I honestly don't think it's ever worked that way for any game I've played.
I've never seen moves on the list that it used to know when it couldn't learn it at that evolution stage.
I know for sure it doesn't work in Generation V but I guess I'll have to go back and see in Gen IV.
It's just weird since I've specifically read that even if a Pokemon used to know it, if the current form can't learn it then it cannot be retaught.
I even read up someone specifically asking if Baton Pass can be retaught on a Jolteon that knew it as an Eevee and the person told them no. O.o

No site I looked on mentions the move re-learner being different between generations so there is no luck there lol.

I suppose so.
But if you think about it, I guess it would be neater if the game really did work that way.
But they probably wouldn't have been able to program that in I guess.

Oh my Gosh, you have the sweetest arguments ever. <3 Oh, sure. That makes sense. I considered mentioning the third installments, but I didn't know how to word it properly, sorry. Speaking of, I really hope they make a Pokemon Z! Exactly. c: Animal Crossinnnngggg! <3<3 I love Zigzagoon so much. Can't wait to see the little guy all snuggly and cute.

Haha. sweatdrop We do kind of "argue" over silly things like that lol. Like which Animal Crossing resident is better. xD
That's fine! Sometimes it's weird trying to bring in the third one lol. I wonder what the "Z" legendary would be. It would have to be in Z&Y if they're going to make a third one for it lol.
I can't wait for New Leaf, it's too bad the Animal Crossing 3DS isn't available here lol.
I wonder if he'll look cuddly in 3D, or just look really hard because he's spikey. XD

That's really sweet. C: There's way too many good AC residents to pick just one, in my opinion. >u< Quite a few people think that if they were to make a Z, it could be a snake due to the mythology. Also, relating a snake to the letter Z would be pretty easy. I live in Europe, so I'm not getting my copy for a long time. Region lock is agony. And, yeah! It's cute; it reminds me of a poptart. I mentally pictured him looking like the Zigzagoon in Pokemon Colleseum, which I always thought looked like soft, squishy rubber.

My personal favorite is Wolfgang. He reminds me so much of a friend of mine. xD
A snake probably would be the wisest choice. xD
That really sucks. D: I don't even know the release date for the states. sweatdrop
I don't remember Zigzagoon in Colosseum, so I can't compare. ; w; But hopefully he does look soft lol.

I always confuse the snobby and preppy girls in ACWW... I'm looking forward to ACNL having some new personalities, or at least new dialogue. Serperior is really pretty, but I refuse to enjoy them because they look so smug. If they did, then I can see me having a minor breakdown. D: But I REALLY hope X and Y don't get delayed, after all the fuss they made about them being released in October! That would break my heart. I kind of have a thing for soft rubber toys. I love them.

I don't believe they'll be delayed. Pokemon has always been really good at keeping up with the dates they set. Even if we don't all get them on the same day or even in the same week, I'm sure everyone will get it in October.
I don't have all that many, the only ones I have are ducks for my son lol.

So many stereotypical girls. D: I just don't like Gen 5 starters... :< No. D: I really hope so. It would be great to be able to play with people all over the world who are all just as far into the game. Rubber duckies are so fuuun! I'm really sorry for rambling to you so much! Yeah, that would be pretty great. It's why I think they'll keep to their word and make sure everyone at least gets it in the same month, if not the same week. It's how they did it with Skyward Sword and it seemed to work out well, so I hope it's the case with this!
