"No they ain't! I've been to that stall earlier, his cut glass might be able to fool a someone with a simple knob, but the way those gems you wear glimmer show off the real deal. That and real gems are thicker and are a bit more vibrant." Ratchet replied gently looking at one of her ear rings closer. His hand gently held the gem and he gave the jewel a good feel with his thumb.

"You sure you ain't some Princess or somethin'? Sandora's nice an' all but the pattern on your clothing is different. Unless Sandora's gotten a bit fancier with their cloths I doubt your wear is from that place! Now why are ya lyin' to me? W-What do you want?!" he said studdering a little. She was starting to scare him.

Ratchet had also spotted her daggers as well and then figured she might have been one of those calm killers he had read about. The kind that would stick a knife in you while smiling gently. Backing away from her a little he bit his lip. It was clear to him she she wasn't from around here, but where was she from? Part of him felt like the answer was on the tip of his brain yet it wasn't coming into light.

She couldn't be from Lunaris, it was impossible since most of the records he had read about it stated that it was too cold for anyone to live there. Was this woman some kind of Mystic? Maybe a fortune teller trying to make quick coin by testing his wits? Whatever the reason, despite how curious she was making him Ratchet was feeling a bit frightened as well. The way the woman carried her ample body he also noted how strong she was. Miz carried herself almost similarly, was this woman just as strong as her?

Ratchet stared at her. "Well...ya can't be from the Legendary Island, that's a cursed place. Siridia's home to many rich people, yet your cloth is too fancy for even that place. The color of your skin and hair indicate that you ain't from one of the island countries..that leaves..but it's impossible..."

Lunaris kept popping into his mind over and over again. Yet, it was too cold..but then again Ratchet had never thought shark people exhisted until he had met Mizzen. Crossing his arms he looked into her eyes and gave her a curious look. "Lunaris. That's where your from isn't it?"

If that were true then all those books he had read about that cold country were junk. If she wasn't then he had no other answer. Ratchet really didn't have time for question games, and busty women kind of intimidated him a little. Just who was this dragon girl?

Ratchet blinked watching her just stroll onto the ship and began to follow after her. That made the third woman he had 'hired'. The first being the cheerfull gunner, the next the quiet slave who was still by his side, and now a mysterious dragon woman who claimed to be a scholar.

Man, I think it's time to leave port. Or maybe I should just stay on the ship, anymore explorin' an I'll have a harem by the time we leave.. he thought with slight frustration. Looking at the slave he took her hand and smiled.

"Sorry about that, I'll cook you somethin' up in the mess hall I'm sure you're starved." he said to the girl with softness and kindness.

Apparantly Mizzen was talking to a pregnant elven woman as he boarded the ship yet again. With luck the cargo would be finished loading up soon and he was staying onboard. No more adventures in this town that was for sure.

"Answer me this Scholar, if you were waiting to board a ship, surely there were better docks to sit around in. Why my ship? It feels as if you were wanting to tag along the whole time." he asked Arturia as they stepped onto the deck. Treasure sounded nice, though that was more of Mizzen's department, Ratchet loved knowledge more than treasure if you asked him honestly.

He smirked. "You're a mystery. I like that. Name's Ratchet Biggons by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you Scholar." he replied with kindness in his words. "Normally the Captain, but she's a bit busy right now. I swear that woman walks off and abandons this ship every time we port. If ya officially want to join go ask the shark over there." he said pointing a thumb in Mizzen's direction.

(...its not going that fast, your character is doing there own thing despite the story set. none of our characters can wait for you if your not there with the story. I think what viper said to princess a page back in OOC affects you too. Your trying to make your own story which is going against the grain of the actual story so I can't really help you until you read from where you were to catch up and correct this)

"Thanks miss, I've got to round up the drunkards before we head back to Sandora. Don't want to leave any here" She lied again to Mizzen.

She noticed that the shark woman had a very large stomach, which compared to the rest of her was muscled. Mizzen's belly moved. She's pregnant? Could have sworn sharks laid eggs

"You wouldn't be looking for another crew member? I am a mercenary after all despite the look."

Before he could say 'Bob's your Uncle' Arthruia had flown off to explore the ship. Shaking his head he gave a shrug and left the mysterious woman alone. Weather or not Mizzen would care she would probably join up anyway. It looked like the other gunner had decided to wander off as well, so he was alone again.

He wasn't going to bother Mizzen, though he was curious as to why she was talking to a pregnant elf. Who knows that elf probably was going to become another crew member? Not that Ratchet really cared much. Deciding to head to his room he picked out a few books, left, and made his way to the crows nest.

Opening a book about Lunaris, after the scholar had appeared the story of the continent peeked his interest some. Much of the cargo was already in the ship, soon they would be departing to who knows where. Usually the Captain and Mizzen talked about, and giggled over their horde of treasure maps. Yet he kind of figured they would be sailing for a while because of all the cargo that was being carried onto the ship.

When Mizzen got the smell for something it was hard to get her to change her course of direction, so to shorten it up Ratchet really didn't care. With a few new members, female, at least maybe this trip wouldn't be so boring.
