Sadly for them, the City guard were even weaker than the Heroes had been. Liliandil's Death Distortion annihilated them almost immediately, crushing their armor and pulping the flesh beneath. In one attack Liliandil's three opponents had been wiped off the map. Fleur raised an eyebrow in surprise at the ease in which the City Guard was defeated. "How pathetic," she noted. She looked back as she heard Vincent. "Oh, so you made it," she said, slowly taking the tea from him and sipping on it. "It's fine really, but kindly take care of these peons. They honestly aren't worth lifting a finger over. Why they bothered sending them out is quite beyond me. Doggy, you might want to take care of yours too. Of course, if you ask really nicely I might allow Vincent to take care of yours as well." She gave a small smirk before returning to her tea.

Fleur looked at the guards Chilia had attacked in disdain. She had shredded them to pieces with one blow. "Yes...I see. Good doggie then," she replied. She looked back in time to see Vincent put her guards down, expertly bulls-eyeing them through the eyeslits of their armor. They stood motionless for a second before collapsing to the ground. Fleur looked through the ruins of the door into the city. Despite its size, it seemed to be a ghost town, though it hadn't been just minutes before. "Hmm...I wonder where they all ran off too?" Asked Fleur casually. "I suppose we'll have to drag them out by their tails. I bet if we just started destroying their dirty little houses they'd come out groveling." She finished her tea and handed it back to Vincent. "Unless you have a better idea..."





[[ugh, guys I'm so SO sorry it took me so long to get back to this. It's finals week and I'm sick, plus my creativity hit a dead-end (until now. I've figured out the plot-twists for this mission so be ready wink ) But I'm ready to get back to it]]

The smell seemed to trail off into the more crowded, urban sections of the city where most of the production took place. Fleur watched Chilia as it became obvious she saw the smell was in that direction. "Who is it?" She asked with a slight frown. Were there more city guards? Some new enemy?

Among the many smells Chilia would be able to pick up, most of them were villagers. They all seemed to have split up into groups, though their smells all seemed to fade as they reached whatever destination in the city they were heading for. There was no more smell of the city guard; though it was hard to believe there were only six. The hero's smells seemed to have gathered near the inn, probably to be healed, though they had left there several minutes ago, traveling with the group of villagers. Though their smells all ended at four different locations, there would be no way to tell why until someone went there to investigate. For a small second, Chilia would catch a wiff of something strange. And large. Though the smell vanished almost as quickly as it came. Fleur looked around, going on about what they should blow up to get the villagers to come out, completely unaware of Chilia's discoveries since she herself did not a have keen nose.
