Jed laid on the ground as the referee had counted four. It wasn't until the referee, and the crowd, counted "FIVE!!" that Jed would move a body part. Jed was in control and that surprise move by Aj Warner could have just ended this match for Jed.

Getting to his feet took some time, but once the referee said "six", AJ realized he only had a limited amount of time to continue to compete in this match. Warner looked at Jed but didn't go for any moves and whatnot. He was in a world of pain himself, and if he was going to win this match it would not be by countout. He rolled into the ring, his neck still in pain from the half nelson he attempted.

Warner rolled out of the ring so the referee would start the count. He knew if Jed was gonna win or lose, the result of this match should not be determined by countout. The referee restarted his count, and in return, AJ would attempt to throw Jed back into the ring.

As the referee counted eight Jed was going to shoot/slide into the ring, but he saw Aj roll out to break the count. Jed stayed on a knee until Aj tried to grab Jed. That was when Jed would jumped up and try for a JKO to Aj Warner.

It was hard to predict Jed's moves; one of the things that made him such a great competitor was his quickness and variety of moves. Unfortunately for AJ, he would not be able to see the JKO coming and his face was planted on the outside floor.

Jed was able to hit his former finishing maneuver, now signature, on Aj Warner. Jed laid on the ground as the referee counted One! Jed smirked as the crowd was in awe from the lighting fast cutter from Jed. Sure Jed was getting older, but it would seem he still had the speed of when he was younger when he was known as The High Flying Deadman.

(sorry was out of town)
Laying on the ground and holding his jaw was not apart of the winning strategy. However, it was the position AJ was in as the referee continued counting. Two! ... Three!

AJ was on his hands and knees once the ref said six, holding the front of his neck from the JKO. Jed was in full control at this point.

Jed slide into the ring at seven and tried to get up to his feet. The referee stopped for a second to talk to Jed. If Jed hadn't slid into the ring the referee would have been at nine. Jed took a knee on the canvas before signally the referee to count to eight.

AJ heard the eight count and used his will to get to his feet and roll into the ring, even if he would not be able to stand once he got in the ring for the time being.

AJ got to a knee and looked at Jed with an exhausted smile on his face. That got the crowd a bit pumped for the wrestlers return and his face antics. Not only had it been a long time since Warner had been in a ring, it had been forever since he had been a face. The crowd clapped for him to get up as he was on all fours trying to push himself up.
