Saren Tyndall TheDarkmasterchumble Magic is fickle, atleast for earthlings. There are several forms of it, but you may be referring to Alchemy equivelent exchange, Alchemy is a science not a magic. Some magics are a lot more dangerous then others it all depends on what kind of magic you are using. some are tied to your life, meaning if you cast it you die, some are tethered to your soul meaning eventually you will cease to exist even in the afterlife, some are bound as pacts to demons/angels/other various creaturs, there are some magics that allow healing some that allow attacking some sealing and unsealing, ancient magic bound and sealed in swords/shields/helmets/other objects and can be unlocked with various incantations or natural abilities, some. Some magics require a medium to be channeled through meaning wands/charms/staffs/things to that nature it's all really dependent on what kind of magic you are using. the most basic of magics are usually tethered to the body's own natural force so basically our own energy within our bodies that's why we tend to become exhausted from over use of it.

STOP IT it says OOC for a reason y'know Out Of Character. though i must give you props for holding up the character quite well and actually causing me to slip into one of the various character's that tend to take over while online. :trollface: One of the things people have to remember (especially new guys) is that nothing I do on Gaia is Out-Of-Character. Even when posting in the general forums, I'm in character. Sometimes with amusing results. you do realize you had to slip out of character to tell me that you don't do out of character
