But my school is stupid, and won't let us use it as a source for secondary research. (Which is a bit of a problem for me, because I have a big research paper due next month in my Accelerated Intermediate Composition class...><) [/off topic-ness]

I dunno, it's there in some of fanfics that I've read (which actually isn't that many) but there seems to be...Mother-Sues, is that the word?
Anyway, it's where the mother of one of the boys (or both) helps plot to get them together, and her personality is usually really sarcastic and carries the traits of many -Sues. They're pretty ignorable, but I tend to like my fics without 'em. I tend to hate them for pressuring their children for sex.

I know what you mean, though, I've never really minded them all that much. XD Maybe that's because mainly the only writers I've seen use them are the really good ones, like Slashapalooza and Uzumaki-sama.

Mary sues are just awful. Dx Find me a fanfic that has a GOOD Mary sue and I'll give you a bunch of secret RikuSora tapes.
My IQ is still lowered from that "sad excuse for a fanfic..."
