A quote from the Battle Systems thread Stat Systems and Passives If they do not have a clan they get another two passive slots. Having a demon takes two of those free slots regardless of if you choose not to have a clan along with it.

While many jinchuuriki deal with isolation and bullying, Kuchiro is far too emotionally secure and strong willed to be brought down by such weak attempts to troll. Kuchiro is not one to follow the rules set in stone by authority, and is at many times a serious troublemaker. While he is young and sometimes childish, if the situation demands it of him, he will meet the seriousness with a cool and calm state of mind where he makes rational decisions. ☐ Background: Kuchiro had grown up in Yukigakure his whole life. It was a place that was friendly to those who lived there, but outsiders were not so welcomed. The harsh climate presented a cold environment met with blizzards and constant snowy days. It was ironic, that a place of such a cold climate would be attacked by such a hot creature. The Two-Tailed demon had been running free for some time. They tried sealing it before, but it was simply too fast and too intelligent to be caught. It took to hiding in places it was not expected to be found. However, the Yukikage and their sealing squad were able to locate the Two-Tailed. They located the demon and after a long and grueling battle, which cost many Yuki shinobi their lives, they were able to seal the demon in Kuchiro. Kuchiro was only a boy then, a boy who volunteered not by choice, but by sheer shock. They convinced him then that this was the only way to stop the Two-Tailed from killing more people. More people other than his father and mother who died fighting the Two-Tailed as it rampaged. Of course, once the sealing was finished, Kuchiro passed out before waking up in a hospital. He had amnesia and forgot that he had been chosen as the jinchuuriki. Years passed by and the demon within him laid dormant. Kuchiro would not be reminded that the Two-Tailed existed until much later in his life. He finished his years at the academy, the local academy and became a proud aspiring genin. He noted an aptitude for the flame element and devoted his time to preparation for the Chunin Exams.

☐ Description: A family heirloom, passed through the family to the next heir. It was forged in the Land of Lightning, where the best blacksmiths exist. Kuchiro Mistalune, being the last and most current heir to the Mistalune family had found the blade in their old home. It is made of tempered cold steel and sharpened to deadly perfection. There is an inscription on the blade that says "The Dragon Dreams!" What distinguishes this blade from an average katana, is the fact that it has two special effects. Firstly, if the blade is rubbed by the user along the inscription, the inscription will change to "The Dragon Rages!" At this point, the blade will then glow a crimson red, where following a slash a stream of fire is unleashed similar to the breath of a dragon in a cone formation. This flame reaches out to about 10 feet in front of the user. The second effect possible, is that if someone takes the blade that is not of Mistalune blood, the blade's inscription will change on its own to "The Dragon Weeps!", by which follows the blade's hilt will super heat before the blade unleashes an explosion of flames in a 10 foot radius around the blade.

☐ Personality: The best way to describe. Kazuhiro is happy go lucky. He is often seen smiling or joking around with the people around him. He has a unusual humor sometimes (like wearing a frog suit to his grandmother's funeral) that can sometimes be inappropriate in certain situations. Kazuhiro comes off as goofy or childlike but once people get to know him that he is quite intelligent. He tends to be friendly with everyone, however, he only lets a few people into his real, more serious emotions, feelings and thoughts. He has a trust issue with that sort of information. At the age of three it was becoming apparent that Hazukiro was a bit off. Although his father discouraged silliness, his grandmother greatly encouraged it.
Spending a lot of time with his grandmother who was a retired summoner and a sage, he gained a liking to frogs and toads. On his fifth birthday his grandmother made him a frog suit which he wore a lot of in his early years. Hazukiro loved spending time with her, her sense of humor rubbed off on him and soon he was considered a goof. She was also the person that encourage him to be a shinobi and not follow in his parent's footsteps. Learning chakra control from her, he was also identified by his grandmother with the ability to sense chakra.
With his grandmother influence he was placed into the academy training program much to his mother's disapproval.When he entered the academy his father went off outside the village on a business trip and never returned. Although his death shattered Hazukiro, it brought him closer to his mother. Graduating from the academy his grandmother was so proud. Several months later she passed away from natural causes. Completely devastated Hazukiro fell into depression but found his old frog suit in the closet. Remaking the costume he wore it at his grandmother's funeral. Most people thought it disrespectful but only Hazukiro knew what it meant to his grandmother. He is now currently works closer to becoming a sage like his grandmother

☐ Personality: Mamoru is seen as a restless, optimistic individual. He tries to give his aid to everyone he needs it with 100 percent of his energy. He does whatever he can to make his peers smile, thinking that if they have a positive outlook on things, they can get through almost anything. He is often referred to as a class clown because of his goofy behaviors. He thinks of it as a morale-booster. Mamoru's compassion for his friends and family seems almost endless. He'd do anything to see them happy. Most of his free time is often spent training or helping out those who sought for it. One of the things he hates the most is inactivity. Seeing some of his friends laze around, or even himself sitting idle annoys him, however, he knows when he needs to take breaks from fatigue setting in. ☐ Background: Mamoru grew up under the roof of four with a family of the middle-class. His mother worked part-time at a local restaurant, and his father was a blacksmith. They both usually ended up busy, so Mamoru was often put in charge of watching over his little sister, Kyoko, though he never minded. He was quite fond of younger children, despite he being really young himself. They played games with each other outside and hung out all day until they were completely exhausted from any more fun. Sometimes, they went out to visit their friends and buy dinner from themselves. Whenever someone bullied her, he was always there to protect her, usually ending with Mamoru failing in his attempts and getting beat up. No matter how many times he was beaten by them, he was happy as long as he protected her. She was the one upset after all was said and done. She cried and whimpered. Her beloved older brother was beaten for her sake, and she could do nothing to stop it. Although other sorts of protection failed, his comfort seemed to have pulled through and re-assure Kyoko that there was no trouble caused, showing her that he was just fine or saying that "It's just a scratch! I'm too manly to whine over something like that!" Their lives of adolescence were somewhat lonesome, but as long as they had each other, they felt that things would be okay. He believed his parents were doing the best that they could to give them a home to stay in and food to eat. Although their parents were hard-working and often got some stress with time management with the kids and their jobs, they really seemed to have enjoyed every bit of the work they did. There was never a day when they were miserable with the job. His parents always felt that if they were, they should quit, because living an unhappy life is worse than living only for the money. Passion was big in the family , and was like a golden rule of his parents: to do things they liked with the best of their ability. Sometimes, they missed their children so much that they took long breaks off to come see the two of them. Through time, his mother became frailer with each moment and developed leukemia. Soon enough, she died after a simple illness proving to be fatal in the long run. Toshiro, their father, took her passing the hardest, and they did their best to re-assure him that things will get better. It took a while of grievance, but they managed to make him a happier man. They made him realize that he was fortunate to have loved someone like their mother, and that some day, things will not always remain the same. Now, of course the adolescent children could not give him this lesson through a speech, since they were still young and naive, but their actions and choices spoke for them. Before her death, she had a little talk with her children. She told them to live their life doing what they loved doing the most. They both promised her that they would do it for her sake, and their own as well. Mamoru set off on his way to do just as promised. His best and most favored habit of his was to help out people. Becoming a shinobi and protecting his village seemed like a reasonable way to help out a lot of different people at once. As a mere academy student, he seemed to excel in the practice activities of jutsu mostly because of his will and determination. It also seemed to have been some sort of second nature to him as well. Mamoru was not the best of his class, but certainly, he wasn't the worst either. He was far from that. Shortly after graduating as an academy student, Mamoru pursued his career as a young shinobi of the Snow.

What do you mean by enchant, like just out of no where he'll have a flaming sword? There's already an E Rank jutsu that basically does that, so no on that one. Also, if he's a single weapon master, he probably wouldn't be using both a longsword & shield combo and a kusarigama.

Also, if he's a single weapon master, he probably wouldn't be using both a longsword & shield combo and a kusarigama. Alright, I'll change it. One question though. Since he's a single weapon master, he would only be able to learn sword/shield techniques, right? I was told that I couldn't do it, but I wanted to make sure.

Since he's a single weapon master, he would only be able to learn sword/shield techniques, right? I was told that I couldn't do it, but I wanted to make sure. I believe so, but you should probably ask the Capt'n to be sure.

There's already an E Rank jutsu that basically does that, so no on that one. Also, if he's a single weapon master, he probably wouldn't be using both a longsword & shield combo and a kusarigama. It's a cycle of self-sabotage.
His combat style is a reflection of this issue, he lures enemies into close range and baits them into attacking only to viciously counter with his own technique or attempt to the turn the opponent's attack back on them.
He prefers to wear skimpy clothes and is sometimes found wandering around in nothing more than a pair of speedos and a swimming cap with goggles of all things, though he usually exercises a small amount of modesty and wears a green jacket too, open chested though.

☐ Background: Dan seemed a normal enough child, except for the manner of his arrival. As a baby he was found bundled in rags in the remnants of a boat washed up on the edge of the island of Tsukigakure. He was taken into the care of the village and raised by the ninja for the life of a ninja, the young Dan eager for adventure and thrills accepted this destiny with a smile.
At puberty a lot of people began to take notice of him, they said his presence was warm and inviting, others outright said he was growing into a very handsome man. This escalated throughout the years with some people fawning over him, it wasn't so much that he was actually all that attractive, others could transform into his form and the reaction would be nowhere near as intense. It is unknown what causes this mass attraction to D.D. and the mystery has absorbed many of the medical ninja's attention.
His issues with trusting others and constantly doubting their intentions have impeded his team work skills and thus held him back as a ninja, thus making him still a Genin even at age 23. He is slowly exiting his shell of pseudo-narcissism and cynicism though.
