Oh, what a pretty toy you have! I can't wait until it's mine.
"Is there anything that could be taught? I mean, i don't know what your ability IS, so i don't know particularly how futile my request is either. How do you know who they are inside? is that your power? Or is there another way to know?" She both wondered and asked. She pulled out what looked like a drinking straw, and an ornate oriental fan. The straw, she had seen, didn't actually use up the liquid you drank through it. its previous owner had died of obesity. She had kept the straw at an arms length after seeing the ridiculously hulking obese corpse she had found nearby it. Needless to say, she didn't want it. The fan, she had tried hanging on her wall... but the thing had literally followed her. Ever since she put it on the wall it wouldn't do anything at all for her. But every time she tried to get rid of the damned thing it tornadoed the hell out whatever room it was in and followed her. She had had the thing hidden before, but she thought maybe he could clarify what the ******** it wanted.
What do you mean Illegal? Oh, you mean that i have to be stealthy. Got it.

 I run but never walk. I have hands but no arms to see. "Well there is some I can teach most of which are simple tricks and guesses that anyone can do. Like with the locket I looked at the pictures and noticing that in each pair one person is always wearing it helped me assume that one is always an owner and the other is connected to that person due to being in the locket with them. So that is me guessing mostly however it is what I can tell with my power as well so the guess is correct. However without my power i could not tell what the chrome egg could do. I would assume it had something to do with ice due to the chill on the surface but other than that I would have needed to do extensive trial and error with it to discern what it did. To put it simply part of my power is simply knowing what artifacts can do and the other part is being able to rapidly force bond with them, basically allowing me to use an artifact effectively quickly. This bond is rather short term though since it is a forced one and generally if I force an artifact that dislikes me it will dislike me more," Felix explained thoroughly. "So what I can teach I think to some degree you already have albeit I can teach you how to utilize the skills you already have to see what you need to see," He said before he started to look over the other items. He looked over the straw and chuckled after a few seconds. "This one is a funny one. It could be considered a cursed item or a tool for punishment. I say this due to how fickle it is. This is one of the items I would need my power to figure out. It is capable of a few things one thing if it chooses to punish you and one thing if it chooses to help you. If it chooses to punish you it will curse you with gluttony as long as it is in your possession. If it chooses to help you however it can keep you hydrated even in the driest desert. Though it doesn't suck liquid when you try to drink from it when it chooses to you it will have an infinite supply of water to drink within," he explained holding the straw in his hand. He then sat the straw down and picked the fan looking it over next. "Now this fan is a very troublesome thing by the looks of it. I mean hell it has the kanji for fierce wind on it. Based on that and the overall design of the fan I believe it is capable of great wind abilities. That I can tell without my powers though I can tell with my powers that this fan is quite fond of you," He said handing it back to her.

"If it quote on quote 'likes' me, then why does it not work whenever i've tried to use it?" She asked out loud, looking the fan over. "Alrighty, so how much would you estimate lessons from you would cost?" She asked him. It sounded a little less promising then she had originally thought, and yet it still would be highly beneficial, she was sure. "Also, if people are attacking magic shops, i'd rather not leave the bulk of my cargo outside. Is there somewhere i could store it safely?" She had so many other things she would have wanted to show him, but it would surely get annoying if she kept doing it. on a one at a time basis. "When you have time i'd like you to look in the trailors and see if there's anything you WOULD like to buy. I'm still nervous about having it out there too long, though."
What do you mean Illegal? Oh, you mean that i have to be stealthy. Got it.

I run but never walk. I have hands but no arms to see. Felix stood up and walked over to a shelf and pulled off a pair of glasses. He walked back over to her and handed them to her. "The fan is much like these for me. You see these don't do a whole lot aside from letting one see lines of connection between people. Yet for the life of me at first it would never work. In time I was simply keeping them near me and one day after cleaning them they began working. Honestly to this day I am still confused as to why it started to work however I like to think it had to do with the regular cleanings and attention i gave them," He explained as he picked the fan back up. "Now for this I would say it probably wants just some attention from you and it will become one of your biggest allies," He said handing it back to her as he took back the glasses. "As for lessons I could give them for free if you say help me out around the shop every now and then," He said thinking about it. He opened up a drawer from behind the desk and pulled out a key. "This key is for a storage unit I have where you can store those items if you need to. It is mostly empty however it is under watch by a gargoyle so I don't really mind letting people in," He said handing her the key.

"Thank you very much" She said to the man. "Then i would be perfectly glad to help out. what kind of help would you be wanting?" She asked. It was probably a good time to cool off of hunting anyways with politics and everything going on. She had to hit the ruins, but that would require one less flying behemoth and for her to finish unloading her cargo. She took the fan back and ran her hand along it. "How exactly does one properly maintain a fan such as this, anyways?"

I run but never walk. I have hands but no arms to see. Felix smiled and stretched a bit. "Helping out is simple just come in every so often say like 2 or 3 days a week at least and sit here help customers and handle the register, money, and merchandise. Basically do my job for a few days a week so I can maybe one sleep more, two get a hold of a few items in town I have been eying, and three able to have some form of social life. Frankly this store is nice but seeing as I am here most of the day every day it gets kinda maddening," He said chuckling a bit at the end. "Seeing as you have had some experience in dealing with artifacts even if only minimal that is a good start. Simply helping out around here and interacting with the artifacts will help you learn about what they do and how to almost feel an artifact's 'heart'. It takes time but anyone can get a vague feeling when they are around them long enough, how long depends on each person," He explained pretty calmly. He stood up and walked around the counter leaning against the side of it as he continued. "I would still stick around for the first couple times you are here to help out at first but once you got the hang of things I would be out and about but a call away, tip bring a book," he said chuckling again. "As for the fan......Google?" He said shrugging his shoulders.

"You have a deal, then. When do i start?" Alyson asked. She liked the idea of learning how to better work with these, and here was the best place to sell her goods. In the end it was win, win. "Is it that boring?" She asked when he talked about the book. She put the fan in its sheath. "Can you accompany me to the storage area?"

Natalia walked into the room through the front door. She seemed to emit a slight glow from her skin. "I need you to bring my armor back. Cleaned please. I'm kinda stuck here naked and i've got somewhere i need to be.

I run but never walk. I have hands but no arms to see. "You can start as soon as you want perhaps today if you wish and yes it is that boring some days," Felix said sullenly. Felix stopped before continued to responded to Alyson due to Natalia's sudden appearance. "Umm yea about that your armor is still filthy and I will be getting to cleaning it shortly. Hell I could do it albeit I don't know why i would need to bring it since you are here," He said picking the back back up from behind the counter. "Ok so I am gonna go get these things cleaned and be right back to show you the storage place," He said looking at Alyson. "As for you I suppose wait here I will be back with your stuff," He said to Natalia. He then turned around and headed upstairs.

"cool. thank you so much. I'll go get the car warmed up. I'll also totally be willing to work once we drop this crap off!" Alyson said, excitedly. She practically skipped as she walked through the outer wall of the shop to her car.

I run but never walk. I have hands but no arms to see. Felix went up to his bathroom on the third floor where he pulled out the pieces of armor and placed them in his tub. They reeked horribly still and he could barely stop himself from gagging due to the sudden stink. He opened the cabinet above the sink and pulled out what looked like a statue of a woman with a pot. "Alright Water Bearer time to work your magic," He said to himself as he held it over the tub. As he did water began to pour out of the pot and as it washed over the armor it cleaned it rapidly. "Such a simple item but so useful at times like this," He said as it finished up and the water washed all the impurities down the drain. The armor looked like it was brand new. He then put the statue away and replaced the armor inside the bag and then headed back downstairs.
"Alright cleaned up and ready for you to take," He said to her as he got back down there.

"This body is made of electricity, and is only able to take magnetic objects with it. That bodes well for most of my armor, however i'm not sure about the piece you gave me. I seem to recall you promising a second piece as well. I know for sure that the interior lining of the armor is not transportable by this body, however, so i would appreciate it if you could drop it off? Thank you much for helping me escape, by the way. I don't approve of the method, however i do recognize its efficiency. I have half a mind to kick your a** for what you've seen alone, though, and i'm not happy with the idea of a man seeing me in that state." Natalia said when Felix got back..

Also about the whole method frankly I don't really care. Not like you have anything appealing to me lady I like guys. So I suppose the proper choice now is to thank me for saving your a**, cleaning your armor perfectly, and giving you two free artifacts," He said with his usual attitude non-work. "So I take it you are back where I left you?" He asked.

"Still, it's a lot for a girl to get passed. I wouldn't have asked you to clean my armor if i could have gotten out of this bed and still been decent. The artifact thing you said you'd do. I would have payed. Still. Thank you.... I still have the irrational urge to hit you. But i do appreciate what you've done." Natalia said. "and yeah. I'm back in that other shop where they laid me down."

Anyway alright I will be over there drop off the armor then I have to show a person to my stash," Felix said to her with a smirk. He then headed out the door and over to the shop to give the armor to her.
