"Easy there..." Danny's arm gently lifted the farmer into the desired sitting position, the other bringing a glass of water to Aila's lips. "Drink," she encouraged gently. "It'll help with the dizziness." The Skh'et was immensely relieved. Even though being in close proximity to Aila was wonderful, her two-day nap had been worrying...

Aila coughed as she drank, sputtering a bit of the water and making a bit of a mess as she did so. She wiped her face before turning at Danny and giving an apologetic smile that was also filled with relief. "Are you okay?" She asked, the first words that she had spoken since her passing out.

Danny just smiled back, grabbing a towel from the side table to help clean up the water. "I'm fine. My wound healed right up." Wounds that marred the brand always did. She guessed it was so that no one could cover it up with other brands or scars. A bit of amusement showing on her face, she continued, "I should be asking you that. Feeling any better?"

Aila groaned and rubbed her head before looking towards her covered up leg. With a blush she realized that Danny had been taking care of her... and her wound was really close to.. well that nether region... and she also realized that to have Danny take care of her she would practically have to be naked on the bottom and that means that Danny basically saw her with her pants off. Oh dear...
Crimson deeply marred her features as she struggled to not make eye contact with the other woman. Well this was awkward... "uh..." She coughed, had Danny just asked her a question? Oh dear/

Danny blinked, following her gaze. What was she...? Oh. Right. Aila was still a little... well, uncomfortable around her, right? She probably didn't even remember the last request she made before passing out. Her gaze went to Aila's crimson face and she couldn't help laughing. It just came out. She laughed so hard that tears formed in her eyes. "You're a real piece of work, you know that?" she said as she wiped the tears of laughter from her eyes. Geez, the farmer really didn't know she was twisting Danny's heart around her finger, did she? Though the Skh'et couldn't help feeling that Aila deserved someone else, someone better. Someone that wasn't a freakish mix of genders with the body of a woman but the appearance and voice of a man. And yet... she couldn't bear to leave.
But her own thoughts could wait. Danny was still taking care of Aila, after all. "Anyway, are you hungry?"

Aila shook her head and the blush started to fade away as she did so. "N..no i'm not hungry... But uhm.. Danny.. I really need to talk to you.." She sputtered out after the other girl was finished laughing. She had been wrong to withold her feelings from Danny, she deserved the truth, even if she did run away like the others. "Listen.. I uh.. haven't been fair to you.. and I realized that when.. when you saved me.. and I want to apologize..."

Danny just smiled again, shaking her head. "You don't need to apologize." She lightly hugged Aila's upper half to her bound chest. "You were protecting your heart. I can't object to that." Yellow-green eyes shone down at the recovering farmer. "I'll hold you for however long you wish," she added softly. "Not a minute more or less."

Aila sighed and leaned into Danny's arms. "Danny... I am sorry... And I do need to apologize.. I haven't been fair to either of us and I..." She shook her head and sighed. How did she get out what she was trying to say?
Finally she leaned back and lightly kissed Danny's lips, hoping to convey the message she meant along with it. Her hands lightly rested on Danny's hips, wanting to pull her closer but she restrained herself and leaned back, her green eyes looking into Danny's to see the emotion within.

Aila kissed her and she practically melted in bliss. When the farmer pulled away, Danny smiled and sighed, yellow-green eyes sparkling. "You really are a piece of work..." She sat down on the edge of the bed, moving into Aila's arms while wrapping the farmer in her own. The Skh'et pushed her bunny ears back and leaned down, softly pressing her lips to Aila's again. Had she really not realized it? Danny was wrapped around her finger...

Aila sighed and leaned into hug Danny, her arms wrapping around her waist. "I.. don't know what else to do or say..." She said softly, a blush lighting on her cheeks
Danny chuckled as she leaned into the hug, tightening her own hold around Aila. "Then don't say anything," she replied softly before leaning in and kissing her again.
Aila sighed into the kiss and pulled away after a moment, leaning into Danny's chest and just staying there, comfortable and peaceful.
Danny let out a quiet sigh as she held Aila close. This was what she wanted, what she'd yearned for for so long. A real love. 'Charli... I don't want to leave.' A smile wouldn't leave her face. 'For the first time... I don't want to leave.'

Charli sent just a comfortable feeling to his Bond. He had no words to send her, no vocal reply, only a warmth that said he understood how she felt.

Aila gathered the bags together, wincing for a moment and catching her breath before continuing. She had decided that she was well enough to travel again, and that they needed to get home. Soon. They had already been gone a week longer than she had intended to, and she was aching to get home to her other Bonds, as they were getting antsy and worried, despite her telling them that she was okay.

Danny smiled as she wordlessly took some of the bags from Aila. For once, that smile was genuine instead of a habit to hide her feelings. It had been like this since their moment in the inn. There wasn't a trace of the Skh'et's injury to be found and she all but begged to help the injured farmer. Not only did it make her feel more productive, it meant that she got to spend time with Aila.

Aila smiled at Danny, handing some bags over to the Sh'ket, leaning over far enough to kiss her as she did so, a bit of a devilish and impulsive bit that she had gotten comfortable in indulging in since that first night at the inn. Her green eyes were twinkling as she watched the little bunny move around what had been their temporary refuge, before checking to make sure they had everything and leading the way outside, where Charli and Maera were waiting.
