At least he knew better than to argue with her and tell her that everything was fine and nothing was wrong. She might have thrown a napkin at his head if he tried to lie to her, she couldn't stand it. That, and his fidgeting was making it patently obvious that there was something bothering him, even a stranger could have been able to tell. So Rowena just watched him patiently as he gave up and got to his feet, walking over to her. She blinked a bit in surprise when he turned her chair around and knelt down, wondering what he was thinking to be doing this. Looking at him, she leaned into his touch as she always did as his hand rested on her cheek and looked back at him expectantly.
Listening to his words, her cheeks slowly flushed and her eyes widened in surprise. Why she was, she didn't know, when she supposed it was obvious that he was in love with her. Feeling his touch on her cheek, the young woman could only stare at him, her heart racing all all thoughts flying out of her head. Her hands found their way around his neck and her fingers curled in his hair and in his shirt a little bit. Hearing him say he loved her...it was almost frightening in a way, and she didn't know why it did. Perhaps because it was simply realizing that she meant so much to someone else and she didn't want to do anything to hurt Dallas, ever. Letting out a breath, Rowena smiled a little at him. Was he worried she didn't love him back? How could he even think she didn't - he was the most important person in the world to her.
"I love you too, Dallas," she told him softly. It was a relief to finally say it, to acknowledge it. "I love you so much, more than anyone else. You're so important to me, I can't...imagine ever leaving you. I don't want to. I just want to be with you and love you, you make me so happy. More than I could ever tell you," Rowena told him, the words leaving her as quick as she thought them. That being said, she leaned forward and pressed her lips against his. "I love you so much. Please don't leave me," she whispered, pulling back just enough to talk, her lips brushing against his, before pressing into him again.

 ☽~☾ Dallas ☽~☾Dallas smiled, relieved that she loved him back. A small chuckle of relief escaped his lips and then her hands were in his hair and shirt. He continued to listen to her confession and then all it took was a kiss to seal it. That kiss was truly the end of them because Dallas knew in that moment that he would never give her up. He pressed against her, his lips crushed against Roo's. He wrapped his arms around her torso and deepened the kiss. After a moment, he pulled away just enough to speak.
"I could never leave you."
Dallas pressed his lips against Rowena's once again and then stood up, taking Roo with him. He held her tightly in his arms and then thought 'Ah, screw dinner.'. He used his vampire speed to run through the house and arrive at his bedroom. He pushed open the door with his foot before he carried Roo over to the bed. Dallas sat down on the edge of the bed with Roo in his lap as he continued to kiss her passionately.
"I love you so much Rowena."
Dallas kissed her passionately, running his hands over her back and tangling a hand in her hair. He held her so close to him that there was no space between them and that's exactly how he wanted it to be. He would never let Roo go for as long as he lived.ஆ I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down,

Why she was relieved when he kissed her back, she didn't know. As if Dallas would do anything but kiss her back. Maybe she was just glad that it wasn't some dream and that she wasn't waking up from it. There was a rush around her as he used his vampire speed - it was the first time he'd ever done that with her and she clung to him, trusting him completely. There wasn't anything Dallas could do that would make her scared of him, or fall out of love with him, or not trust him. She was completely his, and not because he'd bought her as a slave.
He was making it hard to breathe, not that she even noticed. Her arms were around his neck, clutching at him almost desperately as she felt him lower them down and finding herself in his lap. Rowena kissed him back just as passionately, just as hard, feeling his fingers tangle in her hair. Shuddering on top of him a bit, she pressed against him urgently, her body crushed up against his. "I love you," she managed breathlessly. It was a relief to finally be able to say the words and she never wanted to stop saying them, to be honest. Rowena shifted in his lap and let out a soft moan into the kiss, nipping at his bottom lip.
They always stopped before they reached this point, when their bodies wanted each other so much it was a physical ache. But she didn't want to stop, not now, not ever, and the human couldn't seem to catch her breath, completely wrapped in the vampire she was so stupid in love with.

☽~☾ Dallas ☽~☾Dallas moaned when Rowena shuddered above him and then pressed further into his body. He shuddered beneath her and growled in pleasure when she bit his lip. He could feel their bodies aching for each other and he knew there was no going back this time. Neither of them wanted to stop and Dallas was so filled with her presence that he wouldn't have been able to even if he wanted to. Dallas pulled off Rowena's shirt, his hands running hungrily over her exposed skin as his lips crashed down on hers once more.
Dallas removed his lips from Roo's.
"I love you too."
Dallas began to kiss her jawline, latching onto her neck. He nibbled the tender skin there and licked up the side of her neck before he began to nibble on her ear. HIs hands roamed her exposed skin, pulling her close to him. Their bodies were crushed against each other and Dallas felt as if he was going to lose his mind. He was so filled with lust and want that it was almost too much to take. Dallas turned and tossed Roo onto the bed before taking off his shirt. He crawled over to her, pressing himself to her once again. His lips traced the skin of her jaw, her neck, and finally her collarbone.
Dallas looked up at Roo, lust evident in his eyes. They had never gone this far before and he wanted to see what she was feeling, if she wanted to go this far. Dallas kissed her lips gently, passionately. It was like he couldn't get enough of her, even if it was to check if she wanted something like this.ஆ I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down,

When all was said and done, she'd never been closer to anyone else. Her breathing was a bit erratic as she laid there next to him, tangled up in Dallas and the blankets both, and laying half on top of him with her eyes closed. Utterly worn out, the young woman murmured his name softly as she cuddled up to him with a smile on her lips. "Mmm...I love you," she whispered breathlessly, holding onto him tightly even as she fell asleep. In a few minutes, Rowena was sound asleep against her now-lover, her breathing slowly evening out as she relaxed with him. It had been better than anything she could have imagined, mostly because she loved him. Nothing else really seemed to matter in the end, at least to her, and she clung to him while she slept.
The young woman didn't wake up until late the next morning, stretching out with a yawn. Finding herself still in Dallas' arms, she smiled and kissed his jaw, her eyes heavy with sleep still. "Good morning, love," she whispered against his skim, unable to keep herself from smiling. She was just so happy, it felt like it was hard to contain it at all. And besides, why should she even bother to try anyway? There was nothing bad about being happy, especially not after last night, and she kissed him again before sitting up and stretching her sore muscles out again. "I'm going to take a shower," Rowena told him, sliding out of the bed. She was hardly concerned about using his bathroom, after what they'd done in his bed, and padded across the room to the door where the bathroom was.
Turning on the water, Rowena fiddled with the knobs for a few minutes while she got the temperature adjusted to where she wanted it. She liked her water a bit hotter than lukewarm, not liking very hot showers. All they did was dry her skin out and made her hair frizzy as hell once she dried it. Humming softly to herself, happy and content, the human girl stepped into the large shower stall once the water was where she wanted it and turned on the overhead spray rather than the faucet. Letting the water run down her body, a long sigh if pure bless escaped her. She was sore, yes, just a touch more uncomfortable and enough that she noticed it. But it was worth it a thousand times over, she was sure of that, and as she ran her hands through her hair to get it wet all the way through the smile still was on her lips.

☽~☾ Dallas ☽~☾Dallas laid in the bed happily with Rowena against him. His arms were wrapped around her and his fingertips gently brushed over the skin of her back. He chuckled when she snuggled up to him and kissed the top of her head lovingly.
"I love you too."
Dallas closed his eyes and concentrated on Roo's breathing. As it evened out, Dallas began to drift off into sleep as well.
The next morning, Dallas was sleeping soundly when he felt Roo press her lips to his jaw. He groaned, his eyes squeezing shut as he didn't want to wake up. He cracked open his eye to peek at Rowena as she padded into the bathroom and the sight made him groaned again. Now there was no possible way he could stay asleep. Sitting up in bed, Dallas stretched and then noticed that his eyepatch had been tossed off in his sleep. Picking it up gently, Dallas set the eyepatch on his bedside table before he touched his fingers to his scar. The skin was a smooth besides the small bump of the scar tissue. Sitting there, Dallas heard the water turn on and shook his thoughts away.
It had been two months and Roo had still not seen his scar. Now that they were connected in such a way, Dallas knew he had to show her. Getting up, Dallas walked into the bathroom to see Roo standing under the spray of the shower. He smiled before he walked in and came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her as the warm water hit his back.
"Good morning my love. I have something to show you."
Dallas leaned down and kissed the skin of her shoulder, the water spray wetting his hair./size]

While she had heard him come into the bathroom, Rowena hadn't thought he'd get in the shower with her. Why, she didn't really think about it. She guessed it was because she was just going to have to get used to being able to be so intimate with him now and things like walking in the shower with a lover was normal for people to do, she supposed. Well, she wasn't used to 'normal' and started a bit when his arms were suddenly around her. Smiling, she leaned back into him as the spray sent water down over both of them. "Good morning to you too," Rowena said with a short laugh, turning her head to glance at him. The mop of orange hair was darkening in the water, as was her own hair, but she only noticed that briefly before realizing what was different.
"You aren't wearing your eye patch!" she realized in surprise, turning around in his arms to look up at him, surprise obvious on her face. She reached up to slick his hair back and away from his face so she could better see it and tipped her head to the side. "Just as handsome as ever," the young woman pronounced cheerfully, bringing him down for a lingering kiss that she didn't want to end. The glass was steaming up from the hot water, not that she minded, and she pulled away, a bit breathless. She wasn't sure why he was showing it to her now, after so much time, but wasn't going to complain that he trusted her enough to actually let her see.
Tracing his jaw with a fingertip, Rowena looked at him curiously. "What happened...I mean, how did you get it? If you don't mind telling me," she added quickly, sounding embarrassed for asking at all. It really wasn't her business, she knew it had happened long ago and didn't affect her in the least. Still, she had to admit she was curious about it, about anything of his past. He'd never really told her much about his life at all and she wondered if he just didn't want to talk about it or if something bad had happened that he didn't want to share.

☽~☾ Dallas ☽~☾Dallas chuckled when she started at little at his touch, but kept his arms around her. He stood up straight when she realized that he wasn't wearing his eyepatch and loosened his arms as she turned around. He waited patiently, wanting to see what her reaction was before he smiled at her comment. His arms tightened around her as she brought his face down to meet hers for a passionate and lingering kiss. It was hard for him to pull away and let her lips leave his, but he did as he continued to hold her tight to him.
Dallas frowned when Rowena asked about how he had gotten it, a sad expression crossing his face before he caught her hand in his. He kissed her fingertips gently before he kissed her palm and placed it against his cheek. Looking down at her, Dallas took a deep breath.
"I used to be the Crown Prince of my Kingdom with two little sisters and a little brother. I had everything that most people dreamed of having, but I was arrogant and selfish. Because of my rotten attitude, I pissed off a lot of people and eventually I pissed off the wrong person. I stole his vampire mate from him, making her have an affair with me. The lover came after me and ended up killing my entire family. When I faced off with him, he left me with this scar. I left him to die on the ruins of my palace and I suspect that he died there..... Anyways, I didn't want to be King after that and gave up the throne to one of my cousins and good friend of mine. I act as his adviser and that's why I can live the comfortable life I have now."
Dallas looked down sadly at Rowena for a moment before he released her hand and took her up in his arms. He pressed his lips against her in a urgent, but passionate kiss. He held her body tightly against his so there was no space, kissing her for several minutes before he pulled away and rested his forehead against hers.

Seeing his expression change, Rowena regretted asking him and almost told him not to worry about telling her, that she didn't want to know. She watched as he kissed her fingers and then her palm, stroking his cheek a bit after her brought her hand up to it. The water was running down them both and kept her from getting a chill anytime soon, the water was so hot. Listening to his story, her own face fell as she heard the sad tale. She had hoped it was an accident or something of the sort, not something so violent and sad. It was hard - impossible, actually - for her to imagine her lover a selfish an arrogant man, stealing lovers and the like. She just couldn't see him like that at all.
Before she could say anything at all about it, he'd caught her up and was kissing her, hard and passionate. It was like he was afraid she'd disappear from him and her arms went around his neck, her fingers curling up in his hair as she clung to him and kissed him back just as passionately. Rowena was breathless by the time he pulled away, her cheeks flushed, and she looked up at him as he rested his forehand against hers. Hearing his words, she blinked and tipped her head up to catch his lips with hers again. "No one can take me away from you," she promised him softly, looking up at him with big green eyes.
She'd never leave him, or want to leave him. Letting out a soft sigh, the young woman kissed him again, this time letting it linger and be a slow one, building up until she had to pull away. There wasn't any room between them as they stood underneath the shower and she reached up to brush hair away from his face again with a small smile on her lips. "I'll always be with you, Dallas, I promise. I don't ever want to leave you." That was just how it was, she'd never go away from him.

☽~☾ Dallas ☽~☾Dallas shivered when her hands tangled in his hair and he was unwilling to let her go. He felt her lips tickle his as she promised that no one would take her away before she kissed him slowly. He returned the kiss, matching her pace in the build up as his body began to grow excited. He looked sweetly down at her as she brushed hair away from his face and spoke.
"I know love. I know."
Dallas leaned down and kissed her eyelids sweetly before he kissed her cheeks and jaw, finally making his way to her lips. He kissed her sweetly at first before he began to deepen it, his body growing more excited. After a few minutes, Dallas blushed and pulled his lips away.
"Maybe we should shower before my body gets a mind of it's own."
Dallas brushed his lips against Roo's one more time before looking down at her. He didn't want to let her go and he knew that if she got to the point he was at, they wouldn't separate. At this point, Dallas was more concerned about having her safe in his arms than anything else although his body would say otherwise.ஆ I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down,

Rowena could easily feel his body responding to the kissing and knew hers was as well. She could feel herself growing warmer and it wasn't because of the hot water that was trickling down them as they stood under the spray. Smiling up at him when he told her that he knew, she closed her eyes as he leaned down to kiss her again. Feeling his lips go everywhere but her own for a moment, she whimpered a bit before sighing against his mouth as he pressed it to hers. The young woman had to laugh a bit at his blush, knowing her own cheeks were red, and at his words. "I think your body already has a mind of its own," she replied teasingly, bringing him back down for another kiss.
After spending far more time in the shower than was really necessary to wash up, they finally managed to actually clean up and get out. Rowena felt a bit weak in the knees as she got a towel from the rack and leaned her hips against the counter as she dried off, patting her hair dry with a smaller towel and giving him a smile that was more than a little bit satisfied. Taking a few minutes to get her breathing back to normal, the young woman hung up the smaller towel and wrapped the larger one around herself, reaching for a comb to get the tangles out of her hair. "I don't think I've ever enjoyed a shower more," Rowena remarked, just a touch dreamily, as she looked over at him with a smile.
Finished with her hair, Rowena stretched a bit and padded back into his bedroom. Looking around, she grabbed up her dirty clothes and looked back over to him over her shoulder. "I'm going to go get dressed," she called to him. It seemed a bit silly, having to go to another room to change, but it wasn't as if she'd moved her things into his bedroom at this point anyway. So she took herself back to her room, tossing her dirty things in the hamper and pulling out clothes to wear. It was cold, so she settled on heavier things, tugging her boots on after all was said and done. Leaving her hair loose, the young woman jogged back down the hall to Dallas' room to look for him.

☽~☾ Dallas ☽~☾Dallas smiled and chuckled at her comment before he was pulled down for another kiss. He knew that things weren't going to end there and pushed Roo up against the wall of the shower before he lost himself completely in her.
After finally being clean, Dallas watched as Roo leaned against the counter to support herself and chuckled. He grabbed a towel and tossed it through his hair a few times before being to dry his body with it. Finally, he wrapped the towel around his waist as he looked at Roo. She was combing her hair out and he gazed at her lovingly. After a moment, he walked over to Roo and began to kiss along her neck as he heard her comment about enjoying the shower. Chuckling, Dallas kissed her cheek before he stood up straight once again.
"I'm glad you found it so enjoyable. We'll have to have more showers like that."
Dallas waited until she was done with her hair before leaning down and giving her a light kiss before he picked up the comb and began to get the tangles out of his own hair. He heard Rowena as she called to him, letting him know she was going to get dressed.
"It's more fun when you aren't!"
Dallas chuckled before he headed back into his room and got dressed quickly. He began to clean up, tossing his dirty clothes from the night before along with his towel into the hamper. When Rowena came back into the room, he took her into his arms gently and lightly before giving her a sweet kiss.
"What do you want to do today love?"ஆ I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down,
