He won that round. Kettil returned the kiss and just grinned at her, "Thank you, Missus Byrnhildr, I am glad you got my point."
Then he pretty much let her hold his hand and added his other hand on top of that as well to help her keep her swarm as his chin just rested on her shoulder. There was a small flutter of his eyelids and soon he was fast asleep next to her, napping the trip away.
It almost seemed as if he'd barely fallen asleep when the conductor happened upon the pair, "Ey, ey, this is your stop you, two. Get up now," the ghost urged as he checked his pocket watch.
Kettil startled a bit and sat up a bit more grudgingly, "Fell asleep," he almost sounded disappointed. Grudgingly he thanked the conductor and went about getting the luggage so they could depart off the train.

Freya hadn't slept, although the sound of Kettil's slow and even breathing had her in a lull of content that was as close to sleep as it could be. Her eyes were half-lidded, watching the scenery go by, and her mood mellowed so deep it was a trance-like effect. It felt so good. So peaceful. A perfect moment locked in movement.
The sound of the ghost toddling by startled her out of her reverie, and her eyes opened to look up at him in surprise. Could it be they had arrived already? Even awake, it hadn't seemed like that much time had passed..
She heard the soft spoken words of Kettils admittance and giggled, pressing her hand to his cheek and running her fingers across his skin. Tenderly she adored him in the moment of silence, before her fingers reached to pinch his cheeks. "Yes, yeh did. Up now, before they leave and we are off on some adventure into the unknown."

He scrunched up his nose as he stared at her while she pinched his cheeks, "Ya, ya. It'd be fun though, goin' over some place we never been to before," he said simply and he lightly leaned to kiss the tip of her nose and then he was up on his feet and gathering the luggage to carry between the two of them.
Kettil waited for her to get up before he offered her the crook of his elbow.
"Let's go~," he announced.

Freya slid out of her seat and hopped up against his back, as though she was going to make him carry her AND all of the baggage, but in the end she just shoved him gently, patting his rear to get him to go down the aisle.
"I do likes adventure." She admitted. She wouldn't have minded getting lost, with Kettil.
She looked at the crook of his elbow, and put her hand on it, but until they reached the end of the aisle she couldn't really stand beside him. By then, the doors were waiting, and she already let him go to jump out of them and land, fluttering, on the ground.

"Hey now let's not get improper," he teased as he felt her pat his rear and he moved onward. Kettil smiled lightly and nodded, "Adventures are fun~."
Kettil watched her move on a head and jump out of the doors and laughed a bit, "Ohh, lookit you. All fancy with your wings," he teased again as he just walked on out and then took a pause to orient himself with once familiar surroundings.
"We gooooo...This way," he announced as he started to lead them away from the train platform. At least until there was a sudden joy-filled screech and a small ghoul hugging onto his waist after she bowled into him. Kettil took a couple of stumbling steps backward out of surprise.

"Hah!" That phrase, coming from him? It made her laugh. Laugh hard. She grinned back at him proudly as he teased her about her flying, and fluttered her wings coyly at him, her eyelashes fluttering in time with them. She was very proud of her wings, just as she was her hair, and her manners. The teasing grin faded when he pointed in a direction, turning herself to face it and walking forward step by step. She even went a step further after Kettil disappeared under the weight of a little ghoul, who Freya assumed was either his little sister.. or a pickpocket.
Or both.

For the time being he dropped the luggage in favor of picking hugging the young ghoul with a bit of a laugh, "You could have waited back home, we were on our way there."
"Nope. Nope. Not waiting, not ever," the small scareling announced stubbornly and then the ghoul paused a moment as her head tilted over toward Freya and then her eyes got large and round. ".... ... .WINGS! SHE HAS WINGS."
It wasn't that denizens with wings were unusual to the small ghoul but she certainly wasn't expecting it from Kettil's traveling companion. The small girl looked at her brother and then swatted his arm, "DIDN'T TELL ME YOUR GHOULFRIEND HAS WINGS."
Then suddenly she hopped away from Kettil and up to Freya, "May I touch them? What is your name? I call myself Fox! Hey! Hey! Do you fly all the time? You have a lot of hair..."
The one known as Fox looked a lot like small female Kettil except for lighter colored hair and eyes.
Kettil shook his head and laughed, "Don't attack her all at once, Fox! She's going to be staying with us."

As soon as she heard the little ghoul speak, Freya's eyes widened. Gods help her, she sounded like a little female version of Kettil, to the very last word. She jumped when the ghoul turned to her and cried out, but the shock was gone by the time the ghoul hopped forward to barrage her with questions. Freya was staring at every feature of her face, transfixed by all the resemblences she could see of the face she'd all but memorized at this point. Freya bent down to her knees, held her arms out for the ghoul, and flared her wings behind her to their full, impressive length.
"My name is Freya, little angel, and of course yeh can touch them. I flies as much as I wants! I can flies yeh if yeh wants, sometime. Now, yeh come and gives me a hug, ja?"

Fox stared at Freya a long moment after being called an angel and before long the small ghoul broke into a fit of giggles and a wide mischievous grin, "'m no angel!" She insisted though her face broke into a pleased blush. It didn't take but a few seconds before the ghoul flung herself at Freya for a hug and a small affectionate kiss on the cheek. "YA! Take me flyin' before you go back, pleasepleaseplease!?"
The boil gathered himself up and collected the dropped baggage with a bit of an amused look, "You keep showering her with compliments she'll never let you out of her sight," Kettil teased at them both. He was probably talking about them both as well, since he didn't specify which of them he was talking to just then. "C'mon, let's get going."

Freya liked that answer. She liked it very much. Her devious grin broke across her face, and she laid a kiss on the ghoul's nose. "I promise. We'll go flying. Just yeh and me." Giving Kettil a look at his tease, Freya's expression turned wry. "Maybe that's what I want. I'll just stay here and yeh goes back teh schools. Bye bye Hooter." With that, she turned and started to walk away, swaying her hips with purposeful intent.

Fox grinned happily at Freya and then tilted her head toward her Brother and made a face at him. When Freya started to saunter off, Fox was quick to reach up and pointed in a direction murmuring a soft, "This way, is my shortcut!" then she tried to mimic Freya's expression but ended up giggling instead.
Kettil watched after the pair and only sighed with a shake of his head, "Like I'd let you be anywhere without me, Túkut," Then he moved to follow them instead.
The smaller ghoul just laughed, "She's mine now!"

She listened to the advice and went for the shortcut, refusing to look back at Kettil the entire time. She gave the little ghoul a knowing glance, before her wings flapped tentatively behind her. "Hmm." Never let her be anywhere without him, he'd said. She hadn't been able to pull herself away from his presence since that day. With the little ghoul in her arms, and a possible trick on the horizon, she almost forgot why.
"Maybe I won't gives yeh the choice, Hooter." She purred back at him over her shoulder, her wings flapping again.

At the glance Fox only giggled behind cupped hands. This was a fun game! The way her Big Brother was reacting was funny. She'd peeked over Freya's shoulder and stuck her tongue out at him playfully.
Kettil raised an eyebrow as he followed along behind them at a leisurely distance and shrugged his shoulders, "If you think I'd just let you go without comin' after you, y'got another thing comin'," he replied.
Fox looked up at Freya and whispered, "Do you two play like this all the time?"

Freya nodded her head at Fox and waggled her eyebrows, before finally turning herself around to face Kettil while walking backwards. "Yeh says that like yeh thinks I would gives yeh a chance. Or are yeh forgettings something important, screechie?" Her wings caught the wind, and billowed out behind her, picking her up easily and setting her to flight several fight up above him. She flapped them gently, keeping her floating just out of his reach.
"Goings teh comes and gets me now, screechie?" She taunted playfully. "I'm kidnapping yehr little sister, she is mine now!"

He just smiled at her display and words, "I'll climb trees, I'll climb mountains, if I gotta I'll find a way to grow my own wings just to get ya," Kettil paused thoughtfully, "I'd be okay sharin' Fox with ya. She's my favorite after all."
Fox let out even more giggle as her fingertips clung to some of Freya's clothes as the Valkyrie lifted off a bit, "Ahh! This is so awesome!" Her small face was positively alight.
