He woke up in sickly violets and noxious greens are everywhere. Disgusting. He thought. eww, there was some liquid covered his body. While he tried to get rid of them, he saw his around. He found some plants. Were they really plants? They were seemed odd.
He started to investigate the bones. They were hollow.
And then, he found the note there!
Then, he was at the entrance of the forest. what?
X said to confused Sin.
"It appears you have found one of my masterpieces. Congratulations on your success, and your survival. Now, you must deliver it."
He rests his chin on his hands before pointing off towards the other booths.
"Take the note to Selene. Cone back to me when you've done this, and you shall receive your reward."

Well, truth be told, she kind of... wandered off a bit herself too. Or got side-tracked. She let out a sigh. "Well, I'm glad I found you. It would have been a pain to have to go through more booths." Yes, she was totally guilt-tripping him.
Molan only got a dismissive hand wave at his comment. "Don't worry about it. But really... thank you." She was sure he knew that she might have deceived him a little to get him to carry the bags, but he still went with it without complaining, and, well, she had a really nice time.
...Ok. Enough dwelling on the past. She looked at the booth they were at curiously. Well... this was... different from the others.
"Mmm? Ah, sure..." She had her fair share of bright and glittery booths, and... powder. Maybe a change of scenery was in order.

She was right in that manner, he did want to avoid more accidental mishaps in booths. One run in with the wrong person in a booth was enough, so it was a good thing he'd found the ghoul before too long. Even if it was in such a place. "That's true." He wasn't going to go into more detail than that, just agree that he didn't want to keep wandering around the entire day looking. And well, that he did feel bad about the whole thing.
By the end of their encounter the bags had been a bit heavier. Mainly for the sheer number, but it honestly was fine. He hadn't minded so much, and he'd learned a bit about how the maul worked. Or the mentality behind it. He certainly knew what 'shop till you drop' meant now. He'd collapsed as soon as he'd gotten home. "Of course, you're welcome." It felt silly to be thanked again, but he didn't mind too much.
At that point though the conversation shifted and they were both looking to he path to the forest. So strange compared to the others. Far less brilliantly colored. She'd agreed to go so well, he nodded slowly and started in, still keeping quiet from his earlier babbling. He didn't trust himself so much to start up again. As soon as they started walking it seemed as if the very forest itself was soaking in any light, dragging their previously cheery experience to a dreary level of darkness. It was almost startling how quickly the sound of merriment behind them seemed to be drowned out too, even with his hearing it was like the world they were in was isolated.
He felt as if things were watching from the dark, shifting black that stretched out into the woods beyond their rocky path. Not the best feeling, but there wasn't any sound to alert him to danger, so he continued along slowly, steps even an measured as he did, until they reached a fork.
One side seeming to lead down to the depths of a potential hell from the looks of it. That didn't seem as safe. The other side showed color and life to it, a more promising aspect. As well, hadn't Olivia spoken of a forest? Was this where she'd found that bell-like plant? He stared briefly at it before looking to Mia at that point. "I... think the forest?" Even if both sides were dangerous, the greenery was far more inviting than a cave in his opinion.

She smiled at him, and stared at the path in front of them. Feeling a chill down her spine, she crossed her arms and frowned. So they had to find some note, huh?
As it got darker and darker, she was glad that she had Molan with him, and his bells. She had liked them before, but now they proved more than useful, as she would probably have to start using them as a guide, seeing how dark it was getting.
At Molan's suggestion, she nodded. "Sure, lead the way."

And so it was decided. He gave her a small nod and tentatively moved on. It was almost fitting having the 'big strong boil' play leader. If anything jumped out, he'd be the one mauled. Not that he minded, it was probably better than a delicate ghoul getting hurt. ...he didn't like the idea of being mauled for the record though. A few steps later and an almost calming smell reached him as he continued along. The placed sort had a sweet hint to it in every direction, one that only grew stronger as the pair moved along. And soon there was a tree in a clearing, vines draped around it and small bells at the tips. Similar to the one that Olivia had had, but these were the source of the pleasant smell. Why were they now so different. He drew closer to them, somewhat drawn by his curiosity and love of the things only to freeze as the less pleasant smell reached him again.
The course was one laying on the ground. Ah, they wilted in a way once picked? He eyed the source, the vines of the tree a moment and then the tree itself. Closer still, slowly, slowly...
And then the thing suddenly seemed to change it's turn, as if a trap had been sprung. He only then realized he was among the vines, dangerously close as he felt something wrap around his waist. And it definitely had nothing to do with the reaper who had accompanied him on their quiet journey. He hadn't said much since they entered, but something of a squeak did finally escape him as he felt himself suddenly shifted by the thing without much care to how he himself felt about it.
Oh jack... this wasn't going to be good.
He skidded to the ground as it flung him there, not having much of a chance to worry about the ghoul as the vines tightened around him. He felt as if what little light he could see was beginning to fade away until anew dark figure appeared. No, not new... that was the teacher. He seemed to shake something at the tree until the vines slowly released him, slinking away. Around the time that he had a chance to even try to stand again, his side sore and robes a mess at this point, he found himself jerked up as the teacher grumbled something under his breath and shoved a piece of paper in his hands. He stared blankly at it a moment, still dazed from being thrown around by the tree until a thought occurred to him. MIASMA. She was till here. "W-wait... my friend, she's-" Apparently the teacher didn't care too much as he didn't seem to stop in dragging him away from the tree and the area.
Where was Mia? He'd sort of left her behind, not on purpose, he felt tired and was walking in a daze, but...
He stopped as the teacher departed, leaving him well away from the mess and in a safer location. Still holding the note and looking around trying to find what had become of the reaper. Oh if something had happened...[A.V.] ...it's a good thing she didn't uh... /die in there? (( NOTE GET~! PS: Thanks X. Sorry I am full of shame and sadness... ;A; ))

Trailing behind Molan, Mia looked around, a slight frown on her face. Well, at least this place looked more pleasant than the the cave but... wait. What was that smell?
She instinctively wandered to the tree, eyeing the vines curiously, and... those bells. Oh, how pretty! And they smelled so so nice! Without thinking, she reached to pluck one, thinking of keeping it as a souvenir, but the smell that accosted her nostrils was one that reeked of death. Undeads. The flower was tossed to the ground as she let out a disgusted huff, covering her noise. Vile thing.
Her attention then went to the vines that held the bells, but when she heard a squeak and the jingle of another kind of bell, she turned, and stared wide-eyed as Molan was lifted off the ground.
"M-Molan!"
Before she could do anything though, vines wrapped around her, pulling her back, choking her. She shrieked, clawing at the vines, Psy fluttering about worriedly as the other butterflies tried, enhanced by her fear, were flying about haphazardly in testament to her own fear, nicking at the vines with sharpened wings, and in the process, hadn't even noticed that he had been rescued from the professor.
After more shrieking and tearing, the vines finally relented, and she dropped to the ground, gasping. Noticing an amulet on the ground, she grabbed it and ran, and not seeing Molan, feared the worst.
Ohjackohjackohjack he had been dissipated and she didn't do anything and- She ran out of the glade, tears streaming down her face.

[part one]
After turning in his prize Andrew went back into the forest, who knew what kinds of things he could fin out there. maybe he was dumb. maybe he just wanted to explore, after all the last attempt hadn't killed him. He came to the fork in the road an went to the caves once again.

[part 4] Stared at the beast, frightened. He couldn’t get away and the beast only showed himself in in its face. Was this a riddle? He frowned. An image of another mirror flashed through his head. They could carry on without humans… it would mean changing, adaption. He didn’t know how, as fear was everything, the very blood that ran through his veins. But yet, they could. He did love riddles, even with the thing read to kill him. Hopefully, he was right.

Molan did wander from the woods after a bit, still just awkwardly holding the note the teacher had left with him in his hands. Something about... had the teacher wrote this while the tree was trying to murder him? Fabulous, well... apparently someones eyes were more lovely than the sight of him being ended by a tree. He folded the piece back up as he walked along hoping to spot Mia, alas she wasn't in sight anywhere in the woods and he merely found himself outside before long. Back at the booth. The teacher had arrived far sooner, and after looking to him in regards to the note he found he needed to deliver it to some woman. A professor he didn't recognize the name of, but after a brief description he was to be sent on his way.
As for Mia? Well it seemed X didn't care or didn't know. Chances were he did, but he didn't reply and was obviously done with the Isukun who couldn't even have the sense to stay away from evil trees.
...well fine.
A few more steps back toward the brightly colored area were taken until he stopped, looking for any sign of butterflies. There were none.
He cast a wary look to the woods, trying to see if perhaps she would emerge again, but he didn't see her. Both ears fell flat, his tail limp as he realized he'd truly left her behind. Not on purpose, he hadn't been able to find the glade again after being guided out, rather it seemed the woods wanted him gone. But then they should let her out too... "Mia..." He sadly looked at the rocky path, not even too concerned the mess he looked at the moment. This wasn't good at all. How could X have left her behind. Why come to save one of them and not the other?
...had the tree eaten her? That would... he shook his head. No. She'd come... right?

Stifling quiet sobs, Mia finally stumbled out of the forest, falling to her knees. M-Molan... he... he... She knew dissipation wasn't permanent, but the thought of it still hurt and terrified her. This was just supposed to be some sort of fun festivity imitating the human's traditional holiday, but she hadn't expected, that this...
"Miasma..." She sniffed, and whipped away a tear. "I'm... I'm ok." Releasing a shaky breath, she pushed herself to her feet, and realized she was still holding the amulet. ... Oh. She should probably give this to that professor or something.
She hadn't gone more than a few steps when she heard a familiar jingle, and looked up to see... "MOLAN!!"
All shreds of self-preservation were thrown out the window as she dashed towards the boil and threw her arms around him, burying her face in his neck.

Molan had missed her exiting the woods when he slumped a bit in his shame. Being saved by the teacher, and leaving her behind to be... eaten by a tree. He'd really messed up. He was sort of pouting at that point until he heard his named called and nearly jumped as he spotted the source. Which was charging at him at full speed, nearly knocking him over as she threw her arms around his neck.
What exactly had just happened?
Not only was the reaper ghoul fine, but her face was now pressed up against his neck and...
He wasn't sure how to feel about that. Relieved, yes. Definitely that, he hugged the ghoul in returned after a moment, pleased that she seemed mostly fine. Perhaps a bit tussled by the tree as well, but in a state of wellness. After his brain was ready to fully register that, in all truth, things had ended well for the situation it had been, he lightly lifted a hand to pat at her hair, a low sigh of relief escaping him. Along with his face flushing a bit when the warmth at his neck once more reminded him just how she was hugging him. "Mia... you're alright. I... I'm sorry the teacher drug me out... I wasn't able to find you." He was babbling a bit, but he fact he'd nearly been munchies for a tree and he'd hit the ground hard more than a few times wasn't going to help anymore than her close proximity.

She let out a sigh, glad that he had made it out and hadn't been dissipated and- Seeing that she didn't need to worry about what had happened to him, she realized that she was... rather... pressed up close to him.
Quickly letting go, she flustered, and gave him a stern stare. ... Or as stern as possible as she was still blushing quite profusely.
"W-well, be more careful next time! You almost gave me a heart attack." Nevermind the fact that she had been freaking out not that long ago, making her miss the fact that the boil had indeed been fine and brought to safety by the professor.
She took a deep breath, and sighed. "Well... what now? I suppose we should go to some other booths for some fresh air..." Yes, she wanted to get as far away as possible from this booth.

Molan hadn't thought too much on the matter of dissipation, just the well being. He'd been to busy being beaten to even worry about 'death' being less than death. And it was about the last thing on his mind at that exact moment. Which was right before the ghoul suddenly released the scene they made and quickly backed away, which lead to him releasing her from the hug as well.
Ah, well... now at least he'd... be able to think straight. Composure, composure.
Nope. As he was pulling himself back into a more normal state he was met with a glare and sort of wilted again at it. He couldn't really argue with it, he'd been a bit foolish with going so close to something in a forest that was forbidden. "I... yes. Sorry." He replied, rubbing at one of his arms idly as he was a bit sheepish about the whole thing. He even had to admit the teacher had been the one to save him, she'd managed on her own. He was just a bit useless, wasn't he?
He tried to perk up a bit at the mention of going elsewhere, nodding as his ears flicked back upright and he picked his tail up off the ground to wave back and froth a few times. Anywhere but here. Though it seemed he'd need to return later to tell the teacher he'd delivered the note. Still, he gave a bit of an eager nod, causing a few jingles as he started to turn, waiting a moment for her. "Yes, I'd rather not think of the forest further." He replied and with that began walking. It was after a few steps he realized something. There was less of a jingle than usual...
He briefly glanced at his tail and might have missed a step or two. His. Bell. Was. Gone. Son of a... JACKDAMMIT. He was going to have to go back and get it later.
Even if he wanted nothing to do with this forest ever again. Though he felt it best not to mention that to Mia, he certainly wasn't going to drag her back for a fight with the tree again.[A.V.] There will be war later and sorry they will lose each other somewhere between here and next booth. >w>

Satisfied with his apology, she pulled back and sighed. It wasn't like she could stay mad at him. This place was so unpredictable, and really, they were creatures of FEAR. They should be prepared for this stuff all the time, no matter what, though the prospect of any future incidents leading to fights made her frown. If only it was possible to avoid resorting to fighting to resolve problems. It was possible for most, but not plausible for all.
Though it seemed she didn't need to dwell on these thoughts farther as Molan expressed his desire to leave too, and she walked beside him.
When he paused though, she stopped, giving him a puzzled look. Was there something wrong?
