Xver glared at Pelleas, a sign of hatred in his eyes. As soon as the man was freed, he materialized his red spear and ran towards him "b*****d!" but before he could do anything, his foe disappeared. Xver suddenly dropped down to his knees, an expression of despair on his face "I'm heading to the palace..." he said in a mutter as he stood up. Xver couldn't really beat Noveria and his allies alone, not even him and Noir could do it alone, but it didn't matter to him, he was filled with rage and that was all that mattered.

   It was silent for a few minutes before a fist went through one of the piled up crates with ease, causing it to explode. Revealing a shoulder. It was Noir. She made grumbling noises as she surfaced from the rubble of crates, pushing them off of her as she slowly got to her feet. Sparks flying from her left hip. The shock she had received had caused some damage, hence why she was short circuiting.

Xver was about to run off to the palace to give chase, but something stopped him. Noir, he couldn't just leave her here. She seemed to be short-circuiting or something, it definitely wasn't good. Xver ran over to her and grabbed her arm, slowly bringing her up "Noir! Noir... is something wrong?" he asked, not sure of she could even understand.

Noir without warning put a finger to his lips with a exhausted look on her face. "Ssh. Xver needs to calm down and take a breath. We both know Xver soon alone doesn't stand a chance against the enemy. So why don't we take this opportunity to rest a little and find the source to defeating the emperor. Because we can't do this alone, it would be foolish and futile. " she said, sounding like an older person. Noir removed her finger and held her damaged side. Trying to conclude a diagnosis.

Xver stopped when Noir put a finger to his lips "But... we can't leave her with those people..." he said in an alarmed voice. He had just met Kiki, but there was nothing good about leaving her with the Emperor, he had stayed in this city long enough to know how ruthless Noveria was. A grimace appeared on his face when she told him he couldn't take them alone "Rest...!? No... I can't rest..." he said, still holding Noir, mostly because he was scared of her falling apart or something "You don't really think we have time to rest... right?"

Noir blinked and looked back at him. "Xver, a few hours won't kill you. Besides what good are you, if you're dead? Xver and Noir just suffered a loss in battle. We're not at 100%, Xver. And even if we were, we wouldn't stand a chance against the emperor who most likely has an
army. Kiki will be alright, there are others the emperor has his focus on and Noir is sure he needs them alive. So there no need to go now. Not when we're most vulnerable and unprepared. We need help. Or else we'd die before we could get to Kiki and the other prisoners. " she put a hand on his shoulder. "Listen to Noir, please. She does not want to loose another friend.

Xver was about to walk off to help Kiki, but when Noir placed a hand on his shoulder he calmed down, if only for a moment. The Paradox let out a sigh "How can I rest knowing that they took her and that kid though? And what they did to us..." when she said she didn't want to lose a friend, Xver stopped. He kept quiet if only for a moment "Fine... but I'm not sure how comfortable I can be in a time like this..."

Noir kept her injured side covered as she stood up straight and slowly walked a bit. Stopping so her back was to Xver. "Noir is not comfortable with any of this either, especially with these strange images in her head, but what choice do we have? We're only two people. We need more help if we're going to save our friend and the others. "

Xver let out a grunt, he didn't want to waste time, he wanted to fight this Emperor and finish him off. But he understood what Noir meant. When she put her back to Xver, the Paradox's face turned pink, his eyes widened for a moment. But Xver put such thoughts aside and began to think about the need for help "I know someone... another Paradox... but she's... odd..."

"That's the least of our worries Xver. We need anyone we can get at this point and fast. " she lightly moved her hand away from her side to see blood coming out. She cringed at the sight and sighed. "Looks like it won't be an easy fix." She mumbled aloud, tearing a piece of her dress to cover the wound in order to stop the bleeding.

Then she suddenly tore a piece of her dress, Xver's eyes widened "Gah!" the man suddenly looked away from her, his face red as he looked away "I will be staring at this wall over here for now? Okay? Okay."

Noir just about finished tying the piece around her waist to keep the wound from bleeding any longer when she heard Xver speak and looked back at him, with a confused look on her face. "Huh? What are you talking about? " she asked, tilting her head to the side in a curious manner, thinking he was acting rather strange.

The Female Robin Hood
 Piastol walked through the streets with a triumphant look. She was wearing her other outfit at the moment since she thought the other one looked too revealing for her at the time. She'll go back to it, but she just wanted to be in this jacket. She then watched Xver and Noir, and couldn't help but laugh at the man's antics, and the cyborgs understanding of what was happening. "My goodness! This is just... Hahaha..."
