Jericho smiled and held on tight, waiting for them to take off and fly on back towards the dormitory. He beamed even more as they soared over the lands once more, taking in this exhilarating experience that was flight.
If by some chance he happened to really have been a dragon, he had to be jealous of his former self.

After a long, slightly bumpy, somewhat jarring flight, they returned to the monster dormitories, and Riley landed on her feet this time. Of course, she landed in a tree.. but at least she was on her feet.
One well executed jump later, they were well on their way to the dormitory doors.
She had her hands too full to text, so instead she simply searched for the mind she knew best, locating it easily and informing the plague doctor that they request its company. So far, it was going well. She seemed rather pleased at the outcome.
She stopped in front of the monster dormitories, and had a thought.
Would you like to see my room, instead? More familiar territory could always help. I can ask Malodore to meet us there.

To be honest, Jericho was a little nervous to have them land in a tree. It almost looked like it was going to be a crash landing. Thankfully, that was not the case. He followed her towards the dormitory, expecting to go back into that rather hot room, but paused as she stopped.
"Yes! Please! That cavey room really isn't suited for an elf like me. I'd pass out from heat exhaustion spending too much time in there!"

The idea of Jericho passing out from heat exhaustion was both amusing, and sad. There was no fighting the truth - he wasn't the same person. At least, physically, he may never be the dragon they'd known. There was always a chance for his mind, however. And even if that failed..
Then my room it is. She told Malodore where they were going, and then turned to head up the hill that led to the creepy, giant building the demons lived in.
You needn't worry about anything, here. Malodore and myself will take care of you. Whatever you need, we can provide. That is our promise.
She reached out to open the creaky door, and head inside. Her room wasn't too far in, and she stopped at the front of her door, tapping on her dry erase board.
Still need a ride tomorrow?
That's your handwriting. She pointed out, her eyes crinkling slightly.

"Alright Riley," the little elf chirped as they moved along. The other building they went to was quite different. It was far fancier. Still very gloomy though from what he could tell. When they stopped before one of the rooms, he looked up to see what she was pointing towards.
"Oh?"
He had nothing else to say. It was easy to point at things and say he had done this or that... but there wasn't much to show for it. But he just let her play along with this game. It should make her feel better.
"Let's go in!"

Riley dropped her hand, and tried not to sigh. She opened the door and stepped inside, flicking her light switch on and blinking until her eyes re-adjusted to the particular levels of light the room used. The hallways were always so comfortably dim.
This is my room. She announced, gently setting the elf down on his own feet and closing the door behind her. She kept it unlocked, even though Malodore had the key - it would probably appreciate not having to take the key out. This is the living room area, and beyond that curtain there is the study. Beyond that, my bedroom. She pointed to the opposite wall. That is the kitchen, though it is sorely in need of restocking, so we'll have to wait for Malodore before we eat. The bathroom is to your left. Please, make yourself at home.

As the door opened up, Jericho peered around the mindflayer and looked as the lights were turned on. It was much nicer than the huge cave that was supposedly his own room. While it was still kind of dark and grim, it was at least more comfortable. There was more furniture for one thing.
"Wow, this place is pretty nice!" he said.
It could be better of course. He doubted the furnishings were edible like they'd be in a gingerbread house. Alas.
He looked to each of the areas as Riley pointed out and gave a quick rundown of the room. The elf wandered about, getting a feel for the place, then plopped himself right onto the couch in the meantime. Nice and soft.

She could tell, at this point, that he was more comfortable here. She sat down on the couch beside him, though no plopping was done by her. I can understand your distress concerning your room. Please, feel free to consider this room your home until such time as you feel you would be more comfortable in your own. And if that time never comes, well- Her eyes crinkled as she lied through her metaphorical teeth. I've always wanted a roommate.
She considered accomodations. If you choose to accept my offer, I regret that the couch is the only real place to sleep, other than my own bed. Not that it would be the first time you've slept in the same bed as me, but I'm confident sleeping with a mindflayer is currently not on your elven to-do list.

"Oh yes, this is much better. I can't imagine sleeping on a pile of gold. That sounds so uncomfortable!" he remarked. Jericho felt that he'd be better off just sleeping on the floor if that were the case. Though he soon smiled warmly, "Thank you for your offer. I hope I won't be too much trouble."
"Oh! And this couch is fine. It's very comfortable and I'm pretty small anyway. I fit just perfect here."

You have manners. Riley remarked rather suddenly. And you're clean, and well behaved. You are less trouble than the majority of people I call friends and family. I'm happy to open my room to you. You would have done the same for me. She was absolutely certain of that much.
I'm afraid.. clothing will be a problem we will have to deal with tomorrow. I'm sorry. She didn't even have any doll clothes to give him. Did she know anyone his size? The closest she could think of was that faerie, Astra.. but she was a ghoul, and still bigger than him. No, that wouldn't do at all.
I'm sure we can find something, then. Unless..
Riley pulled out her phone, and sent a quick text message off.Eight Text from: Riley If I needed a shirt and pants, for someone appx. 3 feet tall, how long would that take you to make?

Junko was glad for the distraction from a very dull homework assignment she'd been working on, picking up her phone and reading the text. Three feet tall? Who was--oh. She blinked. Nio Love Text from: Junko For one outfit? Not long. I'll need his exact measurements though, the only thing smaller than 3 feet I've done has been minipets, and the shortest student was like 4 feet almost 5. She paused, humming quietly before she sent another text. Second text to Riley I'm also out of red fabric~. I'll need to get more.

Jericho just beamed at her at that. She said he had manners! He was such a good elf.
"Huh? Clothes? What's wrong with what I got?" he said while tilting his head. His clothing were perfectly fine as far as he was concerned. Even so, he just watched as Riley went on and gave someone a message with her phone. In the meantime, he just kicked his legs out while sitting on the couch.

Eight I will measure him. Will text when I have it. And the color is irrelevant. Thank you for your help. Riley clapped her phone closed, and pursed her lips down at him. I did not mean to offend. There is nothing wrong with what you're wearing now - but I assume you don't plan on wearing that one outfit, unwashed, for the rest of your life. Seeing as this is your first day in that body, I would like to acquire some clothing for you. Plus, it might make things easier if.. you fit in a little more. She bent down, and one long, taloned finger jingled one of his bells. Her face quirked in amusement.
She reached one hand out. Would you accompany me into the study? We need to get your measurements.

Well she had a point there. Jericho thought about it for a bit, then nodded to Riley. Hopping off the bed, he went on and followed her into the study.
"Are you making the clothing yourself?" he asked.
