The nurse shook her head and watched as the doctors and nurses worked on Rye "he needs to start becoming active now that he is awake so his muscles and organs can re adapt to being awake" she answered ren "and right now all we can do is wait, once they get him stabalized you can put on a sterile suit and go in with him if he is remaining stable" she answered without taking her eyes off Rye, she had developed quite a fondness for the boy as well over the years of checking in on the comatose patient. "it is starting to get late though, you don't have to stay" she offered to him, she knew how in these situations people like Ren would feel obligated to stay and tried to ease the feeling of obligation. She had always felt bad for the families who stayed by their loved ones day and night and ended up driving themselves into the ground by the constant worry.

The nurse nodded in understanding "plus I understand you have a physical therapy session rescheduled, you should overwork yourself while still healing either" she added and glanced down at the paperwork she had in her hand on the clipboard "actually it's tomorrow morning rather early" she said with a grimace as she handed him an appointment card, it was for 5am since they had to squeeze him in somewhere.

Sedu was finishing up with his meeting at the snazzy resturaunt down the road. Shaking hands with the man he had been speaking to they came to an agreement and went their seperate ways. Sedu now finished with work left the building, as soon as he was on his way back to the hospital his whole demeanor changed, he was really very timid and just held a confident air only for work. Ears flattening slightly at the though of his son being alone he headed through the doors to the coma floor

The nurse nodded with a gentle smile "you may always visit, he just may not always be awake" she offered as she watched the boy, there was a risk he could slip back into his coma with the turn of events and she was worried.

Sedu was walking down the hallway fingers tapping away at his phone as he managed his job from within the sterile hallways, heading toward a room he would find empty.

The nurse watched Ren go for a moment before turning back to Rye with a small smile "I do hope you are awake when he comes back, or that he can wake you up once more" she whispered before heading back to work seeing as she had other patients to take care of.

It took a moment for Sedu to realize Ren was trying to flag him down, stopping the man's heart sank for a moment fearing what may have happened to his son while he had been gone. "a steril room, why, what happened?" he asked, fear choking him up as his ears laid flat against his skull while he waited for the injured naga to tell him what had happened to the only person he had left in the world to love.

Sedu immediately began trembling when Ren began speaking of his son and his phone sat forgotten in his hand as he stared at the ground, he knew there would be complications for a boy that had been comatose for so many years, he had just been so happy his son had woken up that he hadn't thought of it. "will you take me there?" he asked in a small voice, looking up with large eyes, obviously distraught.

Sedu followed Ren quietly as he led him to his son. By the time they arrived back at the isolation room Ryes eyes would be open and he would be propped up in his bed again. He had a minor infection that the dr's assumed had remained dormant throughout him coma and he had caught sometime while asleep but the medications they fed him to keep him alive had kept it at bay. He was still weak and mildly pale but the pain medication they had given him allowed him to be awake without it being too unpleasant. The boys ears perked as he saw Ren and the man everyone had told him was his father on the other side of the glass walls.

The father's face had worry lines on it as he placed his hand gently on the glass. A small nod issued from his tired head "I would like that" he said quietly without breaking his line of sight to his son.

The medical staff in the room had decreased in number since they had been gone and now only a few with clipboards were monitoring the tiny boys vitals and other various stats being shown on the screens.

Sedu's shoulders shuddered slightly as he sighed and tried to keep his calm "you know, he's gotten bigger since the accident, I wonder if it's strange to wake up and no longer recognize your own body" he mumbled as his ears folded back and his eyes dropped to the ground "though it seems like he has no memory of before so I wonder if he even notices" he added quietly before glancing back to Ren with misty eyes.
