Bullet let the thought of sending a call out seep into her mind. She took a deep breath to scent out any dangers around them. She wasn't accustom to the strange 'bad-flesh' creatures but their scent seemed to stick out. With nothing on the air she nodded to herself. "I don't want all of us to back track, maybe calling to them may help." Standing back up she rose her nose to the sky and let out a deep howl, the sound help the "Where are you?" tone to it. If all the other wolves here joined in the rest of the pack would hear it for sure.

Bullet could tell when Ember tensed up. The howl cut short as she lowered herself in a defensive stance. She glanced to Scarlett and Kuro both in different areas. She barked an order to them to all gather together. Something was coming and Bullet was clueless as to what it was. She had seen a mutated bear and this bird thing, neither something she would want to fight but the impending doom was now in the air.

Ember frowned, it was a smell that she had never smelled, before and she hated it. She couldn't smell the blood of the other wolves around her, and it scared her, but she needed to stay strong if they were to fight this thing. "Wait we can't bite it, can we?" She asked Bullet and Scarlett, "Well if we can't bite into it, maybe we can use our powers to block them off...and..." Ember looks around and see's the ravine, "Maybe we can get it to fall off the ravine, it should be deep enough that it would fall to it's death." She suggested to them.

Ember nodded to Bullet as she came up with a plan, the disgusting smell of the creatures blood over powered her nose and Ember whimpered a little, twitching her nose. She would use her powers to immobilize it as best as she could, but she wondered if it would also fight the pain like Frost did. Ember did have to admit she was a formidable opponent and she was glad to have her on their side. Suddenly she saw the beast and it had a blood lust in its eyes that made Ember scared for a minute. She saw Bullets cloud of shadows appear as it charged at them, but it just shouldered its way through them straight to Bullet knocking her over. Just as it was about to attack Bullet again Ember focused on its spine as she sent mental images of its spine contracting and bending in ways that it shouldn't.

The creature howled a non-wolf like howl of pain as its back arched to the pain it was feeling it turned its head as it struggled to overcome the feeling. It looked to Scarlett, but that wolf didn't look like it was concentrating enough. Then it turned its sick looking head in Ember's direction and stared at her with blood lust eyes as it found its target. It slowly realized that the feeling wasn't true, and it began to break through Embers mental connection as it took heavy paw steps towards her.

It took no need for her to process his words, his expression was more then enough. She sped off, her nimble frame carrying lightly over the territory they had just traveled on back towards their companions. The MIA would have to wait- Concern, and a whirlwind of potentially grim situations flooded her as she made a tentative evaluation of her status. Frost was still not entirely recovered, still weary, but not in too bad a shape for a fight she felt at least. But if by chance some altered had stumbled upon them she could only prey they held on, and remembered her warnings. Even with her experiences, she knew they were capable of impossible seeming things...and to never underestimate the Corruption's hold...

There was a scuffling sound and a ever growing snarl of utter rage emerging from the bottomless ravine, steadily growing louder by the second. A grotesque paw emerged lugging behind the huge distorted form of the beast thought gone forever to the bottom below. The front legs had somehow elongated in an impossible way, a ridge of bony spikes like a row of teeth emerging from them. It pulled itself up like a hideous, disjointed doll straight out of a horror movie, the snarling jaws far too wide and terrifying as its legs snapped back to a more normal position from how it had somehow managed to clamber back up.

It gave a slow staggering step towards them, a smoking indent in its chest giving off the rancid smell of seared fur and flesh from where Kuro's attack had dealt heavy damage. Suddenly it gave a very un-wolf like shriek that seemed to tear the very air with its volume; there was a sickening sound of bones and flesh shifting once more as long jagged spikes of yellowed bone emerged from the shoulders of its forelegs as the muscles bulged outward to accommodate them.

Still staggering slightly drunkenly for a moment, it gazed almost stupidly at its prey before the gaze refocused and narrowed. Bellowing once more it gave an unsteady charge, clearly intent on tearing them apart by its jaws or its newly shown weaponry.

Ember was frightened when it seemed to be trying to resist it's mind pain that she was sending to it. She let out a quick breath of relief when Kuro blasted it with a bolt of lightning from his mouth. But she couldn't let her composure down even when she saw it fall over the ditch. About a few seconds later her it's paws climbed itself up out of the ditch, It's not deep enough she realized. She spotted red fur next to it, but it soon disappeared in dark shadow, and she wondered if Bullet was using her shadows again. But she didn't have time to react to disable it until is smashed itself into Scarlett and Frost. She reached into it's mind again, and sent pain through it's hind leg. When it screamed in pain is when she knew it worked, but she had to keep her concentration, so she stayed on the outskirts of the others as they attacked. She wanted to disable it as best as she could so the others could attack it and eventually bring it down.

Frost tore back up the mountain, hearing the commotion of battle. She cleared the ridge just in time to see a blur of white fur being flung toward her. Unable to fully dodge, she took the blow on her shoulder, knocking her down and nearly sending her rolling back down the slope. Getting back on her feet in a flash, she didn't have time to stop to check on the Twin-Tail but rather rushed to finish off the Altered. Her dagger in jaws, still worn from their run back, she once again took up the charge into battle when a huge flash of light and crackle of energy blinded her.

The Hunter-Class C-6 seemed to gaze stupidly in surprise for a moment, a smoldering hole through its chest, before it crumpled to the ground with its limbs twitching like a spider. The energy faded from the maws of the two brothers as she observed in amazement, before shaking it off and stalking over to where it lay. There would be time to gather more intel later, for now she had a job to do.

Still holding on, a clouded eye rolled up to view her approach burning with pure unnatural hatred. The altered struggled to snarl with the lungs it didn't have anymore, a paw scratching weakly at the earth as it tried to stand to continue its mission of destruction.

Without remorse or hesitation, she buried Chain-Fang deep into the back of its head. It gave a final lurch then went still. After a long moment, she removed it quietly with the same nonchalance of someone just doing their job, wiping it clean against a patch of its fur with an air of contempt and re-sheathing it. A strange, emotionless look had come about her face as she surveyed the dead beast; like a machine or soldier who had seen one too many battles, cold and indifferent as she glanced back at her team.

Without turning to the others she seized the beast none too gently by its hind leg and with effort dragged it back over to the chasm it would no longer come from. Its body teetering on the edge, she gave a hard nudge with her snout and turned as the body thudded and crashed noisily back down to where the Altered V-47 lay somewhere at the bottom.

This was the first C-6 she had encountered in awhile, a Altered version of one of her own race. She did not meet the others gaze for a long while, presenting only her back as she gazed off into the distance, lost in past memories. Finally she turned back around, the rather blank expression not entirely gone. "...everyone...ok-ay?" It seemed like those present were not seriously injured.

Not too bad for their first scrap with a Hunter-Class, she had to say; it could've gone much much worse. Humans and Animal alike she had seen been torn to shreds in those jaws and on those spikes of bone many times before. She wondered how long it may have been tailing them and grimaced at her own lack of awareness but also thankful there had just been only one and that it had not been a Brute-Class.

These wolves had many abilities she had to be careful not to underestimate and be cautious of. They clearly wielded powers she had never known her race to have and she wondered how they had come to have them. Were they also some by product of human tinkering, or was it something else entirely? The blooded one, the brothers, the Red-Fur-

Speaking of Red-Fur. Frostridge was suddenly aware of the red-brown blood staining her jaws and a fresh wave of genuine worry surprised her and breaking her blank facade as she quickly tottered over. "Water, you, go! Bad-blood. Bad!" She had to get that stuff out of her mouth- who knew how much she had swallowed? If Red-Fur had ingested too much, she could go anywhere from feeling very sick and dizzy, to Altering, to start having very severe hallucinations any second now, ranging from making her very aggressive to downright terrified, but in all cases rendering the world and teammates around her unrecognizable. Frost could vouch for that, she had had first hand experience and a scar hidden by her sheath to prove it.
