"There should be a trash can around here somewhere." Mattis replied. "Just a little metal thing. Shouldn't hurt anything if you toss it in there." Mattis said, then focused on finishing his smoke. It looked as though the people in the other room were about to leave, so he should probably finish up as well.

Doctor Stevens nodded gently to CJ, then looked back at the guard. "Alright. It looks as though it's calmed down out in the halls some. Lets get you both back to your cells before anything else does come up." he said.

The guard nodded, then moved to escort CJ out of the room and back to his cell first. Doctor Stevens opened the door for them, and watched them walk out. "We can meet again tomorrow. Give you a chance to rest for the day." he said.

He waited until they were out the door, then turned towards Misty. She looked a little worse since coming into the room as well. This couldn't have helped her with her memory loss any. "Come on... we'll get you back to your cell to. We'll get things straightened out in the morning." he said.

Misty nodded, then slowly followed the guard that was leading CJ out the door and down the hallway. Back into the prison cells.

((Then it all goes whack!))

Arell smiled, put out the butt on the rim of the can and put the butt in. "Thanks, che'. Man, did I need that. I'll talk t' C.J. and we'll all get thangs taken care a'. Thanks fer th' smoke!" he said as he walked out to the guards, many of which got into a defensive manner. After all, it took TEN men to get him in, and that was difficult! "Relax, will ya? I already tol' peeps I ain't goin' anywhere! God-DAMN y'all jumpy." he drawled, walking alongside a guard as C.J. came up alongside with his guard, the two side-by-side at this point.

"So, was da-?" he asked as C.J. nodded, still clearly upset.

"Didn't even recognize me . . . AGAIN! Gotta go in tomorrow t' figure it out." he hissed as he walked, thanking the doctor for at least having enough mercy on him to let him go back to his cell. Seeing his still upset friend, Arell put an arm around the guy.

"Jus' relax, Ceej. It'll get bettah fer both of us. After all, we already at de bottom! Nowhere to go but u- uh oh." Arell said as . . .

((Enter Dundee and the ACTUAL Misty from Disney World))

Dundee came in, which got Arell's sights. Not just the utter ridiculousness of a Blue Lantern wearing Mickey Mouse ears (Oddly enough, he looked like a Blue Meanie from Yellow Submarine!), but it wasn't the only thing weird.

Apparently there were TWO Misties!

Arell looked at C.J., who saw them walk past as the two went to their cell and Dundee and THAT Misty went to the main desk.

Then C.J. looked behind him to see the Misty he just vented at!

"A-a-arell?" he asked shakily. "I t-t-think I may need ya t' thump me over the head now!" he said as Arell looked at him.

"Wha' fo-woah-oh crap. Hol' still. I'll wake ya up later!" Arell growled, and as simple as he asked, Arell balled his hand into a fist, raised it over C.J.'s head, and . . .

THUMP!

Almost effortlessly knocking C.J. out, and carrying him over his shoulder, getting the attention of the surrounding guards.

"What?!" Arell asked. "He told me to!" he said as they made it into their cell.

Doctor Mattis put out his smoke and soon followed the group out of the hall as well. Doctor Stevens looked back at the older man as he joined them, frowning a bit. Mattis gave him a slight smile and patted him on the back.
"Not bad for your first day, I'd say."

Stevens chuckled uneasily. "Are you kidding? This is-" he began, and was cut off when he suddenly ran into Misty. He grunted and stepped back, staring at her and looking for whatever reason she had just stopped in her tracks.

Then he caught sight of the blue and white costume walking down the other end of the hall. And.... the woman who was following closely behind him.

"What the..." the younger doctor whispered.

"Something wrong?" Mattis asked.

"I....uh... I'll tell you later." Stevens said, staring until the two vanished from their line of sight down the other hallway.

It was about that time that Arell clocked CJ, drawing the attention back over to the two men. "..................... I trust it'll be quite a story..." Mattis mused, staring at the two inmates.

Stevens shook his head, and tried to get his thoughts about him again. "Alright... lets get you settled back in." he said, gently tugging on Sapphire's arm. Who.... was still staring dumbfounded at the empty hallway.

=====================

"I still can't believe you managed to go shopping in the few minutes you were in the Magic Kingdom." Misty said, smiling as she followed after Dundee. "Costume must help you cut through anything if you can jump line at Disney World because of your colors."

"WHAT?!?!?

THE ******** style="text-decoration: underline">WAS THAT?!?"

Dundee laughed and slowed down for Misty to catch up. "It's an old trick I learned at the circus. The right thing said at the right time can help you a loooong way." he said with a shy laugh. In truth, he knew the guy before . . . he was half-tempted to try Splash Mountain as well, until another lantern reminded him that he was still on business!

Arell smirked and helped C.J. into the bunk. "Thank ya, kindly, y'all. Hope he didn't go too wild." he drawled, referring to the unconscious man, sleeping like a baby . . . a baby with a big-a** bump on his head!

"Oh, goodie!" the Joker exclaimed at the start of their journey to the new room. As they passed through the corridor, a few people caught the clown's eye.

"Hey, Mister Softee! How have you been chilling?"

"Do not speak to me, clown."

"If you say so, you walking Push-Pop."

A little further down the hall, he started again. "Maxie, it's just shocking to see you!"

"You insignificant worm! I am Zeus!"

"Oh, come off it, you blowhard."

Finally, they reached the new hallway. "I wonder if anyone I know is here..."

While Arell and Dundee were getting situated into their cells again, Stevens helped to get Misty Blackstone back into her cell. Which, luckily was away from the duo's cell so they wouldn't have to face each other the entire time.

=============================

"Well... It definitely comes in handy." the Misty walking down the hall replied with a light smile. "And that whole transportation thing you have going is... pretty handy. I thought for sure it would take a lot longer to get all the way up here from Florida."

=============================

"From what I could see of the schedule, many of the patients down this hall are having sessions with their Doctors." Doctor Gray replied. "If you see anyone... it will probably be on your way back to your hall."

That... and it didn't take long for them to get to the correct room. It was simply at the end of the hall, and there should be... enough guards still about to...

As they walked, Gray finally noticed the... lack of guards that should be about the hall. She wondered briefly where they were, but realized that something must have happened while they were in the small room. Three more guards ran down the hallway past them, heading towards the Solitary hall.

...Great. Something happens, she only has one guard to count on.

Rogue was still strapped to the energized machine and silenced by the 'Hannibal Lecter' mask. However, Marie's green eyes widened a bit from the freakish song and sounds of guards being pummeled, "What de ******** is dat!?!? Ah'd swear Ah'd just entered Silent Hill The Musical!!! An' Ah git thrown in with de worst nut jobs of dem all! Dat's just wonderful...

The techs hurried along toward the designated chamber with all due haste, "We have to get to the chamber to hook up the machine to the Arkham power grid! Now!!!"

Dundee smiled back. "Nothin' to it, Misty. Hope travels fast in the right conditions." he said, a little relaxed as they got into the visitor's sign-in office. "If you don't mind signing us in, I gotta make a quick run over to let 'em know. Be riiiiight back." he said and slipped up to the cell, where Arell was relaxing when Dundee came by.

"Hey, bro! Can we ta-!" Dundee was cut off by Arell, who came up.

"SH-H-H-H-H!!! Don't wake his a** up! What happened!? Why are there TWO Mistys?! You know DAMN well he's gonna wig the ******** out wit' ONE running around that doesn't know him!" Arell hissed. Dundee looked at Arell concerned.

"Hey, man! I didn't know that! Look, whaddawe do in the meantime?! We gotta get him to feel better!" Dundee replied, keeping his voice hushed as C.J. started to stir.

"I dunno! Just make sho' he only sees ONE! Understand?! UNO! SINGLE! Comprende?" Arell asked as Dundee nodded as C.J. came to and got to his feet.

"Ow . . . my achin' head . . . . Arell, why're we in jail, dude? An' who's the bl- DUN?!" C.J. asked and made it over, almost running 'til he made it over.

"Hey, buddy! You alright?" Dundee asked as C.J. stared at him.

"Aside from the lump on my head, fine, blue-boy. Had the strangest dream. There were TWO Mistys running around. It was weird, man!" C.J. tried to explain the best he could. Arell and Dun' looked at each other, then back at C.J.

"Che', I may a' hit ya one too many times, brother. Why don'tcha siddown an' rest yaself? I reckon all dat stress ya had lately's makin' ya see thangs." Arell assured, guiding C.J. back to the bunk. Dundee tried to speak up when Arell shot him a look that screamed "Not. One. Damn. Word!"

Dundee nodded. Arell had a thing with communicating just by a look. Darting back to Misty, he stopped and leaned up against the wall as Misty wrote down the sign-ins . . . oblivious of the "wet paint" sign that he was right next to.

"Sorry about that, I just had to make sure we had the right cell number." Dundee said.

SOLITARY CONFINEMENT

Too late. A guard came flying across the entrance the other hallway, and slammed against the wall. Another guard followed him a second later. And then, a man with long, layered cut black care jumped out from around the corner. He leaned over, tossing another guard over his shoulder and into the wall. "Go ahead! Run away! Say it was Horrible! Spread the word! Tell a friend! Tell them the tale!" He continued to sing. Louder, more deliberate.

He stood, upright, giving the guards and Rogue a good look at him now. An off gray prison jumpsuit replaced the... eccentric black outfits the man usually wore. What skin could be seen was riddled with black scars. Slashes from some kind of awful knife fight it looked like. Even his face was decorated with long, sharp black scars that ran down his face. His lips were black, curled into an almost too-happy smile considering the situation he had put himself in. And his eyes, black as coals, were twinkling with delight.

Guns fired this time. Nothing seemed to hit him. The man pulled a baton off of one of the unconscious guards and tossed it behind him without looking. Thee was a smack, another shot, and a yelp from another guard.

"Then I win! Then I get everything I ever... All the cash! All the fame! - And social change!" he continued to sing. More gunfire... none of it so much as phasing him. He pulled more weapons off of the downed guards and tossed them back down the hall. Projectiles that... from the sounds that came out of the hall... were quite effective.

Then he grabbed a gun, and turned down the hallway Rogue and the others were in. "It's gonna be bloody, head up Billy buddy, there's no time for mercy."

The guards near Rogue pulled their guns. A few shots rang out before they could so much as fire, and the guns fell from their hands as blood ran down their arms.

A kick to the head, punch to the throat, cripple the back of the leg, another shot... and it was only Rogue and the man trying to move her.

"Here goes no mercy!"

=====================================

Misty looked back to Dundee and smiled at him. Normally... she probably wouldn't be this happy to be away from her children and surrounded by dangerous inmates. But... that aura of hope was beyond calming. And knowing that the twins were safe put her at ease.

She opened her mouth to say something, then closed it and looked past him. She smiled and put a hand to her mouth. "Um... I hope that uniform is easy to clean..." she said, motioning towards the sign on the wall.
PostPosted: Tue Mar 26, 2013 3:46 pm

"My dry-cleaning bill's o- oh. Now when'd THAT get there?" Dundee asked, looking at the sign, and the lovely little imprint that he left on the wall. "Oops. hehe" he said, embarrassed, smiling back at Misty.

"Anyways, I think we passed their cell on the way in. It was back that way." he said, pointing up the cell.

Meanwhile, Arell looked back with dread . . . or as much dread he could think up of C.J.'s ex and a blue (and white) lantern. He looked back at C.J., who looked at him with concern.

"What's goin' on, dude? Well, aside from the Dr. Horrible guy that . . . may . . . be . . . our . . . ticket . . . out . . . HOLY ********! ARELL!! I GOT AN IDEA!!!" he said, leaping out of his bunk.

"SHH! Pipe down! I doan' think we're gonna be able t' escape. Howevah . . . I gots a hunch we can get things fixed. Relax. Trust me, dude. you gon' need it!" Arell said. Well, this was going to be interesting.

Joker watched the guards running, then looked at Dr, Gray and said innocently, "Don't look at me. I didn't do it!" Really, he didn't. He had a plan, but he actually needed to be IN the asylum to accomplish it. And really, who'd expect a plan that meant he STAYED?

MISTY GALLAY

Misty looked down the hall to where Dundee was pointing. And... quite quickly her entire mood seemed to change. She frowned as she stared down the hall, her body language became uneasy, and she actually began nudging her way around Dundee. Sort of putting him between her and the hallway.

”I.... their cell? Didn't... wasn't there a doctor or something you were wanting me to speak to?” she asked quietly. Nervously. ”I... I mean... unless he isn't upset with me, which I doubt, then... I-I don't think it would be a good idea for me to see him just yet.” she said.

She knew that she had made a mistake when she had left. But... as usual... she doesn't use her head when she's panicked and paranoid. She didn't think that once she got someplace she felt was safe... CJ wouldn't be at the circus when she tried to reach him. There was no way for her to apologize or explain why she had just left so suddenly.

GODDESS

”Interesting...” Allyana mused. The knock out punch Arell had given his friend had drawn her attention. She was snow standing in the front corner of her cell, staring from one end of the hall down to the other. More specifically... she was looking from Misty to where Black Sapphire had been taken to her cell. The two doctors were quietly murmuring back and forth, but she was more interested in the universal doubles.

Then she looked to Arell. ”Now I'm a bit curious... What exactly did you two boys do to get in here? She would refrain from asking about the two women... simply because the man had made it clear he didn't want it brought to the other prisoner’s attention.

= = = = = = = = = = = == = = = = = =

DOCTOR GRAY

”I should certainly hope you didn't do it.” Gray replied with a small sigh, leading the guards to the closest available room she came to. ”If the guards are going where I think they're going... then there's going to be quite a bit of trouble. First the music, and then the alarm? Someone got to close to his cell again and lost their common sense just long enough to open the door for him. Probably trying to get the radio off of him and just wasn't thinking. Now we'll have half the guards here trying to catch the man before he makes it down to these hallways. Again. God that was a mess trying to calm everyone down.” she explained. Going about what she needed to get the door unlocked for them.

She gained access easily enough, and the door was open for them within a matter of moments. Doctor Gray moved inside the room first, gave it a good once-over, and then moved to the side to hold the door open for Joker and the guard.

Inside, it was as she had generally described it. A long sofa that patients usually layed down on while the psychiatrist sat in the chair across from them to jot down notes. Muted wallpaper that was still far more decorative and 'roomy' than the stone and metal walls most patients were used to seeing. The walls were pretty bare though... no windows, pictures, shelves, or anything really decorative. No book shelves or desks. Just a very basic room, but it was still ten times more relaxing and comfortable than the “interrogation room” they had been in.

As Joker made himself comfortable, she made a point to pull the guards aside and make sure the they were going to be on stand by. At a moments notice if needed. They didn't have to be inside the room, but they were damn well going to be RIGHT outside the room if Joker wasn't going to be strapped down to a chair.

Dundee realized what blurted out of his mouth. "Oh! I didn't mean that. I mean, he's upset, but not at us I thi-" he was cut off, 'cause someone DID hear what they were talking about, because C.J. got a good look at the two of 'em.

"Not mad?! NOT MAD?!? DOOOOOOOOON'T YOOOOOOOOOOU BELIIEEEEEEEVE IIIIIIT!"

"YES HE IS!!!" Arell shouted, trying to hold back C.J., who was still frothing at the mouth.

"She freakin' left with no reason, forgot I ever existed, and your dipshit stepbrother brought her here?!? AGAIN!? Lemme at 'im! Uniform or not, I'll bust his a** in right now!" C.J. cursed and growled as Arell held him back with one hand . . . apparently doing quite well with it.

"Don't git yo'self so worked up, che'! Didn't you learn aftah I fought de bats?! Dat ain't gon' get you NOWHERE, so SIDDOWN!" Arell growled at the angry Marylander. He turned to Allyana with a concerned look.

"It's a lon' story, che'. Mostly dis one went crazy. I'm just mean, alcoholic an' hate mobsters. What's your story?" he asked, straining to hold back the angry C.J.

Dundee looked up there, then back at Misty. "More for the doctor than us. Trust me, you're gonna be okay, just don't go in there right now. I think there'll be a doctor ready for us." he said.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 27, 2013 8:54 am

Doctor Mattis and Stevens both noted the commotion. Stevens took a nervous look back towards Mattis... who seemed more intrigued than anything.

"Well.... It may take more than just one doctor to sort this mess out anyway." Mattis mused, rubbing his chin. "Come along then... lets get those two moved out of sight. It should calm CJ down some." he said, then began walking down the hall towards Dundee and Misty.

"Oh, and... try to make sure the right side of her face is out of the man's view." he added quietly. "I can see from here that she doesn't have the scar running down her face as Miss Blackstone has... He's worked up enough that I don't think he'll realize that this woman is isn't in the prison uniform, but he'll focus on her face enough to notice the lack of a scar, I'm sure." he said as Stevens followed him down the hall, casting a bit of an uneasy glance at CJ and Arell. "Lets try to make this the least confusing as we can..."

= = = == = = == = = = = =

Misty moved behind Dundee a bit more when CJ had his outburst. Now she REALLY didn't want a confrontation. She needed to though... she felt like she needed to at least say she was sorry. She didn't.... it was never her intention to hurt him. Never. Hell, the only reason she left was because she DIDN'T want him to get hurt.

Clearly that worked out fantastically.

...he didn't look like he'd be willing to hear anything she had to say anytime soon. Wonderful. Another relationship she f*ed up because she thought she was making the best decisions for everyone.

She pulled her coat tighter against herself, feeling a thick envelope she had tucked in her inner coat pocket crinkle against her. She paused and looked down at her coat briefly, and frowned deeper.

.... perhaps she could get one of the doctors to give it to CJ. If she gave it to him, he'd probably rip it up without even looking at it.

Arell, by this time was smushed up against the door, holding back the angry C.J. from trying to punch out Dundee for what happened.

"Uh, Doc? How 'bout a li'l help here? Don't y'all have a straitjacket in dis dude's size?!" Arell asked, doing his best to keep the peace. Of course, being sober and compliant NOW he seemed perfectly sane. Oh god, I hope I don't have to use that form! Arell thought before . . .

PING!

C.J. backed up and tried to run into the door to have a go at Dundee. Crashing into the cell door, he fell down.

Arell adjusted his uniform and looked at the guards. "Uhh, never mind!" Arell said, looking around.

Dundee looked at the cell and back at Misty. "Good idea. Arell's fine, but shoot, I think C.J.'s problem's more with ME . . . I know even at his worst he wouldn't hurt a woman or a child. I'll have to get out of uniform and talk to him later. Right now, let's make sure you're okay." Dundee said to Misty as they got ready to go into the office.
