Wincing as the morning light connected with her eyes, Muse clenched them closed again and attempted to roll over, only to be obstructed by Roy's body. Considering the splitting hangover she was now sporting she didn't think much of it and simply rolled the other way, pulled the fur blanket over her head as she went.

Roy was the first to wake, and slowly sat up. Noticing he was naked and in bed with Muse he panicked a bit. Climbing out of the bed he put on his clothing and went off to a nearby lake to take a bath. He still couldn't believe that they...no. Everything would be fine, it was only one time. Muse probably would have no memory of it.

Despite her skull smashing headache and the blinding sunlight, Muse crawled naked from the pile of furs as she fought the need to barf. While she was unable to get very far, she somehow managed to haul herself over the teepee's small brazier where she released her stomach contents, or lack there of, into the smoldering ashes. Groaning to herself, she flopped back onto the floor where she tried to continue sleeping, in hopes that her hangover would be gone when she awoke in another couple of hours.

Roy had returned to the smell of barf. With a sigh he began to clean up where she threw up, then began to start the chores he was given every day. One being feeding Muse, or well preparing her breakfast. He knew what she liked and what she wanted every morning so Roy was now focusing on that. Lucky for the woman he was skilled at cooking, since the skill had helped him survive some of the harshest climates he had to deal with in the past years. That life was over though, sure he missed it sometimes. Roy missed commanding men and charging into battle, protecting his fort from attacks. He missed how that felt, it was still hard for him to accept being a slave. The Minotaur actually weren't that bad of a people, now having living with them for a while, they were just...barbarically simple. Too bad they didn't like Humans much, the Minotaur would make a great ally in battle because of their brute power and strength. Muse was no acception just because she was a woman. He had respect for her after all, she was just as powerful and skilled as the men of her tribe. No wonder she was well respected for more than just being the Chieftan's daughter.

It was almost an hour past noon before Muse stirred again, and while her head still hurt she had regained most her motor functions and was able to walk without falling over. Despite the late hour, the smell of the breakfast Roy had prepared hours before still lingered in the air and Muse followed it like a bloodhound with a scent, uncaring about her lack of clothing as her stomach growled loudly. Shuffling into the cooking area of her tepee, Muse wasted no time in planting herself atop on the room's stools and quickly began shoveling the plate full of cold eggs and bacon down her hungry gullet.

"You're finally up I see. Muse you gave me a worry when you stumbled into the tent all sauced to the gills last night. What happened?" he asked walking over to her side trying hard not to stare at her. Hopefully she wouldn't remember seducing him and making love to him. Roy wouldn't know what to think if that was on purpose. After all the Minotaur never seemed interested in him.

"Don't want to talk about it..." Muse muttered before continuing to stuff her face with food. "All you need know is to steer clear of my father for a day or so..." Bleching loudly as she cleared her plate, Muse happily patted her fuzzy but bare belly. "But on a lighter side of things, that was the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Is there any more?" She asked, licking her lips in anticipation as she held out her plate for more.

Roy gave a nod, refilling her plate. He had been living with Muse for a while now and had picked up on how big of an eater she was. The young Human always made sure to cook as much as she would eat. Yet what she said kind of concerned him a little. "Your father and the other hunters haven't come back yet. While I was out gathering some of the spices for cooking breakfast I was told they wouldn't be back for a couple days. Something about raiding a nearby Goblin Camp or something." he causually conversed as he filled her plate, handing it to the hungry Minotaur.

"b*****d didn't even offer to take me along..." Muse muttered, violently stabbing her fork into the wooden table, the metal slowly distorting as she continued to apply pressure to it. Realizing what she was doing, Muse released the crippled fork from her grasp and attempted to continue eating her now full plate. "He's probably blowing off some steam as well..." She added.

"I'm sorry you couldn't tag along, but you're his daughter. Someone has to stay here and protect your people." Roy sighed crossing his arms. "What if the camp was raided with you both away? What if your family and friends were killed? Would you still enjoy the glory of raiding a few Goblins over the course of the whole tribe?" Shaking his head he blushed shyly. "Sorry, it's your life and I have no buisness to butt into it. I just care about you that's all, I hate seeing you all depressed like this. What happened to the Muse that managed to beat me and my men that day a few months ago? You'll get another chance, just have some patience alright?" he smiled giving her a nod of respect.

"What race, besides goblin, is stupid enough to attack a minotaur tribe? I mean yes, we're not a full strength with my father and his troops out but we still have plenty of guards but nobody would know that unless they saw them leave or if we have a spy..." Muse answers before stuffing a flat-cake soaked in syrup into her mouth. Shallowing her food, she picked up where Roy left off. "Ah but you are part of my life now, whether you remember last night or not." Although she didn't remember a great deal of it either, she was able to tell something happened between them. To reinforce this, she gestures with her crippled fork to the marks left on Roy's wrists by her fun-time handcuffs. "I've been in this situation before and have come to recognize those markings..."

"I remember it.." he stated flatly looking away shyly. "You must have been more drunk than I was..s-so I remember it. I just kind of didn't want to bring anything up because I wasn't sure what you were going to say." Fidgeting out of nervousness he turns his gaze towards her. The Human hadn't realized but yes he was a part of her life now, just as much as she was apart of his. "..so are you. You're a part of my life now Muse.I-I just kind of don't know what to think. I mean...you..me...would it even work? T-That is to say even if we have feelings for each other! Uhh..give me a minute.." he said his face beet red with a blush. Roy had no clue what he was saying anymore, had he started to fall for her? No that would be impossible! Muse obviously didn't feel the same way about him! Right?

Muse casually shrugs as she stuffs another flatcake in her mouth and swallows it. "I had more than my fair share of that dwarven ale, so I'm not surprised at my lack of memory but that stuff was good, wasn't it?" Muse chuckled lightly at obvious Roy's embarrassment. "I don't see why it wouldn't work, after all you've seen the evidence yourself. Remember that soldier of yours a couple of weeks back? Besides my father has been on my case to find a mate and give him a grandchild recently."

"Yeah it wasn't bad. Half the time you wonder what Dwarves put in their ales to make it taste so good." he casually replies. A bit surprised at her statement Roy had forgotten all about that. Walking over he took a seat next to her. "Well, I have to say you're a very passionate lover." he mused looking up at her. "Oh he has, has he? Well what are your thoughts about having a child?" he asked relaxing on the table a bit.

"Sad but true. And unfortunately there is no way of separating a dwarf from its secrets, I've tried." Muse states with a smile. "And while I've been told that a few times in other situations, it seems I'm at my best when I'm wasted." Pausing for another fork full of pancake, Muse considered Roy's question for a few moments. "I never really saw myself as the motherly type, but with my brothers and mother dead it sorta falls on me to carry on the family name."
