OOC; Sorry, been busy with school and stuff. xD
Matt nodded as the boy wondered off. The question took him by surprise. Did he have plans? He never gave it much thought. He had always gone with the flow. "No not really, i just wing it most times. I'm one of those go with the flow types, i would never have even thought to work here. If i was not asked to teach here, i'd most likely be traveling right now." He chuckled.

"My current job is all I have left. But I really, really do enjoy this." he said and kept smiling. And indeed, what else could a forgotten god even do? His people were long gone. Of course he could keep on doing what he was created to do. But there was no real need for it any more, since the "time" of that civilization was already over. ... "...Though, it might get a bit lonely sometimes," he confessed. For a short while he had lived among his people, and back then he hadn't felt lonely. But indeed, they were long gone now. And now, here at the Academy, it was his responsibility to take care of most of the outside areas - all alone. ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ή λ ι ο ς ☀ 𝕰VERYONE IS CARRYING SADNESS AROUND WITH THEM. OOC: I want matt to turn someone, its my favorite part of vampire lore and stuff :3
Matt chuckled at that remark. "Yeah i suppose, i had no choice when it came to my fire ability's. But that is a long story, best saved for another time." He said.
"Well so far so good for me, at least it's not boring." He laughed.
Matt knew that feeling all too well.
"I know what that's like. To be honest i wish i wasn't immortal at all. Human's can grown old, change. Have an end." Matthew said, he remembering the true reason he wanted an end,

▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ Í L I O S ☀ Ilios looked at Matthew. Indeed, the teacher was a quite ancient being, too. Ilios could not even remember his own age any more, but that didn't matter. All immortal beings share the same pain in any case.
"Mmm-h." The sun deity tried to smile back. Even though they had something in common, he didn't like Matthew's idea of "the end". In fact, that piece of information felt much more painful than the stabbing wound that Ilios had received just a while ago. That man was the most precious person for him right now, after all. It might sound pathetic, but Ilios indeed didn't want to lose him, too. "I wonder what is it like to be a vampire. Do you all really desire to see the end just yet?" he asked. He was staring at the sky again, because it would be too painful to look at Matthew right now. Ilios technically knew what it was like to be a vampire. After all, he knew a lot of things. But he wasn't able to feel it the same way as the vampires did, he was just processing information. Would it feel just like his own life? No, probably not. Definitely not.
[OOC: Hmmm... Well, go ahead. Though, if he would turn Ilios, Ilios will just die sooner or later (because of his own powers), and then be reborn again. And he'd get another fresh start, as always. But he might very well agree to try out Matt's way of life, even for a moment. XD ] ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ή λ ι ο ς ☀ 𝕰VERYONE IS CARRYING SADNESS AROUND WITH THEM. Matt sighed. "It's not as fun as I've made it seem. Believe me, i would not choose this path again." He said. When asked if all vampires sought an end, he let loose a small smile.
"Only the really old ones, i'm just tired. Since the day i lost my love, i have no purpose really. Unless i find some purpose again, what else would i look forward to? It's rather difficult to kill me anyway, only a powerful witch or warlock can kill me. That and too much sun. The witch i made this deal with made it so. Wood can hurt me, but it only kills people I've turned or have already turned." He explained.

▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ Í L I O S ☀ The sun deity nodded. This chat had made him feel a bit down. The topics today were quite depressive, indeed.
"I was created to live for the sake of the life itself," Ilios explained. What he just said was right, after all. That is the only reason why sun - or sun deities - existed in the first place. Their job is to keep the life and the time moving. They needed no other reasons to exist than the life itself.
"And I've died a countless number of times, as you know. The end won't be pleasant. Trust me. No one should seek for it... nor be afraid of it either," he said and looked at Matthew again with a smile on his face. He tried to cheer up the teacher. "Besides, there is always new things to look forward to. You might not have found or noticed them just yet. But you will find him one day!" he continued and kept smiling.
But then he realized his mistake, and blushed a bit. "I mean... You will find them. Sorry. That must sounded weird. ...I'm sorry." he said... And laughed.

Matthew nodded in agreement. He knew the end would not be pleasant, but he would still look forward to it nonetheless.
Matt laughed, he was bumbling, it was rather cute actually. "It's quite alright." He said with an awkward laugh.

▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ Í L I O S ☀ After the awkward laugh, there was a silence. The sun deity didn't speak anything. Ilios was quite confused. He had screwed up - again - by getting his personal feelings mixed in this. But could it be that..? And that's when the time literally froze. The sun deity needed a brake. He just... Needed to think about this.
He never had time to deal with his past. He knew that what had happened was all his fault. The memory of destroying a whole civilization was quite fresh, because he had never touched this memory of his. And yet, he still refused to learn his lesson. He still felt a lot of compassion towards all those who had to live in the human realm. He was not any better than any of those creatures, actually. He was simply a cogwheel in a machine of life, just like everyone else. Yet, he had been punished for thinking that way. Can it really be a sin to feel compassion? Maybe even love?
Hmm.
He sighed, and the time started to run normally again.
"...Thanks." Ilios said and smiled again.

Matthew was oblivious to what Ilios was thinking, so he simply turned his head slightly. The sun seemed to be returning. Sunbeams soaked through the clouds and fell on matthew's face. Matthew felt nothing, it had been over 15,000 years since he had felt the suns warmth. "I'd better get back to my office, i need to gather up my lesson plan. My class won't teach itself." Matthew said, changing the subject.

▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ Í L I O S ☀ The sun's light slowly turned the sun deity's hair a bit golder again. Usually he had a stripe or two at the beginning of the spring, and then the color slowly started to spread until his hair was fully golden. And if the sun was bright enough, even he seemed to glow a bit. At summer his powers would also reach their peak. But ever since he had entered the human world, he hasn't been using his abilities. It wasn't only because he valued peace so much, but it was also because he simply shouldn't do it. He still wasn't allowed to mess with this world and it's events too much.
"Sorry..." Ilios said, and hid the sun again. His hair turned a bit more silver again. He grabbed Matt's shoulder. "And... You really shouldn't go," he continued and looked a bit worried.

In the time since they had met and all the event that followed the sun had began to fade, until at last it was gone. The stars were out, and the moon began to shine ever so nicely.
Matthew could have easily shoved Ilios back and leave, but his curiosity got the better of him. "Why is that?" He asked at last. He turned around and looked Ilios squire in the eye, his now blue eyes were curios.

▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ Í L I O S ☀ Not the stars again... Only now he remembered how uneasy he felt at night. The moon, the stars... They all seemed to mock him. His previous thoughts about loneliness just made it worse. Nights were so cold, long and lonely. And of course, it was most likely part of his natural instincts that told him to stay away from darkness and night.
"There's many reasons. One... Well, you wouldn't believe me even if I could tell about it. But trust me, it is serious," Ilios explained. Matthew was looking at him. "...And two. ...Actually, I can't tell about that, either," he continued, tightened his grip and looked away. ... "So, three - because of the reasons one and two, I don't want you to... leave," he said and... Yawned.
Indeed, the sun deity felt the need to sleep at night. As ironic as it sounds, even a god's physical form did need to sleep sometimes. It was rather bothersome, if you ask him.

 [OOC: xD Ok then ]
'The stars are out...at last something familiar in this strange world...' Matt thought, he always loved the night and the darkness it brought. Ilios was light, and Matthew was darkness.
Matthew felt the grip grow and sighed, breaking him from his thoughts. "We can see each other tomorrow. Besides you look tired." He said. It was only just clicking that Ilios was starting to like him. Matt grabbed the hand that held him and gently removed it. Although to him it would feel anything but gentle.
