 Aurora Yuki Hatake Aurora stopped her jumping about to listen to her sensei describe what the party would be like. She was perplexed as to what a ball was seeing as she’d never been to one, but when he said that there would be dancing and singing she got excited once more but was confused by some of his words. “Sensei, what’s a vagabond? And what’s a…grandiose?” she asked. She was also curious why he spun at the end of his speech but didn’t question it. She looked towards the other two Jonin and wondered something. “If there are going to be other Genin…does that mean they’re from your teams that you’re in charge of or will they be random Genin?” she asked no one in particular but was just curious.

Zael reached into his pocket to retrieve a cigarette. After lighting it and placing it between his teeth, he breathed in deeply, knowing the tar of the tobacco would be the only thing that got him through this event. For the first time he laid eyes upon the young girl, the jounin didn't blush or turn away. His gaze was soft, but very defining and somewhat intimidating. Hell, it was downright frightening.
"I don't enjoy parties," Zael answered with his silkly, low voice. His golden eyes shimmered in the late afternoon sun and they seemed to glow an unearthly aura. He took the cigarette out of his mouth and blew a puff of smoke and exhaled heavily. The last time he went to a party... Zael felt his heart jump to his throat, but he held down the sudden need to wince at the choking sensation. The only hint that suggested what he was thinking was his crestfallen gaze that met the ground and the way his back was hunched over more than usual. Going to parties meant you needed a partner, right? The jounin wasn't very well educated on the subject, but he believed that to be so. Zael didn't want to speak to anyone but her. He didn't want to argue humorously with anyone but her. He didn't want to dance with anyone but her. To him, parties were nothing but heartache.
Zael was removed from his dark thoughts and his eyebrow twitched in annoyance when Ruri'iro rejected his own rejection. Ironically. When the Yukikage claimed that 'we must look our best', Zael scoffed and placed the cigarette back between his teeth and shut his eyes. "Anything to wear a dress, eh, pretty boy?" Zael gave Ruri'iro a taunting smirk, but it somehow seemed different than his other half-smiles. It could either be more sincere or more counterfeit, even Zael couldn't tell. Zael's composure immediately disappeared upon watching the Yukikage pull a dance move in the middle of a frozen desert in front of his subordinates. Zael's jaw nearly dropped to the ground and his fists were trembling at his sides. Do I really work under this moron?!
Zael pointed angrily at the Yukikage. "No! There's no way in hell I'm going to a party with a bunch of other villages with some... some... some girly idiot!" Zael yelled comedically. "They'll make a fool of us after seeing you dance! Hell no! I won't be mocked for working under you, you damned pretty boy!" Despite his harsh words, Zael honestly felt that way. If he was forced to go to a party he didn't give a damn about, then there wasn't a chance in the world he'd have to represent an idiotic Yukikage like him! Zael's cheeks were already a little red from embarrassment from imagining how the villages would see theirs. Zael paused his frantic ranting when he suddenly got a brilliant idea. "Why don't the villages fight to the death?" Zael spoke with an innocent, unbeknownst tone and hit his fist against his palm. He would much rather have Ruri'iro fight than dance, and he would rather fight than dance any day, as well.

Issho, to be honest, had no idea to what to expect. His mind was wandering, his thoughts trying to pin down an adequate reason as to why the Yukikage would want him, of all people, to appear at the Training Grounds. Issho had to admit that he did not think he was that special. He was an orphan, in his eyes, nothing more. An orphan who, for some odd reason, could transform parts of his body into smoke. Still an orphan. An orphan who graduated the academy after just a few years, much quicker than most shinobi of the village. But still an orphan. Issho sighed as his feet took him closer and closer to the place he was told to appear at. Truth be told, although he was finally used to the cold of the Snow Village, he was intrigued as to what other villages were out there. The young boy had never been anywhere else, and the only information he knew about the world outside Yukigakure was found in books. A spark of hope lit up in Issho's heart. Maybe I'm going on a mission? Honestly, the academy graduation thing had made Issho quite famous around the village; many shinobi were excited about the kid's potential, and he had more than his fair share of interviews and dinners asking about his genius. He was called a prodigy, a genius, the future kage. Maybe this was a mission and a chance for him to prove his worth in the real shinobi world.
A bit hopeful, Issho picked up his pace a bit. His ears perked up as he heard shouting in the distance. Something about girly idiot. Something like that. It was only a few seconds more before the genin had arrived at his destination, and he was somewhat surprised to see the Yukikage himself, along with three other unknown shinobi. One appeared to be a few years younger than Issho; the other two, if Issho had to guess, were higher ranking shinobi. Looks like I came a bit late to the party.
Raising an eyebrow, Issho took a few more steps before making his presence known. "Ahem...Umm, Yukikage sir, I was told to be here. Can you tell me why?" The boy's voice was calm and lax, and the expression on his face was quite laid-back. He had expected others to notice the numerous tattoos he had on his face and arms, for that was usually the first thing people commented on. Most were blue, some were black, and none were too eye-catching or distracting enough to take away from Issho's face. No, the amount of tattoos the boy had was just right, he had to say. It wasn't overbearing, thank god.
Issho moved his hazel eyes to scan his company and, he assumed, fellow Yukigakure shinobi. He scanned them over quickly; the boy was accustomed to moving his eyes pretty quickly, and he was able to take a lot in withi a short period of time. It had allowed him to speed read pretty well, and it proved useful during his Academy exams and exercises. The group, Issho also expected, would also notice the large gourd the boy had on his back. Truth be told, it was an odd addition to the genin's appearance, but it didn't seem completely out of place. Surely, it would attract questions from the group soon enough, but Issho was more worried about his reason for being here. As of now, though, the whole thing did, indeed, look like a mission.

Kaisai nodded listening very closely to Ruri'iro and was quiet and thought about the level of the trap he could make although his mind already had something made in his mind which was not complicated and perfectly fine for a genin......If they were on prodigy level. Kasai tapped back in to reality describing the ball a little on how the ball would be and then spun at the end of his description showing his talents for the art of dancing which Kasai clapped "Hai Ruri'iro-sama, Our village will be known for our strong Yukikage that is also a very well dancer." Kasai said before turning his attention to the little red headed genin "Well pretty much a Vagabond is homeless person with no job or settled home thus the homeless part and Grandiose.......well you definition is Ruri'iro-sama impressive or magnificent in appearance." Kasai finished yawning a bit feeling like a nap was going to be in today's schedule, Kasai already nodding off was woken by Zael's yelling talking about working for a mad man and what not "Zael-san, Insulting Ruri'iro-sama will get you no where.......Well maybe at the hospital but initially that would not be an ideal place to be during this 'Ball of the Villages'.......That and I would like a little quiet for nap so calm down." Kasai said in lazy voice his eyes half lidded ready to be closed and go into a dream world with clouds and money with Sake. Kasai peeked his eyes open hearing a new voice seeing another genin he quickly made his assumption/observation before humming {Young people these days.......Always getting having strange markings} Kasai thought to himself "Please save you energy take a seat and relax." Kasai said before closing his eyes again "........It only matters if the job is done."

Thoughts: Zael.....*facepalm*
Chakra: 70%%.The effeminate Yukikage sighed when Zael literally blew his lid, saying that people will make a fool of him after they see the Kage dance. Sometimes his Jounin makes him so angry. He completely ignored the fact Zael asked if he was going to wear a dress in favor of that other comment. Before he could say anything though, Kasai interfered, which was good for him because otherwise it could of ended badly. Regaining his composure, Ruri'iro waited until his fellow clan member was done talking before he decided to put his two cents in, raising a finger up as if to imitate a know it all professor teaching a student the wrongs of his answer.
"Simply put Zael, it would be bad form for us to fight the other villages to the death. We may be strong, but the other villages are stronger and have been around longer. They will beat us if we decide to go on the warpath, which is not my intentions in the first place. What you don't understand Zael, is that the role of Yukikage is more than being the strongest in your village. I have to think of the villages future when making my decisions. And right now, going to war is not even a remote possibility. We need allies to keep our village growing, not enemies that will destroy it."
It was the truth. Ruri'iro knows his village isn't ready for war, not just yet. Besides, he's trying to build a peaceful future for the residents of the Land of Snow.

Aurora Yuki Hatake Aurora was slightly frightened by Zeal’s words about wanting a war and wanting to fight. “But…I don’t want to fight. I’d rather try to settle things with words than fists.” She said softly. She had seen what can happen when people don’t talk and fight it out. It never ended well and it had taken her adoptive father from her and her real family. She then turned towards Kaisai when he answered her questions. “Oh…I see. I agree with you. Ruri’iro sensei is magnificent.” She smiled towards the blonde jonin when she heard him say he also didn’t want a war. “Kaisai-kun, why are you so tired?” she asked. She could tell he didn’t want to be disturbed and regretted asking. She heard a new voice and looked over to see a young boy about her age-ish. “Oh hello, what is you name?” she asked while she listened to her sensei tell Zeal that there would be no fighting against the other villages. Oh thank goodness. I really don’t want another war in my life tearing my friends and new little family apart. She did notice the other kid’s tattoos but didn’t comment though she wanted to. She wondered what they meant.

Kasai with his eyes still closed listened to Ruri'iro talk about how as a Leader he must think about the village and instead of fighting other villages it would be better and in the interest of Yukigakure to ally themselves with the greater nations....Or something along those lines. Kasai nodded "Wise words Ruri'iro-sama, I would expect nothing less from you." Kasai said cracking his eyes open looking over to the Red Head in the corner of his eye "I'm not tired......I just like to conserve energy in case of emergencies......Uh, Little one." Kasai said not knowing her name decided to call her what he would call most before his attention again turned to the new arrival as he could only look at him with a lazy observation. "........It only matters if the job is done."

Issho eyes scanned his company; everybody in the village knew Ruri'iro, the Yukikage. He had a very distinct look about him, and that would make him a fairly prominent figure if it wasn't already for his title as kage. The boy had heard the tall blond man addressing the other tall man - and, presumably, other higher ranking shinobi - as Zael. It wasn't long after than before the red-haired young girl addressed the blond man as Kaisai. Well, at least our introductions won't be that long. The boy perked his head up a little once he realized that he was being addressed to. He gave Aurora a smile. "My name is Issho." The boy was expecting the three to recognize his name, though he wasn't sure; he was sure, though that a lot of people in the village viewed him as a celebrity because of his short stint at the academy.
Issho wondered why exactly the group of shinobi was talking about war and fighting, but he doubted it was important. If there was going to be any kind of war, the village would have known by now. The boy, however, did brighten up once he heard the Yukikage mention the other villages. Was it a possibility that Ruri'iro was going to make contact with the other hidden villages? Issho stayed quiet. He still had no idea what he was doing here with the Yukikage, a young girl, and two jounin.

Aurora Yuki Hatake Aurora smiled sweetly towards Issho. "Nice too meet you, I'm Aurora." she said warmly and held out her hand towards him. She was fairly new to the village but his name sounded vaguely fimilar. "Are you a genin as well?" she asked. Aurora looked back towards Kasai but still had her hand held out towards Issho. "What kind of emergencies? Like...an attack on the village kind of thing or...?" she wondered. She heard him call her little one and it made her scrunch her face a bit, she didn't like to be called little. "Sempei, my name is Aurora Yuki Hatake. And someday, my name will be know across the lands!" she said in pumped her right fist into the air.

Zael clenched his fists as that damned Kasai suggested insulting Ruri'iro wouldn't help and would have him end up in the hospital. Zael produced a very strained sneer at the comment and he gnased his teeth, holding back the need to kill the man. It was quite true. Zael didn't give a damn who he killed and this was proven when he had tried to kill the Yukikage years ago. He was training for that very purpose presently: he was going to kill the Yukikage under any means necessary. The only problem was that he wasn't strong enough, yet. However, he was going to get there and murder that man. Kasai would be next in line and he would be dealt with easily.
Zael's sneer twitched in anger and he spoke low and threateningly, "Oi, oi... Kasai-kun," Zael put stress on the ending formality and cracked his fists. "I don't give a damn if you want to 'nap'. Don't think for a second I give a damn about you at all. As far as I care, you can take a nap in Hell." Zael was an untamed beast that would fight any who pissed him off. Zael was honestly thinking about murdering the man, but when Ruri'iro spoke, his heart seemed to let up a little. It had been pounding angrily in his ears, but as soon as the Yukikage opened his mouth, his voice was able to calm the jounin. There was something about pretty boy that Zael couldn't put his finger on. Zael exhaled softly and shut his eyes, figuring it funny how Ruri'iro took him seriously on the matter of fighting to the death.
Actually, he found it funny how everyone took him so seriously, but his cheeks flustered a bit when the red-headed young girl claimed that she'd rather settle things with words than fists. Zael scoffed, but he somewhat enjoyed hearing that statement, despite the fact he was ready to rip apart Kasai. Something about the girl radiated peace and tranquility and Zael began to simmer down entirely. He placed his large hand on her head and ruffled her hair in the most gentle manner Zael had ever had. He was looking down at her with an unreadable expression, but any skilled socially inclined person would be able to tell that he was happy more than anything. He lifted his hand almost immediately upon placing it down and he turned away and noticed someone new walk in.
Zael raised his eyebrow quizzically at the boy's tattoos, but thought nothing of it. Everyone had their own style, right? Zael found the boy somewhat interesting and he smirked, shutting his eyes. However, any stares he was giving the boy were interrupted when the young girl introduced herself to Kasai. Actually, it was more like she was introducing herself to the world and she claimed that one day her name would be famous. Zael's eyes widened slightly at the sight. This was the new generation? Perhaps Yukigakure had some hope after all.

Issho took Aurora's hand and shook it; his face, however, held a somewhat amused look at the genin's response to the Kasai calling her 'little one.' She has a lot of ambition, at least. Issho, at least, finally found out her name, and seeing that the girl was a genin, eased up a bit. "Yea, I'm a genin. Fresh out the academy." It was now obvious that the two jounin had known the young red-haired girl pretty well. Issho's dulled eyes took a look at Zael. Was he the one yelling earlier? The boy wanted to ask, but he quickly lost interest in the matter. He was more interested in the somewhat malicious nature the two older shinobi addressed each other with. "I take it you guys are best friends?" Issho smirked a bit at his sarcastic comment, his eyes still on Zael. It wasn't meant to offend so much as it was to give the boy a laugh, and the boy wasn't usually known for being worried about what he said.

Kasai gave Zael a lazy glare from his earler outburst before letting it go to lazy to try and keep it, Instead Kasai turned his attention to Aurora "I save it for things like that yes....." Kasai said before commenting on her latter response "I'm sure your name will be known across the lands......But for now you shall be deemed Little one-chan or maybe Little-chan?" Kasai asked himself but before he could dwell upon the thought to much more he turned to the new kid that had came in Issho he had said "Issho-san.....Being his Best friend would be to energy consuming.......and I believe by now I would have killed him in his sleep surely by now." Kasai said with a nod fully awake now not being able to get a nap....there is always later "........It only matters if the job is done."

Aurora Yuki Hatake Aurora closed her eyes when Zeal ruffled her hair. She smiled and laughed softly as he did and after brushed her hair back into place with her hand. She turned to look back at Kasai and stuck her tongue out playfully. “I’m not little…” she said and put her hands on her hips in defiance. “My name will someday be know…but for now I’ll do my best to protect those I love.” She beamed. She looked back towards Issho and listened to his and Kasai’s conversation. “But...why would you kill him?” she asked. She never understood the point of killing people just for the hell of it. Her eyes moved to Zeal once more and noticed that something dark was hidden inside. Did he truly want to hurt her Sensei or was he bluffing?

Zael had an incessant frown on his face when he turned towards the red-headed girl. However, it was light and that showed he wasn't truly angry at her. It was just his constant expression. "Don't worry, Aurora-chan," Zael spoke in a low, calm manner and then smirked. "He wouldn't be able to kill me even in my sleep. Plus, that's a pretty cowardly way to kill someone, wouldn't you agree?" It was mostly a rhetorical question, but he half-expected the girl to answer due to her innocence. Zael was getting quite angry how she prefered her name rather than little one, but Kasai refused to call her that. Despite his nature, Zael adored children and taking advantage of that would send the jounin teetering over the edge of a murderous rampage.
When the new kid asked if Zael and Kasai were best friends, Zael wasn't sure how to respond. Before he could give any thought to it, he was laughing in a very dark manner and one hand was holding his cigarette and the other was holding his stomach. It was possibly the most evil laughter anyone ever heard coming from (suggestedly) one of the nice guys. It came from deep within his throat, which only meant it could last so long. He choked on it for a second and coughed into his fist, regaining his composure. The smile on the striped-face boy's face also showed Zael that he had been sarcastic and the jounin couldn't help but like that sense of humor. It did make him laugh, after all. Zael immediately went over to squeeze his shoulder encouragingly, a smirk still lingering on his lips underneath his winter scarf.
"I didn't catch your name," Zael implied, as he was too busy cursing at Kasai when he revealed it. "And do you know which squad you belong to?"

Kasai watched Aurora which were a little funny if anyone had asked "To me you are little......Everyone in this field is little to me" Kasai pointing out what he thought was the obvious everyone was small compared to him he just so happened to point it out to Aurora before another question came from Aurora "There are only two reasons I would kill Zael-san......No three reasons: If he became a threat to mission, Became a threat to Ruri'iro -sama......third and last of all he erupts my naps. Seeing as he has only broken one of the three reason I'll let him live." Kasai said with a nod before Zael began to speak "Eh, Zael-san there is no right or wrong way to kill a person as long as the mission done correctly you can kill them anyway." Kasai said with an irritable sigh {Note to self: Make sure Zael takes his medicine} Kasai thought to himself as Zael began laughing at something that he didn't think was really funny "........It only matters if the job is done."
