There was a shuffling on the other side of her pole. Siska stopped breathing. The world stopped turning. The creature poked it's head around the pole and Siska lost it. She let out a loud scree and round-house kicked it in terror filled self defense.
The creature was no more.
Our hero has prevailed.

Relieved to finally be done with that creature, Siska fled. Where there was one, there was bound to be more, and she'd rather find someone to partner with and fight on a united front than battle the unknown alone.

The bug? couldnt care less from what Jing could see, as it stared at a shiny thimble.

The flyswatter was at least to Jing, far less lethal than a arrow to the eye, and it was going to have to do. "please vacate this home!" he raised his voice at the silent beast, and began hitting it on the head.
A solid twack that rang around the tents cotton walls.

Chasing it under another pile of clothes was not the smart idea.
Now Jing was chasing a creature shadow wearing a frilly dress.

The chase did not end there as Jing continued his pursuit, running into another pile of clothes and reappearing in some type of school uniform from the halloween residents. A student that never returned for his outfit.
All in all, it fit quite well on him.
"Stop or....... i'll give you detention!"

The horseboil was seriously regretting the chase into the early autumn fashion, when beach wear was still possible and the weather was not too chilly.
Right now it was not early autumn weather, running around in tiny boil shorts was not the best thing. "For heaven's sake, run into another set of clothes, QUICK!"

Much to Jing own relief, it was crossing back over on tiny feet, past his normal outfit that in retrospect, should have taken longer to put on.
But the magic of clothing makeovers was with the horseboil then. fully clothed and still armed with the fly swatter the beast had a mighty smack and was sent careening out of the tent and down toward the lair.
"uh oh, thats probably bad." it was time to go stop it before it got out of hand.
little did jing know, he was fashionably late to that party already.

Mmur had very nearly woken up at least six times now, but the noises around him never seemed quite dire enough for him to finish the job. Instead, he curled into his tarp and murmured something about destroying all humans before drifting off again. It was only after something ate his tarp right out from under him that he deemed it time to do something about this little shadow infestation.
With a menacing and thoroughly uncharacteristic growl, the horseman jumped through the portal and into the Lair.
