"Be careful." As the dust of the previous attack got blown away by the strong seafaring winds, Kyuzo felt the numerous stings all over his body. He'd dashed in front of Saiga the moment the attack came, but even his full guard hadn't been enough to protect the girl from the blast's full might. His body had taken a pounding in no time, with a large gash above his eyes and tears all throughout his clothing showing where smaller wounds had reached underneath. One particularly large gash had ripped straight through his jacket, over the shoulder and down the back, completely dismantling the left sleeve in no time. Kyuzo might be a powerful fighter, but guarding wasn't his strong point; in fact, it was his very worst. Only a few big hits like that were necessary to put him out, and he knew better than to let himself take a shot like that...most of the time. But fighting alongside a companion was a new experience, and he hadn't realized this girl was empowered until it was too late. So that eccentric looking guy was a demon, hm?

"Ah. Are you alright?" Kyuzo glanced over his should to see his companions(?) relatively unharmed, at least compared to him, but he became a little shocked when the two suddenly turned red along with the world around them. 'Ah...' Kyuzo raised a hand and wiped the blood from his brow, realizing the blow was more serious than he originally thought. The pain began to lift however as the red-haired (Pink?) girl cast a spell, and his body felt light as ever again. "Please be careful. There is still an innocent in the way. And the girl...hopefully we can still help her." Demons brought out the worst in people. And where others saw irredeemable monsters who wielded their power, Kyuzo saw victims who had been lured in by the temptation. You couldn't simply eliminate anyone who used their power wrongly...if you did, the bodies would start piling up too high to count. He came from a town plagued with similar issues, and his hope was to cure the people of their sickness, not put them out of their misery.

"Miss, I'm going to eliminate that demon now. Please stay out of the way." Kyuzo pressed the demon app on his phone again, and another creature appeared with a flap of mighty wings. Many people had heard of Garuda, the king of avions...but this was Ziz, a beast who put it to shame. It was told that in the end of days, the Leviathan would ravage the seas, the Behemoth would ground the earth beneath his feet...and the enormous Ziz, who's wingspan dwarfed the earth, would annihilate everything with a single flap of it's wings. And the hurricanes of the Garuda paled in comparison to that. "Ziz. Wu Kong. Make sure not to hit the young girl, or the man near her feet. Our target is the demon..." Kyuzo held his two blades in front of him, and a red energy began to run along the uchigatanas as Kyuzo prepared the strength of his Battle App. On either side of him, the great Monkey King and the mighty storm bird prepared their own assaults, staff and wings glowing an incandescent blue and green. Suddenly the three disappeared, after images filling the beach in between the App Users and their target as a flurry of strikes the likes of which few could ever hope to follow were unleashed, with the singular purpose of dealing with the rampant demon.

It was his fault people had been drawn in to this mess...and he would have to pay the price for allowing the situation to escalate to this degree.

"Stop it!" This time when the girl stepped on the innocent Kyuzo wasn't nearly as passive as the first. A man who'd seemed generally stoic so far now let out a harsh, angry shout as he commanded the girl to leave him be. There was a difference between acting against one who could defend himself, and an opponent who was already defeated. Whatever reason she had to stand over the unconscious man, he at least deserved the respected leveled at another human being, didn't he? "Is it what's twisted your heart? Ziz! Wu Kong!" Kyuzo turned the attention of his demons towards the bunny again, noting the damage that immediately started to rack up. His two demons instantly repeated their previous attacks, ignoring the taunts of the girl behind the monster. If it wasn't negating his attacks completely, it wasn't going to survive; if he failed to defeat the enemy with his attack, then he'd just have to do it again! Harder! Until he'd perfected his technique to the point nothing could stop his blade from slicing through! That was what it meant when he took that oath, and began learning sword fighting. What he'd started as a means of self defense, and as a means of reflection, had molded him into much more than the person he use to be...and it had evolved to mean a hell of a lot more than that!

It was unclear if Kyuzo even noticed the immense damage he kept sustaining as the girl returned fire, do in no small part to the healing that his teammates continued to support him with, no doubt. But even if he did feel the earth thrown his way bruising his body, he made no signs of it...not even flinching as his temper now appeared, and he lashed out at the girl. "Hurting people is wrong!" With that simple, blunt statement Kyuzo raised his hand and snapped his fingers. The gravity around the girl suddenly shifted, twisting into reverse to rip the girl away from her shnookums and up into the air. The other two were unleashing attacks ignorant of the young man's pain, but Kyuzo had been stepped on with heels before and could tell you that they were no joke. Just don't ask the why, or the how, and know that if he could he would avoid ever having to go through that again...but being a total pushover, that was probably not going to happen.

]color=royalblue]Saiga braced herself as the girl went upward and snapped at the summoner boy with her, prompting her to snicker a bit.
Before she could defend him, she saw the demon slumping, but preparing something. Saiga held up her hand, and braced herself.
"Everyone, that demon's up to something." she started, bracing herself for an attack...before she gestured forth. "Pure Soul Dragon, Show them...The light."
Wow..did I really just say that? I must be getting tired. she thought, as her Demon sent out a swell of light, aiming to crash into the descending girl, and the demon that was preparing an attack... Even if it would fall, Saiga would likely manage to survive...and if it came to the worst...She would just have to use...

There were plenty of reasons having good reflexes was essential to being a fighter, and if it were based only on that, Kyuzo would have been unstoppable. The Black Viper ripped through the sand, but by the time it passed through where Kyuzo had been, the fighter was closing in on the Demon she'd summoned again, unharmed. "...if you like someone, you should convey your feelings properly! Like with a letter, or confession!" Y-yes? Even as he shouted it his demons reeled backwards, letting out a screech and a cackle as the monkey and the divine bird readied themselves again. The fact was Kyuzo eerily resembled the man to whom everything looked like a nail, and it was time for he and his hammers to send this Demon home...demons! D-demons, not hammers. "I'm not sure he feels the same way about you!" A flurry of blades stormed towards the Demon, heedless of "maybes" and "could be" attacks. Kyuzo was no good at defending, but if he could put the monster down before it attacked then there was a chance for victory. If he failed, his teammates could carry on over the spot where he fell...but he'd make sure to put forth one hundred percent effort until things were resolved. For this passionate, broken-hearted girl!
