Claves giggled slightly as she returned her Gengar, she then grinned. "You forget I do have my cubone, he could help us out." She said with a smile as she held up the pokeball for Cubone.

"Great!" Nancy smiled for the first time that day and the goon wrapped in Thursday's spiderweb fell silent. Poirot could use his nose to help them find a more exact location using those instructions. "I do believe the police station is on the way there which is rather convenient." Nancy grinned thinking about this, it was like being a real detective catching crooks like... The smile faded again. Nick. That and there was the very real possibility of dying.
She was going to make him do a lot of explaining. Nancy returned Shawn and Thursday to their pokeballs while Emerson took the other arm of the minion they had captured. Nancy and the combusken began to drag him to the station. "Do you mind waiting a little for me and some policemen to catch up before raiding the hideout of a dangerous criminal syndicate?"
(A protagonist that actually calls the police? What?)

"I have my reasons, haven't you ever thought that someone important to me is in danger?! Why do you think I joined!?" Nick yelled as the scene fell quiet, at that moment the yell silenced everything in the base, for a moment there was nothing making a sound. Even Matt felt sympathy for him. He recalled his Gengar and his Flygon "I'm sorry we need to go." Matt said as he took Kujo and the scroll from Nick, it seemed like Nick whispered something in Matt's ear, he nodded and continued to retrieve the two. With both of their backs facing each other, they walked in opposite directions.

Claves nodded as she looked around for a place to sit, she couldn't find any so she called our her cubone as her sneasel stood besides her. The cubone had started to try and fight some dust while her sneasel sat besides Claves.
Even the unown were quiet for a time when Nick had an outburst. Kujo didn't say anything as the ice block he was in was dragged off. It took a few seconds of silence for the unown to say something.
Oh yes, we got your part wrong. It was supposed to say Hearts will become corrupted, A forest sentinel will bring back those that are lost. You need to look out for Celebi since you guys are going to need to help each other out.
The alarms started blaring above their heads causing Kujo to wince. He couldn't raise his hands to cover his ears but it couldn't have been them causing this alarm, right? Was there something else going on too?
Nancy and Emerson dragged the goon into the police station much to the desk worker's surprise. "Can I help you?" "Yes! This is some guy who's working for Team Gamma that we found spying on us and we have the location of a hideout right near town." Nancy explained quickly how they had caught the lurker as the officer at the desk nodded with a small frown. "I see... We can take him into custody but do you have any evidence? Sure he's wearing the uniform but... I will go see the Lieutenant Marl. He's the one in charge of investigating Team Gamma activity."
The officer did not return but another policeman came back. The man was average height but Nancy still got the impression of being short around him. He raised a bushy black eyebrow at her. "He explained the story. Thank you miss, I will take it from here but I must insist on calling your parents. Girls your age should not be running around taking on criminals." Nancy remained silent. She felt insulted, she was 17, a good 7 years older than most trainers started at. "You and your friend wherever she is will be reprimanded, do you understand? We also cannot go check out the location without a search warrant." That was worse news.
"What?! But..."
"It's your word right now against his." Lieutenant Marl gestured towards the now silent goon. He needed to convince her to leave this. "But... You seem like you were trying to do the right thing. Go home and leave the work to us. It may be at least a week before we can safely invade the hideout and you don't want to be here when that happens. I know what these people are capable of." Nancy opened and closed her mouth. They didn't have that long.
"I'm sorry sir but part of the reason I'm worried is because I believe some of my friends are already trying to take down this hideout by themselves."
"That's their own fault for being idiotic!" he tried to think of how to deter this teen girl. He was being paid to prevent exactly this sort of disaster! Tenebrae would be displeased and he needed to get rid of her so he could alert them. "We'll get them out when we have the time and resources in place. This takes planning. Go home."
The guy who had been at the desk overheard parts of this. It was true that this was dangerous but they weren't going to get the girls in trouble for helping them find valuable evidence and coming right to them right? There was something odd though. Weren't they allowed to invade secret hideouts in Luna? They had enough for a warrant after some snooping yesterday done by Lieutenant Marl. The brown haired girl and her combusken left the building and the officer returned to the desk and let out his growlithe and scribbled a quick note before following the Lieutenant to ask to help with the raid. The growlithe ran to deliver it.
Nancy returned to Claves feeling like today was once again on the worst-day-ever classification. She didn't need to talk, the looks on her and Emerson's faces should have told the whole story.
"They want us to go home. They are worried about our safety and yes, they tried not to be condescending about it but... yeah." Nick was in there though, and that odd time traveler girl. She knew they needed help right now. "Are you still opening the door? It'll probably get you in serious trouble."
The growlithe ran after them with the note and dropped it at the girls feet:Nancy, That was good work you and Claves did but there seemed to be a few things the Lieutenant wasn't entirely truthful about. He doesn't want to see you guys get hurt so he wasn't telling you some things. We're already authorized to conduct a raid, I think he just wanted you girls out of town. Team Gamma is bad news and they might be going after retribution, the kids in books and stuff who do detective work don't get into nearly as much trouble as people do in real life. He didn't want others following your example because of that. If he doesn't go today, I will.

Matt continued on carrying Kujo and the frozen scroll towards the exit, it was odd. A human carrying a block of ice on his shoulder and a scroll on the other. Matt remained silent when carrying these two. It seemed like what Nick said to him really affected him. Meanwhile Nick stopped for a second and walked towards Dr. Tenebrae's lab.
Claves' cubone had been hitting the wall she was leaning against for a while but had then moved on to a fake battle with Chanto, she giggled slightly at Nancy's question. "My dear Namida has been practicing his bonemeramg for the whole time so yes I'm still opening it, besides you and I both know that you want to go in there." she said with a small smile.

Dr. Tenebrae walked right past a bunch of goons on the way to see what all the fuss was about and barked out a command to them. He figured it was best to have backup. The loud alarms blaring his ears out didn't seem nearly as import as finding the cause of the noise and he threw open a door with the tracker in hand. Apollo was standing right in front of him with his friends and Tenebrae made sure to check all new recruits first thing so he knew something was up when he didn't recognize a single face among them. The tracker also was a dead giveaway as to which was Apollo. "You are not my employees. Get them." he snarled to the minions that he'd brought with him. "Go, Data. Use agility." Tenebrae ordered letting out a Porygon2 to help subdue the intruders.
Apollo and Co. were successful in the fact that they'd distracted Tenebrae from Kujo and Matt. Their failure came because Nick's tracker worked in Kujo's favor.
(Oh rats, I forgot to make a moveset of all of the Mad Scientist's pokemon... they're all about level 40ish? I need to go do that.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------
"True I don't want to get in trouble but..." It was stupid to just go charging in but she really did want to go in. Nancy picked up the letter and the growlithe left after getting payment in the form of headpats. (His tail speed was set at 'frappe') She felt irritated that she'd been lied to and she gave in to temptation. "Hey... well that explains a lot. You want a look at this or should we just go bust down a door? My herdier can do some tracking." Nancy let out Poirot and asked him to sniff once they got to the mossy rock. They were going to go have some fun!
" Ahh!! Go Gibby!!" Apollo said throwing out his Gabite. " Break through their forces!!" Gibby knocked several team Gamma members out of the way. Everyone ran behind Gibby. Zane pulled his hat down over his face to make sure none of the goons, or Tenebrae, saw his face. - ( Time skip) " I think we lost them." Tatsuno said. " Yeah. For now. There is the confinement area." Zane said. Gibby broke the door down. Kenji lifted his head with excitement. " Apollo!?" He asked. " Yeah bro it's us!!" Apollo shouted in reply. " Gibby let everyone out!!" Gibby crushed each of the locks on each of the cells. All the people ran to their pokemon, even Kenji and Neku. Lily woke up and got her pokemon too. " Thanks dude. Hey meet Neku and May." Kenji said. " Nice to meet you." Neku told the crew. " We should start making our way out of here don't you think?" " Yeah. let's go." Apollo said.

Something peculiar happened. Dr. Tenebrae didn't give chase, he just stood there and then happily strolled over to a wall panel and pressed a button. After a computer touch screen was revealed he tapped a few menu icons and ignored the moans of his subordinates that were getting back up. "You three on the right, go follow them to the prison cells. The security cameras are in working order now but they can go haywire if sabotage takes place. The rest of you block off the exit. They're on my territory now and things will be most... interesting." He alerted all goons and researchers to be on guard but most of them were cleared out to block exits leaving the place mostly empty. "Activate protocol: Trick Room."
The speaker system responded. "Protocol activated. Setup L in place." it said as the place rumbled but no visible change could be seen...
One of Tenebrae's favorite projects he'd ever completed was the electronic false trick room effect. He'd installed it in every hall way to rearrange the place into an impossible maze and powered it by psychic gems and electric generators. It was subtle and changed every 15 minutes. Even worse he'd added holograms of hostile pokemon and minions to confuse people into attacking at every shadow. Tenebrae made sure that only he knew the formula for room changes and by the time the kids got out of there they would probably be exhausted. He consulted his X-Transciever and looked at the matrix generated for setup L then waited. It was simplicity itself to find the confinement area itself but the rest was like an old RPG maze with endless corridors that required a set order of doors that you had to use to move ahead.
Claves grinned as her cubone stood in front of her. "Now then Namida hit that with your bonemerang." She said as her cubone reared its arm back and then flung the bone forward as it hit the wall and came back into its hand.

The door slid open for the marowak revealing not only the tunnel but also a couple of surprised minions in Team Gamma uniform who'd been sent by Tenebrae to keep people from leaving.
"...Hey! More intruders!? Get them!"
"I'll take the one on the left." said Nancy as Poirot bounded forward to growl at the opposition. The guy on the right pulled a pokeball off his belt and tossed it at his feet to release a zigzagoon.
Goon's team
Zigzagoon: Knows sand attack, toxic, pin missile, and growl.
Magnemite: Knows magnet bomb, thunder shock, supersonic, and tackle
Electrode: Knows Charge, sonic boom, spark, and rollout
Claves did not need to worry about Nancy, her herdier was doing just fine against the other guy's Eelektrik.
Claves giggled as her cubone stepped forward. "Oh my you think you're going to win...how funny." She said with a sadistic smile as her Sneasel snickered in response. "Now then Namida use your bonemerang once again." She said as her cubone nodded and threw the bone forward hoping the two strike attack would hit.

"Dodge and use toxic!" The zigzagoon dodged the bonemerang neatly then it's claws took on a purple sheen as it dove at the marowak with a hiss. The swift creature had nearly reached its target but had forgotten the Bonemerang would return and got clocked neatly on the back of his head. "Ziiiii..."
The raccoon thing recovered from the shock and jumped over Namida's head to land on all fours just behind Namida then viciously swiped at her back with the toxic poison.
Claves smirked as she watched the zigzagoon. "Behind you." She said as the cubone turned around and blocked the claw with its bone then pushed the zigzagoon away. "Now then hit it with your bone club." She said as the cubone rushed at it and tried to swipe its bone at its head.
