Takeo faced the strangely dressed man, on the defensive. "Sorry, my brother got the brains between us. I'm a little slower than he is when it comes to riddles." This man didn't look to like an Uchiha, but looks could be deceiving and Takeo had been cautious the minute he'd entered this forest, he wasn't stopping now. He was ready to toast this guy if he so much as flinched the wrong way.
"I, along with the other two that came here with me, were ordered to investigate this forest. We were doing as such when it decided not to let us leave."

 "I don't remember ever not letting you leave little cub" The man said pointing the staff he had at him. "Did you ever TRY to leave? No, you simply assumed you were being kept from leaving. Don't pass your small minded assumptions onto others"As he remained there with the staff pointed at the boy he continued to speak. "You assume, and assume, and assume; just like you did with the bear; you ASSUMED it was a threat, so you did nothing to help it; despite the fact that it had done nothing wrong" As he said that the man brought the staff back up and slammed the bottom of it back into the ground at his feet. "As for investigating, what are you looking for? Or are you just going to assume that you will know it when you see it?"

Mitsuko quickly backed off as the bear appeared. Great, good thing we didn't take it out of play when we had the chance. She thought to herself. She took a moment to think, and remembered back to what she had said, then nodded. "Because the bear naturally has the massive upper hand on me. But to be fair, my first presented option to the group, as i'm sure you're aware, was to lead him away instead of killing him off the hop." She stopped twirling the kunai now, adopting a more serious position. "If you care for the Bear's life, why send it upon me. I'm by far the most reckless of our group." She smirked before finishing. "And I don't have anything to lose from death."

Takeo cocked his head in confusion. This guy seemed awfully annoyed about his reasoning. "If you want to be specific, I'm looking for the source of the reason this forest appeared in our territory overnight. Seeing how your entire forest glows like a fire, someone must have given it energy to grow. I'm simply curious why."
He stood up straight, relaxing his shoulders to calm himself. He could feel his anger beginning to rise towards this man. Who was he to question him? "As for the bear, I simply chose the safer option. When a beast is trapped like that, it struggles against everything, and that includes help."

She knew her guilt was correct. She must stand her ground though. Locking eyes with the bear again, she spoke clearly. "This bear is at least double, if not triple, my own size. Even with my teammates assistance, the bear could have gotten injured, or we ourselves, in the process to freedom. It was safer for both parties to remain separate and go about our way." Naomi explained. With a smirk growing on her face she crossed her arms as she continued. "Besides, the bear seems to be perfectly fine." With a confident tone about her and her eyes closed off from all emotion, she thought to herself. 'Looks to me the bear was a ploy. If this voice is controlling the forest, then this voice was controlling the vines that were around the bear.' "Because young Pup; you are nothing more than just that; a pup; and without a pack leader you are hardly a threat to my friend here" As that was said the bear started towards the girl, teeth still showing. "And if you have nothing left to lose; you could say that at least by meeting death here you will at least have some purpose; giving a creature of the wild a nice little snack"It was a moment before the voice spoke again. "Also isn't one of your job's be to keep your team safe?""You could hardly Say it was over night. It took meat least.... half a day to create all this" The man said still looking at the boy with a quizzical look. "And in all honesty I should have made it bigger, after all there is always a bigger fish; an who are you to say you own this land, if anything seeing as how I'm in control, and your petty wars make it so that whoever is in control seems to have ownership; shouldn't I own it?" As the man said this he turned and started to walk back towards the tree line. "I'm through with you little cub, you should leave now""Also about the bear, safe isn't always what is the right thing to do, that was a test and your little group didn't fare too well"As The girl spoke a man (the same from Takeo's replies) appeared in front of the girl, leaning towards her looking her over for a moment with a puzzled look. "So You gave up and left it for dead because you MIGHT have hurt you? That makes no sense what so ever" The man said still looking at the girl. "Without the knowledge I liked the bear, most people would follow through and notice the fact that it was being strangled by those vines"As the man spoke the massive bear started slowly towards Naomi, stopping roughly ten feet from her; though with its size that was within the bears reach. "Ohh and don't even think about attacking, remember you did not come here alone, there actions may affect you and vice-versa.... though out of you three blind mice; you seem the most.... interesting;even though you did nothing; you still had pity for the Bear. Despite the fact your clan is known to be cold blooded killers"As He said that the man leaned back and used the staff in his hand as a balancing point for him to lean against. "Why is that?"

Mitsuko tightened the grip on her Kunai as the bear approached, but loosened it for a moment, taking a second to think. "Sure, teamwork keeps us safe, but that isn't all. We're each a member of the Uchiha clan, we're all Pack Leaders. Like it or not." She looked the bear dead on now, taking a step forward. She glared back at it with confidence. She wasn't backing away anymore. "If i'm a pup, then you're the runt of the litter, hiding behind this bear because you can't come out to talk to me face to face. So i'll happily accept being a pup, a pack leader in the making." She clenched the Kunai tight now, pointing it towards the bear. "Someone who will lead the way to peace!"

"WHOA WHOA WHOA" The Voice suddenly blurted out before the bear exploded into a large plum of smoke, leaving a man standing where the beast had been moments before. "Animal Analogy's are my thing, Pup"As he stood there the man pointed the Spear like staff in his hand towards the girl. "And you saying you will lead the way to peace if entertaining, The Uchiha clan is a Cancer, Just like the Senju. If something were to happen that wiped both of you clean off the face of this earth; you know what would happen?" The man paused giving the girl a few seconds to think. "Most the conflicts would end; You fight to call yourselves the strongest, but force those weaker to do what you want them too""So how can you honestly speak of peace, when you do nothing to those who need help simply because they MIGHT hurt you. A pack can only have one true leader, until one is chosen among all; there will always be fighting" As he said that the man slammed the bottom of the spear into the ground. "When pack meets with pack in the jungle, and neither will go from the trail,
Lie down till the leaders have spoken; it may be fair words shall prevail"

Although the bear transformation was a surprise to her, Mitsuko looked the man dead in the eye. She gritted her teeth at the man, talking down to her clan was angering, yet she couldn't deny that the Senju and Uchiha caused useless fighting. She looked at him for a moment though, and something ran through her head. Her face softened, and she relaxed her body.
The kunai was quickly placed back into it's pouch, and Mitsuko smiled. "A pack leader needs to be able to make choices that will benefit the whole, and needs to do things other people can't. Needed precautions are unavoidable in this world, and it's simply the way of nature for things to die. Just like someday I will die, and so will you."
She crossed her arms now, looking the man over. "The bear would not have been in the position it was in had you not interfered with it's life. Therefor, please do not hate me, or my comrades, for something you set up of your own will." She lowered her head for a moment, taking a deep breath and running her hands through her hair, allowing her words to reach the man with luck.
Finally, bringing her head up now with a smile, she pointed to the man. "If we need a common leader, then I'LL take that responsibility, if I can't, then I will find the person who CAN. I will find a way to unite all of the opposing clans, a peaceful means to live in harmony."

"Iiiiiiiinteresting" Was the first thing that left the mans lips after listening to the girl speak, the man flipping backwards as he did so; a massive root lifting up out of the ground and forming as a chair as it lifted up. "So are your current leaders suited to lead?" He asked looking at the girl as he sat in the chair that had formed under him. "As for death, there is always a way around it, and not everything will die; there is an immortal inside this very forest who will continue to life long past your clan and the Senju are gone" He said grinning ear to ear; wolf life teeth showing. "And YOU? What makes you think you have the ability's to do what is needed; you couldn't even get your team to do what was right a few hours ago; and don't even argue about the semantics of me putting the bears life in danger due to the fact that it was me"

Mitsuko shook her head. "Nuh uh, you don't get anything until I know my friends are safe and sound." She crossed her legs and sat on the ground, pulling out her kunai and spinning it around on her finger as she does. "You wanna talk, you talk to all three of us, same location. I'll make sure they don't attack you, and neither will I." She lowered her head now, waiting for the man's response. She knew what she was set on, and combat wasn't the way to make her point right now.

The man raised an eyebrow as the girl spoke, did she really thing that she was in the position to make demands? In honesty once he was finished talking to the other two he was going to have them all meet up again; but now he was going to draw it out a bit. "I can wait" He said simply keeping the toothy Grin pointed towards the girl. "I'm still busy with those two, the girls interesting but the boy... he's got a head harder than a mountain goat"

Mitsuko smirked. "Sounds like him alright." She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "Alright, dropping the stupid tough-girl routine then. No, I don't find our current leaders fit for leading if they'll keep fighting the way they do. But that isn't to say they're bad I guess. They look out for their family, which is understandable" She looked down for a moment, thinking as she did. She hadn't gotten too far before coming to that question, what did make her think she'd be able to lead. "As for my ability to do what's needed...I guess that's why I train. Takeo is hard headed, but he means well. I just wasn't in a position to argue with them, both hold more authority than I do at this point." She brought her head up once more with a smile though, continuing.
"Guess i'll just have to work harder at getting my message across. Else, i'd do it myself if I could."

The man was right. She was a lot more different from her clan than she would like to put off. It wasn't how she was raised, it's just how she turned out. A girl with ice for eyes and a monotonous voice, but has a deep sense of empathy and compassion. She sighed and a humorless smile graced her lips. "Cold blooded killers. Yes, I've heard that description before." She was mumbling slightly and her voice was a bit quiet. Naomi looked up to the man when he asked her to explain herself. "I guess I'm different from most people in my clan." She chuckled. "Why kill or wound when it is unneeded?" Takeo nodded. Now he knew the source of the forest. This man had done it. But why? And why was he so interested in their group?
"Will you allow us to leave your forest then? Me and my friends? Our job is done here now. We weren't sent to start anything and I happen to respect those with abilities above me."
Takeo wasn't really interested in this man's "test". The bear wasn't their problem, why should they have helped it? This man seemed to be of the idea that they were going to help something just for the sake of helping another. Takeo wasn't for that, at least not to someone he didn't know. His family, he would help. His clan, he would help. People like Serene, who wasn't part of those other two but still important to him anyway, he would help. A random bear that he just happened to come along that was struggling though? What was the point in helping it? It had no ties to him and it was an animal in the middle of a foreign area! He could think of a number of things that the situation could have become, most of them, a negative.
"I do have one question. What's your angle for testing us? Obviously you aren't Uchiha, but you don't seem too interested in killing us off either like an enemy of ours would."
