Tirla lands in an open space near a dark mare festooned in ribbons. She had been flying, exploring, when she saw the gathering. It looked entirely too interesting not to investigate. Nodding to the other mare. "Excuse me, I hope you don't mind. I just . . . was wondering what was happening. Oh, I'm Tirla by the way." Tossing her forelock out of her eyes, she looks around, noticing the gathering of colorful mini racers, she peers at them, trying to figure out their costumes.

Dice wondered what in the world was going on.
She felt a gust of air hit her first and then saw the shadow stretching out before her. That is when she turned her head upwards towards the sky seeing a mare descend upon her.
Making a rather questionable squeak of protest, she stepped backwards, shifting from left to right until the mare got closer and then she settled on a stride to the right, giving her room to land.
She couldn't help but giggle at the whole ordeal.
Looking to the mare, she couldn't help but admire those neat looking goggles on her head. It reminded her of one of the racers and and in turn think if she was an adventurer of sorts.
"Hi Tirla. I'm Dice." She grinned at her, with a bounce of her head. Her bangs bobbing about around her face.
"I love your goggles and your name, so pretty."
With a chirp she moved closer. "Quite an entrance you made there. Thought I was going to be flattened for sure."
She chuckled, meaning the great descent.
"Well..." She looked over to the race track. "You have missed the start but theres a couple of adorable Usida racing one another. It's been so exciting so far!"

Tirla looks a bit embarrassed, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you. I . . . I'm accustomed to landing in all kinds of tight spaces. It's the taking off that's a bit harder. It is nice to meet you Dice. I can't really take credit for the goggles or the name, my father gave me one, my mother the other, but thank you for the kindness."
Following the other's gaze back to the racers, "Ah, they are rather cute. I've never tried racing on the ground, sounds fascinating. Is there any one in particular you're routing for?

"Oh no, it's quite alright." She smiled, looking back at her.
"I could only imagine how hard it is." She nudged her head towards her back. She was grounded in this life although she had often thought of what it must be like to just be able to fly away sometimes just to get some room to enjoy some peace and quiet.
"You're most welcome, they must have good taste." She was used to seeing all kinds of different decorations on soquili, having lived most of her life around Heartland folk.
It was nice to see the simple things could be pleasing to the eyes too.
She gave an enthusiastic nod at the mare, chuckling. "You bet! I'm rooting for DD Butters. She isn't doing too bad, her poor twin seems to be getting all of the problems thrown at her today." She shook her head in sympathy.
"The little mare over there is dusting them. My son bet that she was going to win the event but I'm not going to give up hope."
Winking at the mare, her eyes then took to looking at the racing star who was earning the majority of the points so far before returning her gaze to the new found company.
"Anyone you like the look of?"

StarieMichie Storm Wind approached where the mare was standing. He smiled politely. "That's an interesting tune you're humming." Glancing around the area, he saw that the stadium was packed, and getting fuller by the minute. The race was going strong, and there was excitement filled to the brim! It was as if the crowd could burst into confetti of joy and enthusiasm at any moment. The feeling was infectious, and Storm Wind's eyes lit up with glee. This was a pretty good vantage point for the race, but he didn't want to intrude, "Do you mind if I stand here? This spot isn't saved for anyone else, is it?" Looking over to the stallion "Oh thank you. It is a tune my mother would hum to me so I could stay stand and not pounce about." She giggles as she watches the race again. "This is fun and exciting even if it is just watching. I never knew that watching something could be this fun." She then hears his question. "Be my guest. And No it isn't saved. I came on my own to watch. I don't think my love would be the kind to like this type of stuff. He keeps to himself and I am not sure he would enjoy things just big crowds. Oh where are my manners. I am Shikon." She talks a lot for a bit when she is excited but that goes away after awhile and she is not so hyped up. Her eyes focus on the racers and the race again. She is cheering in the inside for Cherry to win but she doesn't wanna seem insane so she keeps the cheering inside of her head for now.

Tirla looks around at the ones who seem to be part of the activity. "Well, I think I like the one with the brown coat and white feather tail. She's dashing. Which one of the twins is Butters?" Aware she was coming late to the race, Tirla still was interested in knowing what was going on.

Dice blinked at the mare confused for a moment.
Brown coat and whit feather tail...
"I see who you mean now!" She giggled. "I was looking for one of the racers."
She shook her head with a sweet smile. "That is the announcer, I don't think she is racing today. Just commentating."
She gave a light shrug.
"She is very pretty, I agree, and those garments she wears are lovely."
The same style would suit Tirla.
"Is that something you would consider wearing too? I think those colours would suit you. You have a very adventurous look about you!"
That was paid as a compliment but she wasn't certain if it could be taken any other way or not and just hoped for the best.
"Butters is the blue one of the two that look the most like each other. The red one is Nutters, who is suffering a serious case of bad luck."

Aurora made her way through the crowds, her eyes wild with excitement. The thundering excitement from the crowd was contagious and she could feel her heart pumping wildly in her chest. She weasled her way closer and closer to the front, but soon her tail stopped swishing around excitedly when she realized she was still too far to see her favorite racers. She jumped, trying to balance on her back legs trying to peer a closer look. She teetered around, trying to keep her balance. A scratchy noise escaping as she nearly fell backwards.

Round Three! Well on their way, this was where the endurance kicked in. The cheering of the spectators really did help as colours flapped in the wind encouraging the small usida to continue on their speedy trek. Cherry was easily in the lead at this point and even slowed down slightly to conserve her energies for the final lap. There was a scuffle from behind as Nutters pushed ahead of Reese and started to level with Jethro, finding her second wind and using it to her advantage. She was cantering ahead to shorten the gap between herself and Pixi when Jethro picked up his own speed and pulled up along side her. Up ahead Patches and Butters were still running neck and neck, each trying to one up the other. They came to a sharp turn and Patches shifted slightly, hoping to catch Butters unawares and knock her off the track. A sharp rock slipped under his hoof as he darted to the side and skimmed forward across the ground catching Minty in the side! She started and lost some ground, finding herself running side by side with both Patches and Butters!!
With a sudden burst of speed, Butters swerved past the corner and managed to take the lead, leaving Patches in the dust. Minty pressed forward, ignoring the pain in her side and tried to keep up with Patches, not wanting to fall back any more. Pixi noticed the scramble and lowered her head, keeping her profile slim so she could catch up and hopefully take her advantage. The pack passed over the line once more to complete the round, the rankings had just got interesting!Rankings! 1st - Cherry SweetyPie: 3,844 2nd - DD Butters: 2,1303rd - Batten Patches: 2,118 4th - Mintireo Kisses: 2,082 5th - Pixarella Candituff: 1,979 6th - Retro Jethro: 1,636 7th - DD Nutters: 1,184 8th - Reese Lightning: 915

Juniper scurried back to watch after she had taken a bit of time to have some snacks.
"Oh no, I keep missing the action!" she cried as she got close. She did however make it in time to see her favorite, Batten Patches, stumble a bit before catching himself. She let her breath out. He was still okay, in second, but not doing too badly. She glanced to the side to see a mare cheering for Butters. That leap had been impressive, but she would always be a Patches fan. She hummed contentedly as she glanced around at the soq surrounding her. She wouldn't call herself shy persay, but all of them seemed to be talking amongst themselves. She didn't want to interrupt. She kept her eyes glued to the track. This time she wouldn't miss anything!

Nicor trotted in, trying to find a better position to watch the racers. Her racer was in the back of the pack and this made her a bit temperamental. "No fair, move it!" she groaned. As she re positioned herself, she spotted a green mini mare with really pretty hair. Trotting over, she flipped her tentacle mane back over her back, the longest one not behaving and snaking its way out towards Juniper. "Heey! I like your hair. Who ya cheerin for?" she grinned and took a position next to the green one, totally just butting her way in.
She glanced back to see some of the racers stumbled and a giggling cheer erupted from her throat. "Yeah! Stumble! So Jethro can get his rear in gear." she pouted and stomped her hooves into the ground, her tail tentacles flipping around madly. She huffed and glanced back at Juniper as if she was taking waaaaay too long to answer.

June blinked as someone came up beside her. She stared in wonder at the mini mare's hair. She'd never seen anything so cool before. She giggled as one of the tentacles extended her way. Her eyes widened as she realized that the mare had spoken to her.
"Oh! Ah - Thank you. It's really not as cool as yours. Braid are boring. Tentacles - well they're cool. I mean wow it's got a mind of it's own. It's just too cool - oh. I'm rambling," June flushed. "I'm sorry my mouth tends to wander away from me," she coughed a bit.
"Um I'm cheering for Batten Patches. I really like him. I take it you're cheering for Jethro, then? What's your name? I'm Juniper, but you could call me June," She smiled, happy to have someone to talk to. She just hoped her mouth hadn't gotten her off on the wrong hoof.

Nicor eyed 'June' and looked her up and down. "Oh ... yeah, they are totes cool. she said and flipped her mane again, looking quite smug. The long one still didn't mind and reached out to touch Juniper. "Except that one. It wont let me brain it and I wanted a braid today..." snorts at it and stomps her hooves again in a mini temper tantrum.
She eyed the racers again, seeing Jethro still in the back. She sighed grumpily. "Yeah I'm cheering for him I guess.... but he's not doing good. And I'm Nicor by the way." she managed a smile before sticking her tongue out and blowing raspberries at the track.

Sounansha looked at the two young ones, enjoying how brightly they seemed to introduce themselves.
"Well, Ziggy is a very nice nickname to be such. And Hari doesn't seem like it could possibly get any shorter!"
Soun laughed a bit at that. He found it amusing that Hari even introduced himself saying that people called him Hari. It was amusing to the stallion.
"At least you are confident in your choice then. And I would enjoy very much going to see you perform Ziggy. I'm sure you will be a master in your art in no time at all."
As he saw the other, larger, stallion approach with the drinks, he smiled. The little ones seemed like they were pretty thirsty at this point anyway. He was about to walk away when the large stallion then turned his attention to him.
"Naturally. It is a fine day to enjoy. Nice weather for a race and a large gathering of sorts as well. Wouldn't you agree?"
Kadentsu winked playfully at the stallion, sticking her tongue out a bit.
"I'm sure that you could certainly handle getting a flag and another round of drinks for us later. Maybe when the last round is set to begin? That seems like the best time to show support for the racers involved. And, of course, for a nice refresh on drinks. Since it's such a nice say out."
She nudged him over a bit with her flank, teasing him a bit.
"It's also good that you know the racers names so well. I hadn't had a chance to study them too much. Though I know that they are the best of the best around here."
