Lunamon and Sandra sighed, "So that means I can't digivolve to my ultimate yet." Lunamon said a little heart broken. Bearmon winced before patting his friend's back, "It's ok Lunamon, you'll digivolve soon and once we find the obsessed group Sandra will be able to get you to your ultimate form." He said to comfort her. Sandra took out her digivice to see if it could elp track down her crests. She smiled when both appeared on screen. "Well guys let's go. We don't have a lot of time. And I want to help out Shadow.""Thanks Liollmon." Christa said as she started to follow it.Evelyn smiled brighter as she felt him take her hand. She and her digimon started to follow Hagurumon.

BlackGuilmon nodded, following after Sandra. After quite a bit of walking, they reached what looked like quite the friendly little village - it even had an amusement park with rides and everything - except...
"I am noticing a distinct lack of any Digimon here - including Monzaemon," BlackGuilmon noted. "Any idea why that is?" Then he paused as he sniffed the air, only to pale. "Oh... well, that's not good..." His eyes snapped open as he heard a noise behind them before slowly turning to the rest of the group. "All right, from what I can tell from the scents, here is the situation: this town is apparently currently occupied by three Digimon, all high Champion-level. Judging from what I am hearing, the most dangerous of those three Digimon is right behind us. As such, when I give the word, we need to run, and we need to keep running, and no matter WHAT the Digivice says we most definitely do NOT turn around and we do NOT come back without backup, because if we do we will not stand a chance, and we will all die, and if I remember this particular Digimon-scent correctly, we will most definitely NOT come back as Digieggs. I know you probably want to know how I know all this, and I will be happy to answer any questions AFTER we are all out of here alive, IF we get out of here alive. Understand?" His voice, while deathly calm, cracked a little at the end there, betraying just how scared shitless he was at the moment... though if confronted about it, he'd probably deny it."CaNnOnBaLl! An iron sphere blasted past the lot of them, completely annihilating a nearby house and only driving BlackGuilmon's point home. "NOW! RUN LIKE A ********!" BlackGuilmon all but screeched in fear, grabbing Hyokomon, Sandra, Lunamon, and Bearmon and all but dragging them along in his mad dash to get out of there.Liollmon, meanwhile, had reached the desert surprisingly quickly - in fact, it was the same desert they'd come from - when he paused, blinked, and tilted his head. "...Do you hear a noise that sounds suspiciously like BlackGuilmon screaming like a little girl?"Leo blinked and listened, and, yes, he did hear the echo of an oddly high-pitched noise. "...Well, I think I hear something... hard to tell what, though." He shook his head. "Better focus on finding that crest, though."Liollmon nodded before grinning as they reached a rather impressive-looking village. "All right, we're here! Welcome to Leomon Village, home to most if not all Leomon, Liamon, and so on, with the village leader being SaberLeomon."Sparky's group's trip took a little longer than the others, but eventually they all managed to get to the point where they could get a good look at their destination...
"A VOLCANO?!?"
Sparky stared incredulously, noting that not only was there a volcano, but there also seemed to be a village built around said volcano.Hagurumon nodded. "Databanks indicate the official name is Meramon Village."After a few moments, Sparky finally sighed. "The Crest is in the village, right?" he asked hopefully."Scans indicate that the Crest is in the heart of the volcano, and that there is a source of ice nearby - given the fact that most of the area is extremely hot, most likely a hostile Digimon.""C'mon, don't tell me you're scared!" FanBeemon challenged with a grin, trying to get Sparky to agree to go into the volcano. "How're you gonna impress your girlfriend here if you aren't brave."Sparky fixed the bee with a deadpan look. "Firstly, I'm not the one with the Crest of Courage - I'm allowed to be scared. Secondly, there is a difference between bravery and stupidity, and I'm going to need a bit of time to figure out which one battling a Digimon we know nothing about followed by willingly walking into a volcano falls under... even though I'll probably end up doing it anyway."

Evelyn frowned looking at Jimmy, "Um Jimmy, I don't know if you remember this but this is my crest. SO i will go down with Coronamon. But first he will have to digivolve to Champion so that the two of us can get there. It's my crest. I don't want anyone risking their lives for it." She said handing over FanBeemon and looking to Coronamon. "Ready for this?" She asked. Coronamon smirked before nodding, "You bet I am, Evelyn." He said."BlackGuilmon, I am so going to tell Shadow that you scream like a girl!" Sandra shouted as she ran with him and the others.Christa blinked in shock before saying, "ANd now it sounds like Sandra is shouting about something."

Sparky blinked, obviously not quite sure whether to feel relieved that he didn't have to go in there with her or worried that the girl he maybe-sorta-kinda had a crush on was going into a freakin' VOLCANO alone. "Oh." Then he saw something flying toward their location... and from the look of it, it was most definitely not one of the nice Digimon. "All right, you do that, me, Fanbeemon, and Hagurumon will hold off the obviously-hostile Digimon coming our way.""Believe you me, if you knew just what was chasing after us, you'd scream too!" BlackGuilmon shot back as they ran, dodging cannonballs. "As it is, we're damn lucky that it isn't smart enough to try and herd us or ambush us!" Soon they were well away from the village, and the barrage of cannonballs finally stopped, allowing BlackGuilmon to relax somewhat. "Okay... good... I think it's stopped following us..." he muttered in relief. He then turned to the others. "All right, time for answers, feel free to ask what you want, but if the question gets into personal territory, I can't guarantee I'll answer."Liollmon rolled his eyes and poked Christa. "Please try to focus, we want to make a good impression here." With that, he turned and headed toward the village, the others following.Soon they reached the village gates, only to be blocked by a Leomon. "State your names and business, please," he told them.Liollmon gave the Leomon an exasperated look. "C'mon, big bro, you know it's me, so lemme in already!"Leomon blinked before relaxing and smiling. "Well, I'll be, it is you, isn't it? What are you doing back so soon? I thought you were going to head off on some big adventure or something?"Liollmon grinned. "Still am on an adventure, just here to visit." Then he got a more serious look on his face. "We're here to ask SaberLeomon about the Crest of Determination."Leomon's eyes widened before he took a quick glance over at the two humans and nodded. "All right, follow me." With that, he turned and led the six of them deeper into the village.

Evelyn and Coronamon nodded before Evelyn's digivice lit up. "Coronamon digivolve to Firamon!" Firamon stood in Coronamon's place. Evelyn smiled to the big griffin looking thing before getting on to his back. Firamon shook his large wings before taking off. "Good luck Guys! Come along Kudamon." Kudamon took a seat behind Evelyn. The three glared at the incoming digimon. Evelyn didn't want Jimmy to fight it alone but they were here for the crest and once they had it they could leave. Firamon didn't want to just pass by the not so nice digimon so he fired off one of his attacks. "Fira Bomb." He shouted launching his fireball at the digimon before quickly flying to the volcano.Christa stuck her tongue out at Liollmon before looking around in amazement at the village. She blinked at how tall Leomon was. "So is SaberLeomon ok with humans going in to your village? And is it ok to just let us in to your village without asking our names?" Christa asked cause any military would be horrified just letting in unknown bodies going in to their country.Sandra crossed her arms before saying, "We need to get back there and find the crest. If I can get Lunamon and Bearmon to digivolve we will have a small chance. But with the crest, Bearmon will be able to get to Ultimate. My main goal is to get Shadow as quickly out of the dark Ocean as possible. And to do that, i have to get the crests. And I can't help you get your crest cause 1. I'm not Shadow and 2. I can't figure out what 'The Light was hidden in the land of Darkness where the Vademon walk, and the darkness was hidden where brother turned against brother.'" She said. Lunamon and Bearmon both agreed with her.

"And I agree with you," BlackGuilmon informed her bluntly, "but I have no idea how to make Lunamon and Bearmon Digivolve, so we're heading to some friends of mine for some backup and to retrieve a last-resort plan. Trust me, you'll thank me for this." 'At least, assuming we don't have to use the last resort I mentioned...' "Now, follow me - the sooner we get backup, the sooner we can get that crest and the sooner we can go after Shadow." With that, he turned and began walking, obviously expecting the others to follow.Leomon gave her an amused look. "Humans never get into the Digital World unless there's a good reason for them being there, and Liollmon would never let you in here unless he knew he could trust you. Besides," he added, "We have about a hundred Champion-levels, several dozen Ultimate-levels, and at least five Mega-levels, all willing to fight for the village, and that's not even including the countless Rookies and In-Trainings. From the look of things, neither of you two have any Crests, which means your Digimon partners would only be able to go to Champion at the most. On top of that, the village itself has several different defenses, and we can seal all entrances to the village at a moment's notice. If you tried anything, you'd be dead in a few minutes, and that's probably being generous."Leo blinked several times at that little revelation, mouth opening and closing, before he spoke. "...You make a very good point."The Digimon, an IceDevimon, dodged and shouted "Tundra Freeze!" Two eyebeams shot from his eyes at Firamon, only to be intercepted by a Gear Stinger. "Oi, dumbass! Your fight's with me!" Fanbeemon shouted with a grin, shooting another attack off, this time at the IceDevimon itself... too bad it didn't seem to do anything but annoy the larger Digimon.

Sandra sighed before following the digimon. She just hoped this worked out for them.Christa blinked in shock before saying, "It's not just a good point but a really scary image." She said thinking about that situation.Evelyn gave a small cry as the Tundra Freeze barely missed them. Firamon roared before continuing on to the Volcano. They looked over the mouth. Evelyn took a deep breath before letting it out, "Ok Firamon, slowly take us down."

Soon BlackGuilmon stopped outside... an outhouse? He smirked and pressed a specific part of the outhouse door, causing a small speaker to come up. "Voice and password recognition required."White Knight took Black Knight, but the Black Knight has a spare" was all BlackGuilmon said."Voice and password recognized. Welcome back, BlackGuilmon."With that, the "outhouse" suddenly shifted and changed, becoming an elevator. BlackGuilmon then turned to his friends with a smirk as he pressed the down button on the elevator. "Ladies first.""And that is why I know you'll be on your best behavior." With that, Leomon stopped outside a hut and gestured for them to go in. Leo blinked as he looked around curiously. The hut was surprisingly spartan, having few decorations. Hell, about the only fancy one Leo could see was the rather large rug in the middle of the room - oh, wait, no... that wasn't a rug, that was a sleeping SaberLeomon..."You dare stand against me?!? Tundra Freeze!" Another pair of freezing eye beams, once again blocked by another attack from FanBeemon... only for the bee to get blindsided by a claw attack. Hagurumon immediately leapt into the fray, calling on power he didn't even know he had as he rushed IceDevimon.
"Hagurumon, digivolve to... GUARDROMON! Guardian Barrage!"
Cue the newly digivolved Guardromon revealing dozens of missile launchers hidden in its armor and firing, causing a shitload of missiles to fire - all headed straight for IceDevimon. Unfortunately, the icy Digimon managed to dodge most of them, though Guardromon did manage to injure its wrists pretty badly - it wouldn't be doing any claw attacks anytime soon.

Firamon flew them in slowly before a large cloud of smoke blew out causing Evelyn to fall off her digimon's back. "Evelyn!" Firamon roared out as Evelyn screamed down. She gasped seeing a glow. A light shot at her. A medallion wraping around her neck like Sandra's and the crest of Honor appeared in one of the slots. "H-help me Firamon!" She shouted scared. The crest lit up and Firamon glowed. "Firamon digivolve to.......... Flaremon!" The lion beast digimon floated down to his tamer and grabbed her. He held her and Kudamon in his paws before placing them in his long mane like hair. He then used the walls of the volcano to hop his way out. Smirking he stood at the top of the peak seeing IceDevimon attacking their friends. "PURIFYING HOWL!" He shouted his attack before sending his powerful attack down at IceDevimon. He started to make his way to the fight.Christa couldn't help herself when seeing that. She walked over to the sleeping SaberLemon and started to pet him. She scratched him behind his ears and she seat next to him. "He looks so cute just sleeping like this." She said to the others. Both Dorumon and Ryudamon looked horrifed.Sandra gave BlackGuilmon a blank stare. "Where does that take us and what the hell is this?" She asked as Lunamon and Bearmon pushed her in.

BlackGuilmon just gave Sandra a cheeky little grin as he joined them in the elevator, Hyokomon walking in behind him. "Shush. Most if not all of your questions will be answered once we reach our destination." With that, he turned to a single button on the elevator wall and pressed it... right before the elevator plummeted downward with surprising speed. After a few minutes, though, the elevator halted, and the doors opened, revealing an underground village, filled with all sorts of Virus Digimon... though most of them were Black-variety Digimon. "Welcome, ladies and teddy bear, to Black Village - land of the Black Digimon. Stick with me, and nobody should give you any trouble."Leo and Commandramon were similarly staring, and Liollmon had outright fainted from shock.It was at that point SaberLeomon began purring. "Oh yeah, that's the spot," he purred in a heavy Scottish brogue as he slowly awoke. (Before you ask: I have no idea why I gave this particular SaberLeomon a Scottish accent... it just struck me as the sort of Digimon that would have one. xd )The IceDevimon quickly dodged the attack, if only barely. It hissed in frustration, but realized it couldn't stand up against both a Champion-level and an Ultimate-level. As such, it whipped up a small blizzard around itself, and by the time the mini-blizzard had vanished, the IceDevimon was gone. Jimmy sighed in relief before turning to Evelyn with concern. "Are you all right?"

"Are you kidding?! Flaremon's fur is so soft." Evelyn shouted from the top of Flaremon. Flaremon then digivolved right back in to Sunmon. Sunmon sighed before cheering up as Evelyn picked him up.
"You were so amazing and strong." She said to him kissing his cheek. Sunmon blushed and looked to kudamon. Kudamon gave him a thumbs up. "Thanks for the help, Jimmy." She said smiling to him.Dorumon fainted as Ryudamon slumped in shock. Christa giggled, "You're not such a tough guy. All you need is a nice belly rub." She said as she had the large digimon purring. She had him on his back as she scratched his belly like she did with her pet cat.Sandra listened to BlackGuilmon as he introduced them to the Black Village. She paused when she saw an adorable site. She saw a BlackDemiVeemon and BlackMinomon playing together. She squealed before picking them up and hugging them close to her chest. "You two are so cute. I could just hug you all day long." She said rubbing her cheek on their heads. (I have always thought Minomon and DemiVeemon were cute.That's just the inner girl in me thinking that they would make good chibi plushies.)

(Hmm... are you an Imperialdramon fan, then? XD) BlackGuilmon just watched with more than a little amusement for a few moments before he searched through the crowd, soon finding what he was looking for. He casually walked over to a black KnightChessmon, leaning against the wall nonchalantly. "KnightChessmon," BlackGuilmon greeted him quietly. "I'll get right down to business: there's something in a nearby village me and some friends of mine need. Problem is, that village has DexDorugamon guarding it. We need backup, and I need that key that I asked you to hold onto for me."The KnightChessmon glanced over quickly and nodded, silently slipping over a strange pendant with the symbol of the Digital hazard on it. "If I were you, I'd go to the Viral ExVeemon - he's got a bone to pick with DexDorugamon."BlackGuilmon nodded, slipping the pendant around his neck before rejoining the other three.Needless to say, it was only Leo's military training on keeping calm that kept him from joining the other Digimon in the land of the shocked-unconscious... albeit for different reasons. 'This guy leads a village?'SaberLeomon only purred louder. "Oh yeah, keep it up, that's the spot," he purred happily, obviously enjoying the attention. Jimmy was a little jealous of the attention Sunmon was getting, but calmed down and blushed slightly at Evelyn's words to him, smiling to her. "No problem, Evelyn," he answered even as Guardromon de-digivolved back into Hagurumon.

Evelyn looked at the town near the volcano. "So what do you say we stay the night in that village? Sunmon and kudamon will need to eat along with your digimon and not to mention us." She said to Jimmy.Sandra looked at BlackGuilmon, "So what's up? What do we have to do to get some help?" She asked before letting Minomon and DemiVeemon out of her arms unwillingly.Christa continued for a little bit before slowly stopping, "I'm sorry, SaberLeomon but we are here on a quest. We have to get the crest that is in this village and maybe stay the night." She said politely.

"We're looking for a fellow by the name of ExVeemon - humanoid digimon, black and white, yellow V-shape on forehead, and an X-shape on his front," BlackGuilmon gave them a quick rundown. "Mind you, if he's blue and white instead of black and white, then you've got the wrong guy."SaberLeomon sat up and nodded, all business. "Well, you lot staying the night is no issue if you're guests of Liollmon's. For the Crest, however, you'll have to be tested. Or rather," he added, "Liollmon and his human partner need to be tested.""Sounds like a plan," Jimmy agreed, smiling to her.

Christa nodded before saying, "That sounds fair, Thank you." She said standing up with a smile before kissing his forehead. She frowned seeing the fainted Leomon and one of Digimon fainted. She walked over to Leomon and scratched him behind his ear seeing if that would wake him up like SaberLeomon.Evelyn smiled before walking to the village with him. Sunmon took a nap in her arms."If he had any relative to BlackDemiVeemon, we could ask him where to look for ExVeemon." Sandra said before seeing BlackDemiVeemon still around. She picked him up, "Hey we need some help. Do you know where BlackExVeemon is?" She asked nicely.
