Funnily, Mort felt more at ease at the soiled sight, even as a small nagging continued at the back of his head. He didn't know this demon . . . right? No way, he didn't really associate with people pre-Amityville, not beyond the computer anyway. "Zombies have thing 'bout not letting go either," he joked, nodding to Rex in greeting as Bells entwined herself about Thor. "Aside from odd coincidence is enjoying festival? M'not sure how humans do 'zactly, but heard is lots more . . . pink." Eech. He'd never understand how Bells could stand so much.
Meanwhile Mort was also trying hard not to stare at the demoness's face in hopes that doing so would help him figure out why he was getting weird vibes.

The booth that Zel had been thinking of was, in fact, the same one Amarus'd seen earlier: a ghoul who sort of tried to rhyme or something was standing in front of some kind of machine. Really, this was Mort's thing, not hers. Amarus hated tech, and sucked at it profoundly. She only used her eyePhone now because she liked being able to keep in touch with Zel more easily.
But hey, why not see what science decreed about her and Zel?
She waited mostly patiently (okay, not patiently at all, she totally nudged to get down the second they were in sight of it) for Zel to drop her to her feet again. It was kind of fun being carried, though she did look forward to walking around everywhere again once they weren't on their date; a lot more control was afforded her by being able to move independently.
Even if she did love it when Zel held her.
"If science knows what's good for it, science will say something positive," Mar threatened, brightly.
She stepped into half of the machine, waiting for Zel, rocking back and forth an inch above the ground.
She didn't even realize, after having thought about Mort promptly upon hearing science and seeing the machine, that her Big Brother would, himself, be at the machine. She Waved to Mort if she could, at least in passing!

Harrison was trying just as hard not to stare right back.
It was resulting in an awful lot of staring.
"Yeah, well, he's got that going for him. The not letting go. I don't know about cute." Cute was for foxfires. Rep was more likely to wear foxfires as a jacket. He jerked his thumb towards the kissing booth, "The lady in the booth back there threw some dust in our face and near knocked him out. Gave me these funny...feeler things. ...Minipets were easy to get, otherwise. Haven't been to any of the other booths yet."
Harrison liked pink. But he was human. And he was supposed to be an earth elemental, so...
"Partial to green, myself."

The dragon gave both of the students another silent toothy smile and endeavoured to look mysterious.
But Rep's attention span was about as short as his temper and this effort was unfortunately short lived. At the mention of the antennae, he decided to poke them experimentally with his tail.
"Cool they are attached."

Zel laughed as Mar spoke, he did like to hold her, but he knew she liked to walk around too - so he didn't put up too much of a fuss when she wanted to be put down. Moving quickly under the dome, he watched Mar with a smirk and bowed his head. "If it's smart, it won't say anything bad," He grinned before letting the machine do its thing. BY THE POWER OF SCIENCE! "Ahhh~h! Don't do that!" Harrison yelped, using every ounce of control he had not to swear, the feelers quivering as if Rep'd tried to yank them off.
They curled sulkily.
"They're...just be gentle up there, okay? Jack."

Rep looked about as undeterred by this objection as a cat being told very pleasantly to please shoo and stop sitting in a sunny patch.
"Oh woah you can like feel them and sh.."
"And jack."
<>
He sat up a bit and with a raspy death rattle, blew on them.
"Can you feel that?"

They ruffled, and there was a gentle puff of goldish powder. "Ah! Yes, yes! J-jack, man! It's like having my...like, uh. Th-the back of my neck..."
They stood straight up, shivering with over-stimulation.

The powder made Rep sneeze, and with a reluctant resignation to professionalism, sprawled back across his shoulders. "Fiiiiine."
He kept watching them though, tail flicking.
Having a conversation around Rep was a fairly complex art.

Hands shoving one hand into her red overall pocket, Levi turned a button adorning her garb with the other that was shaped like a heart pierced by a bloody dagger. Like they'd done for their prom celebration, West had taken Levi over to the maul and helped her find something that could be deemed suitable for the festivity. To the tatzel's relief, Scarentines didn't necessarily call for pricey gowns or heels. Instead, Levi found a pair of bleeding heart overlays that were just enough of her and just enough Scaretines. As it was at prom, again, West too had matched to suit whatever Levi had worn- at least by color and theme; overalls didn't seem favorable to the wrath demon himself.
Tail curled up as it usually did in crowds, the end of the white appendage felt a sort of whipping occasionally, causing the ghoul to turn and have a glance at what was assaulting her from behind. Oh. Abruptly turning her head back as if she'd seen nothing, Levi looked up at West at her side, lips smoothing and tapering upward at one end mischievously. Indeed, without reaction otherwise, Levi's tatzelwurm tail curled low, allowing for the end to weave together with the wrath demon's, coiling loosely. Now whadday'a reckon-?
The two glass domes caught Levi's attention among the several booths around. The tatzel ghoul had never been one for technological materials or devces, but she was indeed familiar with Professor Moira. West too looked curiously at the contraption attached to the mass of wires going in and out of cogs, nuts and bolts. Ya'wanna try this? If she could figure out how it worked, sure, they could play with the mechanical game. Alrighty, I'm game if ya'll are. If the demon boil was really fixed to try it, she wouldn't object to an attempt.
So what's'it mean? Levi raised a brow at the result, unknowing of what she'd just won/lost. Recalling the chart by their professor, the tatzel peered at the numerical categories, scratching under her chin as she read. Well sure, but ain't we already had somethin' sweet b'fore?
She did grow candy corn.
N' yer m'opponent, after all. Her equal, her strength and her weakness all in one; that was West to the ghoul. Her reaction to the result was far from astonished. Rather, it was just to be expected; what else would it be?

The witch gave a small noise of disagreement over the cute comment and would have said more, only another exchange took place. It involved antennae and breathing and... Um... This was... errr.... Not sure what else to do Belladonna only gave the couple a tiny, awkward laugh.

"Science!" she spat out, as if she was cursing particularly vehemently. Amarus promptly made a beeline for away, wherever away might lead. It was entirely unclear where in Jack's name she was going, and she didn't exactly pause to explain to Zel, but the word Revenge trailed its way back after her.
How she was going to seek revenge on a machine, was unclear. Even to her, really, as she got distracted by a game with balloons.

West had already moved to stand under his designated dome before she got to hers, and he stared straight ahead while the odd machine calculated their results, repeating a rather threatening mantra under his breath, something about maceball bats and robots. Maybe. It wasn't all that clear and he only got through it two-and-a-half times before Moira's device declared them meant to be.
" the demon half-shouted, coughing into his hand when he realized how bizarrely unwarranted his reaction probably seemed to the ghoul. He cleared his throat. "Yeah, o'course we did. Silly thing, tellin' us stuff we knew." West grinned, moving away from the mechanical mess so someone else could have a go.
"So, anywhere y'wanna be?" At the moment he was game for anything. Validation had never felt better.

For whatever reason, West was pleased with this machine telling him something known; Alrighty. Ya'know, sometimes yer an'odd one, boil. Reconnecting her tail to his after a brief separation having used Moira's device, the tatzel just shook her head and cackled a hillbilly cackle crossing her arms under her chest. Hmm~ don't reckon they got any wrestlin' critters 'round 'ere, eh? It had sure been fun wrangling minis under Professor Red's watch during their last school festivity, but Scarentines was usually about dancing, right? Like proms?
Then again, hugging at the denim, Levi was reminded this wasn't quite the same thing; no dressing up in things she had to worry about keeping clean. Whadda'yew think? How's that bottomless pit'a'stomach a'yers, West? Hand coming out to flick at the wrath demon's middle, Levi perked a smirk, giving a light emphasizing squeeze with her tail. I'm game fer doin' anythin' yew wanna do. Hearing the words come out, Levi quickly had to follow up, for once seeing a double meaning laced in her words. ... in public.
