gets 1 action per turn (attack, dodge, use item, or re-arm) -Humans' damage can be augmented by weapons. To arm themselves, a human must roll 1d20 (1-11: Makeshift [+1]; 12-17: Blunt [+2]; 18-20: Bladed [+3]) -Humans can re-arm once every 3 turns but it costs an action. -At beginning of scenario, every human rolls 2d6+2; this is the numebr of bandages they have for recovery. No more will be added over the course of the scenario, HP totals roll over through encounter. -Bandages heal 3hp and require 1 action Kessisk: Continue to fight. You have 2 more posts until you can attempt to run once more. E’lov: You’ve successfully escaped but have made an enemy – that wher will remember your scent. Mokah/Mokask: You have 3 choices, only one of which leads out. The other two result in your characters being overwhelmed and captured. Each tunnel is equally dark, dank, and air circulation. Choose wisely.

The Blue Wher howled its pain as Kessisk delivered a nasty blow and sent the blue reeling. This incensed it further and it redoubled its attack. HP: 25/40
=============================================== Dice Two: Green Wher versus North Group
The green snarled as it stalked the group, head low and shoulders hunched to make it look bigger. Finally, its eyes flashed and it leaped, talons extended to take a swipe at Dinah.

Die 1: Human 1 versus North Group
The lead Miner advanced on them, his gaze cold and hard, only the pain of something lost and the dull realization he would die down here visible in his expression. Grim, set, and determined he raised his pick axe and swung at Kesin.
Damage: 2 + 2 (blunt weapon) = 4 HP: 24/30
============================================
Die 2: Human 2 versus North Group
The second man, whose partner still lived, seemed more angry then logical as he charged ahead of his companion to take a swing at Risk,
Damage: 3 + 2 (blunt weapon) = 5 HP: 24/30
