That was a bit of a relief. At least now he didn't have to worry about having to watch what he was cooking. Relaxing a bit he listened happily as she spoke.
"I'd say..the Falls of Felore. The gentle sounds of the falls echoing into the giant lake below is very melodic and mysterious." he says gently. "I've been to Greylyn..I had to go into the cavern to look for a certain mushroom to cure a sick child. Man that place was crazy, though you are right when it makes you get in touch with your senses. It also makes you realize how alone you are as well."
Getting up he pulled out the carrot cake he had made, and allowed it to cool. Once it was ready he made a delicious icing and came out with a slice. "I'm not sure if you want carrot cake, or have room but I've got some if you'd like a piece." he said with a smile then frowned a bit.
"You alright? You look a bit uncomfortable?" he asked with concern.

He had been to Greylyn too?! This man was full of surprises, not many would even dare to go into there or even make it. He must of been tougher then he was making out to be. Or the task at hand gave him strength, either way she was impressed by this. Heck everything he was saying was impressing her.
Her nose went wild again as she smelled the cake scent bellow from the oven, "yes I'd love cake!! I've not had cake since I was a little girl!" she beamed but stopped, this wasn't like her to be all smiley.. she couldn't work it out, maybe it was he cheery influence bringing it out of her
"oh.. I am a little.. his chair hurts my tail a little.. I guess this town doesn't cater for rabbit women" she snickered as she took a first bite of the carrot cake. Cecilia chewed it slowly so all the flavors could wash round her mouth "mmmmmm"

"Well we can move to a more comfortable spot if you'd like." he said blushing slightly at her sudden burst of joy. It caught Basil off guard, this woman was full of surprises. "You've got a cute smile, you should smile more Cecilia." he winks collecting the dishes then vanishes into the kitchen once again to wash them, and put away any leftovers.
It felt so odd, here he was in a house with a pregnant woman. Smiling he was happy for some strange reason. Once he finished he yawned a bit. "Well thanks again for saving me Cecilia. I'm going to lay down for a bit on the couch. If you want anymore cake, there's some in the kitchen, help yourself to it." he says sweetly vanishing into the small living room.
He was a bit more tired than he thought he was, and soon fell asleep upon her couch.

Cecilia had another piece of cake, just because it was to die for! The raisins, the bits of grated carrot and the yummy frosting, it was just too yummy not to have another bit. She really couldn't remember the last time she had cake, that's she guessed it was her childhood. Back then her mother would make strange herbal muffins from the local plants in the forest.
After licking her fingers and plate clean of all the yummy goodness, she took a peek into the living room. He seemed out of it pretty quickly, Cecilia just smiled and put a spare blanket over him in case he got cold "I hope you sleep well, she whispered" Seeing as there was nothing to do, and the only company in the house was sound asleep she decided to take a nap. Her room was very bare, only all her old armor placed on a mannequin in front of the bed. It had to be kept like that if it wasn't worn for months on end, also it made her feel more at home. Climbing into bed, Cecilia fell asleep, thinking about everything that happened in the day.

((hmmmm...yeah that's true. ))
Basil awoke that evening, and after a bit of recollection of his thoughts he remembered what had happened to him. Slowly getting up he yawned and stretched. After a bit of exploration he found her sleeping soundly in her bed. Watching Cecilia sleeping for a bit he smiled warmly. She was pretty cute for a mysterious bunny girl.
Quietly walking into the kitchen, he began to cook them something for dinner. Since she said not to worry about cooking with meat, Basil had decided to make a couple steaks. She probably hadn't had much of the foods she needed in her diet, and he worried about her, and her baby, a bit.

The smell of the meat cooking hit her nose as she slept, Cecilia was dreaming of very random things. Mainly nightmares of being as big as the women she saw earlier that day! She dreaded being that big and hoped there wasn't twenty or something growing inside her tummy.
As the smell intensified it made her stomach churn, and not in a good way. Instantly she woke up, running past the kitchen at great speed to reach the toilet where she had to throw up. It was a horrible feeling, burning all up her wind pipe. Her body was even trying to puke when there was nothing left in her tummy, which only made her rib cage hurt badly.
After her body seemed to calm down, Lissria flushed the toilet and sat hugged at the bowl, sobbing softly.

Basil was caught by surprise when she suddenly dashed past him, almost dropping the plates he held in his hands. Setting them down upon the table he frowned sadly hearing her vomit loudly. Slowly walking over, Basil knelt down and was now gently massaging her back.
"Hey...you going to be alright? Do you need me to do anything for you Cecilia?" he asked her in a soothing and gentle tone. Basil hadn't really thought about it, but pregnant women usually had sickness. He bit his lip feeling a bit guilty now making steak. The chef would have to find out what foods she could eat and figure out how sensative her pallate was before making anything else.
"I'm sorry..it was my food wasn't it? I'm not used to cooking for a pregnant woman..I'll be carefull next time." he said pulling some of the hair back from her and still rubbing her back gently incase she had to throw up some more.

She wiped her mouth on a bit of toilet paper, looking very pale still. "I'm fine...." Cecilia panted, trying to her her breath back, but breathing did hurt at that point. "Just... strong foody smells sometimes makes me sick.... a woman told me it'll pass... I really hope it does" she sighed, looking up at him "I'd feel bad you cooking all this nice things and me throwing it up... heck, I feel bad about it now..." She felt like hugging him as a thank you, but thought he probably wouldn't like it, seeing as she was only sick a few moments ago. "thank you though... I really mean it.." Cecilia did want a favor, but felt bad in wanting to ask. So her ears flopped as she spoke.. "Can I.... have a glass of water please? you don't have to.. I'm not asking as a slave thing.. I just want to sit still..." she felt really awkward asking him, she didn't want him to feel like a servant or a slave. This cities set up was really bugging her..

Basil gently hugged her for a moment. "Shhh..it's ok I understand...it'll pass. I'm not mad..if anything it helps to know what foods not to cook so you won't throw up." he cooed gently looking into her eyes.
Seeing her ears flop and the way she awkwardly asked him for some water he just smiled. "Think of it this way..I'm your friend, friend's help each other out. Cecilia, don't ever think I hate helping you because I don't! I care about you, and the baby within you, a glass of water I can handle believe me." he chuckles getting to his feet and heading into the kitchen.
Returning with a glass of water Basil gently hands it to her and pats the top of her head now scratching behind one of her ears. "Do you feel guilty? You keep mentioning the slave thing. Look I owe you my life, I might have been stuck with someone worse if you hadn't shown up. Don't sweat it, we all need some help. My shoulder, and myself are here when you need it. As I said I care about you Cecilia. I'm not going to just ignore you if you're in pain." he said softly.
Taking a seat next to her he looked at her smiling warmly. "That goes for when you're ready to labor too, later on when you're due. I'll be honest, I have a small crush on you, but that's not why I'm helping you. You were impregnated and abandoned, my heart is telling me to help you. I expect nothing in return, but a smile. Weather you're comfortable with it or not, our paths have crossed and I'm the type of person who always lends a hand. So weather you like it or not you're stuck with me!" winking at her cheerfully Basil allows his honesty to fall out of him again. Oddly he could be honest around her, he just hoped he hadn't creeped her out with confessing he had a crush on her.

She was so thankful for the water, her throat was all sore and had icky bit of digested food stuck down it. Swallowing some of the water and sloshing it around her mouth before spitting it out felt out better indeed. It helped the horrible aftertaste go away much quicker. "thank you for that.. I really needed it" she smiled, placing the empty glass in the floor next to her, she would pick it up later. "I really do like steak.. honestly.. it's so yummy! But I guess this one in here won't let me enjoy it right now" she snickered..
The rub to her ear felt lovely, it even made her left foot twitch like a real rabbit would. Her feet were not like a humans.. they looked as though they were in heels permanently, so she was basically walking on the balls of her feet all the time. But that's just how they were, it helped her to run at great speeds. Other then that they looked pretty normal, besides only having three toes too. Each with their own claw. It really explained her weird taste in shoes. "I shouldn't feel guilty.. your right. You seem quite chilled out here, I guess I was worrying too much about it... your welcome to stay here as long as you want, this is your home too now."
Cecilia was touched the way he said cared for her and her unborn child, which was mad because she wasn't sure about the whole motherhood thing. She then wondered how the city worked, were they just given a man until the child was born? or till a certain stage of the child's age? She would have to ask about that, to whoever would know about such things. The thought only crossed her mind for Basil's welfare, they way he talked about his adventures of culinary, it made her feel sad about him being stuck there. Even if he did say he enjoyed her company. She did hope he was allowed to stay longer, if he wished of course.
She looked straight into his eyes once he mention his crush for her. Cecilia wasn't freaked out at all, it just made her smile and tiny bit and put some colour back into her pale cheeks. "If only you was the human to knock me up right?" The Viera joked, in a slight way.. she did mean it. Basil seemed like a nice genuine guy, any girl would be lucky to have him.

"Don't worry I'm sure once some of the sickness goes away you'll be able to eat steaks again." he replied happily. Yet that probably wouldn't be until a few months in or so. Basil was unsure, he wasn't well informed in the ways of pregnancy of her species.
"I appreciate your concern though Cecilia. It's nice to have someone care about you, even though we just met. Belive you me I'll let you know if you get too controlling, which I doubt it. You're very caring and sweet, I'm glad we crossed paths." Basil was still a bit nervous about everything, but he was still very glad she rescued him.
Viera were strange, yet very alluring, creatures. While on his travels, he had heard rumors of her race, but this was the first time he had ever seen one. Basil reached up and began to scratch behind one of her velvety ears. They were so soft like a reall rabbits. She was a mystery, this Viera. He couldn't help but feel like a curious little child when it came to Cecilia. Yet the words she spoke next caused him to stop and stare at her.
Now it was his turn to blush. A bit of a surprised look upon his face, Basil stared into her eyes with a curiosity and somewhat flattered by her words. "W-Well..I would be thrilled. I mean..a-any woman bearing me a child would simply be wonderful! I-I probably would have hugged you and given you a kiss out of joy and excitement." he replies softly giving her a shy smile.

Cecilia gave a relaxing sigh, listening to his every words as he stroked the fur of her ears. His hands were nice an warm, which only made it feel more comforting. Having the ears touched and played with like that was almost like a mini massage to her, always calmed her if anyone did it. It even helped her forget about the sick feeling in her tummy, it was still there... but the lovely ear rub was more a distraction.
She noticed him get very stuttery with his speech, realising she might of said the wrong thing or came on too strong for the poor man. "Oh.. I'm really sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable with my umm comment" she blushed, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment. Just in case she did make him feel like that, she covered it up by saying "Well you'll get to have that joy one day I'm sure, meeting a nice lady.. all those kinds of things."

"No you didn't make me uncomfortable. I'm really flattered honestly." Basil smiled notcing she seemed to like having her ears touched. Returning to massaging them he blushed shyly. "Your ears are so soft. I hope you don't mind me touching them like this. I've just never met a Viera before, you're the first. There's so much about you I honestly would like to know..that is if you don't mind." he said wanting to oddly snuggle her. Maybe it was the fact that she was part rabbit.
Well, how do you not know that I've already found her? he thought not wanting to make her uncomfortable. After all she had forgotten that they were 'married' or at least 'engaged' by the odd traditions to this town. "Tell me a bit about yourself. Were you some sort of warrior Cecilia? You've mentioned a few things mutiple times that you like fighting. Not to mention the guy that knocked you up was a warrior, or at least I think you mentioned that. To be honest I was kind of discombobulated while in that cage." he stated gently.
"Can you move by the way? I can carry you if you want to move ot a softer location. Oh and would you like a belly massage? Maybe that would help ease the sickness a little. That is if you desire it, I won't force you Cecilia." he softly adds blushing lightly.
