YUU*GI*OU is my favorite anime and manga and Jounouchi is my favorite character. I don't really watch the dub anime anymore so I usually go by the Japanese names. I like to roleplay, duel, draw, and write. My favorite couple is Kaiba/Jounouchi and I'm sixteen. I suppose that's about it. Eh...okay. While I have a pretty good idea of why I was invited, we will see if you still wish to have me around after a while.
Anyway: I'm Minako. I'm 20, a University student and obviously intrested in Yuugiou to be here. To keep things short and sweet, I'm the self-titled Bakurae guru. As a psych major, they intrest me greatly from their combined position of always being abandoned and exploited by forces beyond their control. I can be found in the ZorkOrg and Diabounded threads in TVA, and various places in the GCD.
I'm very particular about many things in this fandome. The main points are: 1. Marik is a bastardized romanization. Please, spell it Malik or Mariku if you have to use rominazation.
2. It's "omote" - or "surface". The Hosts [Yuugi and Ryoh] are human, not angels.
3. On that note: Malik is not a Host, he does not have a Spirit. Malik no Jinkaku is the other personality of Malik. He is indeed a true case of mutiple personality disorder/dissociative identity disorder. Yuugi and Ryoh a not, as their alternate selves can be...removed from them. This doesn't happen in MPD/DID.
4. Don't steal fanart. I study Japanese, I've been to the sites that people take art from, and I will report you, as fanart theft is against Gaia's Terms of Service.
5. The Thief King is not the same person/ality as the Dark Bakura/Spirit of the Ring. This is a little hard to understand, and I'm currently working on an essay to explain my theory. That endevour aside, the Dark Bakura himself claims to be a slice of Zork. One would be wise to consider what kind of effect this division has on current assumptions reguarding the interaction between the Ring Spirit and it's Host.
...and last, as you may have noticed. I spell Ryo/u, "Ryoh" - If other's can spell Yuugiou: "Yu-Gi-Oh", then I may do the same as well. Plus, this way his name isn't mispronounced as much. However, please do keep in mind that it's very, very rude to call a Japanese native by their personal name unless you've been given express permission. Yuugi has given his friends this permission, Ryoh has not. Therefore, Ryoh should properly be refered to as Bakura-kun/-san at least in fiction, if not in discussion.
Now, I believe I have made my position on things clear. Thank you for the invitation, and we shall see how this all pans out.

eeto.... i'm Kiku and i'm 17... and i've liked Yuugiou for, um, enough years that i can't remember when i started. sweatdrop although there are lots of card thingies in there, i watch it for the drama and such (which is why the dub kills me cry ) anyway... my favorite is Kaiba Seto, possibly because he's the most... emotionally deranged? or something to that extent. 4laugh uh, i also love jrock to pieces, especially bands that are unique like Psycho le Cemu, Dir en grey, gazette (even though ruki sounds a bit like Kyo), and an cafe... i'm also perpetually bored. plz come distract me from my homework!! heart douzo yoroshiku~
