Zak gave a small sigh and then got up from his spot next to the Houndour as Lexis fell into the hole trying to save Lizzie. "Come on Lexis" he said offering his hand to his fallen comrade. In the end he was the one who had fallen in next to her.

Seeing that the girl who'd just helped him was falling in, he made a grab for her. He was able to get hold of her arm and haul her out before she got in too deep.

It took Keria a moment to recover from the stunning but once she had she thanked george for helping her out and tried to save Arwen after he fell in.

Lizzie let out a sigh of relief as she was finally rescued... Only for several more people to fall into the pit. It was ridiculous over how a simple hole can trap so many people. This time, though, she was determined to keep her balance. She went for the person that tried to help her before, Arwen.

"And now I have company, how charming. Though, I do have to question... Arwen, didn't you run off with this group?" Lexis frowned thoughtfully, looking at the man beside her. "After the Rocket grunt that ran? I was certain you were the one that charged after him."

The houndour yelped and took a giant leap backwards when the people around it fell into the hole.

Cara smiled at the houndour then looked at the pit only to see more people in it than when she had gotten out. She had a deadpan expression on her face and she realized what the houndour was sad about, or she thought she knew at any rate. "Don't worry, we'll get them out." She said with a soft smile and went back to try and get someone else out. "This stupid trap is really evil." She muttered as she reached in, going to pull Zak out.

At least she kept her balance this time. Other people had more luck than Lizzie so she turned to the only person that was left in the hole, Zak.

Tyg fell back in confusion as more people fell in. She moved forward to try to help again, but it looked like finally everyone was out. "Some help I was," she grumbled. Weird things were happening.. again... oh and was that a houndour?

"Dang, you must be heavy," Arwen joked at Lexis between pants as she caused yet another trainer to fall. Then, "thank you!" when helpful hands reached down to grab him.
He managed to get to the lip of the pit and sat there while he brushed himself. He looked at the Houndour warily before his attention was claimed by Lexis.
"I did. He got away from me, though, and I came back here to help," he explained, his voice laced with disappointment at having missed the Rocket.

"Thank you," he muttered to Lizzie after he was successfully pulled out of the pit. It looked like they had saved everyone now. With that he turned his attention back to the houndour. "Sorry about that boy." he whispered to it. "I didn't mean to scare you by falling in."

Joy! No one was stuck anymore! The houndour went around and licked everyone's hands, faces, or ankles if it was showing.
(( Decide like civilized people who should take the houndour home AKA kill each other for it. This will count as your one pogey for the event. Open to anyone who was stuck, or tried helping someone in this trap.

Cara went back over to the houndour, glad that it was still there and also that Zak was ok. "See? Everyone's ok. We're all out of that nasty trap." She said, carefully scratching the pup under it's chin. She turned to Zak for a moment. "Glad you're ok too, would not have been good if we had to leave you down there."

"I must have just missed you getting help when I left to try and get out the poor people in a pit. One of them is still trapped, that I last saw." She sighed and chuckled as the Houndour went about, kissing everyone sloppily. "Aren't you adorable."
